It’s getting harder and harder to want to keep going. It’s getting impossible to see a future where I can be happier than I am. I have everything I want and I’m still not happy or fulfilled. I’m lonely and I want to do drugs all the time. I don’t want to work full time. I don’t want to go to school. I don’t want to have kids. I keep doing nothing and wanting to quit. Are my goals even fucking getting me anywhere?? I get a degree and then what? My depression just gets worse. Like my husband. I am struggling to see the point. It even feels like everyone feels the same way. No one can help because everyone has their own bullshit to deal with. I haven’t gone to class in over a week and this isn’t even the first time I’ve skipped that much this semester. I feel like I can’t tell anyone just how bad I’m doing because I don’t wanna trauma dump and hurt people who are doing fine. So I typed up this rant. And I’m posting just to scream into the void. I’m sorry

its so fun how dems have the house senate and presidency and we're still getting told every day to vote away our problems like. we did that. we got The Good Guys probably more power than they've had in a long time and what have they done with it? how has a democratic majority throughout the entire federal government benefitted us? we did everything we as citizens are supposed to, we put our ballots in, we called our representatives, we mailed our congressmen, against all odds we managed to secure the presidential election for probably the least promising candidate the democrats have ever presented, and what do we have to show for it? the same old pandemic, the same old voter suppression, the same old corrupt police forces tearing through the same black communities MLK fought for, except now they have even bigger budgets. hate to say it but maybe voting isn't the answer anymore, maybe there are more direct solutions to these problems.
