Gonna take one of my rats to be put to sleep tomorrow, then gonna rehome my two senior girls. Caring for them has been very stressful lately and vet bills are so crazy expensive and with the price of everything else in the world I just don't think I can keep rats rn. I'm hoping that I'll have a better paying job come 2027 so maybe I can try having pets again then. I'm really bummed about it tbh
