soooo im wondering if people perceiving me as aggressive when im anxious or excited or irritated is really about my tone of voice.

like im a transman and i see this happen to cis women with low voices too. i am trying everything to control my tone. but it doesn't work. sometimes i get upset and it comes out like im being short or sharp. it sounds to me like i kinda bark things out.

im so confused. it feels like all my life I've resisted full expression and i have only been allowed to express joy or sadness. the irritation is fine if its coming towards me but not if its coming from me. im so confused what do i do. i don't want to hurt my friends and partners but they feel hurt by my tone of voice and im so confused how can my tone say something that is not being felt in me

I've had a couple people (this is the most recent from @bigmack2go) ask this question so I thought I would talk about it Dasher is a newsie who exists in some versions of cannon -but not all. He was about eight (not confirmed just a popular hc) and was Race's adopted son

The story was that his father left him when he was about six or seven, telling him to wait outside on the street and that he would come back later -but he never did. We don't know if he was planning on abandoning him or was prevented from getting back.

He was found by Race at nighttime when he was on his way back from Brooklyn. Race took him in to become a newsie.

Dasher eventually came to see Race as a father figure, mainly because he looked out for him and made sure he was safe. He got attatched pretty quickly. While Race wasn't really a big fan at first he came around to it because Dasher is stubborn.

He got his name because he was the fastest and strongly resembles a deer (the newsies don't know the difference between deer and reindeer). What with the untameable hair, knobby knees, button nose, and doe eyes. He personally just likes it because it's similar to Racer.

A popular hc relating to that is that there is a whole group of littlies named after the reindeer (I can go into that if somebody wants)

He has a semi cannon boyfriend Sparrow (well as much of a boyfriend as an eight year old can have) from Brooklyn, one of Spot's littlie birdies. It's mainly a puppy love thing that becomes a rivalry as they get older that dies down into romance again.

Dasher is usually pretty similar to Race in personality. He's loud and boisterus, cocky, easily irritated, dramatic, sarcastic, and strategic as well as caring a fierce amount for his friends and family.

I would be happy to take asks about any of the deer littlies or the birdies (particularly Dasher and Sparrow) because I think they are all really underrated
