I have not, but I am so willing to do so! For this one I did Sebastian and Ominis, if you want any of the other characters lmk! :D

For Sebastian, honestly he’s pretty surprised the first time he sees you. He’s not used to girls being taller than him at all. 

But that’s not to say he minds. 

While most boys would feel insecure that a girl is taller than them, Sebastian (although surprised when he first met you just because he hasn’t met a girl taller/ the same height as him) honestly doesn’t mind. 

He kinda likes it to be honest. He doesn’t have to bend over to talk to you and he doesn’t have to look down either, it’s really nice. 

He’d immediately jump to your defense if anyone makes fun of you for it. He honestly doesn’t know why people have a problem with your height. 

He doesn’t get insecure over the fact that you're taller than him– even if you're physically stronger than him, he won’t mind. Doesn’t make him feel any less of a man. 

Especially when you're out there fighting and dueling so effortlessly. Let’s just say this man likes a woman who knows how to fend for herself. 

Of course that doesn’t take away from the fact that he treats you like a queen. 

He loves it when you wear heels, regardless of the fact that it puts you several inches above him. He thinks you look gorgeous. 

And of course he doesn’t mind having to get on his tippy toes for a kiss every once in a while.  -

As for Ominis, I think he’d react a little bit differently. 

Now since he can’t physically see you, he doesn’t believe how tall people are saying you are at first… until he can sense that you are indeed very tall. 

It honestly gets him flustered at first but not in a bad way. 

And Sebastian never fails to tease him about how red in the face he got over it. 

But of course it won’t really matter to him. Appearances have never mattered since he can’t see you and regardless of the fact he can’t physically see you, he already knows you're gorgeous. 

There’s honestly a sense of comfort with him knowing that you’re taller than him. He feels safe around you, which knowing him means a lot since he doesn’t trust people easily. 

If anyone tries to tease you about their height, he’ll be quick to your defense. Let’s just say this man doesn’t need to be able to see to know that those people making fun of you are nowhere near to your level of beauty. 

At first when you pull the whole “using your head as an armrest” joke, he’s obviously not having it. But after a while he tends to laugh about it and doesn’t have a reaction to it, instead he just lets you do it. 

Also he LOVES being able to put his head on your shoulder without having to sit down. Like he will do it constantly. He LOVES it. 

But above all, he loves you :)

How Homestuck Beyond Canon Candy Timeline has/will have parallels with Homestuck proper around and during the events of [S] Game Over

Jane Crocker heavily aligned/influenced by with Crocker Corp. Notice how her neck accessory looks very similar to the Crocker computer tiara. There's also the circuits surrounding the button, which are reminiscent of Crockertier Jane's visual mind control effect by The Condesce.

Jane also kind of looks like The Condesce with how she's silhouetted here.

The head of Crocker Corporation on a large Crocker space ship. A ship which I would like to point out looks eerily similar to the ship that The Condesce flies around in except the forks/sporks are facing the opposite direction and it's got black on it instead of mostly red.

Jake dying at the hands of Crocker influenced Jane and coming back to life parallels with this Jane coming close to killing Jake, but stopping right before death. Same green text too.

The cast of characters surrounding this time in the comic are also similar.

We also got the whole Crocker laser beam of death being hinted at which we've absolutely seen before.

I talked about this in one of my previous theories, Jake is getting a better grasp of his hope powers; so, I think we could see another hope explosion again in some capacity out of Jake's concern for Tavvy.

I could also totally see Jake being held hostage by one of the Crocker Clones A.K.A. the Brig Boys and Kanaya cutting them up with her chainsaw (hopefully avoiding Jake).

This is more of a little side detail, but Vriska is once again on the sidelines while this massive important fight takes place because she's trapped in her own personal Hell this time.

CHARACTER DEATH FLAGS - I don't know how to organize this post and there was a lot more potential evidence to this than I thought there was going into it.

Let me preface this with the fact that the existential split between Meat and Candy sometimes seems to try to course correct itself and much like certain peoples DNIs, it doesn't want any doubles. We see this with Dirk, Dave (he died even if he ascended to ultimate self afterwards), June/J/John, Terezi(seemingly), Meenah (her other self is in the black hole with Lord English so we can't necessarily confirm death but yknow), Aradia (is just Aradia), Gamzee, Calliope (that is a whole complex situation), and Rose (if her future sight is correct, but we'll get to that). Those are the only examples I can think of at this time, but it's absolutely a repeating pattern of the universe sort of course-correcting to have only one of each of our main characters exist at a time. This, at least in the cases of Dirk, Dave, & Rose seems to be related to the ascension to ultimate self, but we can't really say if that's why the other characters only get one existence at this time.

Karkat has has at least 2 deaths from around this time, one involving Crockertier Jane as well which could be a sign of things to come.

Rose's death flag is that she has literally foreseen her death in her future sight. She is thinking about Kanaya and Roxy in the same thought process while seeing her own death, feeling full of regret (even though she's trying to repress her own feelings) about her relationship to Roxy and Kanaya. Very similar to her being regretful as she was dying in Roxy's arms. I'm also guessing the bullet that hits her will be from Jake's gun, just throwing that out as a possibility.

ROSE: What... ROSE: Happened to me? ROXY: the witch got u ROXY: with her fork ROXY: but youre gonna be ok ROSE: Oh. ROSE: That's nice. ROSE: *Cough.* ROXY: maybe you uh ROXY: shouldnt try to talk now ROSE: You saved me, didn't you? ROXY: ... ROSE: Thanks. ROSE: But, ROSE: She's gone, isn't she. ROSE: For good, I mean. ROXY: ? ROSE: I saw her die. ROSE: And. ROSE: It's a shame how... ROSE: *Cough.* ROSE: A shame that I never even... ROSE: Got to tell her... ROSE: I loved her. ROXY: who?

ROSE: Kanaya. ROSE: But... ROSE: You too, mom.

Kanaya also has a death flag here in getting hit by The Condesce's laser beam of death, but it's more of a maybe given that we see Rose's future vision of Kanaya holding her body in her arms. Keep in mind though we also had this bit of dialogue about the reliability of future sight right before we saw that vision.

JADE: dont forget im more than a little versed in future sight myself ok JADE: i dont care how credible it seems, you cant depend on that information!

Jake and Jane are also on the chopping block potentially, but I can't think of a way at this time, unless Kanaya mistakes Jake for one of the clones amidst her rage and ends up cutting through him along with the Crocker clones. The one pictured below was done by Aranea who is out of the story. Maybe Meenah's trident hits Jake somehow or something, I don't know. We also have meat Jake and Jane who are doing more okay.

On top of the parallels to the doomed timeline that was [S] Game Over, we also had Vriska say that this reality was fake and didn't matter. I'm paraphrasing and I don't know if we'll get a doomed timeline situation yet with the 4 kids still in it, but I just thought the amount of parallels was interesting & worth pointing out.

I also wanted to get this out before the next update in case it's related to the flash animation and any of my predictions come true.

Alternatively I think the flash animation will be Ultimate Dirk kick starting his SBURB home brew session on Deltritus. He probably has all the tech and narrative powers to do it based on what we've seen, they just need a species they'll both be satisfied with as the players for the session.

im not saying this to come at you, as a bengal owner myself (though i do not plan to purchase any more of them), but aren’t there issues of ethicality surrounding the bengal breed as well, because of their wild cat blood? in particular ive heard stories from vets online regarding the fact that they do not handle visits the way fully domestic animals do and can be dangerous as a result. i see this in my own bengal as well despite his coming from a reliable and reputable breeder and regularly receiving comments from vets that he is very well behaved for the breed. despite being generations down, the wild blood has a clear effect on how well he handles shots, flea treatments, etc. however, outside of vets, very few people seem to actually discuss this matter in relation to the breed. i had personally not even thought about it until i saw them compared to wolfdogs, so i thought to bring it up to you in case you were the same.

Hey there anon, it's no trouble at all! I'll split this into two parts. It's gonna be a long one, so take a look under the cut for my answers (and a very cute photo of Kep).

The question about aggression is interesting to me, as I've never actually heard of bengal-specific aggression before. To vetblr and catblr, what are your experiences with bengal aggression? Do you find the breed leans one way or another?

On that note, let's look at aggression. Like I said, this ask is actually the first I've ever heard of bengal cats being aggressive! Of all the bengal owners I've talked to, both breeders and your average folk, none mentioned anything about human or cat aggression in bengals. As a high energy breed, bengals are known to be environmentally destructive when understimulated, but I can't find anything supported by science stating the breed is any more or less human/cat aggressive than your regular tabby. In talking to both my vet and acquaintances that work at vet clinics, they've all only had positive things to share about bengal personalities.

In my own F7 bengal experience Kepler is as sweet as a button, and even in high stress situations like parties or vet visits he is calm and friendly. He's never had issues with shots, ultrasounds, flea treatments, or handling from the vet. (Dave my domestic shorthair, on the other hand, needs multiple drugs including complete anesthetic to prevent him from hurting himself or veterinary staff, and has a greater history of aggressive behaviour). I actually purchased Kepler because the bengal personality seemed a lot safer and more consistent than adopting a dsh from the shelter and risking owning two aggressive cats.

Regarding ethics, the issue most look to is the Wild x Domestic cross of the asian leopard cat and domestic shorthair. In the United States and other countries with lax animal welfare laws, poaching and private ownership of servals to create the Savannah breed is an ongoing issue, so it makes sense to want to apply the same logic to bengals.

The reason the cross is not an issue to me personally is that the bengal is considered a "closed breed" under the TICA and CFA, meaning that breeders can no longer register and show <F4 bengals or create new bengal bloodlines by outcrossing to the asian leopard cat. As of this change reputable registered bengals are considered a fully domestic cat and not a wild cross.

(The CFA breed standard stating no bengal can be outcrossed to asian leopard cats.)

This means that so long as you source your pet from a registered and reputable breeder, you are not contributing to the poaching or the unethical breeding of wild mixes. It's a fantastic inclusion, as it also actively discourages people from poaching, owning and breeding wildlife. It also makes it clear to potential cat owners like myself which breeders to avoid (ie. those that don't register or show their "bengals").

As an Albertan Canadian I also have further peace of mind as it is illegal for people in this province to own or import wildlife or wild mixes F4 or below, so there is no chance of getting a poached cat (or its offspring) unless I went to the black market or a particularly shady breeder.

Are there people in the United States and other countries that still cross domestics with ALCs? Most definitely. But I personally don't think that owning a cat that is;

Purchased from a reputable breeder;

Barred by law to be a recent outcross; and

Registered under a cat fancy that discourages outcrossing

actively supports modern poaching or unethical wildlife ownership. Cat fancy has taken steps to minimize the harm of bengal breeding and ownership on wildlife while still preserving a bit of cat history. Those steps are sufficient enough for me to be comfortable with it, and I hope that breeds like the savannah cat follow in their footsteps with a closed breed standard.

That being said, if the history of the bengal upsets you or is something that rubs you the wrong way, I wouldn't fault you for it. Wildlife and animal welfare is a bit of a tricky business, and it's not always black and white. Just make sure to do your research and be open to multiple opinions. I appreciate you reaching out to me, and I hope my own thoughts have given you something to think about, even if you don't agree. Cheers!

okay so. two things!! first of all, over the course of january (and the beginning of february) i participated in the kirby oc secret santa, which was wonderfully hosted by @/moonverc3x. i was lucky enough to be the santa for @/starflungwaddledee, and ended up with two of my best pieces so far!!

these were CHALLENGING, though. which is where the second thing comes in!! under the cut, i'll be going over some of the sketches, drafts and phases of either piece! there's also a speedpaint. exciting!!

i'll be starting with my starstruck piece! the theme here was wanderlust - literally one of the most whimsical words i know - and generally anything to do with the stars. i had a few things in mind, but considering how long it sometimes takes to make artwork, i decided to roll with what inspired me the most.

this is the final sketch compared to the final artwork. certainly one of the crazier transformations i've done. i had a mental image of most parts of the artwork, from the material of starstruck's bow to the lighting cast by the stars. everything except for the grass (i hate grass!!) i ended up rendering the grass and background first, anyway.

doing the background before the rest of the artwork helps define the lighting and shadows! if i decided to draw starstruck before the background, i'd have to draw it according to the lighting.

weird explanation, but in summary: background before character helps the character look like a part of the environment! character before background means extra steps need to be taken before the character fits in the environment!

starstruck's bow was also a decent challenge! i'm a fan of bows and satin, so a satin bow sounded like a good idea. it was, but i've never drawn satin before. the workaround was an active satin study! i stared at a satin bow i found on pinterest and tried to understand how light spread over the material. it's quite interesting!!

you might notice that i flipped the direction of the shooting stars. this is for composition reasons!! i wanted to make starstruck the obvious focus, and while the contrast between her warmer palette and the background's cooler palette easily achieve that, i wanted to cement it. i also added little hand drawn sparklies everywhere. because i like it.

of course, i have to talk about the eyes!! if anything, i noticed that in all of starflung's drawings of starstruck, she had really glittery eyes. literally adorable. so i made it my mission to capture her feelings in her eyes!! i had a lot of fun making them super shiny and adding little stars in there. i also needed to pay attention to the subtle gradient, though - they fade from blue to pink if you zoom into starflung's artworks - and decided to keep it vibrant.

okay. thats all for this one!! i'd like to mention that in the original sketch for this specific pose, bandee was in the background. i really regret scrapping that now. oh, well!

time for morpho dee! i'll be starting for with the speedpaint for this one, mainly because it sort of explains some of the process by itself.

i restarted the shading... three or four times at least? so yeah. i was losing it on this piece. i'll be completely honest, i contemplated dropping it for the sake of meeting the deadline. it wasn't stressing me out, but i had studies to worry about too, and i was worried that it wouldn't be of great quality? but after some advice from my beloved older sister, i managed to turn the tide!!

this is a first for me, but everything here was a challenge. if you scroll through my account and the few artworks i've posted, you'll notice that i draw gijinkas far more than orbs. now, you may be wondering why this didn't pose so much of an issue for my starstruck piece! it's mainly because i chose a far simpler pose for her than i did for morpho over here.

for morpho, the artwork needed to be dramatic. i draw cutesy things - while i've always wanted to draw something dramatic, i've never pushed myself to do it. until this artwork! i went for a dynamic pose which would (hopefully) pull the viewer's eye towards morpho dee. that's what's up with the foreshortned spear! i also realised that the plcement of his feet would be quite significant to the artwork. you might not know this, but feet are my greatest enemy. i'm still trying to figure out how best to draw them for people or orbs, but i'm getting there.

after 'lineart' (which really ended up being a cleaned sketch - this was supposed to be linelessly rendered, but i gave up on that) the pose was no longer a problem. because the shading was! hooray!!

nothing has quite bewildered me like metal shading has. i've shaded gold. satin. cotton, fluffy scarves, shiny things, grass. yet metal shading continues to elude me! this was, hands down, the most difficult part of this artwork. i struggled to make sense of how the lighting was supposed to work, even with references. and every time i thought it made sense, i ended up with something i didn't like the look of. the solution? long breaks, more references and pinterest tutorials. i have no clue how i managed this, but we got here anyways. i finished it off by colouring the lineart according to the shading.

i have experience with drawing fire, at least! it was three or four years ago in an old artwork, but i have experience! i simply had to figure out how to work it into the atmosphere. for the glow, i duplicated the layer, gaussian blurred it and used a slight glow layer! i did something similar for the durst particles, but i used motion blur instead.

i also want to talk about the spear a little bit. you might notice that i added a bit of ambient glow around the blue gem. that was with the light intensity in mind, but also for a sense of realism! i also had to keep the pink light in mind, though. so i ended up using an airbrush to create a base for the lighting and i continued from there. i added a few scratches on the handle just to give it a bit more life, too.

and, finally, a one-to-one comparison between the sketch and the final! i have literally no idea how i pulled either of these pieces off, but i'm quite proud of them.

while it’s important that rj understood how prolonged exposure to trauma would mess with you psychologically on various axes - mental, emotional, spiritual, physical - it’s also very significant that he put in the work to question and explore how people could go about healing and recovering from their experiences with a realistic attitude.

sometimes they don’t heal - they don’t understand that they need healing, dismiss their instincts, or manage to bury all the complicated emotions they’re feeling. it’s seen when mat suffers from a severe case of survivor’s guilt whenever he survives a battle, and this is observed more obviously when he escapes from ebou dar without managing to save all the windfinders; he also doesn’t have the vocabulary to express why the abuse he suffers at tylin’s hands feels wrong, and his cultural background and his tendency to lie to himself prevents him from examining why this is the case. rand is simply incapable of dealing with the sheer physical, mental and emotional stress he’s subjected to without a support system to back him up - support that he’s specifically unwilling to ask for because he doesn’t want to be put in a position of vulnerability just like mat and has a very unique relationship with the level of autonomy he’s afforded and the abuse he may be subjected to as a result of his madness - and resorts to unhealthy coping mechanisms and internalises traits that also serve as an allegory for ideologies that toxic masculinity directly feeds off of; he reacts to aes sedai very badly although he eventually unlearns that instinct; he’s extremely suicidal, and lews therin works as an indirect metaphor for depression. egwene feels the need to be in a position of power whenever approaching a certain relationship (be it romantic, platonic or otherwise) after her time as a damane, and is often uncomfortable with setting down her guard unless she trusts the people she’s working with; rj has a very complicated track with his depiction of corporal punishment but he also touches on how it enables people in power to take advantage of it to abuse the people under their control through egwene’s arc. rand specifically laments how the sort of stigma and alienation that male channelers face will never really go away because of the fear ingrained into popular belief, and that’s also a very accurate depiction of how certain mental illnesses are received by society.

but rj puts in the extra work to explore how people who have access to support systems and are on the receiving end of patience and compassion are able to get on the path to recovery. he has nynaeve & co deal with the problem of deprogramming egeanin, the sul’dam and damane who’re thoroughly brainwashed by the seanchan. juilin is able to help amathera recover by being very sympathetic to her situation and protecting her from difficult situations that could trigger her ptsd. rj specifically spends a significant amount of time letting joline, teslyn and edesina slowly encourage the seanchan channelers to entertain the idea of their ability not being a curse and to even train to control it at the white tower. the maidens are able to get a read on rand’s discomfort with the dark and small spaces post dumai’s wells and are kind enough to always leave a light on in the dark for him; they also push rand to take his meals and care for himself. the asha’man are explicitly recognised as a group which needs to unlearn some of the toxic ideas encoded in the founding principles that rand introduced. rand himself is recognised to be in dire need of help again in the latter half of the series, although we never got to see the culmination of that arc, unfortunately* - but I have a theory that his arc as a hero is tied very closely to his ability to recover from the various traumas he’s subjected to.

wheel of time takes a very realistic stance on mental health and ptsd. more significantly, it recognises that trauma might not necessarily bring about a positive transformation in a person. and that’s okay.

*cadsuane’s arrival is the only one I can’t get a clear read on, and feels so obviously doomed to disaster from the very beginning given how her personality clashes with rand’s and with her introduction with the intent of controlling rand and never respecting his opinions or autonomy - but given how she’s criticised by the narrative, I’m inclined to believe that min’s reading might have potentially been fulfilled in a bittersweet way as her readings often are. if rand learned how to embrace his humanity again, I can’t imagine that she would have ever had a part to play in it that involved compassion or understanding.

Rei couldn’t sleep. Normally he had no problems with falling asleep, especially ever since he stopped sleeping in the bathtub and instead started sleeping in his actual bed. But tonight, he had a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach that just would not go away. Honestly, the more he focused on the strange feeling, the more he realized that it wasn’t localized to just his stomach. It was like something was swirling around deep in his lower abdomen, mixed with a weird tingling up his spine and down through his thighs, accompanied by a warmth radiating from his entire body. And because he was having such a hard time falling asleep, he was forced to think about why he had this strange feeling. Nothing specifically came to mind as to what was causing it, but he did know that he’s been getting this feeling a lot lately, and at such random times, too.

Like the other day, he noticed the feeling for just a brief moment. It was around lunchtime; he was cleaning up around the living room while Kazuki and Miri were in the kitchen prepping the ingredients for their meal. Miri laughed about something Kazuki had said, which caused Rei to glance up at them. It’s not like what he saw was anything spectacular. It was just Kazuki stirring a pot of soup. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbow, exposing his forearms. He had a stain of something (probably the soup) on his apron. He had a big goofy grin on his face and was laughing along with Miri. And when he noticed Rei looking at them, his eyes lit up as he called out, “Oh hey, food’s almost done. So go wash your hands and get your butt at the table!” See? Nothing spectacular. These were all things that Rei had seen and heard nearly every single day. But for some reason, his stomach fluttered and his face felt hot.

The feeling came again the night before last. Rei was sitting on the couch, playing Morio Kart with Miri, while Kazuki folded laundry. When he was done, Kazuki sat down next to Rei close enough so that their knees were touching. “Hey, how ‘bout you guys let me play for once?”

“Whaaa! Kazu papa wants to play, too?? Yaay!! I wanna play with Kazu papa!” Miri was ecstatic.

“But there’s only two controllers…” Rei said matter-of-factly.

“Then gimme yours!” Kazuki reached over, placing his left hand on Rei’s thigh to steady himself and grabbed the controller from Rei using his right hand. “Here, show me which buttons to use.” Kazuki held out the controller and leaned in closer to Rei.

“Ah… well, X is the gas and Square is the brake. Right trigger is reverse and Circle is used to throw out banana peels and stuff to trip up the other racers.”

“Okay, I think I got it!” Kazuki exclaimed.

He did not get it. Kazuki was terrible at the game and came in dead last every single time. But whenever Rei would look over at Kazuki in the middle of a race, he saw how focused Kazuki was. He had this determined look in his eye that made him look incredibly serious, but it was offset by the fact that he also had his tongue sticking out. Rei thought, “Is that his concentration face?” and laughed to himself. That’s the moment he felt that strange tingling feeling again.

Then, it happened again this morning. Only this time, the feeling was much more intense. Rei was walking around the house gathering clothes for a load of laundry, and figured he should probably stop by Kazuki’s room to see if he had anything to add. The door was open, so Rei walked right in without even thinking. “Kazuki. I’m doing some laundry, got anything-,” Rei stopped mid-sentence, surprised to have found Kazuki wearing nothing but his boxers.

“Oh, hey! Perfect timing! On my way back from the daycare, some bus drove right through a puddle in the street, and it splattered all over my clothes! Ugh, they’re filthy now! Mind if I toss these in?” Kazuki placed the wad of dirty clothes in the basket that Rei was holding, doing so with a big smile on his face. Rei couldn’t stop himself from looking Kazuki up and down. He’d seen him shirtless countless times before but couldn’t recall a time when he’d seen him in his underwear. It was… interesting, to say the least. Rei then realized that he was feeling that strange tingling warmth again, and quickly turned around to walk away before Kazuki could see the redness in his face.

So as Rei lie there in his bed, thinking back on all the times he’d felt this feeling before, he realized there was a common trigger. It was Kazuki. No matter what was happening in those situations, Kazuki was always involved. And now, as he replayed each of those events in his mind over and over again, the feeling just kept getting stronger and stronger. His entire body felt like it was on fire, and his heart was about to beat out of his chest. “What the heck is this?!”

Having the type of upbringing that Rei had, he was unfortunately not very experienced in this department, so it took him longer than the average person to realize what was going on. But the moment he tried to shift his weight and roll over to his side, he felt a stiffness in between his legs and the subsequent pain from being pressed against the mattress. And it dawned on him. “…Oh.”

Rei honestly didn’t feel very surprised. He’d been living with Kazuki for years now, and already sort of knew that the feelings he had toward him were a bit complicated. He’d always felt close to him but was too embarrassed to really show it. But after Miri came along, the feelings he had for Kazuki only grew stronger. He considered Kazuki his partner and his family. He liked seeing him smile. He liked spending time with him. He liked how he started to show physical affection like hugs and the occasional kiss. He liked it all. So it was only a matter of time before Rei would crave even more from Kazuki. “I’m such an idiot for not realizing it sooner…”

Now Rei was definitely not falling asleep. Instead of lying there and continuing to let his thoughts run wild with Kazuki, he decided to get up and head to the kitchen for a glass of water. He paced back and forth in the kitchen for a few minutes, hoping to tire himself out a bit. But he unexpectedly found himself staring at Kazuki’s bedroom door. And his mind was flooded by various thoughts of what might happen if he were to go in there. “Maybe… we can just cuddle,” he whispered to himself. “Yeah, that might help me fall asleep.” But even his own words didn’t sound very convincing.

Standing outside of Kazuki’s bedroom door, Rei took a deep breath before gently knocking. Aware that Kazuki was probably asleep and didn’t hear the knock, he took the liberty of opening the door and walking into the room, carefully closing the door behind him. He tiptoed over to the bed and cast his gaze down on the sleeping Kazuki. “Pfft! His mouth is wide open.”

Rei stood there for a few minutes longer just admiring the sight before him – Kazuki was lying on his back, with one arm raised above his head and the other draped across his stomach. His mouth hung open as he quietly snored. The longer Rei stared, the more he could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks. Finally, he called out in a whisper, “Psst. Hey, Kazuki? Kazukiii. Wake up.”

Kazuki jerked his head, turning toward the quiet voice calling out to him. “Mmm-hm? Rei? What is it, what’s wrong?” He still had his eyes closed but sat up slightly as he spoke.

“I, uh… I can’t sleep.” That was an understatement…

“Hm, you wanna crawl in? C’mere.” Kazuki still had his eyes half shut, but scooted over and lifted the blankets, allowing plenty of room for Rei to climb into bed next to him.

Rei’s eyes widened in surprise; he wasn’t expecting this to be so easy! He carefully sat down on the bed, but before he could fully lie down, Kazuki wrapped his arm around Rei’s waist and pulled him close. Rei’s face was now nearly pressed against Kazuki’s chest.

“Wan’ me to rub your back?” Kazuki’s voice was low and groggy, and Rei could feel his hot breath on the top of his ear. This did not help Rei’s… current predicament.

“…Sure.”

Kazuki’s hand slowly wandered down to Rei’s lower back and he gently tugged at Rei’s shirt. “Here. Lift it up a bit.”

Rei did as he was told and pulled the bottom hem of the shirt up a few inches. His stomach and lower back were now exposed to the drafty air around them.

Kazuki’s fingertips began to lightly trace swirling patterns on Rei’s skin. He went up along Rei’s spine and gently rubbed around his shoulder blades before sliding back down to his lower back. “Hey, Rei,” Kazuki said in a hushed voice. “You’re really warm.”

Rei wondered if he could also hear how loud his heart was beating in the moment. “Sorry. Is it too hot?”

“No. I’m comfy.” Kazuki continued to delicately glide his fingertips across Rei’s back and side, every so often grazing his fingernails along Rei’s flesh. He then inched toward Rei’s stomach.

“Ah, Kazuki… that tickles.” Rei was starting to get goosebumps. Although it did tickle, it also felt insanely good. He didn’t want Kazuki to stop.

“Hmm oh yeah? How about here?” Kazuki’s fingertips were now tracing along Rei’s hip near the waistband of his pants.

Rei shuddered and pressed his face further into Kazuki’s chest to stifle the slight moan he made. He now had a hard time believing that Kazuki was still half asleep; he had to be doing this on purpose.

Kazuki definitely took notice of Rei’s reaction… and he was instantly on full alert. He continued to graze Rei’s lower stomach with his fingers as he leaned his head down and whispered into his ear, “Rei. Can I kiss you?”

Instead of using words to answer the question, Rei tilted his head up, reached his hand up to clasp the back of Kazuki’s neck, and pulled him close so that their lips pressed together. Kazuki let out a deep Hmmph, which made Rei even more desperate.

Kazuki placed his hand on the small of Rei’s lower back and abruptly pulled him closer. By doing so, he could feel something solid pressing into his thigh and let out a quiet chuckle. Pulling out of the kiss, he said in a teasing voice, “Rei~, is this why you came in here?” As he said the words, he shifted his leg upward, nudging the hard bulge in Rei’s pants.

Rei jolted, letting a gasp escape from his lips. He looked up to see a sly grin on Kazuki’s face, which only added fuel to the fire that raged inside him. “So what if I did?” Rei then used one hand to pull Kazuki’s face back to his for another deep kiss, and used his other arm to prop himself up. He leaned into Kazuki, leading him to lie on his back as he swung one of his own legs over Kazuki’s waist, landing himself in a straddling position on top of Kazuki. He pulled away from the kiss but remained hovering only an inch or two from his face. “Is that a problem?” he asked, while staring deep into Kazuki’s eyes.

“Holy shit,” Kazuki thought to himself, as he stared back at the man sitting on top of him. Although it was dark in the bedroom, Kazuki could tell that Rei’s face was flushed red. He also felt the incredible warmth in his groin right where Rei was sitting, and knew that Rei would soon be able to feel just how excited he actually was about this turn of events. “I’m not complaining. I just hope you’re prepared,” Kazuki taunted.

“For what, exactly?”

“For the consequences of your actions. Rei, did you really expect me to hold myself back after you’ve climbed on top of me like this?” Kazuki reached for Rei’s upper thighs and gripped tightly, holding Rei in place as he thrusted his own lower half upward, pressing into Rei even more. Rei immediately reacted by dropping his head slightly and letting out a hushed moan, making Kazuki grin even wider.

Rei re-focused his gaze on Kazuki and hesitated for only a moment before finally giving his reply. “Like I’d expect anything less from you. So, come on, Kazuki.” Rei then leaned down, pressed his lips against Kazuki’s ear, and whispered, “Show me the consequences of my actions.”

Okay now I've come to ask you about Elenion! I want to know everything!!! What about them has grown and changed? Are they still a bard with a bit of stage fright? Did their origin story change at all? How's Gale? Are you hoping for anything specific from Act 3? (You don't have to answer all those questions, just giving some prompts 😊) I'm pumped that you're loving the game!!!

ooh okay, well first of all i hope the way that i always switch between using he/him and they/them pronouns for elenion isn't confusing. i actually use the mirror to swap them in-game sometimes too and i really love that that's a thing they let you do. oh and speaking of using the mirror, back when i first started playing i shared with you some screenshots of what he looked like but since then i ended up changing to a slightly different face preset from a mod i had installed--he basically just has freckles and shorter/smaller ears now, but that fits much better than what i started with.

also, while i was waiting to be able to replace my hard drive i actually filled out a whole character sheet i found on here just for the fun of it and was planning to post it later! maybe i'll also write out a character description along with it, so i can reference that if i need to.

anyway, gonna put the rest of this under a cut just in case it gets lengthy! (assuming the cut shows up in the correct place, anyway. i had this reply saved as a draft and tumblr keeps glitching and messing things up whenever i save the draft.)

so back when i first started playing, i had come up with a basic idea for what kind of character i wanted to make but a lot of it was sort of vague. and then as i played through act 1 i ended up coming up with different ideas that i preferred and decided to stick with. i didn't really change too much about elenion's personality! i think i told you before that they've always wanted to live up to the legacy of their father who was himself a renowned bard but they're very anxious and insecure, and that they're very reserved but also friendly and good at putting on a confident facade. that's all still true. however, i think i also told you that they were pretty normal and didn't have a traumatic backstory and that their father died after they moved away from home… well, i did change that a bit! i decided that their father actually died like 15 years ago when they were still a teenager, in an accident that they have always believed was their fault, and there was no way for them to save him or bring him back--so that's why they've continued to act the way they do for so long, and also why they very infrequently visit baldur's gate and are anxious about returning. they gradually distanced themself from their home and from their mother out of guilt and haven't visited in years at this point, always using their work and their travels as an excuse, so now having to be back in the city means having to face that.

something else that's important is that before getting abducted by mindflayers elenion would basically do a lot of historical and anthropological research in whatever places he visited as a way to gain inspiration for his writing, and he actually really prefers just doing research and putting on smaller performances over trying to be the glamorous bard that his father was, but before ending up on this crazy journey and becoming more comfortable with opening up to gale and the other companions he would've never admitted that to anyone including himself. right now he still plans to just keep doing what he's been doing after all this is over, but maybe he'll end up accepting that it is not working, isn't making him happy, and probably isn't how his father would've wanted him to spend his life. all of this is still a fairly simple story, but hey, sometimes simplicity works best!

gale is literally so sweet and is such a gentleman and i can't believe there are people who hate him. something i did in the game not too long ago was find tara on a rooftop eating pigeons and after she left gale was like "oh by the way, i was thinking about introducing you two over a homecooked meal in my super cool tower that has a really nice kitchen and a wine cellar, if you would like that!" …uh, hello, who WOULDN'T afkjghdsfs. i actually had him in my party during the big battle at the mind flayer colony and he very nearly tried to blow himself up, but elenion talked him out of it and now he seems like he really does want to live, so obviously i'm glad about that… only now he constantly talks about wanting to find this book about the netherese crown and try to use its power, which is concerning and i really hope i don't somehow accidentally convince him to become a god omg. i honestly can't really think of anything specific that i'm wanting to see in act 3, i'm just excited to see what happens and how everybody's stories end! though i know gale has at least one more really sweet romance scene coming up in act 3 because i've seen gifs of it, so i guess i can say i'm looking forward to getting to see it for myself. i also really want to know what's going to happen with lae'zel and the githyanki egg we found since in my game she's been carrying it around and seems pretty attached to it, like are we actually going to come across a more accepting creche to drop it off at, or is she just going to end up becoming a mother, or…?? but as for the main plot i pretty much have no idea what to expect!!

Hi gang, @allbeendonebefore here. News! I found the files for Dominion Day on my hard drive, so I can try to reupload it to Youtube and link it here at some point. It was one of the few big projects we were able to complete during ProCan's short-lived IAMP reboot run, so I'd like to put it up for old time's sake on our archive account rather than my personal.

hm. i've been quiet abt it bc i don't really like being negative on here but honestly the new furby design is. disappointing idk. absolutely nothing against people who like it ofc, and there are def some cute aspects. but it sucks to see that the design is so far removed from original furbies and just doesn't have the same charm idk. the connect was already straying pretty far but honestly i kinda like connects bc the shapes are cute but. idk the 2023 furbs just seem like they're trying to hard to be cutesy and it just feels sort of forced?? if it appeals to kids and young people get to enjoy it that's awesome and honestly that's kind of the point. but i do get why people are unhappy with it. like in regards certain aspects like the eyes the fixed beak & the way it's like. super difficult to take apart bc of the clips and stuff. i can totally see why a lot of customizers especially aren't happy with it. i'm sure lots of people have said the exact same stuff but yeah overall i feel like. relatively neutral to the whole thing idk it's nice to see furbies being produced and sold again and yeah it is cute but i get why people aren't loving it. that said ofc there are people who do love it and that's totally okay. regardless if you love it or hate it what's not okay is people within the community being rude to each other based on whether they like it or not cmon. it's not for everyone but if people do like it that's their business and there's no need to be rude!!! but on the other hand if people have complaints about it they should be allowed to voice that as long as they're not being mean yknow. letting it cause a rift in the community is silly. but anyways
