ive been deep into rottmnt fic for the last couple months. its not a super popular fandom for fic-related stuff so i wanted to give a shoutout to some of the fics ive read & enjoyed!

2012/2018 crossover i was following this fic back when it was still updating and when i got to the last two chapters there were times wher ei just. could not handle it. had to go take a lap around my house. it is THAT good.

Ok. Here are some fics I enjoyed. I think they are pretty solid fics. Hopefully there is something in there that you can enjoy.

“If You Cross Over” by fireworksinthenight

2003 boys are trying to outrun some shady figures and end up in another dimension. The 2012! TMNT Dimension. And they Accidentally bring some not-so-nice stowaways.

“And One to Grow On” by Zelgadis

2012! Mikey gets transported into 2003! Dimension. However, their Mikey has been dead for about a year. There are a lot of feelings in this fic. There is maybe a bit of “bashing,” but it’s more just Mikey feeling inadequate. There is also a sister fic by the same creator being made. HOWEVER, I highly recommend you read this fic FIRST or you’ll get some spoilers for the plot.

“Same as I never was” by HareLeona

2012!Leo gets thrown into 2003 tmnt’s bad future (episode: same as it never was) and he gets found by blind 2003! Leo. I must say that I personally really like this one, however the 2003!TMNT boys really don’t like each other in this fic because…..well…. It’s SAINW. However, it seems pretty clear to me that the author really loves these characters and I’m excited to see what else they have planned.

“Leo, Leoo & Leon” by Superherokid

2012! Leo and Rise! Leo got thrown into the 2003!TMNT Universe. Both of them get captured by the same mob boss who thinks he’s snagged 2003! Leo’s kids. It’s my current obsession fic.

“A Mixed Bag” by GreatlyBlessed

1987, 2003, 2012, and Rise crossover. Where all groups are split up and have to work with the alternative versions of their brothers to escape death traps set by a group of unknown, mysterious bad guys.

“How to accidentally kidnap yourself several times over” by Camildeni

Bayverse, 2003, 2012, Rise crossover. Where Rise!Mikey gets kidnapped and his powers are acting wonky. So when he tries to teleport himself away from kidnappers he accidentally teleports alternative versions of himself into the same prison cell he’s been held in.

“The Last Ronin Become a Discord Admin” by MelonPalooza

2003, 2012, Rise, and Ronin crossover. This is legitimately one of the few chat groups fics I love. I’m amazed that it’s so entertaining and it gives each group a chance to shine. I imagine most tmnt fans have read it at this point, but I’ll recommend it anyways.

Funhouse Mirrors” by Wrong_Author

Bay, 2012,2003, 1987, and Rise crossover. There are only about 4 chapters. Rise! Brothers summon their alternate versions of themselves into the lair. You Definitely can tell the author was trying to slowly pick at the 2012!’s trauma. So far I think they were handling it pretty well. It makes the 2012! Boys a bit stand-offish but not bad nor bashing.
