Speaking of Shimazaki, I learned a lot about myself this week making these terrible memes so I could drop them in the discord chat as I made my friends watch MP100. What I learned was, I have a terrible sense of humor (actually I already knew that, I just didn't realize it was this bad) and that the only thing I enjoy more than watching Shimazaki kick ass, is Shimazaki getting his ass kicked. (I'll have more of these for next week when we get to Serizawa's stuff! Sorry!)

today is the unofficial start of my final term for my degree , tomorrow being when i really head back to campus for classes. from this point onwards (~16 weeks or so ) , i'll be dead to the world and my presence / activity will be incredibly scant. don't expect much out of me during this time ; my academics are INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT to me , so my time to my studies take precedence over my blog. the best way to reach me during this time for chatting / plotting / writing is via discord , which i can give you if you want it , otherwise ... i'll see you when i check in a month from now !!

december 6, 2023 - wednesday week 2

went on a grocery trip and proctored an exam for the pledges of my fraternity today! also got some stuff done for the pharmacology assignment due tomorrow, and finished a couple of physical chemistry assignments.

trying to take advantage of my free time to get back into reading - have been chugging through the audiobook of i'm glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy (which i highly recommend) and trying to finish up my read of the crow by alison croggon (which i started in august).

Oh dear...

Alex is attending one of the most prestigious magic academies in the country, on the orders of his parents of course. Even though Laiz Fier Academy reviles even the name of the only type of magic he's ever been good at. His parents swore he'd find another specialty here, and he'd let himself believe them, like the idiot he is. He's scraping by in classes. Barely. At least he's managed to make a couple of friends and figure out how to sneak into the library stacks to find books that will actually help him hone his skills.

However, Alex realizes now there's a reason why it's not recommended to do your first summoning alone. Because, while he does manage to summon a demon, it doesn't exactly end up in the silvery urn he'd laid in the center of the pentagram.

So now he has a talking, demonic Furby to hide. One that, despite its too-wide eyes and disconcertingly smooth voice, Alex thinks he might be developing feelings for.

I took Light to agility last night to watch and learn to chill out in a crate! She was a little worried at first but settled in well. Afterward she let some new people go over her and look at her teeth! Including a big dude with a beard and hat. A very good and brave baby!
