Sports Meet

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida celebrated its Sports Meet from 20th-22nd April 2023 at the College campus. The event was celebrated with full fanfare pomp and show. Festivity races under various categories marked the final day events. As a precursor to the events on final day, the students had participated in a number of league matches on a knock out basis like Cricket, Volley Ball, Basket Ball,chess,badminton in both boys and girls category. During the Sports Meet 2023,Winners were the centre of attraction. The sports Meet was celebrated with full enthusiasm by all the students and staff members of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida.

OhmNanon having a PatPran moment on the gmmtv starlympics futsal court was the one thing I never even imagined could happen. It was all over my tl and caught me so off guard because I was not watching the stream or even following the games. At that moment, I was Gemini and Gemini was me (seriously his reaction was so good I couldn't be more dramatic even if I tried). So yeah. I guess I'm just going down bbs memory lane tonight.

Also I didn't realize that this was a sportsmeet plus a concert. How do these people manage to put up a concert after playing like their lives depend on it? Are they even human? Joong was dancing in the parade(?) then became a cheerleader then played futsal and then performed 3 songs? Like how? (I'm sure the others did similar things but I am a joongdunk stan and my tl is almost always filled with joongdunk so yeah)

Inter College Sports Meet 2020

Some won, some lost but all had great fun. The year long wait for the sports enthusiasts came to an end with the Grand Inter College Sports Fest held from 10th Feb. 2020 to 12th Feb. 2020 at KCC Institutes. Students form BJMC, Bcom Hons, BCA, BBA and B.tech participated in different sports like Cricket, volleyball, football, long jump, basketball, lawn tennis and athletics in high spirit. More than 20 colleges across Delhi NCR took part in fest and made it a success.

The much-awaited Tula's Premier League finally resumed on 19th January. The level of enthusiasm was no less than that of the pre-pandemic times. The event was inaugurated by VP Raunak Jain and VP(Tech.) Raghav Garg. The first match took place between Expandables and Super Strikers on the Tendulkar's Pavillion grounds. With the witty, engaging and interactive commentary by faculty members Mr Sandeep and Mr Emmanuel, and student commentator Riya Alam, the match came to life. After winning the toss, team Expandables set a stupendous target of 117 runs in just 10 overs. Determined and stoic, team Super Strikers chased down the target easily with the captain scoring 69 runs. Man of the Match was awarded to Zahid Ansari (Cpt. Super Strikers). - जीवन की किसी भी स्पर्धा में हार नाम की कोई चीज नहीं होती, या तो हम जीतते हैं, या फिर सीखते हैं, इसलिए युवा विभिन्न स्पर्धाओं में प्रतिभाग अवश्य करें डॉ. सुधीर गिरि, चेयरमैन वेंक्टेश्वरा समूह।

- पाँच दिनों तक चलने वाले इस शानदार खेल महाकुम्भ में क्रिकेट, कबड्डी, गोलाफेक, भालाफेक, खो-खो, रस्साकसी, हॉकी 100 मीटर / 200 मीटर एवं 5 कि. मी रेस, बाघा दौड, रिले रेस, बॉलीवाल समेत दो दर्जन से अधिक खेल स्पर्धाएँ आयोजित की जायेंगी।

- आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी की खेलो इण्डिया", "फिट इण्डिया जैसी खेल प्रोत्साहन योजनाओं से आज राष्ट्रीय / अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में भारतीय युवा अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवा रहे हैं- डॉ. राजीव त्यागी, प्रतिकुलाधिपति, श्री वेंक्टेश्वरा विश्वविद्यालय / संस्थान।

आगामी शनिवार को समापन दिवस पर मुख्य अतिथि विजेताओं को मेडल एवं प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर करेंगे सम्मानित।

- आज राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग बाईपास स्थित श्री वेंक्टेश्वरा विश्वविद्यालय / संस्थान स्कूल ऑफ नर्सिंग की ओर से वार्षिक स्पोर्टस मीट "रणभूमि-2024" का शानदार आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें अलग-अलग हाउस (रेड हाउस, ग्रीन हाउस, यलो हाउस एवं ब्लू हाउस) के लगभ�� 1200 से अधिक खिलाड़ियों ने दो दर्जन से अधिक खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में हिस्सा लिया। पाँच दिनों तक चलने वाले इस खेल महाकुम्भ में शनिवार को समापन पर विजेता टीम एवं खिलाडियों को संस्थान की ओर से ट्रॉफी, मेडल एवं सर्टीफिकेट देकर सम्मानित किया जायेगा।

अपने सम्बोधन में समूह चेयरमैन डॉ. सुधीर गिरि ने कहा कि खेल ही नहीं बल्कि जीवन की किसी भी स्पर्धा में हम कभी हारते नहीं है, जब हम किसी स्पर्धा में प्रतिभाग करते हैं तो, या तो हम जीतते हैं या फिर सीखते हैं कि हमारे प्रदर्शन में कहाँ कमी रह गयी। इसलिए युवा विभिन्न स्पर्धाओं में प्रतिभाग अवश्य करें। प्रतिकुलाधिपति डॉ. राजीव त्यागी ने कहा कि "फिट इण्डिया" "खेलो इण्डिया" जैसी शानदार योजनाओं से आज भारतीय खिलाड़ी विश्व स्तर पर शानदार प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। आज "रणभूमि-2024" के पहले दिन कबड्डी, भालाफेंक, गोलाफेक, 100 मीटर दौड समेत एक दर्जन प्रतियोगिताओं में विजेताओं ने अगले दौर में प्रवेश किया।

Also these people take this sportsmeet very seriously I see. They are literally throwing themselves into the game. Some of them even got injured. I didn't expect this to be that serious. All I saw from last year's event is Force yelling at the players on field and some other random unserious stuff. Well there are a lot of unserious moments this year too but yeah.
