I’ve only read one fic where Bail time travels. It’s not just him though, Bail and Breha Tavel from annihilation by Death Star to the moment Breha proposed to him. They immediately decide that they must change the galaxy, even if it means they will never see their little girl again. It’s well written, poignant, and I couldn’t stop crying.

Has anyone made a fic where Bail is the one going back in time? I feel like he’d be maybe 5 and actively hunt Obi-Wan down on Stewjon only to make an instant force bond with baby Obi who is all ‘oooooh shiny’ and snapped their brains together. Cue Obi also getting weird future memories and Bail being a five year old single father.

Life is hard. He misses his wife. He’s gonna give her a flower (her favorite, dandelions, because they are weeds) and ask her if she wants to play house with him. He can be the daddy and she can be the queen and Obi is still a baby and no one knows he stole this baby yet, but he’s a cute baby.

She falls in love instantly.

Bail is gonna go Sith hunting. The Jedi keep running into him on weird planets but he reprogrammed his nanny droid who keeps telling them he’s allowed to be here. It’s like a live action Young Jedi Adventures episode and it’s delightful. He’s got a baby to raise and also a nap to take.

I just think kiddo Bail could fix the galaxy and also have a picnic with Breha and Obi-Wan.
