“Noa Argamani was treated well!”
She was kept as a hostage slave in a wealthy family’s apartment, forced to clean it whenever they knocked without warning, for EIGHT MONTHS. Just because they fed her does not mean she wasn’t a hostage and a slave. Her mother also has terminal cancer and was afraid she was never going to see her again.
If you start justifying human rights abuses against women, Jews, and Asians (she is half Chinese) because they are Israeli, you were never against antisemitism, misogyny, or wanted to stop Asian hate.
You can support both Palestinian and Israeli civilian lives.

Btw movements like lgbt rights, stop Asian hate, blm, free Palestine, etc are NOT some quirky aesthetic and people needs to stop grouping it into things like it is
Genuinely seen Pinterest post making fun of “fake goth” and on the fake goth side there’s a sticker of one of these movements and the only thing I have to say is fuck off.

it’s honestly really embarrassing seeing so many people suddenly go quiet after campaigning to hell and back for every other social justice cause under the sun lol. especially the black, brown, and lgbt community. i see who isn’t saying anything despite being vocal about everything else, and i have no words for y’all besides grow up and grow a pair

Hey, pro tip for allies of marginalized groups(any kind of marginalized group, queer, disability, race- anything)
If someone is describing how they had a sucky experience bc of whatever marginalized group they're a part of- that is not the time to say something like "oh I've never had that problem!" Or "this solution always fixed it for me!"
Maybe your intentions are good. Like, genuinely trying to help.
But what comes across is; I, as an ally, know more about this problem that you, the marginalized person, have experienced.
Or maybe your intentions were more
"I will feel good after helping this poor marginalized person, which should be easy, bc that problem never was a big deal for me!"
than you consciously realized.
PS one thing all allies ought to educate themselves on is which problems are the kind of problems where it's best to offer sympathy and a listening ear, and move on, versus which ones you can use your privilege to help with. There's a difference between venting about a problem vs actually seeking help and support.

Dear trans people,
Please do not let the state of the world right now put you into a state of despair and hopelessness. Trans people have always survived and will continue to survive. Do what you need to do to stay safe and alive. Seek out what makes you happy. Focus on your mental and physical health if you can.
I want this message to reach all trans people. This message is not just for thin, white trans people who pass well and can afford to medically transition (although it is for them, too). This message is for trans people of color with specific, intersectional struggles that white trans people do not face. This message is for trans people who do not pass and cannot use public restrooms. This message is for trans people that are currently living in unsafe areas such as U.S. red states. This message is for Palestinian trans people who are being bombed as we speak. This message is for closeted trans people who must hide who they are for safety. This message is for mentally and/or physically disabled trans people. This message is for psychotic and schizospec trans people who are disproportionately affected by violent crimes. This message is for poor trans people who cannot afford basic amenities like food, water, and shelter, let alone adequate medical care. This message is for homeless trans people, some displaced by their own families who refuse to accept them. This message is for suicidal trans people who are considering taking their own life. This message is for all the trans people who are overlooked, underappreciated, and undervalued.
This message is for you.
Survive. Live. Thrive.
