Drew giant Sonic and Elise from my Sonic and the Sol Flower fanfiction. Sonic is freaking out. Elise is also taken aback by Sonic's transformation.

The oldest: Terasu, name based in Amaterasu, a fire technique from Naruto anime which got its name from the goddess of Sun in japanese mythology 🤭

She is a purple (a little darker shade than Blaze's lavender) tenrec with blue eyes, wears glasses, is very clumsy and shy, so is also disciplined, cautious and organized, seeks to fully understand a situation before act, is also very supportive and empathetic, enjoys indoors activities like studying the story of the kingdom and reading, not a fan of dresses or jewelry and of crowded spaces.

She inherited both her moms' powers, her PK mark is a blue and she also has the power to see the future by staring at flames.

The middle child: Amber, like the fossilized resin

She is a golden cat with golden eyes, the fur from her muzzle and hands being white tho, and the shortest of the sisters, is very talkative and agitated with an adventurous spirit, disorganized and tends to be too hasty to resolve situations, always means good, but can be very invasive and impatient with a short temper and telepathy, enjoys outdoors activities like travelling or simply hang out around the kingdom and sparring matches, not a fan of crowded spaces nor jewelry and dresses as well.

She inherited Gold's psychic powers, but her mark is white

And the youngest: Dahlia, her name comes from a flower, specifically this species:

I'm still splitted between her being a cat or a tenrec, leaning towards the tenrec option, as she inherited Blaze's fire powers while Amber got Gold's telepathy, either way her fur is lavender with some golden patterns, except for her muzzle and hands which are white, and her eyes are golden.

She usually seeks to fully understand the situation, but oftenly acts hastily due a short temper of her own, meanwhile she oftenly overworries about being rude or blunt towards other people, she enjoys both indoors and outdoors activities, like hang out with her family and friends and reading and studying, specifically legends and myths, not a fan of romance though (to Gold's distress), she is ok with crowded spaces and adores to wear pretty dresses and jewelry

Besides Blaze's pyromancy, she also got an extrasensory ability to an extent, being capable to feel other people's presences and emotions to an extent.

Now I may present you Nova the tiger ☆

★Important point lore:

- She’s from the same dimension as Blaze the cat (appears in Sonic Rush)

- There’s a thing called “the Angels of the gardien of the Sol emeralds” or “the gardien’s angels” which is like other prince and princess from other kingdoms that has the duty of assisting and helping the gardien when needed ( actually there’s this thing just because the other kingdoms didn’t had truste in Blaze cause canonically, she didn’t know how to use her powers properly so they made this system just in case )

- Nova is actually Blaze’s first ever friend since they were little but as time goes by , they interacted less with each other because of their responsibilities and stuff (but Nova sneaks in the Sol kingdom’s castle at night to see Blaze and talk a little bit )

- when they first met Nova was actually the first on to talk . I mean not really. She gave Blaze a bracelet of flower as a token of friendship without a word and Blaze tried to make one too but kinda struggled while doing it so she just gave a Peruvian lily ( this flower symbolize the beginning of a great friendship yes I’m Amy rose hi !! )

- before Nova started to hangout with Blaze , she mostly played with the other kids from the other kingdoms (the famous AnGels I was talking about)

- Nova wanted to be friend with Blaze because she was told about her duty and so wanted to know more about her cause she didn’t know who she had to protect and help so it’s kinda logical

- She basically got her tail cut off by one of the kids ( one of the gardien’s angel) in high school. (I have no idea how school work in other countries so it might not logical or confusing but I’m talking about year 9 ) the reason was she hanged out with Blaze ( I trow all morality and logic out the window with this phrase , I’ll probably do a comic to explain it properly)

just thought of blaze’s world not having any fire lillies. sonic, having visited the sol dimension a couple times, he notices he cant find that flower anywhere (he goes for flower hunting once in a while, especially when exploring new areas). he asks marine if she knows where they grow but marine’s response is “fire lilles? mate, have you been drinking?” so uh, he realizes they are not a thing there. and the thought of that makes him wanna laugh but he immediately thinks of blaze the ‘pyrokinetic’ cat and how she’s never seen a fire lily. so he goes back to his world and spends a whole day looking for the biggest field of fire lillies (lets just pretend there are places like these in sonic’s world). so, he prompts blaze to travel to his world, saying he has a surprise for her. little does she know that she will be surrounded by these orange flowers that remind her of something but doesnt know exactly what. the field is beautiful and it feels safe, as if it is home. she moves slowly, making sure to take in every detail of this view, bending down to smell the flowers. 

then she mentions she’s never seen a flower like that before and sonic laughs. “I know. That’s why I brought you here.” 

Blaze is confused but smiles nonetheless, enchanted by Sonic’s smile and how his fur is illuminated by the sunset, as if he’s on fire. She doesn’t question why or how. “What are they called?” 

Sonic brings a hand that was previously hidden behind his back in front of her, holding one of the many flowers that are adorning the field. “Fire lillies.” He winks. 

Blaze takes more than a few seconds to process this and double this time to get ahold of the flower. It reminded her of her own flames. Only Sonic could take something as destructive as her flames and compare it to something as beautiful as this flower. She feels her face heating up ever so slightly, so she quickly takes the flower and turns to face the sunset without saying anything else. 

Sonic looks at her with the softest smile on his face. “Yeah, they’re very pretty. Reminded me of you.” He mimcks her pose and watches as the sun falls. “This sunset,” he whistles, “haven’t seen one this bright in a long time.”

The change of discussion does not make their hearts beat any slower.

A similarly petal-shaped pink mantle frames her head. A large green flower broach sits on her chest. She still wears green gloves and shoes, but the shoes are smaller, not high-heeled boots like before. She no longer has a gas mask, but instead a pair of black glasses.

In the second set, Evy's hair is now died pink and cut in a triple mohawk. She also green vine tattoos patterning her skin. The top design has her wearing an open green vest over a loose pink dress. On top of the vest she has black shoulder pads with white, thorn-like spikes. Similarly spiked black bands surround her wrists and ankles, as well as crossing her waist like bandolier belts. She wears green gloves and boots; the boots have spiked bottoms, like cleats.

In the bottom design, the gas mask has been swapped for black glasses, revealing the green vine tattoos on her face. She retains the vest and spiked shoulder pads, but the dress has been swapped out for a baggy black shirt over flared pink sleeves and pants. She still wears green, spiked shoes, but they are no longer heeled boots. /end ID]

When creating my Blaze-focused Sonic Prime AU (more on that in a bit), I took the time to finally take a swing at a design for the Sol Dimension Egg(wo)man I've been contemplating for a while now. I've always been annoyed we've never gotten any female Sol Dimension villains, even though by all rights there should be an abundance of them. Sonic and Tails each get female counterparts with unique designs, personalities, and relationship dynamics, but when it comes to Eggman we get... a palette swap? who isn't even actually from the Sol Dimension?? hello???

I'm still working out her design and personality, but these are some of the concepts I've drawn up so far. the points I am settled on are that she's a rotund older woman with plant-theming. her birth name is Evy Munanev; her villain title is either Dr. Rotbane or Dr. Rotbloom, I haven't decided.

so. Solegg. my first order of business was swapping out the Egg for something different but adjacent. I picked a seed, which ended up being more of a general plant-theming. I think it could make a nice counterpoint to Eggman's primarily animal-themed robots.

I specifically modeled her after the corpse flower - or rather, corpse flowers, since apparently there are two notable flowers called that, the titan arum and the giant padma. Both are found in Indonesia, fittingly enough, since that's usually the real-world analog I draw on for Blaze's homeland. The top design in the first image is based on the titan arum, while the design at the bottom is based on the giant padma.

for the other elements of her design, I tried matching it to Blaze the same way Eggman's design matches Sonic's. Like how Eggman's primary color is one of Sonic's secondaries (red), Rotbane's primary color comes from Blaze's pink secondaries. Black is her secondary color, same as Eggman, because y'know. Villains.

Finally, the name. As far as Eggman's "real" name goes, the -nik suffix is Slavic/Russian, while Robotnik in particular is a Slavic (specifically Polish) term. apparently. his first name, Ivo, is used in a lot of languages, but if cross-referencing with his relatives, Gerald and Maria, narrows it down to German or Dutch. that said, according to the Sonic wiki the name "Ivo" actually came from a developer's sister's Croatin boyfriend, so. that's a thing. the other factors in the name selection were that it sounds kinda like "evil", as well as being the Latin word for eggs spelled backward.

All that said! I made the Solegg Dutch because of the Indonesia connection. I went with the Dutch name Evy because it also sounds like evil, plus bears some resemblance to ivy. I gave her the last name Munanev, which is venenum (Latin for poison or venom) backwards.

finally, I picked Rotbane as her nickname because it sounds cool, reflects the plant-theming, and has some of the same punchiness as Eggman. I'm also considering Rotbloom, haven't decided yet.

Background: The timid sungazer who helped Sonic defeat Eggman, Fang, and the Black Dragon. After the events, things have been a bit peaceful at home for a bit. Then one day, a strange brown amphibian creature (Goober the Clodsire) cam out of a dimensional rift and gave her a flier to a flower shop before waddling back into the portal, Trip following soon after.

Upon meeting everyone at the flower shop and understanding that they were part of a group who are trying to protect the multiverse, Trip decided she would help. She would come and visit whenever she had the time and fight against the villains on Slur's team, or when things are calm, help out with the Flower Shop.

Trip was amazed of all the dimensional variants she has met of people she knew in her own world. There was a Sonic who is not only older than the one she knew, but is apparently a prince and wields a key-shaped sword. Then there was Mr. Tinker, who is Dr. Eggman, but turned good. Trip remembered how she once wanted Eggman, as well as Fang, to like her and be more friendly towards her, and now a different Eggman is actually being so kind to her.

Speaking of Fang, upon meeting Gantz (Guntz), she's reminded of Fang, only this one is nicer. He can still be a jerk sometimes, but he was far nicer than Fang will ever be, and she appreciated that.

Being a shy girl herself, Trip formed a special bond with Elise (From Gunvolt), who was also cripplingly shy until Luna helped her become braver and more confident.

Being reminded of Lilac and Milla rolled into one, being a sweet girl while also being something of a dragon, Torque also formed a bond with Trip while telling her stories of his adventure with Lilac, Carol, and Milla. These stories help inspire Trip to become even braver.

Since Prince Sonic carries the Chaos Emeralds with him similar to how Blaze carries the Sol Emeralds, Trip can rely on her Super Form whenever she needs it. Although, she tries not to rely on the Golden Dragon form all the time and tries to improve her own strength with the of her new friends as well as the friends she has back home like Amy.

Speaking of Amy, she's completely mortified that someone like Rosy the Rascal (@fallen-symphony) exists. She's like a twisted version of her best friend that utterly terrifies her. She's also a bit sympathetic of Scourge who has to deal with her everyday.

Trip may not be here all the time, but when she can be, she's a big help to the team.

Sonic AU Things 3 & Knuckles, because yes, I have more

Knuckles first ran into the native Chao of Angel Island at age 2, managing to become fluent in Chaoese. He only learned English(for lack of what language to put) from the Master Emerald(Tikal) in dream lessons

55 years before SA2, Gerald went to Angel Island(This was during an odd period when Angel Island was at ground level, yet not after all the echidnas died. In relation to Knuckles, he hadn't been laid yet), getting the idea to make Shadow a Faunan from the mural in Hidden Palace, as making what looked like a heroic savior of the world would definitely make sure no one ever forgot the name "Robotnik"

Along his hubristic train of thought, Gerald went to Little Planet(because it's a magic satellite that seemingly teleports above Never Lake for a month(I'm pegging it as March) before disappearing for the rest of the year) to get DNA for Shadow's original donor

Like in Sonic Underground, Aleena is Sonic's mother and Sonia and Manic are his siblings, as the three are triplets. However, Manic, as well as the triplet's father, Dewen, are porcupines instead of hedgehogs. Also like in the show, they're royalty, but of the Lune(to contrast against Blaze, who's princess of the SOL Kingdom. In a similar vein, Blaze's dimension's counterpart to Soleanna would be named after the moon)

Also in the vein of making Sonic and Blaze equal yet opposite, this headcanon by knockabiller on DA is canon, with the only caveats being that that Jet is older than Blaze, meaning he's aged up from canon from 14 to 15, and there's a younger sister, who I'm naming Pyre

As for why this dimension is like this? Blame Solaris. Blaze was originally from the timeline created when Iblis was released when the Egg Carrier crashed, born close to a year before Silver as a natural, yet much weaker pyrokenetic. When Silver sealed her and Future!Iblis into another dimension, that caused an entire change in the timeline placing Blaze into the royal family, and making it mirror the Chaos Dimension. Since he was removed from time(though how it went down in specifics is for another post), Solaris decided to entertain himself in Non Existence by removing his counterpart, the moon and space deity Lunorin, from existence as well and started seeing just how "equal but opposite" this could get. Since both aren't the best at understanding mortals(even if Solaris vaguely understood his "death" was meant out of both mercy and necessity), Blaze gets to suffer just as bad as Sonic. This whole thing is based off how Sonic 06 was meant to be set before Rush, with it being Blaze's origins

Metal Sonic isn't powered by an animal. Rather, he's the only Badnik to still be powered by a seed from the Little Planet flowers. One from Stardust Speedway, in fact

Aside from Shadow and Sonic, both Knuckles and Cream would also be able to use the 3 Chaos Powers(Control, Spear, and Blast). Sonic's are all wind themed/based(Control give him some wind, as if he traveled through/as it(ala John Egbert windifying), Spear is wind sharp enough to cut, Blast is a heatless explosion), Knuckles has more ground-based(Control give minor bits of erosion and growth, Spear is crystaline, Blast is much like the eruption of a volcano), and Cream, having very high levels of Chaos Energy due to hanging around at least two Chao since she was 3, has them plant themed(Control actively leaves flowers where the uses was and goes, with the amount of emeralds used speeding up how fast they bloom and and how long they live, Spear being rather like Vine Whip from Pokémon, and Blast acting like a mini dust devil made of pollen)

For the ask game, Cream the rabbit? (^-^)

One aspect of Cream that I enjoy is how unique she is as a playable character. I just finished watching the Advance 2 cutscenes for this as I realize I didn't know enough about her to talk about her, and one thing that always stood out to me was how different she was from the main cast.

She chooses to fight against capital E Eggman in order to save her mother (a parent - something most characters don't have, especially one thats alive and actually a good parental figure). She's polite and well mannered, a stark contrast to most characters' rude attitude. Furthermore, she never fights head-on, Cheese is the one fighting for her. That's very different!

As a little baby man, Cream was my go-to character when playing Ultimate Flash Sonic. She was cute and she wasn't all pink and girly like Amy and she was easier to play with while not being boring ol Tails (and Shadow had to be unlocked to play. Otherwise baby me knew what's up).

It's interesting how much she stands out amongst the rest of the cast. She has her own little niche to her, which I appreciate.

One thing i wish more people understood about her.... Hm. Maybe it's because i don't know her as well as some of the other cast, but Cream isn't really a character that's easily misinterpreted. If I had to pick one thing, I'd say her bravery.

Whether it's for her mother or Chocola, Cream has always been willing to step into harms way to get them back. She's quite the ass-kicker, too - while Cheese does most of the work it's Cream herself who gives the orders.

She can seem like she's your standard "little girl" character, but like with most Sonic characters once you take the time to look at them you notice their character is much more complex than at first glance.

As for a headcanon..... I headcanon that like she does for most chao, she gets along well with Chaos :)

Whenever she's allowed up on Angel Island, she plays hide-and-seek and makes flower crowns for them, as well as with all the other little chao. Knuckles appreciates it, though he'd never admit it.

One relationship that I really appreciate is Cream and Sonic. Cream tends to bring out Sonic's kinder side, as he'll go out of his way to do things for her in his own Sonic-ey way. God help you if you make Cream cry, as Sonic will zip into action to make things right. In Sonic Advance 2, when Vanilla is kidnapped during final story and Cream starts to cry, the very next action Sonic takes is to use the 7 chaos emeralds and become Super Sonic to chase after Eggman and rescue Vanilla once and for all.

It's very cute how Sonic acts like an older brother to her.

I also really like Cream's relationship with Vanilla and Amy.

One relationship I wish I could see is Cream and Knuckles. Knuckles is stubbornly kind when it comes to other people, but his inexperience and hot headedness leads him prone to misinterpretation and awkwardness.

I think it'd be cute to see Knuckles awkwardly trying to babysit Cream. Bonus points if he's a terrible babysitter, and Sonic gets to tease him when he accidentally makes Cream cry with his poor skills. Even still, he won't hesitate to smash anything that tries to hurt or tease her, including especially Sonic.

As for a headcanon with one other person, I think Amy often brings Cream along for "girl talks." Cream tends to just go along with whatever Amy's doing, and so I could totally see Amy, needing another girl to talk to about love who isn't Rouge or Blaze (Blaze lives in the Sol Dimension, and Rouge just gets on Amy's nerves), would drag Cream over to her house and then vent/gush about her love for Sonic. Cream doesn't really get it but she's too polite to refuse.

Cozy Night (Silver/Blaze)

This is the first of many Valentine’s Day themed oneshots centered around my favorite Sonic ships.  I hope you enjoy! Apologys in advance for spelling/grammer errors

The ivory hedgehog walked down the path with a spring in his step despite the chilly February air. Silver was more excited and happy than usual when visiting Mobius in the time period in which his friends lived. 

First off, there was no impending doom he needed to warn Sonic and co. about, Second, he was meeting someone very special for coffee, Third, it was Valentine's day! He sniffed the roses he’d bought as he skipped down the path to Blaze’s and his favorite little cafe. It was a charming and quaint little coffee shop that Blaze and he visited whenever they got the chance to meet up. Today was extra special, however.

It would be their first Valentine's day as a couple! They’d started dating only five months ago and it’d been the best five months of his life. Thanks to Tails they’d been able to communicate despite being in different dimensions and different time periods. It had been rocky but they swore they’d make it work if they ever decided to make things more serious.

For now, though they were taking things one date at a time. Silver beamed as the bell jingled over his head announcing his entrance. He quickly looked around and spotted Blaze staring out a window, a small smile on her face apparently lost in thought. 

“Blaze!” he rushes up to her excitedly. 

“Silver!” she smiles her eyes lighting up as she turns to look at him. Standing up she hugs him.

“I've missed you.” Silver smiles holding her close. 

“I’ve missed you too!” she smiles up at him kissing his cheek gently. 

“Hey I got you something!” he hands her the flowers he got her.

“Aww Silv these are lovely! Thank you!” she smiles smelling the lovely roses.

“Of course! Anything for you.” Silver kisses her nose. “I’m going to order something. I’m starving!” 

Blaze giggles softly before sitting down nursing her hot chocolate, taking dainty sips. Silver kisses her forehead before heading up to the front counter and ordering himself some tea and a sandwich. After a moment he heads back with his food. 

“Here we can share this!” he smiles handing Blaze one half of his sandwich. 

“Oh thank you Silver.” she smiles softly at him taking her half and nibbling on it. “I’ve been super busy. I haven’t had a chance to eat!” 

“What? How have you not eaten!” Silver exclaimed. 

“I’ve been busy. I’ve had a lot of paperwork I needed to fill out today. I don’t want to bore you with details. Gardon tried to get me to eat but I was way too focused.” she laughs. “He was very happy when he realized I was coming to see you.” 

Silver chuckles. “I’m glad I’m on his good side. I’m also glad he takes care of you when I can’t.” he takes Blaze’s hand giving it a squeeze.

“Well he tries to.” she laughs smiling at Silver. “But the effort is still appreciated, and there have been many times he’s gotten me to rest or to eat when I’ve needed it.” 

“You work too hard hun.” Silver sighs. 

“I need to Silv. I’m a princess. Protector of the sol emeralds.” she smiles softly at him. 

“Yeah, I know. I just wish you’d take breaks more often. It’s not good to overwork yourself! Just ask Rouge! She sometimes needs to pull Shadow away from work for a nap. He gets really snappy otherwise.” he laughs.

“Maybe your right.” she bites her lip in thought. “It would do me good to just sit in the palace library and read. Or take a nice warm bath when I’m feeling too tense.”

“Those are definitely some good first steps!” Silver beams. “I just want you to take care of yourself. I really care about you Blaze.” 

“I know hun.” she smiles. “It’s sweet and I appreciate your concern. I promise I will try not to work so hard.” 

“Thank you!” Silver smiles. “How about I take you to a spa after this?” he suggests.

“Oh that sounds lovely Silv! Are you sure you would enjoy it as much as I would though?”  she asks.

Silver nods. “I think I would. It’ll be nice to relax and enjoy being pampered. Plus I don’t really mind as long as you’re happy.” he smiles.  

“You are such a sweetheart Silver.” she smiles booping his nose. “A spa trip sounds wonderful!” 

“Ok! Afterwards we can go to a Chao garden and just spend time with some of the Chao.” Silver suggests.

Blaze nods taking a sip of her coca. “That sounds perfect. You really seem to have this all planned out.” she giggles. 

“Well the Chao garden part yeah.” he laughs. “The spa was obviously more spur of the moment.” he waves his hand.

The couple continues to chat in the cafe for a bit longer until they’re thoroughly warmed up and have finished their drinks and food. Silver stands up and takes Blaze’s hand leading her out through the door and into the sunlight. As the duo walks to the nearby spa they fail to notice the dark clouds in the distance or the nip in the air that always indicates rain. They make it to the spa without any issues and enjoy a very relaxing afternoon being pampered to their hearts' content.

“That really was amazing!” Blaze smiles as she buttons up her winter coat. 

“I know right? I definitely feel relaxed.” Silver smiles wrapping up in his scarf. 

The two laugh as they walk out of the building only to end up being caught in the rain. Blaze lets out a yelp of surprise. Silver quickly pulls her under the awning of the spa. 

“Oh lord! I didn’t expect it to rain.” he frowns. “This messes with my plan.” he looks at how hard it’s raining. “I don’t think we’ll be able to go home either.” 

Blaze sighs. “It’s alright Silver I really don’t mind as long as I get to spend time with you.” she smiles. “We should get out of the pouring rain at least.” 

Silver bites his lip frowning as he thinks. “Maybe we could get a room at a hotel.” he suggests.

Blaze nods. “Yes, that sounds like a good idea. We should get a cab first. I don’t think there are any hotels in the nearby vicinity.” 

“Yeah I doubt that.” he sighs pulling out his phone. “I’ll call a taxi.” he dials a cab company and the two wait, Sliver’s arm wrapped around Blaze’s shoulder. 

Once the cab gets there the two shuffle into it Sliver uses his powers to keep the rain off of her. The two cuddle in the back trying to stay warm until they arrive at a hotel. They thank the driver before leaving and going to rent a room. 

“I am so glad to be out of that rain!” Silver laughs. 

“Indeed. It made everything ten times colder.” Blaze chuckles. 

Silver laughs and walks over to the stove in the room and starts the kettle. 

“They should have some hot chocolate packets in here.” he rummages around the cupboards. “I know we just had hot drinks but I think we need it more now.” 

“Yes your probably right.” Blaze nods sitting on the bed and looking out the window. Her tail sways slowly back and forth as she watches the rain. It’s very relaxing, almost having a hypnotic effect on the royal cat. Silver chuckles when he glances over at Blaze as he waits for the water to boil. She’s so cute. Using his powers he wraps one of the hotel’s blankets around her shoulders. She glances over at him giving him a smile. No words are needed. She turns back to the window letting out a content hum. 

After a bit Silver joins her handing her the hot chocolate as he wraps the blanket around both their shoulders draping his free arm around her waist. The two stay like that for a while. Cuddled together watching the rain as they warm up. 

“This is really nice.” Blaze purrs her tail still swaying as she nuzzles into the crook of Silver’s neck her head now resting on his shoulder their cups of cocoa now forgotten and sitting on the bedside table.

“Yeah it really is.” he smiles rubbing her arm.

“I’ve never been more at peace or relaxed. Thank you for this Silver. I know things didn’t go exactly how we planned them but this has been an amazing Valentine's day.” she kisses his cheek. 

“I’m glad you're having a good day.” he smiles kissing her forehead. “I’d do anything to make you happy.” 

“Silver…” she smiles pure adoration in her eyes. “ I didn’t think I’d ever get this lucky when it comes to love.” 

“Me neither.” Silver sighs contently. “I love you Blaze.”

“I love you too Silver.” Blaze beams kissing his nose.

The two lovebirds spent the rest of their evening cuddled up together listening to the rain before deciding to get sleep, Blaze snuggled into Silver’s arms as the two drifted off into dreamland. It truly was a perfect Valentine’s day.
