Vee from the owl house!! Generally the designs of the corxians were heavily inspired by basilisks from the owl house

Newt

Han Solo obviously, but for his iconic ponytail I took inspiration from Simon from infinity train

Alaric

Mostly Korvo from solar opposites, but the blue clip that holds his cape together was inspired by ironman’s heart thingy

For the humans I was mostly inspired by Pinterest photos, I wanted them to look like ordinary people. To this day I wish I made Trent’s design more detailed tho

But for harper’s design I took a lot of inspiration from Quinni! Another autism icon! from heartbreak high. her actor Chloe Hayden is basically harper in real life and quinni’s style generally matches harper a lot

It's interesting to me that male heroes who are selfish, arrogant assholes are so loved but when it's a female hero with these traits she's suddenly unlikeable and is a bitch that doesn't respect others. Makes you wonder what's the difference is.

As much as I don’t have hope for Star Wars or any Disney property, let’s be positive for now! Star Wars in general is very cool and was very influential to the sci fi genre!

Han Solo is my fav character from the original trilogy (my favorite in the general universe is din djarin btw, I love him) and he was one of the main inspirations for Newt so I drew him in his outfit
