China's stage actor from the Hetalia stage play!

Also, fun fact, if you look up Taishi Sugie (China's stage play actor) on Pinterest, it will assume you mean sushi. And yes, I learnt that from experience.

The new musical will be live for the following dates and locations:

Tokyo - June 9th to June 26th - Nippon Seinenken Hall

Osaka - July 3rd to July 6th - Cool Japan Osaka WW Hall

Fukushima - July 18th to July 19th - Kenshin Koriyama Cultural Center (Koriyama Cultural Civic Center)

The show will be directed by Kotaro Yoshitani and the script will be by Naruse Yusei!

Kiyotaka week prompt 4: lookalike

I had no idea what to do for this one. I decided to draw what I think the sprites would look like if, instead of the stage plays being based on the video game, the video was made based on the stage play.

Kiyotaka was played by Manpei Takagi in 2014 and Taishi Sugie in 2016. I don't know if it's his resting face or something he's doing on purpose but Sugie always seems to be smiling slightly in the images I found of him as Taka so I tried to capture that. Also, both their medals are bigger and their eyebrows are different. Takagi's eyebrows fade out as they get to the hairline whereas Sugie has thick black ones that are shorter.

About the stage:

‘In the near future, the entire world is involved in the Third World War. Yamato, who was already an ally of Unite, will become a complete dominated country by the Unite. We have been given only a loose domination. One of the few recognized freedom is Trans. Thus, people can freely choose their gender, abandoning the gender they were born with. By doing so, they obtained powers that surpass normal human abilities. There are various abilities, but those who commit crimes using them also emerged. Fear, envy, hostility, worship...Having mixed feelings, people call those ability users Heli-X.’

Action Stage 「Helios Rising Heroes」  2 has finally revealed its visual!

Here's the promotion movie.

Story.

Following the 13th generation's entrance ceremony, the new heroes, the rookies Junior and Faith, are assigned to the West Sector.

However, as per the mentor leader Brad's wish the two are put into an unusual team with only one mentor. Furthermore, their mentor, Keith, has no motivation to teach the two newcomers and leaves them to themselves. Junior wants to be transferred because he is dissatisfied with the team's lack of motivation, while Faith doesn't seem to have a care in the world. Instead of improving teamwork, the gap grows wider. Meanwhile, the gear that connect the past and the present begins to move due to an incident caused by Eclipse.
