We miss summer time and underground shows.

One thing I've done in my 30 years and several months, has been going to as many concerts and live shows as I have been able to, from big packed stadiums, to small town bars, from big time legends, to local musicians just starting out.

The most recent concert I was able to see was one I was working at as volunteer concert staff. It was a Justin Moore concert the first of this month, with 2 local opening acts.

I really love all of the genres of music that I have listened to so far. That being said, I haven't been listening to country music as much as I used to in the early 2000s. I was happy, though, because I knew many of the songs all of the bands were playing.

The concert was great overall, and the organization that puts on these concerts always treats the volunteer staff really well, especially that night when it was extremely hot and sunny outside. They kept us well fed and hydrated at no cost to us. Plus, the money goes back to the organization so they can help individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members.

Justin Moore was also amazing. He sung really well and was really nice about signing stuff for fans. The only issue was that the drunker people got, the less they followed the rules or listened to us concert staff.

Every Summer there are outdoor concerts all over the place and now that we are mostly back from the pandemic, it's time to get outside and enjoy some live music.

Sometimes a background singer hits such an amazing series of notes that you can't help but stop and listen.
