For context I’ve been running a folk/gothic horror D&D campaign based on fairy tales, and the party will have to break into a toy store in the next village they come to as part of a quest from a hag.
The toy shop will be guarded by a one-legged sentient animated armor named Standfast, and when the party first meets them, they will be distracted and looking up at a window of a dressmaker’s shop, where a tailor will be working with a sewing mannequin.
And I can’t decide if I want to do something sweet and romantic or something silly and goofy, so I’m just going to put it to a vote:

Note
So they have just announced knight of the seven kingdoms tv series, will you be watching that at all? Or will you be abstaining from it as you did from GoT and HotD?
Depends on the quality.
I've actually been a big supporter in adapting Dunk and Egg over the Dance or other stories like that, because the stories are smaller, and the action driven by dialogue. This necessitates less use of gonzo spectacle and green screen and instead a focus on solid writing for dialogue and actors to deliver it. It's more effective as a story to see the smaller conflicts of The Hedge Knight, where the Ivanhoe-esque tournament is a background feature compared to Aerion's shittiness, the moment where the people hail Dunk as the knight who remembered his vows, and the Trial by Seven. The smaller scale devastation of Standfast and the revelation of Eustace Osgrey is personal, and can be made impactful, because of how small they are.
So if they're good, and they focus on the real meat-and-potatoes of good writing and good acting, then I will very much be on the couch for it.
Thanks for the question, Anon.

when u get this, list 5 songs u like to listen to, publish. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite followers or moots (positivity is cool) 💖
Thanks for the ask! 🥰 So the music I've been listening to lately has mostly been what makes me think of tiefling Astarion and OC Flare in Brand Blood.
Moonlight by The Weather Station - this is *the* Astarion pinning for love song
Serenade of Water by Men I Trust - I listen to this when I write scenes of Flare & Astarion exploring intimacy
Devil by Standfast - another intimacy song, but getting lost and drowning in it
Amber by Maria BC - for the angst
Bloom by The Paper Kites - Astarion thinking about Flare
And one last bonus song for how this fic ends 😈:
The Horror and the Wild by The Amazing Devil
