I finally finished the Game Theory video you sent me a long time ago about the Wind Waker Link. It's pretty interesting that his theory not only lines up with me constantly pointing out that Wind Waker Link is only Link because all Hylians were naming their sons Link in hopes that the hero would return but I also found it interesting and think that it totally makes sense that someone who isn't Link in a traditional sense defeating Ganondorf would actually break the curse as very telling.

By that theory the only free timeline is the one that Link was taken out of completely. And to add to his idea that Zelda should be the one to defeat Ganondorf/Ganon would actually be perfect because they are stuck in this entire mess BECAUSE of the war between Hylia and her people (who I believe were the people of Skyloft (i.e. Hylians before Hyrule was made) and Demise and his monsters who originally inhabited the Earth. I hadn't seen the end of Skyward Sword but knowing it was him who placed the curse makes sense, he was so vengeful towards Hylia that he ensured she and her faithful knight would never be free of suffering.

It's kind of awkward that Matt connected Hyrule Warriors though and stated that that's the reason we have BoTW and Tears of the Kingdom. I disagree with that, Hyrule Warriors doesn't deserve a place on the timeline and is about as relevant as Link's Crossbow Training timeline-wise.... (basically Hyrule Warriors is a spinoff of Dynasty Warriors and Gundam already made a few spinoff games of that title waay before Zelda and Fire Emblem did..) It does seem like Hyrule Warriors is also the only Zelda game (pre Breath of the Wild I guess?) where Link is officially one of Zelda's knights which makes it feel even more like a spin-off AU IMO since Link is usually thrust into the role of hero by destiny and is usually seen as just some random kid...I guess the closest exception being A Link to the Past where he's the nephew of one of Zelda's knights.

Anyway, wanted to tag you in a post with my thoughts because I didn't want to interrupt the flow of our current DMs but still wanted to let you know I finally watched it.

ଳ he swore to only keep his eyes on ume and follow his good example, but then you just had to become a distraction ଳ character; sugishita kyotarou (wind breaker) ଳ tags; floof, tsundere sugi, short fight scene, afab reader, no y/n

"You've been staring at her a lot lately huh?"

Just like that, Sugishita was snapped out of his stupor. He rarely narrowed his eyes at Ume, but if someone teased him about her... then not even Ume-chan is an exception to his grumpiness.

"No," he grunts and looks away.

Ume pats his back with a reassuring smile on his face. He said something about how it's okay to like someone because it's totally normal.

Yeah, right. Normal.

But the thing is—Sugishita's an anomaly. He's different in a way that he had never loved anyone before, let alone "liked." Some people were just not made for it and he believes himself to be one of those people. His purpose—he says—is to become stronger so that he can be someone Ume can be proud of. Even better if he could become someone that the great Umemiya Hajime could rely on.

However, he was nowhere near to attaining that. The idea of love is then out of question. He just had no time for trivial things.

It's funny though—how his mind and body are doing completely different things. A part of him doesn't want to stray from the path that Ume has carved for him, but another fuels this urge in him to simply stare at you. Admire you from afar. Because you were the most delicate thing in his eyes.

Compared to the self-assured and confident Kotoha, the new part-timer at the cafe was a bit laidback. But she was the bubbliest and friendliest person that the Furin boys have come across.

Each time they would come and visit the cafe, she'd be standing at the counter with a warm smile on her face. And once everyone has their food in front of them, she would happily listen to Ume's tales about the day's fight or Nirei's rants about the people he "observes." She'd giggle at Sakura's bashfulness and be amused by Tsugeura's enthusiasm.

She had a special talent in that she could make anyone feel at ease.

And Sugishita was sure that it would be the same thing all over again. No matter how nice or kind someone is—they'll be too intimidated to even converse with him.

But that wasn't the case with you.

He could still vividly recall how his heart skipped a beat the day he first met you. The boys had come to the cafe to wind down after a major scuffle. They had cuts and bruises all over, but they laughed as if there was no pain at all. As the newbie, you didn't know better and acted with the utmost concern.

Much to everyone's surprise, you came to Sugishita first.

"Does it hurt?" you ask, pointing at a cut on his arm.

His brows furrow and his lips press into a thin line—an obvious indicator that he is in no need of your help. But he should've known that it wouldn't be enough to push you away.

"Here," you say as you offer a band-aid to him. "Sorry, it's a bit childish with all the elephants on it, but it's all I have."

In spite of his unwelcoming demeanor, you persisted. Even the other guys around him were stunned at your resolve. But they remained quiet, wanting to see how Sugishita would react.

Sugishita sheepishly took the cute band-aid from your fingers, shoving it immediately deep into his pocket.

You smile. "You should wash that up and plaster it on as soon as possible or it'll get infected."

When he finally spares you a glance, he sees the maddeningly bright smile on your face. It almost reminded him of Ume when he annoys him.

"Thanks," he whispered. It took all of his willpower to say one syllable because he knew that there would be consequences.

Sakura piped up. "Oh, so you do know what gratitude is?"

The consequence being—a certain two-toned boy would get on his nerves.

Of course, the usual back-and-forth ensued. Sugishita got too heated up that he nearly forgot the band-aid in his pocket. When he glanced over to you again and saw how you laughed at their bickering... he swore you had done something to his forsaken heart.

He often found himself daydreaming like a kid when recalling that day. It made him happy to an extent, though he'd never admit it. But he mostly repeated the events in his head because he was trying to figure out why his heart was thumping so loud then and why he felt so nervous around you.

It bothered him to no end because he was this big hulking guy and you were... just a girl who probably wouldn't hurt a fly. He had fought guys thrice your size. Yet, here he was; scared at the thought of you sitting next to him and talking to him.

Throughout his daydream, he failed to notice that you had disappeared and went out to buy some milk for the cafe. Kotoha was busy cleaning the kitchen, so the errand was left to you.

It left Sugishita bored. He wasn't really interested in whatever they were talking about and Ume was busy eating anyway. And you were... well, he didn't know where you were. He'd rather be kicked in the shins twice than ask where you had gone.

Everything comes to a halt as they heard commotion from outside. And by the sound of it... it was you. His question was answered in the worst way possible.

"Let go of me! Stop!" you cried out desperately, but to no avail.

"C'mon, lady. We were askin' ye for some change so nicely, weren't we? Don't be a bitch and show us some kindness, will ye?"

The shady group of guys who were outside the convenience store saw you and decided to follow. So here you were, getting mugged.

Everyone in the cafe knew the situation straight away. They were all ready to jump into action, but none of them would have expected what happened next.

To put it simply, Sugishita just shot out of his seat without another word or thought. Kotoha was sure that the cafe's door would fly off the hinges with how strongly he swung it open.

His fiery stare was zeroed in on the scumbags that had you surrounded. His mind was empty except for two things: to beat these fuckers up and to save you.

He stomped over to you, the shady men becoming aware of his approaching and menacing presence.

"Watcha want, punk? Walkin' over here like a—"

The guy's sentence was left unfinished as Sugishita's fist met his face. His punch snapped and didn't waste any time slugging the rest of the men. Though they tried to fight back, they were no match for an extra aggressive Sugishita.

His senses only came flooding back when he felt a pair of arms around him. He inspected the ground below him where the men had fallen unconscious... and then he realized that you were clinging on to him like a koala.

"THAT WAS SO SCARYYYY," you cried. As you did, you squeezed him tighter. You were probably pushing his boundaries, but the adrenaline and fear got the best of you. You could apologize later for the tears that had seeped through his navy blue cotton shirt.

And normally, he would push you away, but strangely—it felt... really good. His hands hovered in the air, unsure of what to do with them. He helplessly looked around. But as he turned his gaze back at the cafe, he saw the boys and Kotoha watching them from a distance.

They were smiling and snickering, flashing a thumbs up at Sugishita for saving the day.

When it finally sank in—he was in a state of catharsis. He still couldn't put a finger on what it was that he was feeling. But all he knew was that he liked your warmth and that you still made him insanely nervous.

To some extent, it was like his eyes were opened to a world never seen before. And you were the key to that hidden realm.

He gulped and slowly placed a hand on your head, gently stroking it albeit he was shaking. Was it from punching too hard or was it because of you? He wasn't sure.

Buuuut, maybe Ume was right about this being totally normal.

Bofurin First Years at a Haunted House 👻✨

I’ll probably do the second and third years together in the next one

Sakura isn’t scared of most of it, but instinct has him wanting to either dodge a hit that’s not going to come or lunge forward when something jumpscares him. He’s normally in the front, especially if he’s with his friends. 

He’s not really a fan of the whole flashing lights or total darkness stuff, but he sees it as a challenge and certainly isn’t going to back out if everyone else is going. Nirei clings to his back, and there’s a lot of tripping and cursing.

Nirei, as I said, is clinging on for dear life, one hand firmly grasping Sakura’s hoodie and the other wrapped around Suo’s arm. Practically jumps onto Sakura’s back when the chainsaw comes from behind everyone.

He’s exhausted by the end of it, but he’s kind of masochistic as he finds a pamphlet for another haunted house a few days later and drags everyone to it all over again. 

The type to run away trying to drag one of his friends with him but he grabs the actor’s hand instead

Suo is fine with it. This doesn’t scare him- much. When he does get scared though, you’d only be able to tell by his grip tightening just a bit on Nirei’s arm, though Nirei’s too busy being scared to notice. He’s entertained watching Sakura jump though.

He’s often trying to soothe Nirei or making comments about the actors that make them go “what’s this guy’s deal?” when he’s admiring the decor or someone’s makeup

Kiryu suffers most if he’s stuck between Nirei and Tsugeura, both boys pushing and pulling and screaming when anything remotely scary happens. He’s played plenty of horror games so this stuff usually doesn’t make him react. 

He’s actually really interested in the props and effects, taking pics of the showstoppers or actors when allowed. 

Tsugeura is scared as shit even though he’s big and definitely strong enough to protect himself. He refuses to go first or last, leaving him somewhere in the middle with Nirei, scaring each other by their combined jumpiness even if there's no actor or prop currently jumping out.

Sugishita doesn’t want to be here obviously. He has to wear one of those glow in the dark necklaces so the actors know not to touch him, lest there be an incident.

He follows behind everyone, but gets pissed off when he keeps bumping into the low ceilings and Tsugeura’s back when the group stops suddenly.

 I think he actually ends up freaking a decent amount of the monsters out. The grumpy sugi stare combined with his hair in his face in partial darkness leaves one of them jerking back and breaking character

d - danger: how do they react to finding out the other person is in trouble? (i should so talk about wb here but like... actually nvm let me talk about wb HAHAHHA)

togame 'you touched her so i kill you' jo...... he receives the news while he's at the ori and his face turns dark. like even choji pauses to look at togame like 'hey bro, u ok?' and he's all quiet and scary as he gets up to leave, hands stuffed into his pockets, and it doesn't take him very long to find me backed into a dark alley, stuck with some very unintelligent fellows (THIS IS SO CLICHE I'M SORRY HAHAHAHA) but i'd like to think that i'm holding my own very well, like slapping away them away and telling them off, and i see him and i'm like 'oh shit- you all need to get away from here' and they're laughing at me like what is he gonna do and i'm like 'oh no...' he walks up to me, cradling my face, turning it this way and that, and checking for any bruises. and the men are still laughing amongst themselves, trying to put a hand on his (togame's) shoulder like 'didn't even get to touch her pretty face, don'—' and gets interrupted by a flying punch that definitely broke some things. and togame is all like 'keep your fucking hands to yourself.' all cold (but also soooo hot alsdfjalsdkfj)

I'M NOT EXPLAINING THIS RIGHT BUT BASICALLY HE WOULDN'T ENGAGE IN THE TROUBLEMAKERS, just checking to make sure i'm okay and unhurt, but if they try anything while he's there... ooh... not a very bright moment lol (head in hands, i want him i want him i want him omg T-T)

and if i find out that togame is in trouble? girl (gn) hold my boba. ofc i'm not worried about togame because he's very very strong and capable :3 BUT that does not mean i am not going to just sit back and watch from the sidelines (i'm pretty capable myself too >:D) and i can just imagine his smug smile and his face is literally screaming 'yeah, that's my girl' (FALLING TO MY KNEES.)

okay this is a little funny and also a fic idea that mothe (@planetxiao) and i had but i'm going to make it selfship lore (sorry mothe T-T): so sakura, when he first meets me, gets a nosebleed. and it's not anything like perverted or anything, he was literally just dead tired due to some like bofurin stuff or something and it was purely just poor timing HAHAHA but i did not know that and neither did the group he was with (suo, nirei, kiryu, and tsuge i think would suffice, maybe even sugi??) so they're flaming him (poor baby HAHHA) like 'sakura-kun... do you have something you need to tell us?' 'sakura-san, i- i didn't think- oh my god!' 'wow, sakura!' 'hm, so that's your virtue...' and we blush profusely. me because i think he's into me (and we all know how insanely attractive he is) and him because he's so embarrassed to have gotten a nosebleed and not being able to live it down. anyways this whole thing gets resolved and i develop a huge crush on him and yeah :3

Saichi held back tears as he shook you almost violently.

“Please, please wake up.” He begged. “You’re all I have. I-I can’t lose you too.”

You had taken a bullet for him, although him and the others tried desperately to patch you up it was no use and soon you went limp in the arms of you lover.

Saichi held you close to him, letting a few stray tears fall down his cheeks. Your dog came up and licked your face, whining a little bit. Saichi scratched him behind the ear for some kind of comfort.

“Sugimoto… we-“ Asirpa started.

“I know. Just. Give me a few minutes.”

They had a makeshift funeral for Sugimotos sake and continued on their journey, your dog following close behind.

The dog had never been too fond of anybody but you, so it was surprising to everyone that it decided to stay close by.

“That dog… it’s trailing behind us.” Asirpa said.

“Yeah. I don’t mind, it’s comforting in a way.” Sugimoto wouldn’t get too close as the dog was never fond of him, even biting him at one point. But knowing how much the dog meant to you he was happy to keep it around.

Once it grew dark the group stopped and started a fire, the dog hesitant made its way over to Sugimoto, laying against his leg.

“Look at that!” Shiraishi smiled. “That things kinda cute when it’s not growling at everyone.”

Although he agreed Sugimoto remained silent. He placed a hand on the dogs head, giving him a gentle scratch. The dog looked up at him, a pitiful look in its eyes.

“You miss them too, don’t you bud?”

The dog whined. It licked at his hand and Sugimoto could help but let a single tear fall down his cheek. Despite him and the dog never really getting along, it was comforting in a way that they had each other to lean on.

Sugimoto was deep in thought when he heard a twig snap somewhere in the woods behind him.

“Sugimoto.” Asirpa whispered, “did you hear that?”

Sugimoto jumped up from his seat, the dog followed his lead and positioned itself in front of him. It let out a low growl, warning whatever was out there to back off. Sugimoto couldn’t help but smile, he knew whatever it was- he’d be able to handle it. But knowing your dog had his back brought him a sense of security he hadn’t had since you died.

A large figure slowly stepped out of the darkness and towards the group. A man dressed in all black held up a gun towards Sugimoto.

“You. Empty your pockets.” He demanded. Sugimoto reached for a weapon when without warning the dog lunged forward and bit the man’s leg. He cried out and called onto his back.

Sugimoto whistled and called the dog back. “Good boy.” He laughed softly.

“You asshole.” The man barked, struggling to get to his knees. “You are you’re dumb mutt will pay for that!” He pointed his gun at the dog, hand shaking slightly as he got ready to pull the trigger.

Sugimoto saw red and grabbed the man’s wrist tightly, he threw the man down on the ground and kicked his gun to Asirpa who picked it up for safe keeping.

“You’ve got 10 seconds to get out of here, before I change my mind and kill you.” He said coldly.

The man got back and limped away grumbling back to his own camp.

Sugimoto kneeled down and scratched the dog behind the ears “are you hurt, boy?” Asking as if it could respond.

“I didn’t expect him to attack that guy, what a beast!” Shiraishi laughed. He reached out the pet it but it growled and nipped his finger.

“I don’t think it likes you very much.” Sugimoto said. The dog crawled up into his lap. It curled up and quickly dozed off. The dog wasn’t small, it was a bit heavy and sat awkwardly but Sugimoto wasn’t about to complain. Besides it’s wasn’t so bad, he could get used to this.

Sunshine - SasuHina Month Day 11

A little late on my end but I didn't get a chance to work on this until later in the day. Anyway, I got inspired by the world of The Last Empress, the K-Drama, which is really good if you haven't seen it, though I'll admit, the way we say goodbye to one of the characters kills me, it's so badly done. but regardless, really good show. Also a little inspired by Morgan & Garcia's first meeting when he calls her 'babygirl'. I just had to.

 “Excuse me Hyata.” Sasuke furrowed his brow as the woman focused on what she was doing, not even turning around. “Hey sunshine!”

That caught her attention, as well as those around them. She turned, a slight smile on her face. “Sunshine?”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean, I was just-”

“I’ve had worse nicknames. What can I do for you?”

The Chief Imperial Guard and the Imperial Head Secretary. Both worked under the order of the emperor, King Uzumaki Naruto, keeping him safe and focused. But everyone within the castle knew that there was something brewing between the two.

“The Royal Bazaar will include the annual auction, and the family is asked to have items to sell during then. Princess Karin will arrive on Thursday before the event and will be picked up by security and guards that Chief Uchiha handpicked.”

“Is Suigetsu on the team?”

“He was the only one still standing when that attack happened. Had it not been for him, the Princess may have been killed. The Chief decided that mattered more than the Princess getting slightly insulted by his demeanour.” Hinata reminded.

“Fine by me, I was going to tell you to make sure he was on the team. What about Gaara and the others?”

“King Gaara and the royal family have confirmed they’ll arrive the morning of. Ambassador Nara will be the one to bring them over.”

“And the guest list?”

“Will be finalized by this afternoon when the deadline is up. I’ll have it to you after dinner.”

“Excellent. Is that everything?”

“Yes sir.” 

“Dismissed then.”

Hinata bowed her head and headed to the door, the guards on the other side opening it as she got close. She nodded to them as she headed down the hall, gaze focused on the phone in her hand, her iPad tucked under her arm. Her list was long and growing with each new issue they ran into. She was going to have to redivide the tasks to her assistants and the maids. She wondered if she’d be able to get a few of the guards to help with the heavy items. She didn’t notice someone staring at her through the sugi decorative window that sat in the middle of the wall. Not until they grabbed her arm and tugged her around the corner.

Any noise she made was eaten up by firm lips pressed against hers. They got hold of her hands before she could react, tugging them to pull her closer as her lips were nipped.

“N-not here!” she whispered, pulling away to see if anyone was coming, her eyes fluttering when the lips moved to her cheek and ear. “Sasuke!”

“Relax Sunshine. I’ve got the guards stationed in place for five minutes. We’ve both got to-do lists taller than either of us, so come on. Bet I can get you off in less.”

Flushing at the crude remark, Hinata was tempted to push the Imperial Guard away, but she knew both the schedules were going to be insane.

“You’ve got two minutes, but keep in mind I have a meeting with the kitchen staff. Do not make me kill you later for this.”

Sasuke smirked, kissing her again as he pushed her to the corner where they wouldn’t be seen. He was going to make this time count.

Sunshine. He called her that on her first day because of the sunflower pin she wore in her hair. She learned quick that hair accessories were better left for days off or when you knew you wouldn’t be attacked but it was also the air about her, she had. She’d been focused, working as contact point the first time, they met but she was so approachable and kind to those around her, even with the level of stress during the situation. Everyone gravitated to her, like she was the sun. it felt fitting, after learning her name, Hinata.

They got along well, worked off of each other and kept the staff together when the Emperor was too busy to check on everyone. They became the ones who made sure to keep him safe wherever he left the castle, be it physically or reputation wise. They were lucky, he didn’t do anything that got him into trouble and his own approachableness made the country love him, which usually left the two with time to themselves.

“I didn’t realise the Uchiha family was responsible for protecting the royal family.” Hinata said, the one time they took a break and had drink with the Emperor joining the cast and crew of a play he’d gone to see that evening.

“Not for a few years. We got blamed for an incident which wasn’t even our fault, so all Uchiha were removed from duty and sent out. I applied for the guard exam under a different name and was the last one standing. When people don’t pay attention to you because they think you can’t amount to anything, you get the chance to show them who you are. The last Chief was embezzling funds, among other things and – hey, keep your distance! I can kick your ass so he doesn’t have to!” he called to a rather handsy cast member who back off. “Point his royal annoyingness decided to take a chance and put me in charge. And I haven’t failed him yet. And I don’t plan to. What about you? why did you decide to take the secretary exam?”

“My family was under the impression that I would amount to nothing and in a fit of anger, I sent in my application. When I was told, I’d be allowed take the exam, I decided to just go for it. the worst that could happen was that I would fail, but at least I would have gotten farther than any other family member. I scored within the top 20. I was only one point off at 21.”

“And here you are a year later practically the Emperor’s right hand. Cheers, to proving people wrong.” He said, lifting his glass, smiling at Hinata as she touched his glass to his.

“Cheers to proving we’re better than they ever thought.”

When protecting their charge wasn’t the main priority, he was usually protecting her. The Emperor’s great aunt, Queen Dowager Kaguya was constantly trying to kill her nephew to assume control of the country. With people who would give up their lives for him, it usually resulted in her trying to take them out first. Since Sasuke and Hinata were able to figure her out, they were usually the main targets. It caused them to spend a lot of time together, more so under the King’s orders. Hinata didn’t worry as much, not seeing the danger, at least not until she was accused of causing the death of a well-loved handmaid – which the Emperor knew not to be true, even if it cause a down spike of supporters – and the maid’s son tried attacking her at a book reading. With a brick in hand, he managed to brake past the barriers as the royal family was leaving and head right for Hinata, who was behind them. Sasuke had been farther from her, but he managed to grab her, spinning her away from the son, taking the full brunt force of the brick. He was in the hospital for at least 2 weeks after.

“You can’t do that again.” She ordered once he woke up, passing the mental test. “We’re supposed to work together, so you can’t get hurt for me.”

“Sorry Sunshine, that part I won’t be able to follow. Care about you too much.”

“All the more reason! You think I like seeing you hurt? I care about you too. So don’t you dare leave me alone to deal with her.”

It became obvious to those who watched just how deep their relationship grew after that. If anything, they had the Dowager to thank for the final step. Who knew framing one person for murder would end up gaining that person a lover?

“I thought the shoot was scheduled for later this week. You can’t tell me the photographer was booked solid. This is the Emperor and his kids, you know, the ones who aren’t even in the public eye as much since after the divorce?”

“The king didn’t divorce his wife, she left him.” Hinata reminded as she walked with Sasuke and the rest of the guards on staff for the Royal Bazaar. They were supposed to be escorting the Emperor to Bazaar with the rest of the royal family, including those who flew in, but Hinata just told them different. He was set up to do a photoshoot with his kids, Boruto and Himawari with a magazine photographer. It had been one that Hinata herself had scheduled but somehow the date and time was pushed up. Something was up and the Dowager’s sudden absence didn’t help calm them any.

“Call the guards with the Emperor. Tell them to get him back here in time for the auction. She can’t try something with this many witnesses and guards.” Hinata ordered, Sasuke switching to the different radio channel. Taking a deep breath, she put on a smile as she reached the green room that had been made for the royal family. “Greetings, members of the royal family. The Emperor has a small prior commitment but I’ll escort you to the auction room.”

“Of course, he has to make an entrance.” Princess Karin scoffed, getting up. “Let’s get this over with.”

The doors were opened by the guards, Sasuke on the other side, leading the rest of the group to bow. His usual men were joined by King Gaara’s and the few Princess Karin took around with her. As the royal family left the room, Hinata and Sasuke exchanged glances. Their guard had to be up.

The royal family were greeted by guests, mingling as time grew later.

“We’re going to have to start soon.” Sasuke whispered. “People are starting to get anxious.”

“Did they find anything?” she asked, watching the mix of guards slip back inside the room.

“Nothing. I still don’t trust this. I called the guards, there was confusion about the start time, the Emperor is only now leaving.”

Hinata eyes widened. “How? There’s no way that was mixed up, I left the schedule on his desk.” then it hit her. “Her handmaid has been oddly helpful during set up, hasn’t she?”

“They already have orders to get him down here now. He knows something’s up, sent the kids with their guards to stay at the mall the shoot is happening. With so many witnesses, she can’t risk hurting them there.”

“Get their guards to get them to agree to do a stream.”

“Already done Sunshine. Apparently, you’re not allowed to watch because it’s a present for you.”

With the stress of everything, the knowledge that the heirs of the kingdom followed her like ducklings always made her smile. She squeezed Sasuke’s fingers, sharing a look with him before she moved to stand on the stage.

“Welcome everyone to the annual Royal Bazaar. We welcome the guests to this event and of course the members of the royal family who have joined us today. They’ve very kindly added their own items to the lists, so if you could please take your seats, Ambassador Nara and I will lead the auction.”

With Hinata and Shikamaru running the auction, the two took turns describing the items for sale and it was just her luck she’d gotten the clock. She put her hand on the item and it radiated heat from the wiring inside. If it wasn’t for Sasuke’s quick mind once he’d seen Hinata’s reaction and his reaction thereafter, she would have been dead from the blast. As far as he currently knew, she had bumps and bruises, though a rather nasty cut on her forehead but no concussion and mild hearing loss, though Tsunade seemed to think that would recover. Sasuke barely got away with any scratches at all. He wasn’t even insulted when he ran in to find Sasuke rushing out with Hinata in his arms, demanding he get out of the way.

“Said she didn’t want to stay where she was easily reached. You gonna do something about that aunt of yours? Her delicate sensibilities are pulling me from actual important work. Besides, your Chief Guard is with her.”

Naruto nodded to himself. That part wasn’t surprising. He could be pretty oblivious but when Sasuke arrived back to work after recovering from the blow to the head, he was able to tell from the looks on their faces the minute they were in the same room.

He turned to his own guards, announcing they were going to check on Hinata before dealing with the rest of everything else. His usual entourage followed, servents bowing as he passed them by until he got to the wing of the castle Hinata lived with other high-level staff. Hinata had won the room lottery and gotten her own suite, similar to the ones the royal families had. One of the servants opened the door and he quietly walked in. the room was dark, glittering lights from the star light Sasuke hung outside her window the main source of light. His eyes adjusted and he opened the door to the bedroom, only to stop at the sight of Sasuke getting up from his seat by the bed. He watched Hinata move, grabbing his fingers, whispering something. Sasuke dropped his trench coat he held on the ground before retaking his place in his seat. Naruto just saw Sasuke press his lips against her hand. He decided that he didn’t need to check on them. Sasuke would protect Hinata from anything that came through her doors. He wondered if Kaguya knew exactly who she was dealing with?

Tbh I feel like Sugimoto's nemesis wasn't even take him serious. I mean if we put him and Usami in front of Ogata, Ogata'll immediately shoot Usami. So cheering for Sugi on his path to get revenge wasn't even that fun. Not to mention Sugi vs Tsuru, Tsurumi's enemy is his past and he saw remnant through Asirpa. So Sugi is just a stand-in, their fight is fun in a sense of seeing some action but on a goosebumps level? "You're responsible for all of this, Wilk." easily take the crown.

It's a shame. He supposed to be a co-protagonist with Asirpa but he just so faded...

Thinking about it, I liked Sugimoto best when the series began. He was grumpy, had post war mental issues, he'd kill anyone on sight, just unfiltered overall. I also liked him throughout the Karafuto arc. He was so fun when he was interacting with different characters other than Asirpa.

But, yeah. Sugimoto truly was used as a bodyguard and his relevance as a main characters started to dwindle.

About the Ogata scene, I'm honestly not sure if Ogata did see him through the window. I think it was just a tease to give readers the sense of how on edge the whole sequence is. Cause after he shoots, we don't even see Sugimoto react to the noise of the shot considering that it was super near him.

If Ogata did see him through the window, I don't think he'd shoot Sugimoto. Not because I'm a filthy Sugio shipper but Ogata didn't give me the impression that he really intended on killing him. They fought on top of a train and he had a 100% chance of killing Sugi in one shot right there when he was pinned by the bear but he didn't do it.

Oh and remember when Kikuta told Tsurumi that "vagrant boy will take you down"? It was Noda's way of giving Tsurumi the motivation in killing off Sugimoto but in the end Tsurumi still felt like he had bigger beef with Asirpa and her dad rather than Sugimoto throwing punches at him as you said lol.

The Index Project today unveils the statuette for Index Award 2021, designed by architect Morten Emil Engil and brought to life by premium Danish furniture manufacturer Brdr. Krüger. Embodying The Index Award’s spirit of celebrating design that improves quality of life, the statuette is made from sustainably-sourced red elm and draws on Brdr. Krüger’s 135-year heritage in Danish design, resulting in an environmentally-positive artefact that shines through its beautifully simplicity.

Awarded to five designers every other year since its inception in 2005, The Index Awards’ mission is to ‘design to improve life’, seeking to promote design solutions to social, environmental and economic problems. Cut from sustainable wood from Denmark and its neighbouring countries, each statuette is milling-engraved with the logo and winner’s name, as opposed to embossing or plating. Instead of using harmful chemicals to varnish the wood, the team employed the ancient Japanese preservation method of Shou Sugi Ban. Originating thousands of years ago, the technique involves charring the wood surface to render it a deep charcoal-black, a natural way of protecting the material. This method complements the traditionally Danish refined and minimalist design approach, imbuing the statuettes with a strong sense of craftsmanship. As a living material that reacts to heat by expanding and contracting, wood has the potential to crack under extreme heat, a natural imperfection that makes each trophy beautifully unique. The statuettes are finally coated in clear linseed oil, creating an entirely naturally-derived artefact for this year’s winners to cherish.

Morten Emil Engel, architect, commented: “Not only is wood a naturally sustainable material, it actually absorbs CO2 as it grows. Finished reading Koi wo shiranai bokutachi wa 36. The chapter started off where chapter 35 ended. 

Highlights for me:

- This chapter should be called ‘How to push away Eiji 101’ lol

- On start of chapter, Eiji realizing that the kiss is the same scenario where he kissed Izumi using his instincts.

- We can really tell that Koharu just wanna get out of there to avoid Eiji

- Eiji getting jealous when Koharu mentions Taka’s name

- But yeah I pity Eiji here like he is being cockblocked by Koharu

- I can certainly feel Eiji’s confusion on his feelings. He can’t point out exactly what he wants to say. 

- So in his confusion, he just blurted out one of the things he want to say to her which is Koharu is cute. Which is also a good surprise attack....maybe I should use this also as a surprise attack in rl

- Koharu, caught off guard on that. Funny thing is, it took her a while to realize what he said. You can tell also that she is suppressing her emotions before she covers her face.

- Woohoo Koharu being vulnerable is good to see. I laughed out loud at this part. It doesnt help that Eiji thought that he hit a jackpot that Koharu’s reacted strongly on what he said. I like that Eiji easily read her or noticed her flustered behavior

- So yeah Koharu walks away again to hide her emotions. Please don’t run away anymore Koharu.

- But oh boy, we can see that she really wants Eiji. She wants to be spoiled by him. But yeah seeing Ikezawa greatly convinced her that she should not be loving Eiji :(

- Maaaannn, Naohiko is such a brother. Thanks to him Eiji realized what feelings he is experiencing for Koharu right now and his feelings for her back then.

- The Summer festival where it all started... I always thought that was the pinnacle moment of Eiji and Koharu. The spark that has been made there is goes way beyond deeper than Eiji’s feelings about Nao and Izumi at that time.

- I hope somebody assumes/notice sooner that Koharu is inlove with Eiji! Please anyone... before she destroys herself

- Back to Koharu. She is now determined to shut down her feelings for Eiji I think. This made Koharu now do drastic measures.. even considering on dating Sugi? Did i read that right?

- Shiosaki please stay by her side always. Koharu certainly needs someone right now :(

- Ok another way to shut her feelings for Eiji is to help Ikezawa to be loved by Eiji. Seeking help from Taichi well is a good way to it and I laughed at how Ikezawa called it as strategy meeting when she accidentally overheard it

-  Koharu, convincing Ikezawa is a Gold moment. It’s like she is convincing herself...

- Rejoice EijixIkezawa shippers. Koharu is confirmed to be a shipper of this ship too. She will see to it that this ship will be sailed... until Eiji will jump off the ship.

Future predictions on Saezuru

SO, since we're not getting Saezuru this month, I have a thread of points on what may happen:

1. We'll see how Doumeki is doing. We may see how Tsunakawa praises Doumeki for being a loyal subordinate. There could be a point in time he'll ask him about what Amou never told him.

Perhaps, of course, we'll see some flashbacks on how Doumeki took Nanahara's words on how Yashiro has forgotten only him..but who knows, little by little his memory may progress. Good thing is Yashiro is only flirting with men and not getting involved with them...well except Inami

2. There may be a point in time some meeting will be held on how things are and how things will be in the near future. We'll get to see Ryuuzaki and how his condition is. Yashiro would probably make jokes of him of course and learn that Hirata stabbed him.

Crossing paths, Yashiro or Doumeki will see each other first. I would say Yashrio would react in a bit of a shock and some kind of headache comes in...meaning I guess his memory would try and kick in as soon as he sees Doumeki's face. Doumeki will try and figure out what's going on, but Tsunakawa would ask him "what's wrong?" And he himself will figure out if Doumeki knows Yashiro.

3. So as weeks go by, Yashiro's memory of Doumeki starts to improve and realizes the man he crossed paths with was the man who confessed to him. Namahara and Sugi will soon realize his behavior and ask him who was the man he was with. Both of the guys wouldn't really know at the time, but Sugi would probably say "perhaps a new boss he's working under".

So in a time being alone, Yashiro sits in his apartment after a shower or so. He gets some text from Inami asking him about the next time he'll come over. He texts something a places his phone down.

So deep in thought he hears voices of what Nanahara and Sugi asks him about remembering Doumeki and what happened before he was knocked out. Words from Doumeki slowly came back "I will be boss's arms and legs" causing him to be in complete shock and what Sugi said about the guy he was with...which causes him to start shedding tears, perhaps realizing why he isn't with him at that moment. At the end of the chapter he'll say "....you're suppose to be with me" or "...you're suppose to be by my side".

Takasugi Shinsuke

Shinsuke actually gets annoyed very easily irritated and while he’s normally good at hiding it, he does let his guard down more around his s/o. Meaning that he will react in the same way he reacts to Gintoki but a bit more playful

 Like I said, he’s easily irritated so teasing him about pretty much anything is going to annoy him at least a little 

We already know that his height is a sensitive subject 

If they point out how edgy is he that will also annoy him if they keep going on about it. He knows he’s edgy okay

He will also get annoyed if his s/o uses something and leaves it laying around rather than putting it back where it belongs 

Sakata Gintoki

Tease him about his love for Ketsuna Anna and he will immediately become defensive 

If they keep nagging him about how many sweets he eats or tell him that it’s bad for his health he will become instantly annoyed

Please, whatever you do, do not make fun of his curls

Gin is pretty laid-back so he doesn’t get annoyed by much
