I have very vivid dreams if anyone wants to know. If they're complex enough, I can remember 2-5 I have each night.

Recently, the content of my dreams has gotten more spiritually related, but that's no surprise as my current fixation as of now is my beliefs.

With that being said, I wanted to record the most recent experience I had, if only a little part of it

I don't like it, but because of how sensitive I am about my personal beliefs, I usually keep them close to the chest; religion especially considering Luciferianism in a predominantly Christian conservative state is extremely controversial..

Any criticism or questioning of the dominant sect of faith will be immediately brushed aside or worse, mocked relentlessly as heresy.

So, in turn, I experience a lot of dreams where I'm confronted by very closed-minded people. I do my best to avoid them in real life, but I can never get away from them when they come from within my mind.

This last time was different, though.

As always, I'd be sitting in this manifestation of a church room; benches positioned aside each other and someone preaching at the very front, usually holding a Bible and raising their voice loud enough for my ears to ring.

I never liked when I was forced to attend sermons as a child; I never understood why we were never allowed to speak or move while a stranger expects our complete reverence for a figure I never really knew personally. It was just a test of how long I could sit still before I felt my bones start to ache.

In this dream, this woman was going on and on about faithfulness; about how any deviation from their teachings was pure unbridled sin.

I looked away as only an attempt to not have to watch her face twist into a passionate disgust when she spoke. But this was the first time I remember seeing anyone else like me: a girl my age sat just behind me with something clasped close to her chest. Just from reading her face, I knew she was going to provoke the preacher; it was a look of defiance but also... I guess a look familiar to how I really felt inside.

I turned away to face forward again, trying not to read into it, but as soon as I did, the girl just behind me spoke up finally. The preacher immediately went silent, an indignant expression written all over her face as this girl spoke. It was certainly surprising even to me.

All that defiance hidden deep inside my head, I heard it coming out from her voice instead; as if in my place. I just turned back around to stare almost in awe. She was so confident, so critical of everything the woman had preached; as if the punishment for blasphemy meant nothing to her.

Before the righteous woman could even find her voice again to reprimand the blasphemer, the girl threw something into my hands. It was what she was hiding in her clutch when I first saw her, but now I could see what it was she had as I looked down into my palm: it was a talisman. A talisman I hadn't recognized.

Before I could understand what was going to happen, the girl ran out of the building; before the other woman could even cast this stranger out herself. I clutched the talisman tight and ran after her. The thought of the sermon was no longer even a factor in my mind.

I just wanted to know who she was that left me this gift; this gift she had paraded in the name of an "Amon"? It was a short name that started with a long booming "Ah" sound when she said it, that i remember most clearly.

I had no idea who she was talking about, but she said it with such strength; such defiance that I had to know who it was and what this talisman was for. It was like the talisman was what gave her the aggression to even challenge the institution, and she gave it to me. Why?

By the time I was able to run from the church into cold damp woods to where she had left to, I was completely alone. Why did she lead me out here? It was drizzling rain, and the air was foggy and blue from the early sunset. She seemed to have disappeared completely before I could ask her anything more. All I could do was look down in my palms at what she had left me. I guess I had to find out the answers on my own.

I'm not sure how much of this is symbolic. Anything from the woods to the color of the strings and beads could mean something, but I don't know yet. I'll just have to do my own studying.

Mars at 29 degrees Capricorn

Mars is at the last 29th anaretic degree of Capricorn today and at the Super Bowl and for the last few days and is very strong. The Sabian symbol of it is very profound. To observe is an act of peculiar violence. In your world, its addressed with simpler terms and often considered...well, mostly harmless but is sometimes suspected to be a part in a series of dubious intent. Yet it comes in a variety of flavors and concepts that more often more readily accepted.

A lover glances upon their other, and holds the gaze. The other doesn't notice or at least pretends not to, and merely exists to the lover's quiet, innocent enjoyment. A heart fluttering breeze of an experience, truly and hardly could be considered as harm but what I'm referring to is not the implications of the event, but the initiation of it.

The stare.

The acknowledgement and focus, the way that all sound peers into deeper concentration from that particular direction.

The decision. Voluntary, involuntary, all the same.

Here...the rules are different than what they were amidst mortality. As mentioned before, this is a violence, it is an acknowledgement, a decision, an absolute declaration of action upon the world around you to observe. And every entity around you will return the favor. The wish, that decision it yields their image unto you just as it yields yours unto them. They will return the gaze and be known in whatever form they either choose or sustained upon the observations start.

Jarring isn't it. They stare in return, with a persistence that either emits annoyance, confusion, or anger, or all of these things, you can't tell - because they have no obligation to you and your earthly mind to give an explanation.

It's...limiting. When you commit to an acknowledgement, you possess an expectation, no, a perception, a chosen world view that filters information to be absorbed by what you are. As all these others have realities and concerns all their own, you've intruded into their space and afflicted upon them your insistence.

A range of possibility expands nigh infinitely with the weight of inaction - as a mortal, this concept bears no meaning since any outcome requires both observation and an action for the commit, but for these things beyond most fleshy comprehension, they gain great purchase. In the infinite array of circumstances, a tree amongst too many others appeals to the tastes of this one or that one. Such things can be absorbed simultaneously without a commit for quite a while as these find the whim to scry where they'd want their presence set best.

But the moment you see them.

There is only one.

One instance, one probability, one outcome. Whatever whim, whatever plans, whatever course of knowing changes, and the onset spreads like a vacuous wildfire.

Except...they can't always afford such a thing. So you don't see them. Except for here - kinda. This haven exists as their causeway, and for the whim to observe this violence can't be dodged. It can be returned, however, and in an odd ruse, the weight of this decision is often masked to avoid deviance. As a courtesy...

Do it again and they'll show no obligation for pleasantries.

Demon, ghost, haunting - all of these seem vaguely familiar back there on earth but here...

Well, its a usual approach. To observe and be observe, the violence is met with uncanny visage. Save that, most mortal don't comprehend the dissolution of intent. To them, intent is everything, where as...in reality it's a partial man-made construct deemed fit to exchange or maintain pleasantries.

You'll need to learn how to become a fully resolute being from here on out... the ways of your past will only cause harm here, if you hope to stay.

Just...don't think of it, and you'll be fine.

Clan Culture Illustrations

So I've been mentioning this in passing, and I think now is a good time to start collecting info from people who are interested!

I'm seeking artists who want to draw stuff for my Clan Culture series.

I often write very large guides for things like tools, ecology, medicine and treatments, etc, which then get held up by the fact that they're big blocks of text without any fun pictures. I usually collaborate with friends and family, but I could put out more quicker if I had some artists on standby.

If you're an artist who would be interested in illustrating, here's the details;

Everything I make on this blog is tailored towards WC fans, but free for anyone to use and reference for their xenofiction worldbuilding projects. You do not have to be intimately familiar with the Warrior Cats books. This offer's open to anyone above 18.

Fans of Better Bones are preferred, because Clan Culture and BB often intersect. I might ask for help with some BB stuff at some point, too. (for example i have a guide on types of StarClan spirits that needs illustration)

To re-iterate, please only inquire if you're 18+

Price range is 20 - 50 USD and turnaround time can be up to 6 months if you just keep me updated. (I am sorry that I can't offer a higher price for these, but this is coming from my own pocket. In return, this is meant to be low pressure)

Half payment upfront, the rest after completion.

I will never "assign" you a surprise mystery topic (unless you ask for that I guess?), I'll either present you with a list of posts that need illustration (yes this means you get to read stuff early), OR float some ideas that play to your strengths and interests. (for example: if I'm approached by Spider-Enjoyer-9000 who's willing to draw a ridiculous number of spiders, I will draft, write, and research a Clanmew Expansion in the style of Deer and Co or Moths and Butterflies.)

Either way, there's usually a lot of creative freedom here unless I need a specific technical drawing, which I will discuss with you and provide references for. (As an example, if we were talking about a post on declawing, I might ask for you to illustrate the muscles within the paw.)

The nature of Clan Culture means you will probably be asked to draw plants, food, objects, and/or scenery

The end art will always stay tasteful, but I might need to give you references in the form of real images or tutorials that might be upsetting if you're sensitive to these topics-- so it's important to me that I consider those four things "opt-in."

I have plenty of other posts that need illustration, it's just a huge plus if you're able to do these too.

(You should also mention any other specific triggers or phobias you have, so I don't unwittingly come at you with something else upsetting)

Nope, as long as there's pictures to break up the text, you can do sketches, black and white, flat colors, only put color in the header, etc. We'll discuss expectations with the post in front of us, and then agree on price.

I have ONE requirement; it's gotta look good on Tumblr darkmode. Because I use Dark Reader.

"Do you have a Discord?"

I do, I just try to be exclusive with who I give it to! When we're discussing details, we'll probably move over there if you'd like. This is a reason why I only want to work with 18+ artists, I'm not always SFW on main.

"Can we do an entry together about (specific topic)?"

Probably yes, so feel free to ask! The worst that will happen is that I say no, or maybe later. For example, I've got a post on Sweetness Tolerance reserved for my partner (they like to draw sweets), so I would say no if you asked.

Just keep in mind that researching, outlining, and writing is unpaid labor I'm doing completely for free. I have posts mostly done that just need art, and topics I've done some research on. Please only ask for special collaborations from scratch if you're serious 🙏

"Does it have to be digital?"

You'd have to have a WILD idea for me to say yes to anything non-digital, but I am a queer of whimsy. If you can whimsify me with an idea, hell yeah.

"Will I be compensated if you need any changes?"

Yes. If I spring anything on you after the details we agree on, I will first ask you, then ask how much that change would cost, and then compensate you for it.

As fair warning though, I am trying to stay within a budget and writing the posts themselves is unpaid work I do (plus occasional helping hands during research stages, I consulted a friend who is an irl wetlands expert for ShadowClan's environment). I can't pay more than what we agree on.

"Can I link my info in the post?"

Yes. "Guest Artist" is going to be named in the opening paragraphs, along with any fundraiser, shop info, carrd, etc, you want there.

HOW TO BANISH A SPIRIT/ENTITY

do you have a not so friendly ghost in your home? or even just a spirit who has invaded your presence? or maybe a entity whom you no longer want in your space? if so, then this is the perfect spell for you. follow each steps, and this spirit shall be no more. (it’s fine if you substitute ingredients/objects in this spell, as long as your intent is strong)

Disclaimer: (ESPECIALLY with this spell it is vital that you already know how to protect yourself using magick, and have done a protection spell before this. also if you feel intuitively that you should swap some ingredients that’s fine too! you don’t have to follow the exact way I preformed this spell)

BACKSTORY:

earlier this year, my sister became haunted by the presence of a spirit who was deeply attached to her and her essence. Like myself, and many other witches, i practice tarot, so ofc I did divination on this situation and steps to take to move forward. Obviously this “man” or spirit as you may call it was no good. So I successfully banished him with this spell that I’ve created. Now, it is important to note, if you know the spirit name that is powerful and could further more feed into the spell, so that the energy has a direct target. However, (like in my case) if you don’t know the spirits name that’s fine too. Just make sure the intention is strong.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

-a white sachet bag

-a piece of paper

-black pepper- to ward off negative and unwanted spirits and entities from (name) and to banish them

-cinnamon- to provide (name) with protection from unwanted spirits and entities

-rusty nails- may anyone, people, spirit or entity that attempts to inflict harm onto (name) be reversed back banefully. May these rusty nails stand for a harsh protection.

-paprika- to speed up the speed of this spell, to protect (name) from negative energy, and unwanted spirits and entities

-garlic- to ward off and BANISH any unwanted spirits and entities and negative energies

-salt- protection, neutralize negative energy, ward off unwanted spirits

- a black candle

STEP 1:

now what you’ll want to do is cleanse the space with incense. (You should use a herbal incense that corresponds with protection) and ask your spirit guides or deities/ancestors (if you work with them) to protect and guide you during this spell.

STEP TWO:

write corresponding affirmations on piece of paper such “I banish any spirit/entity from my space, home, and essence entirely. I banish thee”. Fold this paper AWAY from you, then carve banishing affirmations onto black candle. Place black candle on top of the affirmation paper. Then add said ingredients as listed above onto the candle with the intent to banish this spirit from you or (someone else’s) life. Lastly you can light this candle.

STEP THREE:

as the candle is burning, play this banishment frequency, while mediating/visualizing this spirit leaving you alone forever. Along with saying aloud corresponding affirmations to the burning candle. You can play this frequency as many times as you like or what feels right for you.

With the way evangelical and fundamentalist Tik-Tok throw around the word "demon" it's very obvious how they want you to feel when confronted with that word- Vulnerable. Helpless. Afraid.

Now I've already touched on the origin of the word "demon" on this blog but today, in terms of any and all malefic entities, I'd like to tell you something-

You are not helpless.

It's true. A malefic entity can be worrying, and bothersome, as well as inconvenient but one thing I've learned in my practice is this- malefic entities are like bears. To scare one off you simply have to convince it that you are the biggest, baddest mother fucker in the woods.

Sometimes you can do this on your own. You can throw down a circle. You can carry some iron, or silver. You can find a holy word that keeps the darkness at bay.

You can do it with help. You can call upon a god. You can summon an angel. You can even make arrangements with another demon.

If you want, you can even pray to the Saints. To the Mother Mary. To Jesus and, yes, even to God- though it certainly doesn't have to be their version.

Helpless?

Please. So many cultures haven't been practicing warding and banishment for centuries, from the mau olhado to Appalachian face jugs, just for some milk-toast, Christian influencer with a Stanley cup to tell their people they are messing with "forces beyond their understanding".
