okay hehe thoughts time....

i have been seeing posts about dreams and sleep and i've been reluctant to reblog this sort of thing to my selfship blog and tag it as stu, because i'm torn of his sleeping habits. if this makes sense. because i can see him on both ends of the spectrum of thing. so maybe it really does fluctuate, but that doesn't seem as fun. i can see him as being an insomniac and having to watch like 3-4 movies before he can call asleep or maybe even have to call someone and yap or listen to them speak before he knocks out. and i can also see the same with sleeping like a rock, like falls asleep during movies and drools everywhere. and also does not fucking wake up if someone pushes him around cause he's being drooly and gross. and same with dreams! i can see him dreaming this huge massive dreams and even just going back to sleep to experience more of it. or he could rarely dream and when he does, they're nightmares that shake him up enough that he needs help getting to sleep next. because even if he is a murderer, he's still sensitive, he said it himself.

i dunno! i'm torn between this and i'd like to know your thoughts about it :]

this is funny bc im somehow all 4 of these types of sleepers and a stu kinnie 😭😭

anywaysss i imagine stu would be a mix of heavy sleeper and insomniac. he will not be able to fall asleep until 3am at earliest, sometimes he'll not sleep at all and just go about his day like normal, but once he does fall asleep he's dead to the world. you can shake him, yell at him, move him around, you can play loud music, the fire alarm can go off, there could be a severe thunderstorm, basically anything and he'll sleep away. this doesn't necessarily mean he sleeps a lot, he'd probably sleep 3 or 4 hours on average before waking up again until he goes into like severe sleep debt and then it's 14-20 hours of sleeping and nobody can wake him up.

as for dreams, i think he'd have a mix of both. he doesn't dream often but when he does it's almost always lucid or extremely detailed and fucking weird or super realistic nightmares. i kinda imagine he'd sometimes have those dreams that are vaguely prophetic but never important (bc im projecting), like he sees himself going to the mall with billy, sid and tate on like a double date and then the next week it happens exactly how he dreamed it.

i think he actually probably has nightmares often enough that he sort of becomes desensitized to a lot of it. like, dream about him dying brutally? yeah, whatever. dream about billy dying? he's waking up in a cold sweat.

sleep and him kinda dont mix overall tho, rarely does he get a good enough rest for it to not feel like a waste of his time 🤷‍♀️
