It's been a long day

People where whiny and obstinate

To the complete Karen of an old woman who just kept haranguing you

To the fact that you totally overcommitted yourself with work duties today that were and weren't actually necessary

Sal diligently follows you from the bathroom and shower, to the bedroom (where he stole a few kisses and maybe a few squeezes too), to the kitchen where you both ate dinner standing up over the sink, and then finally to the living room

To console you on your bad day, Sal turns on your favorite guilty pleasure show

Even though watching it always makes him feel like happily slamming a door onto his head repeatedly

He engages in the show, and finds himself getting invested in it too

Vent section: For those of you who follow my blog and know my life, I work on a dementia ward. We got a new resident today. She is completely rude and hateful, incessantly talks, picks on/picks fights with other residents, argues for arguments sake, and biological functioned in the hall (TWICE). Needless to say, her presence has thrown off my entire work groove. I tried to compensate by deciding to do linens today, help out... For rooms 13-24... All of them. It was almost too much but I got it done right before my shift was done. I work 12 hour shifts so 15 loads was a completely doable task... Right? Anyway, while I was doing that, two of my residents (besties, Ms. Daisy and Ms. Eileen (all names have been changed for privacy and dignity)) managed to slip through the coded fire doors that lock down the hall (dementia patients wander and get lost easily, we have to keep them locked down for their safety). They didn't go far. The rest of the building caters to elderly people who just need a little help, and Daisy and Eileen went to the dining room on that wing. An elopement is when a resident manages to get completely out of the building, out in the world . So not even really an elopement. But mass panic ensued while we were trying to find out how they got out. Turns out they were camping the doors, and waited for a family member to come through and slipped out... Very crafty. One headcount later, administration finally left and it was back to dealing with the new lady, Glenda, who I'm sure will appear in many incorrect quotes on my blog. I normally completely loathe a new resident when we get them. As you can see, it throws off my whole day. I'll get used to her, figure out who she needs me to be, and be that person for her. I'm sure we'll end up thick as thieves. It's always the difficult ones that I end up liking the most.

Elliott as a dragon shifter

So we got Human Elliott, Half dragon with wings, horns, scales, and then Dragon Elliott.

He still lives in the beach at first, just in a cave, he sees you working on your farm and when the townspeople tell you about him you're so curious.

Elliott meets you as a human

You give him a lot of gifts and come talk to him everyday and it's not long before he falls for you

He starts giving you things, sometimes useful other times not

"Elliott? Are you sure you want me to take this iron ore?" "Yes of course!"

He doesn't tell you he's a dragon at first but once you two become closer he does

This man constantly wants to be around you

Clingy AF when you two first start dating but he does try to control it

He'll take you flying if you want

You've let go of him before so he could catch you and he scolded you when you two got back to the ground

Warm in the winter

When he takes you to his cave you don't find what you expect

It's like a hobbit hole not a nasty cave, he has his own treasures, rooms filled with books and fine little things

Any gift that you've given him (that isn't food) is in the treasure trove.

Can he breathe fire? Yes

Do I see him more as an ocean dragon? Yes but fire breathing dragons are cool

You're the knight and he's the dragon, only not enemies but instead lovers.

Does he have ruts? Yes. I'm gonna assume he's in his half dragon form during most of it, unable to contain himself

He tries

You're going to be covered in bite marks and bruises, he doesn't leave your side for too long, and if you can't take anymore he'll go for a round or so alone just to give you a break.

If you two have a child in the days leading up to their arrival either by adoption or carrying he has you in the tressure room a lot, saying he needs help cleaning it

Definitely growls if anyone comes too close (growled at Willy and Leah who only crossed their arms at him and Elliott blushed and apologized)

Elliott being a dragon means he'll live far longer than you and can hardly live with it

He constantly looks for ways to make you immortal, the idea of being without you in the world kills him.

Dragons mate for life so if you go he'll follow soon after.

Tells you everything about dragons when you two first start dating so you're aware of the mating but you don't believe your his mate

When you find out how wrong you are it's like a slap in the face

If you want to become immortal like him he'll find every option even going as far to share dragon blood with you and have the Wizard make you like him

If not then he respects it and is content to be with you for whatever time you have left.

When he gets angry sometimes steam will come out of his nostrils and after that you need a minute to take him seriously again

If he's ever really angry he'll start to shift (it's never you he's angry at but you've seen it only a few times)

Pretty protective but knows you can handle yourself

Calls you "my treasure" or "Dearest"

Writes you poems and love letters

Still very old school, trests you like he's courting you even after you two get married

You tell Elliott about them at first

P6 Idea - 22 Dragon Veins

First let's talk about dragon veins. They are formed from the collective subconscious of extinct creatures on the earth, and they have always supported the balance of this world. After the protagonist completes certain tasks and the dragon veins enter into a contract, the dragon veins will reside in the protagonist's body and allow the protagonist to give birth to a "cosmic egg" that symbolizes motherhood. As the protagonist takes care of the cosmic egg, it will turn into a persona.

If the band had released this quartet, soon to be quintet, of albums over a decade-long period, as if they were those prog-grunge procrastinators Tool, King Gizzard’s fans would have been more than satisfied. It’s just impressive that the Gizzard haven’t had to resort to such abstract audio Rothko-ism which is, let’s face it, a little more straightforward than penning several elaborate and exuberant progressive-psych masterpieces. They all have their merits and are just the transcendental ticket if you’re in the right mood. Not that there'd be anything necessarily wrong with an equivalent of Absolute II, Metal Machine Music or Silver Session, by the way. Granted, the final fifth album is still on its way and that one may yet turn out to resemble Sonic Youth’s Silver Session, but the efforts that have been pumped into the writing, honing, rehearsing and recording of the Gizzard’s four albums thus far have been nothing short of herculean. When King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard say they’re going to do something, they’re damn well going to do it properly. “Strewth guys, let’s just record an hour of roaring amplifier feedback and if we say it’s an album then that counts as a bloody album, all right?” But that tossed-off avant-garde one never arrived. The gnarled cynics among us thought there'd definitely be a Metal Machine Music among the bunch. Surely the Australian psychedelic septet would have no choice but to release something along the lines of the final instalment to Oneida’s ‘Thank Your Parents’ triptych: the dronesomely minimal Absolute II. When King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard first announced their ambitious scheme to release five albums within the space of 12 months, it was expected that at least one of those LPs might underwhelm. Here’s my new free 8-fold I was handing out at the SCAD Minicomic Expo! I’ll have more free copies with me at future shows.

I’ve been dabbling in game making lately using open source & free assets so I wanted to collect everything I’ve learned so far in one place. Coding has been really fun as a hobby since it marries skills I already have with an entirely new way of thinking.

This zine was put together with Electric Zine Maker which I highly recommend to everyone.

EDIT: I have been warned that OHRRPGCE is not good for those with photosensitivity, as it contains huge contrast and flashing. Sorry for the oversight, stay safe.

This page is about OHRRPGCE. It’s for PC, Mac, Linux and is written in C. A notable game made with it is Franken by Splendidland. Free RPGMaker but more stripped down-- which is good! Was built for creators with no programming knowledge so a great starting place if you just wanna MAKE something. Has its own asset maker built in so you can make the whole thing in the thing. There is a little pixel sprite of Asher in a wizard outfit at the bottom.

This page is about Ren’py. It’s for PC, Mac, Linux and is written in Python. Some notable games are Doki Doki Literature Club! and Butterfly Soup. Ever wanted to make a visual novel, dating sim, or get freaky w it and program a whole simulator? Here u go. Syntax is like writing a screenplay! Extremely accessible (mostly gets difficult when you add branching paths). At the bottom of the page is Asher in a visual novel layout with a text box below him. He’s wearing a suit and petals are floating around him while he blushes. The text box says “A whole can of tuna? For ME?”

This page is about Godot. It’s for PC, Mac, Linux and is written in C. 2D & 3D game dev for basically everything including consoles. This is for WHOLE ENTIRE game development. Much more advanced than the other programs mentioned in this zine & assets must be made outside the program. At the bottom, Asher is playing minigolf and about to make a putt. A notable game is that my brother is making a golf game with it :)
