I just read a pilot for a TV show that two incredible people are trying to get made and HOO HOO! OH HOH! I can't tell you who either of them are or what the show is about but DAMN! I hope this gets made! I hope I get to be in it! HAHA, EXCITING! SICK, EVEN!

bethesda seem to really struggle with towns/cities period!! their creative choices tend to be pretty interesting (e.g white run is everyone’s fav city for a reason, diamond city and good neighbour aren’t bad either) but a lot of them feel empty, without purpose. if they do have a purpose, it’s one singular thing like fishing or chems. some of the “cities” in skyrim are downright villages, with maybe one quest and then nothing. in fallout, there is still rubble in settlements, lived in places where people eat, sleep and shop- there is just piles of rubbish everywhere. like, can you imagine a settlement like vault city or shady sands in a modern fallout game? it would look insanely out of place. an equivalent of the imperial city in skyrim? a fever dream!

as cool as some of bethesda’s concepts are, it seems like logistics defeat so much, especially in fallout. i want farms, water pumps, explanations for their clean water, NEW factions, reuse of actual buildings, fishing, hunters, scavengers, washrooms, armourers. if the ncr can print posters and make flags with professional quality, society’s doing pretty okay. even the shadiest and least developed parts of fallout 1 and 2 had more of a semblance of society than the majority of 4.

I had to pinch myself multiple times throughout this scene because my brain just couldn't fathom that this was Khaotung and First. I was completely and utterly floored. At the risk of sounding cheesy, this was Ray and Sand making love. I could feel an air of reverence between them that wasn't there before - especially with Ray. That boy was not only having the time of his life, but it felt like he had completely given himself over to Sand.

You ever randomly get sad by realizing that the people on No Man’s Land are probably missing a lot of the human experience and how most of it is connected to earth?

They’re never going to know what rainstorms are like, or the smell that lingers in the grass after it’s over.

They’ll never know what it’s like to hear cicadas or frogs croaking near a lake at night.

Earth has so many colors, so many animals, and so much flora. Even though they have the geodomes, they’re merely a fraction of what the planet had to offer.

it is like. cracked to me how often i see ppl defend these shows decisions to do certain things because it really is just bigotry. i don't really know if it's just denial but it's really alarming to just see it outright dismissed sometimes. i've unironically seen people argue helluva doesn't have a misogyny problem because stella has sexy merch (???)

the andre thing especially, 'rich effeminate predatory gay man' is a classic homophobic caricature and helluva's done it twice now. so uncomfortably persistent in some of the values the show pedals.

I wonder if Flowey ever just... let Clover stay dead for longer than a few seconds after they died in a fight just to see what happens. I mean, he basically is the master of their fate and would probably get bored of seeing them repeat the same three routes over and over and over again. I feel like in between trying to push Clover to fight Asgore, he'd probably find the time to entertain himself watching other characters react to Clover's death to mix things up a bit.

Why do I not remember Kal ever having feelings for Shallan?? B Sands has too big of a team for something like this to make it to the page if it didn’t happen, but i just read this like “pining?? What?? When??” And not just pining, but he approached her and was rejected?? When the fuck lmao
