OH , WHO'S THAT ?! OH , IT'S KRYSTAL ... !
˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗ ... KRYSTAL TSU, also known as KRYSOO or KRYS, is a fictional soloist under YG Entertainment. Originally starting out as a YouTuber, model, actress, and the internet's resident cool girl, Krystal quickly turned her online persona into a booming business, and she eventually found her way into the music industry. Debuting in 2017 as a Mandopop artist, she branched into K-pop shortly after with the track "Got Ya," and instantly found success. She has since gone down as an iconic soloist within the industry, known for her upbeat sound and second generation feel.

˗ˏˋ ꒰ ♡ ꒱ ˎˊ˗ ... Krystal Tsu was born in Shanghai, China into a relatively wealthy family. Her father is the chairman of a large scale real estate company, while her mother is a former model. She's the eldest of two daughters, with her younger sister—Stephanie—being an actress herself. Krystal and her family didn't spend much time in China, as two years after she was born, they moved to Beverly Hills. Her father was looking to expand his business, and California seemed like the perfect place to do so.
Krystal would thus spend the rest of her life on the West Coast, and her desire to start a career in the entertainment industry would start early. At six, she was entered into jazz dance lessons by her mother to help with her balance and to help her develop a hobby, and she would remain in those lessons for the next eleven years. However, two years later, Krystal would look to become an actress after falling in love with actresses such as Angelina Jolie and Lindsay Lohan. She couldn't juggle both acting and dance lessons, though, so her mother—with the help of a family friend who happened to be a photographer—had her begin modeling in hopes that it would lead to an acting career.
She wouldn't take modeling too seriously until 2013, when she would unexpectedly go viral. After a photo of her with Rihanna surfaced, the internet was scrambling to find out who she was. That led to the discovery of her Instagram account, and all of that prompted Krystal to revitalize her previously dead YouTube account, which had already been in existence since 2009. She used it to indulge in another hobby of hers, which was makeup, and she quickly became an internet celebrity overnight.
By 2014, Krystal had reached mainstream fame in the States. With nearly 2 million subscribers, she was an idol for young girls across the country, and was labeled as the internet's "cool girl." She was specifically noted for her head of blue hair, which would cycle through a few other bold colors over the next few years. Within the next year, Krystal would capitalize on her fame by turning her online persona into a fashion empire, founding the pop culture phenomenon of a brand I-Kon. 2016 saw the founding of Kosmetics, Krystal's very own beauty brand. It was just as successful as its predecessor, seeing significant success in Asia. Krystal would continue to be successful as a businesswoman, and would establish a parent company—KRYSTAL TSU—three years later.
Aside from her booming social media, fashion, acting, and modeling careers, Krystal had always loved singing. She spent her life before fame and her earlier career posting song covers to her Instagram, after all. She decided to give a music career a go in 2017, when she unexpectedly signed with Gold Typhoon early in the year. She would make her debut shortly after with the track "Medusa." The album which spawned the single—XI—was a smash hit in China, topping multiple charts and selling over four million copies to date.
Due to her interest in K-pop, Krystal decided that a debut in Korea wouldn't hurt, either. After signing with YG, she would make her debut on November 17th, 2017 with the album Khrysalis. Her debut single was lauded for its unique pop rock sound, which "came out of nowhere." It got Krystal her first and only win that era, and also made quite the splash on the charts. However, the album's second single saw a bit more popularity. "Change" became the dance track of the year, and its complex choreography spawned multiple covers across the internet. Eventually, Krystal also made her debut in the States in 2019 with the single "Like This," which would be a modest success. She released an album the following year, but she hasn't returned to the Western market since.
With successful careers in multiple industries and a concept that's known for its refreshing vibe throughout the K-pop industry, Krystal has cemented herself as an It girl and iconic artist, and as one who isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Terrible Screenplay Idea: Party Hard
Chuck is getting married.
That means he has a bachelor party!
He, against his best wishes and judgement, goes to Las Vegas, accompanied by his future brother in law Alec, a quiet and meek nerdy geography teacher; his party animal coke fiend "legend" of a best friend Teddy; old recently divorced and super horny shithead friend Pete; and his darkly mysterious, cool, super rich maybe psychopathic new friend Boyd. It'll be a weekend of boys partying!
You've seen this before.
Boyd's hired a suite for them, as well as a quintet of strippers! Time for a night of perversion and debauchery!
But instead of "Very Bad Things" or "Rough Night" or any other number of dead stripper movies: something goes horribly south and there is a panic, and after the dust clears, it is the Stag Group who are wiped out to a man, leaving 5 bloody panicked strippers in the aftermath. Now we meet our true heroes of the piece: Amber (Jessica Rothe) is the brains of the crew, a girl trying to fund her way through college and have a good time, who is currently spinning a way out of this mess. Britney (Aubrey Plaza) is a single mother, attempting to provide for her kid the only way she knows how. She doesn't have time for this shit: from either the stags or the panicking girls worrying about "ethics" - she paid her babysitter until 2. Candy (Fiona Dourif) is getting too old for this. She doesn't get as many tips in the clubs anymore, and her experience counts for nothing. She RELISHES the chance to take the lead, and takes to the crime angle a bit TOO well... Dakota (Geraldine Viswanathan) is just out for a good time. She never signed on for this! But she takes to it well, and is keen to learn... Enid (Tessa Thompson) is new to this crew, having filled in for another person who dropped out. Whilst not super keen on the idea of crime, she is a much needed sane port in a storm.
What follows is a night of mayhem, panic, blood, carnage and high-octane lunacy as the strippers must hide the bodies, clean the blood, hide their involvement, and get home. Complicating matters are the fact that Alec and Chuck may not be as dead as they thought; there is a bag of drugs Boyd took which his dealer (Elliot Page) is on the rampage looking for; a nosy Concierge is periodically checking the room and looking for a tip (Masi Oka) and the girls' eccentric, foul-mouthed manager (Stephanie Tsu) is attempting to ensure she and her girls get paid... Then they bump into the Bachelorette party, when Dakota befriends the bride (Olivia Thirlby) on the casino floor.

Everything Everywhere All at Once Review
How is this movie not trending? It’s the hottest shit happening in 12 genres simultaneously. It’s everything we wish movies could be all the time, ground-breaking, out of the box, POC-led, tearjerking, queer, well-handled, mind-blowing, fucking fun, and a clear labor of love by every member of the cast and crew, a small company knockout in an era of big-studio blockbusters.
It’s Turning Red, it’s the Matrix, it’s Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, it’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it’s The Farewell, it’s Community, and so much more, and somehow, impossibly, it kicks ass on every front at once.
It’s a love letter to Michelle Yeoh that finally lets her be everything she can be, it’s Jonathan Ke Quan finally getting a chance to explode back to the screen in one of my favorite characters of all time (and the only successful now-they’re-sexy glasses removal in cinema history). Stephanie Tsu kicks ass, represents despair, wears every bitching outfit you ever wanted to, becomes a being of ultimate omniversal power, cries, would maybe rather be a rock, and is gay, representing an entire generation of millennials who feel like they’ve seen too much to ever go back.
If you haven’t seen this movie, you should. It’s everything everywhere all at once.

So BMC was on Good Morning America and performed a shortened ‘More Than Survive’ so.... my live reactions (as done with @awkwardpersontm bc she told me about this):
You can KidsBop-ify BMC, they did it with:
‘Porno’ = Website
‘Uncomfortable’ = Preoccupied
Will hesitated each time he did the ‘correct’ lyric and Mikaela pointed out how funny it would be if he accidentally did that on stage (I doubt it but...)
ALSO WE CAN SEE THE STICKERS ALL ON JERE’S LAPTOP, LOOKEY!!!! i see u @ Joes w/ the slick ‘The Black Suits’ sticker (it changed from off-broadway stickers I think bc I remember seeing a Transformers head on there before since I was third row and there’s rick and morty there now)
Didn’t know this before but THE INSIDE OF THE NEW CARDIGAN IS GREEN???? ARI LIKEY (BUT MAYBE ITS TO SIGNIFY THE SQUIP/MT DEW FOR LATER ON??? HMMMM...) (ALSO LOOK AT THE FACE ON HIS SHIRT ITS LITERALLY JEREMY AND ITS SUCH A MINUTE DETAIL I COULDNT NOTICE UNTIL NOW??? IM???? YES)
The people in the background behind/around them make me so uncomfortable, I have a hard time focusing bc of the people
They skip right over Mr. Heere and go straight to the bus
They go from the bus right to Stephanie asking about Will’s ‘BOYF’ backpack (NO FLUSTERED BEHAVIOR TO HER???? REALLY???)
Cut to George (MY BOY!!!)
His dance isn’t the important part but look at this man in the bg with a suit on:
‘Yes, this is the chill show my daughter told me about’
Also Mikaela: the physical representation of my last two brain cells
His pour isn’t as... out-there it bc Michael Mell’s outgoingness is too much for TV
“IT ISNT WITH AS MUCH... PASSION?” ... “YEAH IT ISNT AS SEXUAL INNUENDO-EY WHICH MAKES SENSE BUT :((((”
More KidsBop-ify-ing!
‘How was class? You look like ass. What’s wrong?’ = How was gym? Gurl, you look grim. What’s wrong?
George is VERY into the “my mother’s would be thrilled” line bc HE seems like the thrilled one (BC LIKE HE HAS BEEN WITH THIS SHOW SO LONG ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE, WHO WOULDN’T BE THRILLED TO BE PERFORMING THIS SHOW ON GMA????)
Also MICHAEL’S PHONE CASE!!! LOOK!!!!
Also sorry Michael, you got Mike Wasowski’d to get this screenshot (hey, if the name matches-)
my last two brain cells after I finish my final exam on finals week
they skip right to the end of MTS after this (which makes sense bc they get like a 3 minute singing segment but like SO MUCH WAS MISSED???
also this girl in the white to the left omfg
after will’s like ‘im never gonna be the cool guy... im more the one whose left out’: sure jan
They really left out a lot of details which I get, they only had 3 minutes, and I hope this brought BMC to more audiences since this is such a huge deal!!!! BMC is getting all of the attention/hype it deserves and I can’t wait to see it on Bway April 6 with Mikaela!!!
#be more chill#jeremy heere#michael mell#christine canigula#be more chill broadway#will roland#george salazar#stephanie tsu#i would tag the others but they arent even a focus or mentioned which is saddening but im so happy they were all on GMA#well except Jason B( but it makes sense since Squip doesnt show up until mid/late Act 1#ari.txt
