This was just a little something I thought up after playing the game all day 🥰 enjoy.

What if there was an au were you guys reunited after he got taken away from you?

Tw: Angst, separated lovers, talks about death (no-one dies dw) reunited lovers, tooth aching fluff.

This was written for the people who have already played Pressure. I have not finished it myself, But there will be spoilers for Sebastian's file as well as doors '001' - '047' I highly suggest you play Pressure before you read this.

Life after Sebastian got convicted just wasn't the same. Your room felt empty without his warm body next to yours, dinner felt lonely. Lonely. You were so. so lonely. He was your love, your boyfriend. You wanted to marry that man. But, then he got convicted of 9 counts of murder.

You were devastated, to say the least. He was brought to court and tried. Found guilty, and sentenced to death by electric chair. You would never see him again. That day after the trial, you did nothing but cry in your bed. Your love, your life, taken. Just like that.

A few years later, you got convicted as well. You were sent down to Hadal Blacksite along with a few other prisoners.

You step into the waiting area and the head director gives you instructions over the radio. Looking around the large area and watch as several people walk into the submarines, taking them away to Hadal Blacksite. 'A death wish' You thought. A small snack bar catches your eye on the opposite side of the dock.

You trail over to it, spotting the several snacks and bottled waters. "Hi! How may I help you?" A small cat person appears from behind the counter and startles you slightly. "Can I get a water and a sandwich please?" You point at the turkey and cheese sandwich behind her. "Of course." She turns around and grabs your snack and water.

You tap your nails against the counter and she turns back with your load. That's when you spot the sugar cookie. Neatly wrapped in pretty pink packaging. Sugar cookies. That was Sebastian's favorite. You smile as you think of him. "Could I also get two sugar cookies?"

The submarine is dark as you step into it. The door folds and slams shut behind you. And down you go. You press a button on the control panel and the sub whisks you up to the surface.

The doors open and you step out onto the open dock. Grey and blue walls surround you with several crates and a forklift. A desk next to a door marked '001' in bright green lettering. Walking up to it, your fingers graze the slot where a keycard should go. 'Locked.' You turn around walk a few steps, ducking under a crate. On the other side is a few desks and a keycard on one of them.

You grab it a return to the door, sliding the keycard in the slot. It slids open with a beep and you walk into the next room. 'One down, 99 more to go.'

Along the way you had encounters with several monsters. A shark with several green eyes, and an Angler fish that you had to hide from. Your heart was pounding as your feet shakely carried you to door '47' It slid open to a dark room. The flashlight you had picked up flickers to life and you point it around the room. 'Good, no more of those squid things.' The grate on the side of the room is flund with a crash and you jump.

"Stranger, over here." A deep voice speaks. A shiver runs up your spine as you walk over to the grate. The voice is familiar to you somehow, but how? It couldn't be... could it? You crawl your way through the grate and come into a small room.

It was dark when you entered, standing up completely and stretching your arms above you. A small light flickers on in the coner of the room and you look up towards the source. "Welcome. Welcome! Don't worry i'm not going to hurt yo-" Wait. "Sebastian?" You say, cutting him off.

"Ah, Yes?" He pauses, a little confused. "How did you know my name?" You grab at the diving gear and pull it off your head. As your eyes met his, they widen. "Sweetheart?" He says shakely. Your eyes swim with tears as you two stare at each other for a while " I-I thought you were... you were dead." You sob out.

It had to be him. The short black hair, the voice, his mannerisms. He leans foward, putting two of his arms on the ground, putting another to your face, feeling your skin and wiping away a tear. You laugh and kiss at his hand. He smiles and chuckles softly. "Hi hun." He finally says. Putting hand on his, you lean foward, closing the distance and kissing him sweetly.

Warmth, love, finally. You'd found him. After all this time. You have him back. He pulls away and laughs. "Looks like someone missed me." You puff out your cheeks. "Of course I did. I thought you were dead!" He shrugs. "That's fair." You look over his body, his angler fish light, the gills, the large tail. Three arms?! "What happened?" A frown appears over his smile and he looks away.

An hour or so passes as he explains to you what happened after he was convicted. You sit on his tail, eating your sandwich. You can't imagine what he had to go through, the scientists, the pain from the DNA. All of it. You felt terrible. "So... yeah. That's what happened." You frown as you look at him.

"But it's okay. I've found you. I'm still alive." You finish the last of your sandwich and pull out the two cookies. A hand comes up to wipe your mouth and unwraps the two cookies. "Do you still like sugar cookies?" Your eyes met again. Shock appears in his eyes and he nods. "You remembered?"

"Of course I did love." A giddy smile is on his face before you can blink. "I haven't had a cookie in so long..." He leans down slightly and he opens his mouth. The sharp teeth scare you bit, but you giggle anyway. You make an airplane sound and wave it towards his mouth.

His teeth bite down around the cookie and he licks his lips. The flavour is sweet. The soft texture of the frosting and the crumble of the cookie itself is just... delicious. He almost cries. His hand comes fowards to take the rest of it from you. You place it on his hand and smile. He returns it.

"I love you." He says. You're stunned for a second before tears return to your eyes. "I love you too Sebastian." You say, taking a bite out of your cookie.

Ok! So. After the in game sexy squiddy times thing, I can’t help but view tentacle holding as *very* intimate. As such… I wonder if Gg grabbing emp’s tentacle when he first met him in squid form didn’t help Emps have *feeling* and if this here in the recent comic is something like an awkward smooch

Again, to each their own interpretation! CAN"T GO WRONG WITH THAT INTERPRETATION EITHER asdkjfasd it's very cute actually I only know what happens when you take the uh-failed kissy kiss pathway, so I didn't uh quite find out how it went with the actual kissy kissy wiggly danglers pathway.

SO- Whatever love language Greyg and Emps trial-and-errored off-screen together while fiddling at fuddling during that one astral plane time is between them and whatever Orpheus couldn't mentally shut out. I like to think tentacle-holding isn't always equivalent to romantic intimacy. Maybe not to Greygold anyway. Because if Greygold can't high-five with their tentacle, a high-tent if you will, their bud without somebody blushing, Greygold is gonna be flabbergasted.

Maybe there's a casual way to tentacle-holding and a hollywood-esque romantically-charged way to tentacle-holding. Which one is which though? Hell if I know.

I Can't Lose You

“10.” She jumped from square to square carefully but with incredible haste. The monotone countdown nearly made her steps stumble, yet she remained sturdy and hurriedly finished the obstacle she was on.

“9.” He had already finished this trial several minutes ago and stood staring at her from behind the finish line, watching with creased brows and his lip tight between his teeth. She wished that she could soothe his worries, but even once she finishes this trial, there’d be no solace in the victory.

One trial led to the next, and they only increased in difficulty as they progressed. They’d been promised answers and to be released at the end of the “games,” but no indication for how many or how long it all would take.

She had woken up next to her newly ex-boyfriend in a large empty warehouse surrounded by another fifty or so others that also had no recollections of getting there.

The last obstacle of this trial was, of course, the most daunting and required more time to cross than she had left. In front of her was a thirty-foot long beam. On either side was a bottomless pit.

For those who had completed other obstacles in a faster manner, they’d had plenty of time to carefully cross the narrow stretch of concrete. It was the least deadly obstacle so far, but the longer you took on the other obstacles, the less time you had to carefully cross the final one.

“8.” Y/N had eight seconds to get to the other side. Never before had she felt so disheartened but determined. Jaebeom stood on the opposite end, waiting with bated breath. She had to do this.

She placed one foot on the skinny path, testing her balance before quickly placing one foot after another in quick succession. She got halfway across before wobbling; she took in a quick intake of air as she swayed in her spot before steadying and letting the air escape again.

“4.” Her heart thundered in her ears and she nearly missed that wretched deep voice relaying the remaining trial time. A glance was shared between the two, and then she looked back to her feet.

Each step felt as though it’d be her last. Each beat in her chest felt like it wasn’t enough. She’d stopped breathing the minute she started balance-running again. It wouldn’t be enough time.

“3. 2.” She stumbled. One foot caught on the other in her reckless haste.

“1.” Arms wrapped around her and pulled her the rest of the way forward. They tumbled onto the hard floor, but she had made it. Looking to the side, her eyes were captured by the dark depths of familiarity already staring back at her. They did not speak.

Neverending. She thought they’d never see freedom again. Stuck to whatever building, realm, life they’d been trapped in. She noticed his eyes on her more frequently.

Towards the end of their relationship, he had hardly glanced at her. Unimportant; she’d never felt so unimportant and irrelevant in her life than when she was with him.

Now it was like his eyes were made to solely look after her form. She felt pinned by his gaze. There was no question as to why. Obviously, she’d almost met her maker, and now, he felt responsible for keeping her alive.

That wouldn’t do. Y/N would not be anyone’s liability but her own. This was not the place to rely on another person for getting through the trials. One could die at any moment, and then what? Sit and wait for your own death because your partner couldn’t carry you along? No.

They were led by lights to their next trial. She was determined to get through this on her own.

They were told they’d need to navigate the maze to reach the door. But upon entering the room, the remaining fifteen were met with walls of mirrors. Some had symbols etched into the surface.

Someone mentioned the trick of following the left wall until they found the exit. It’d probably work, if they had the time for such a tedious method. But time was once again against them.

The entire group would only have five minutes to reach the door once someone entered the maze. Anyone left in the maze at the end would be suffocated with poisonous gas.

The group began debating the smartest methods or strategies. Y/N walked closer to one of the entrances, cautious not to step inside the bounds. She inspected the symbols on the mirrors.

She glanced behind her, but none of the others had realized she’d stepped away. Even Jaebeom no longer had his sights glued to her. Instead, he was arguing with another trial runner over who knows what.

When she looked back to the mirrors she noticed something else hidden within their confines. As she tilted her head and stepped side to side, she saw a distorted image reflected below each symbol.

One showed an arrow pointing to the right. The next was too difficult to make out in its current distortion. The next she was just barely able to recognize it to be a dead end sign. And the last symbol almost looked to be a door.

As she turned to announce her findings, she realized that only a few people remained, and when she saw the clock, it was ticking down closer to four minutes.

Jaebeom had waited for her but was urging her to follow the left wall strategy. But really, if you stopped to think about that strategy in this situation, it made no sense at all since there were four entrances to begin with. So which left wall do you start at?

“That’s not how this maze works, JB.” Y/N stopped him from entering the path with the reflection she couldn’t make out. “Follow me. I think I figured it out, but I can only explain while we’re walking. There’s not enough time.” She declared, moving towards the reflection of the distorted door. He began to follow, but attempted to protest only to be cut off by his former girlfriend.

“Look, five minutes wouldn’t be enough time to wander a maze of this size aimlessly until you find the end. And even following one wall the entire time would just lead to constant dead ends. Plus, there were four entrances, so it’d be hard to decide which starting point was the correct one anyway.” She paused, looking closely into the mirror again.

Behind her, she noticed Jaebeom listening intently, but with confusion on his face as he tried to decipher what she was doing.

“So… there had to be some sort of clue to where to start and how to get to the end. I saw the four symbols immediately,” she explained, pointing up at the symbol above them, “but it took me a while to figure out that they correlated to the distorted image below them. When I turned around to tell everyone, they’d already started. But this one has a door in its reflection.” She picked up into a jog as they turned into a long corridor of the maze.

They were not the only ones to make it out of the maze. But their group had dwindled down significantly. A measly six remained.

Once again they were led by lights to the next area. Jaebeom grabbed her arm, holding her back.

“I want to talk–” He started, but she stepped away.

“This is not the place for whatever you’re wanting to say to me.” She shook her head. The last time he had uttered those words, it’d been to end their relationship. She couldn’t risk something like that clouding her focus here.

The lights above them shut off, urging them to keep moving. Her lips thinned out as if to say “see?” She turned and continued on, quickly catching up to the others. He watched after her for a moment, but ultimately did the same.

It was their final trial. Two truths and a lie with a twist. The disembodied voice would read out two truths and a lie for a participant. If no one in the group could correctly identify the lie then the participant would be shot through the head.

No one questioned the fact that there weren’t any enforcers or obvious automatic guns present. Rules hadn’t been taken lightly since trial one when a woman had been decapitated after trying to cheat her way through it. The entire warehouse had fallen into a hush at the sight. Some  had promptly emptied their stomachs onto the concrete floors, a sweaty man had fainted, and the woman next to her had screamed once realization finally hit. Jaebeom had subtly blocked Y/N’s view, but she had already resolved to look elsewhere by then.  

Since that moment, rules were not to be tried against. If it was promised, then no one was curious enough to test those limits.

The monotone voice read out the three facts of one of the random players. The man was mindful of his reactions and kept to a careful poker face. They’d all assumed that hinting toward answers would be considered cheating.

Both Jaebeom and Y/N stayed quiet on this turn, not having learned anything about this man in their time here. Not that there was much down-time for chatting and story-sharing. Thankfully, one of the other three had correctly detected the lie.

“Y/N’s biggest fear is being forgotten by those she cares about.” She tensed in her seat as her turn came. Her eyes had been cast to the ceiling since round two when they’d all failed to guess the lie for the young man.

“Y/N has only been in one relationship.” Jaebeom eyed her from his seat in the circle. His eyebrow twitched, but he waited for the final option.

“Y/N cheated on her last boyfriend.” A scoff resounded out into the room. Eyes flung to Jaebeom’s outraged figure. He stayed quiet only staring at her indignantly.

The others in the room had long since picked up on the connection between the two. None had been sure if it was a romantic or kin relationship, but they’d all recognized the familiarity and allyship.

But at his reaction, they assumed it meant the former was true and took that as a sign of an easy round. The other three in the room all spoke aloud their guess: number two was the lie.

Jaebeom watched as a silent tear fell down the side of her face. She remained staring at the ceiling, resolute in not giving away any answer. She was sure she’d be done for. Either Jaebeom would abstain from guessing just to spite her, or he’d stay firm in his belief that she cheated on him—which had been the cause of their breakup.

“Number 3 is the lie.” He spoke up loud, clear, and firm. Silence ensued.

The ex-couple woke up in Jaebeom’s apartment, slumped down on his couch. Neither of them questioned how they got there. A letter sat in front of them, the outside void of any sender. Both refrained from reaching for it. They knew that the answers to whatever had just happened, and why, would await them inside; neither found it that enticing to find out yet.

“We need to talk.” He started, gulping down his nerves. She stared at the hard wood floors beneath her socked feet. Whoever returned them was kind enough to leave their shoes at the front door.

“Do we?” She spoke up. What was there to discuss, really? He hadn’t trusted her the first time. Was a life-or-death situation the only solution to looking at things from her perspective? That wasn’t a relationship she saw worth saving.

“I can’t lose you. I will do whatever I have to in order to prove that to you. I’ll do whatever I have to so that we can work things out. I should’ve trusted you before. I should’ve known that the things I’d been told weren’t true.” He blew out the air that had built up in his lungs. “I can’t lose you.” He stated again. “No one out there will understand each other the way we do anymore. No one did before anyway… No one got me like you did. Please, Y/N. I want to make things right between us.” He waited. His eyes roamed her face as he watched for any change in her features.

“Me too…” She breathed out with a strained expression, but reached out to take his hand in her own.

MC mob vote rant

Said I'd talk about it so here it is.

I am personally TORN with the mob vote, on one side I think it can be seen as a genuine attempt at bringing the community together, it's presented in a fun fashion, but the issue always was just the voters themselves.

It's always "Cancel the mob vote." but there should have been better ways to handle the fact, that for most of mob votes run it was independent creators with large communities SHIFTING the mob vote.

It's not like MCC (Minecraft Championship) in a way, they are not letting "the best players" into the championship, they are letting content creators who are able to boost their ratings only, which is something I've NEVER enjoyed and why I will never enjoy MCC.

Issue with the mob vote

The mob vote hinges on the community itself not running after their respective creators, YES I feel like mojang should be able to add MORE than just 1 mob or biome a year, especially when modders, who have even worked for the company and contributed amazing things to the community have done more in just a single year.

It's just a TF2 situation now, whether or not Mob Vote exists, the community is essentially keeping the game alive when it comes to modded content while the company behind it does the bare minimum.

Now i'm not saying current minecraft is trash, cause that's just ignorant, the game is fun and enjoyable and new players are probably having an AMAZING time with all these new features and accessible modding I never had when I started playing.

But there are things to be desired, if Mob Vote ever returned I would rather have it as only important game mechanics, such as "Which pre-existing biome should we make an actually useful update for." instead of "which biome should we add." "Which ore should we add new crafting recipes for." instead of "here's a new item from a new ore/block."

Updates, Biome's & Mobs

The Redstone update was AMAZING, tons of people for YEARS wanted a redstone update and they actually really enjoyed it, even thought some people don't look at cave's and cliff's too well, builders loved part 1 because it introduced a really good building block like Copper, and even the ancient cities itself was very hyped up because of the new mob, and was even better for said builders because it revealed swift sneak, the new trial update was also very good for anyone interested in PVP because it added a brand new PVP mechanic with the mace.

Instead of a singular mob, they could have just revolved an update around the mob itself, for a biome, spawning structures, pre-existing entities or mechanics, it would make MC players much more in tune to choose the one they actually WANT because it would completely effect the game/gameplay.

The issue just is, it'll give you two extremely useful mobs and then a mob that does nothing or an already pre-existing mechanic, for example the last mob vote, crabs, armadillos and penguins.

Crabs were REALLY good for builders and general players with higher range block placement and spawning in a useless biome, the armadillos were really good because it took an already pre-existing mob people loved and made it more durable not only that but it added something to a useless biome.

Penguins however were awful and there was no reason to vote for them unless you just already liked the animal, crab vs armadillo was an example of a GOOD mob vote.

Both mobs changed something in the game which would be very likable but weren't HUGELY different entities.

Moobloom vs Iceologer vs glow squid was AWFUL because it hinged on pitting a new enemy, a new wandering mob and a new building mechanic against each other when they should've just been released as separate entities within updates, The moobloom being an animal overhaul or mushroom update, the Iceologer being apart of a pillager update or the trial update, the glow squid being maybe a second part to the aquatic update and cliffs and caves.

Final thoughts.

The Mob vote SHOULD come back, just in a different form where creators cannot swing peoples opinions and were each mob was explained in better detail and equal to each other, The top criteria being "Do they have a useful drop?" "Were will they spawn?" "what is this mobs overall mechanic." And instead of just the mob itself, it gives you an actual update to the game to make people voting for their content creators less charged to do so because they want a game they enjoy.

Shin. He is my hiperfixation from yttd, (un)fortunately and has been for so long now. He just fits with all the other characters that are my favourite perfectly. He is mean, angry, scared, is repressing his true emotions, really cares for others he loves and is pretty... And at the beginning I found him so annoying. My type is really specific, I guess

💖Which character in yttd do you think you would be friends with?

Nao, Reko and Anzu, I think! I, maybe, would also be able to befriend Kanna and Gin. I just think they are so so soooo cool (especially Reko) and it is kinda my wishful thinking that I would be friends with them.

We have a lot in common! I am an artist, love music, jesters, cats and, uhhh, buckets? Lol, a match made in heaven, am I right or am I right?

🤝Which character in yttd would you trust the most?

Mishima. He just looks like a really reliable adult that I can trust. He is a little eccentric, but I love weird friends. He showed in the game he is a really good person and wants others to find comfort in him. But also I think maybe Reko. She also is really reliable and is really good with kids. Really gentle but also sharp

🗝Do you think you would pass your first trial?

I like to think that yes. But it depends on what my First Trial would look like tbh

If I was with one of the ones I love and care about, like Sara and Kanna were, then I am positive we would live. We would work together and get out. And if I was in one similar to Q-taro's or Shin's then I would also survive. The games were individual and, I think, easy enough

If I was in a game like Keiji had or like Alice, where I would be with someone that holds a grudge/I am dependent on the someone I am with, then it really depends on the person if I live or not...

Dunno if I would survive any of the Trials of the Dummies, If I'm being honest. They look bad and we don't really know much about them

🪓If you could design a first trial, what would you do?

I am really not sure. I usually take inspiration from different death games like Alice in Borderland, Saw, Squid games or any other thing where people must try to survive. BUT. I also have my Purgatory Trials au and I have some fanfic ideas from AiB so I can cheat a little and say some here (not a lot)

One is a Trial of Aletheia — participants make groups (4 people) and have to say truths about themselves. If the secrets are bigger then there is more points. If someone lies or tells half-truth, then points are taken away. If the points limit isn't met in 30/45 minutes then the whole group dies

Other ideas are just kid games, Hide and Seek where participants must hide from the Seekers but also find some objects. Rock, Paper, Scissors as one of the easiest but also really random. Or a game of Wolves and Sheep (or Mafia) with Wolves attacking at night and Sheep must figure out who are the Wolves before all of them die.

I know, not really original, but sometimes easy is key for interesting takes

👔Who is your favorite floormaster?

I think Miley. I really like her redesign and role in the game. I also didn't like her that much at the beginning, but with time I fell in love with this character. I can't wait to see what she will do in the final! Because I am sure we will see her again

Honorable mention: Maple. She isn't a Floormaster but I love her dearly. She deserves the best and she really was something interesting and nice in chapter 3

🃏Which card would you most want to have in a Main Game?

Keymaster I think is the most save cad, even if it is really weird to say. Then they can't pick me as all of them will die. The situation isn't comfortable as there is a chance they won't believe it but usually people decide to not play with fire. So Keymaster is the immunity in the game

Sacrifice is horrible because you have to be picked to survive and then only you and the one other person are safe. Sage and Commoners are safe choices to pick to die. Maybe as the Sage you know who the Keymaster is, but they still can die. With commoners is the same, they just don't have anything important going on with their roles

Something below 10% for sure. I would die so hard during Attractions. Like, it is possible I survive but also things happen, you know?

I will be really self centric with this one but I really like my Your Turn To Live. It is nothing revolutionary or wow, I know there are so many aus like that, because it is simple and good. I just love the idea of some guys escaping and trying to live on. Mine favourite is Logic Route Escape with Shin, Sara, Gin and Keiji. But I love also seeing ones with Kanna and Reko/Alice

I like too imagine that Hoshina asks Trainer if he can use some of there Pokemon during Training for everyone else just too mess with others. Like he tells everyone that if they can catch Toedscool then next time everyone has too run laps, Hoshina will telll everyone that they all will be safe from running laps as a punishment for a week. I'm just remembering the first trial in the Isle of Armor where you had to chase down three super fast Galarian Slowpoke. Soshiro would definitely ask a favor like that to troll his officers. A stealth game with Watchog, Claydol and Luxray. Capture the Flag but it's tied to Bouffalant's horn. Try to find Ditto who is disguised as something or someone on base.

He does keep his word if they do manage to complete the task. Although everyone will be kept on their toes knowing he's up to something.

2.) This is going to be a 128 person showdown. Because of this there are going to be a few adjustments from how we normally do our polls. First- not all characters will have character descriptions, because we have neither the time or inclination to do so. There still will be character images along with image descriptions, but that’s about it. Second- because of how many polls this is, the first round will be released in waves of 16 polls per day over the span of 4 days. The other rounds will not be impacted.
