Welp it’s that time of year everyone! For USA folks at least lol

Let’s break down the chart of the event.

Whole sign system

This year, the Super Bowl has a Leo rising with ruler (Sun) in Aquarius 7h.

-expect the unexpected this year lol.

-Sun-opposing Ascendant tells me that there’s going to be a few shocking twist this year. Maybe we’re betting on one team as the winner but it may end up being the other.

-I think this aspect is going to be remembered a lot for its halftime show . I don’t know what usher has up his sleeve but I expect some surprising guest. The reason I say this is because Leo rules entertainers and it’s in aqua which rules over shocking events and unpredictable.

-another thing that makes me think this game is going to surprising or shocking in some way is the 5h. 5h rules over entertainment and big events. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest events in this country. It has a Sagittarius 5h with ruler (Jupiter) in the 10h Taurus, it’s also not far from Uranus which is conj MC.

-so Sagittarius expands over anything, this is a big no doubt but ppl are going to be tuning in. Whether it’s because of the swift/kelce love craze or you just want to see an exciting game, this is the year!

For the game itself, let’s look at Mars and Mercury. Mars rules over physical activities, athletes and sports overall . Mercury rules over strategy and communication. You need both things to for the game off football.

Mars Capricorn 6h and Mercury Aquarius 7h. Mars is what I’m really paying attention too because look at those aspects👀

-Mars is exalted in Capricorn so this game is going to be strategic and both teams are going to put their all in this game. Capricorn is the hardworking sign. With it being in the 6h, the house of work, it’s really doubles down on the work hard bit.

-Mars has a 29°(Leo degree). Now the 29° is considered a critical degree, it’s the last degree of the zodiac cycle. It’s known as a karmic degree as well which means it’s finishing up something. It also signifies long term fame. It makes sense for the overall energy of the game for both teams. Trying to get that ring to signify their legacy, both teams have been in the Super Bowl recent years. Capricorn rules over legacy and status after all.

-Mars is closely conj Venus this year as well. Venus is the planet of love, beauty, and finances! I wonder how many ppl are betting huge amounts of money this year? I feel like there’s going to be lots of ppl owing ppl money because Saturn is in Pisces 8h. Pisces rules over illusion and the 8h rules over other people money and debts🫠

-another thing that’s sticks out too me is the Mars-Pluto aspect. This also backs up what I’ve been saying about surprising things happening this year. I hoping this will be a non injury game but this can indicate injured players on the field or it can indicate an intense gameplay between players. Pluto rules the 4h of this chart which rules over home country, intense fan bases this year but this also indicate lots of hate between fan bases may be spilled during this game.

So the Moon is in Pisces this year conj Neptune and I’ve already touched on the Saturn Pisces bit. All of these placements are in the 8h

-moon rules over the emotions of the people. Idk this game may feel like a fever dream is what I’m feeling😅 with Saturn being here, there’s going to moments where we snap back to reality lol

-the 22°(Capricorn degree) also known as kill or be killed degree. It also rules over long term legacy.

-regarding Mercury Aquarius, a lot of unexpected play calls or things you didn’t expect to happen.

I swear the energy of this game is about , shocking events, legacy, money and usher😭😅

The Astrology of this years Super Bowl

If you live in USA, then you know today is one of the biggest events of the year.

We’re going to look at how this game will play out using an event chart.

The Super Bowl is a Leo rising with chart ruler in Aquarius 7h so there’s going to be a lot of viewerships and it’s going to be a blast. Aquarius rules over mass public and 7h is close relationships . Expect the unexpected tonight y’all. Aquarius is unpredictable sign.

Now what rules over Sports?

Mercury- mental gameplay

Mars- physical gameplay

Moon- emotional state of the game

Since football is a combo of both of these 3 we’ll look at all the placements.

Mercury is also in Aquarius 7h so expect a lot of unexpected plays happening tonight. Lot of surprising plays and calls tonight. Also expect delays and flag calls

Also, Mercury rules over commercials which is another thing superbowl are known for. Expect weird commercial also expect nostalgic commercials with Neptune close aspected here as well.

Mars is in Gemini 11h, so I expect lots of trash talking and possible fights, mostly among fans. I expect a fast moving game which means it’ll flow easy.

Moon is in Scorpio 4h. Now the moon is not comfortable here. Moon is fallen in Scorpio. This is going to be an emotional intense game especially for the fans omg.

The 5h rules over entertainment. Sagittarius rules the 5h and it’s ruler (Jupiter) is in the 9h. It’s also conj Aries. Not sure how this is going to play out but I expect some disappointments for some people with Chiron here. But you know what, this represents the halftime show as well so Rihanna performance can feel healing in a way. I expect lots of nostalgia music so we will see.

before I looked over all the charts, even though I don't know them that well yet (just tiktok stuff and their music) I assumed like, maybe mars or jupiter, maybe gemini or air/fire in general? and there were 3 unaspected jupiters and 1 unaspected jupiter-mars conjunction, but mars was a bigger player overall I think.

almost all of them (all but 2 I think) are fire or air dominant, and many with fire and air as their top 2 elements

i also saw a lot of strong or notable mars placements (mars in the 1st house, mars at home, unaspected mars, mars conjunction w another planet)

there are. a shitton of unaspected planets or duets. I talked about unaspected planets in bang chan's analysis and the ateez love/romance chart analysis--it's a planet that has no major aspects to other planets or 2 planets who only aspect each other (a duet--usually a conjunction but not always). it's usually super clear as an area of fascination or obsession or interest or something to other people but the person with the unaspected planet doesn't see it about themselves. unaspected planets are usually a generational thing, like it's likely gonna relate to something the person's family has probably been suppressing over time. with an unaspected planet there is often a lot of talent and energy and ability, but also a lot of extremes of behavior and ups and downs. it's similar to a yod--high ceiling low floor, u know what I mean? but it gives you a very intense special energy in a way.

You shrug. “She was just weird. Said she had something else going on. I dunno. It was weird and vague. Maybe I said something on the date that just turned her off.” It wouldn’t be surprising if this was the case– trying to recount what you even discussed turns up blank. Maybe you spoke too much about art, maybe you spoke too much about work. Maybe you didn’t flirt enough. 

Either way, a margarita is placed in front of you. You thank the server. 

“Well, she doesn’t know what she’s missing out on,” Jolie chimes in. Her margarita is one of those awful fruity ones, colored a bright orange. It matches the color of her nails. Part of you wonders if it's on purpose. 

Taking a sip of your margarita, you shrug your shoulders. “It’s whatever. The date wasn’t even that good.” 

Celeste doesn’t miss a beat, as Celeste jumps back to her original point: “Who’d you hook up with last night, then?” 

Your face warms. Last night? More like two hours ago. Taking the menu in your hand, you begin to fan yourself. 

“Um…” you laugh, a little breathless. Take a sip of your margarita. There’s either alcohol on the straw or it’s strong. “It’s silly.” 

Your friends lean forwards, waiting for you to continue. 

Another sip of your drink, this time for courage. “Do y’all remember that guy from like… Last month?” 

“Which one?” Misha asks. Which one, as if you slept around often. (You do. Joreen from HR was in your bed a week before Rex was. One was better than the other.)

“The blonde one. Rex.” (The better one.) 

“Yeah, I remember,” Jolie huffs. The brunch after that night had been a disaster— As Jolie travels to Coruscant quite a bit to report on the fashion that occurs in the city, she took up an appetite for clones in her bed. Ever since she got the bite, she hasn’t stopped. Given that troopers are rarely on Naboo and even more so rarely off duty, Jolie thought she had pick of the litter that night. “Maybe he knows someone,” Celeste says, placing her hand on Jolie’s shoulder. “Can get you in.”

With an eye roll, you let Jolie’s comment go. You take another sip of your drink. “I think I’m really fucked.” 

Misha furrows her brow. “Why?” 

Playing with an earring, you don’t meet their eyes. “I think I really like him.”

Celeste drums her nails on the table. “I’m sure Perfect will come along. Probably when you least expect it.” 

“What, and you expect it to be you?” Misha asks. 

You laugh and Celeste picks up her drink. “Please, I don’t have the time. Mish, you were saying you got a new contract? How’s that going?” 

“Oh, you know… They’re on the Outer Rim so I’m brushing up…”

Sunday, February 11th 2024 Sun in Aquarius ♒️💨 Moon in Pisces ♓️🌊

Today, the moon is hanging out in the sign of Pisces. You may be feeling dreamy and inspired or possibly just feeling tired. I’m feeling all of the above. Thank the inspirational side of Pisces for today’s forecast because right now, I am debating on taking a pause on them to focus on a 300 hour YTT course that has all of my focus and energy for the next month. I’m taking it day by day but…..fair warning, everyone.

The Pisces Moon is in harmony today with both Uranus in Taurus and Venus in Capricorn. We’re going to continue to see a lot of these Uranus transits for a while so get used to them. Uranus brings in changes and surprises but also has us looking for new or different ways of solving things. Venus brings in love, beauty, affection and the things we enjoy in life. Put together, this could have you in pursuit of new or different ways of enjoying yourself today. Especially with the Moon in Pisces. She just wants to relax, lay in bed and watch TV. I’m so glad it’s a Pisces Moon cuz that means my yoga teacher is gonna be more relaxed and I’ll get to watch the Super Bowl.

hi miss L, i have a spiritual/religious question and i don't know anyone else who could answer it.... since i was a kid i've been attracted to tarot, spirituality, mystical explanations of the worlds workings, astrology, all that good stuff. i never used to connect my spirituality to a single higher power, and i never had any issues with this. for a few years i've been wanting more than just a disturbingly accurate tarot spread and i feel compelled towards god. i'm not sure how to word it honestly! i keep getting messages all around me telling me the saint that watches over me, and that god is there too. so here's my issue.

whenever i reach out and pray or do any kind of ritual or reach out specifically to god or a saint, my life immediately starts going haywire. yesterday i set up a small shrine in my room for my dead kitty since i've been feeling better about her passing and i prayed a little. i asked for sign that i was going in the right direction, and hours after i prayed, our sink plumbing got clogged, my cat (living) ran out and had to be caught, my mom dropped a whole bowl of food, and i wasn't able to pick up groceries bc the bank cards wouldnt work. this never happens in my household, we've been joking that we're cursed. this happens everytime i try to reach out to god. the worst time was when my mom lost her job, dad crashed his car, and i kept having panic attacks out of the blue for a week. i freaked out and took everything i said back and bathed in salt water for hours hoping i could cleanse whatever happened to me. it worked and my life was back to normal the next day.

do you have any advice? i would love to put my trust in a higher power as i've never been religious before, but smthn is going wrong somehow.

i relate to ur background cus i grew up w no religion, my parents didnt talk about any kind of woo-woo stuff, my dads dad was woo-woo AF and my dad haaaaated it so he rejected all of it so i was pree much just a blank slate. but for some reason i was just REALLY obsessed w magical thinking and the like. believed in god spirits nature deities angels demons magic aliens and i was totaly engrossed in ~my secret world~. i was kinda scared of religion tho i viewed it in a bad light since i was learning about it during the george bush post-9/11 era & for some reason my child self was rly interested in consuming critique of america , iraq war / westboro baptist church type stuff , from an outsider's perspective i saw religion as something american people used as justification for committing atrocities & crazy power trips , which, i mean.. anyways

it didnt help me trust God xD but many of my beliefs remained into my teens i just didnt have any outlet for them. so i got into astrology around 15/16, started learning more about tarot & occultish type things, crytstals, all those subjects intrigued me very much. but i felt the same way as you, like, something was still lacking from it, even when i got these super profound tarot readings, or read my birth chart a million times over looking for clues about ~wtf is this stupid life for~ , i never felt safe. never felt assured, never felt i could trust myself or my future. it was an odd period, early 20s. but then kinda same as u, as my knowledge on these topics expanded i started to notice the quality of Holiness a lot more. the more i learned about different religions the more i realized how connected it all was, and how religion connects to "the occult", and magic, light and dark, i find it very hard to put into words. i just started to find myself actually really earnestly believing in God in a way i never thought i could? Like reading the bible & being completely enthralled, i NEVER woulda thought. i started to feel way safer in the world even tho im still not "christian" technicaly. but i believe in jesus now and it makes me feel safe on a cellular level.

i believe the real jesus was wholly non judgemental and loved everyone no matter what, the thing that susses me out about Religious Institutions was always the judgement that can spawn from it. misses the point of everrything in my opinion.

its kinda wild actually cus when i used to be into like, trash reality tv ghost hunting shows, i remember there was one ep where this psychic was talking about how she always prays to jesus for protection before doing a reading or entering a haunted place. that really intrigued me cus i thought jesus and psychic automatically cancelled each other out. i think that moment rly opened up the rabbitehole and it was so mundane like wtf. still rememebr it tho!

sorry im really in a typing mood tonight.. So my next point was gonna be that, just because i started to really believe in god and jesus and really PRAY for protection & guidance, my life did not get easier xD like i would say the past 6 years have been nothing short of a shit show. my life was fucked before that too tho so its hard to compare, but still, its safe to say my shift in perspective actually brought a lot of chaos into mylife. the point of it, i feel, is that i had to dismantle it in order to truly Live in the frequency of trusting God. because this was new to me! i wanted to trust God, i put out the energy of seeking God, and God was like ok hold on tight..

So now i'm here all these years later like, oh yeah God is real and i love him and it's all real. it's CEMENTED into me lol. When i used to say i trust God it still felt like i was asking permission to be able to feel that way. but now i really really do. And messed up stuff will keep happening forever because there needs to be light & dark, there can't b one without the other. taking a salt bath was a good thing to do tho like one of the best things <3 its also good to have crosses or your holy item of choice around the house, light white candles, organize clutter. pray a lot like every time u feel happy and safe or notice something beautiful say thanku to God.. talk to your angels and encourage them i pray a lot specifically to strengthen them, upgrade their armor n shih...i ask them to work for my loved ones, i try to be concentrated on them, visualize them around me all the time, visualize them standing guard outside every door. i feel this kinda stuff increases ur Holy EXP and over time your spiritual armor gets stronger, bad entities move on and things in life start really flow. the trust just has to b there first, and it will be, so long as u allow it <3

it just takes time, and like i said i dont want to prove anything or be The Convincer, but if u were already having feelings to go down this path i recommend not giving up and let God carry u through those tough situations instead of seeing them as an absence of God or God's Wrath. just keep praying cus it can't hurt right, even if it's just a way to occupy your mind with kind thoughts about your friends and family, there's no downside to prayer. its your own journey so u just gotta live it and feel it out ^^ but pls dont feel u are being punished by God or demons or anything else! So many "bad" things that happen end up being neutral or even "good" in the long run. We can never foresee the reasoning behind God's plan ~~~

Visual Grimoire Spreads

For when blocks of text just aren't cutting it anymore, but momma didn't raise no Michaelangelo.

- Astrological Reference Chart

This can be done by even the least artsy of folks. Trace a round thing for a big circle, use a protractor, or wing it because who cares if it's perfect. You'll divide the circle into roughly four quadrants. Then, you'll use a total of four more diagonal lines to cut each of the four quadrants into three parts. This sounds way more confusing than it is--each line should run through two diagonal quadrants. Use a ruler or don't. I did and it still turned out a sloppy mess. You can label each angle inside the circle as 30° to help you remember the intention.

Anyway, now you can either label the wheel beginning with your zodiacal sign or with Aries or with Capricorn, depending on what you're trying to highlight. You can add the houses if you'd like, Aries being in the first house if this isn't your personal chart.

Or you could print one out. I did both because my first general reference try looked bad and there was no way I was brave enough to draw my own birth chart. CafeAstrology.com baby.

- Kabbalahist Tree of Life

Look, you don't have to believe in this specific break down of this specific interpretation of the universe for this to look super badass in your grimoire. Plus it's a good idea to integrate other frameworks, it'll teach you something, believe it or not.

- Mobile Altars

Okay, so this one requires the bare minimum of crafting: cut and paste. If you have a printer or can get magazines, and can cut and paste, you can do this. Stickers and stamps and washi tape are not necessary. Just go through magazines and/or creative commons websites and find ephemera (aka stuff) that reminds you of a deity and/or sacred/liminal space. You can cut, you can rip, you can overlap, you can crumple for extra texture (the more you crumple, the more quilt-like it gets). Okay, let's break it down.

Print pictures of animals, planets, herbs. Grab visual texture images like moss, lichen, sunrays, snowfall, bark, bricks, flowers. These should be biggest, go in the back-back, and should get glued down first. Next you'll probably put pictures of deity or sacred/liminal space on the fissures where the first layer elements meet. These pictures should be large, but not overwhelm the pages. Then you can stack the associations on the edges, corners, and empty spaces now left behind--it stands to reason that you want pictures of things like stones and herbs and candles and other associations to be the smallest pictures. Boom, mobile altar space. You can check my hashtag #roaen's art, for my personal examples (cough cough).

- A Full-Page Cleansing Sigil

The pentagram. Hekate's Strophalos. A sigil of your own or someone else's making. Literally a photograph of selenite or a bowl of salt you printed off at the library. Let it be a whole page big, and if drawing it yourself, use a set color palette to make it. (Good options are black, red, and light gray; brown, olive, and teal; or black, royal purple, and navy.) You can even put one on either side of two pages facing each other so that when you close the book, anything on that page is pressed between them.

- Symbol Reference Sheets

Alchemical symbols, astrological symbols, Nordic runes, the ogham alphabet, the witch's alphabet. Generally I fit three or or four symbols on a row, and I let each row be three lines of the notebook paper (dotted is my preferred, followed by grids, with lined being the suckiest; sorry if you're unlined, but if that's the case you are braver than me and probably don't need my advice). I will write the brief Meaning first, doing my best to left-align it in the column, and then I right-align the symbol. You don't have to do it this way, but here's my method if you don't want to make your own. These pages look sick as fuck, so consider spacing them out for maximum effect.

- Planetary Grids (see x)

Printing them out is easiest and neatest, but I find them more aesthetically appealing in my own hand, personally. Saturn is the default and the smallest, so start there. The Moon and Mercury will need to share their own page. Good luck, soldier.

- Your Own Personal Bind Runes and Sigils Reference Page

So this one builds on a couple other we've mentioned but is slightly different. This spread would be dedicated to recording sigils (of the planetary grid variety or of the letter kind) and bind runes (several different runes stacked into one to combine effects) as you use them for spell work. If one of them doesn't work? Just cross it out in red. Does it work especially well? Circle it in some color other than red, idc. These can be your own or someone else's, but I recommend writing down their name or @ so you can find their work in the future.

- Pressed Plants Page

Leaves, petals, whole flowers, clumps of moss, bits of birch bark. Whatever tickles your fancy, as long as you asked permission to obtain it and gave gratitude and/or offering in response. Use a napkin to surround the plant material before you press it if you want to protect the pages. Tape or otherwise adhere it to your designated page once it is sufficiently dry. This can also be used as a mobile sacred space because of the energies it will carry--like the equivalent of carrying a secluded glade in your pocket.

- Photos of your Practice

And I don't mean only pictures of altar or spell jars, though by all means include those too. I more meant photos of the trees you talk to, scans or pictures of your full moon tarot spreads--shit, pictures of the backs of your favorite decks just for funsies. Take selfies with your new stones to get to know them. Put in screenshots of the witchy playlist you've been meditating to. Scrapbook, basically. You don't have to do this often. Maybe collect things throughout the season and then make a single memories page that encapsulates all three months gone by.

Usually this will give tension to the relationship, forcing the sun person to be more action oriented. Mars is also an agressive planet so there can be clashes. I usually have more arguments with people who has my mars as their sun sign. But then in this case the two are in Libra and are both in their detriment.
