✨ SUMMARY OF THE ART 2024 ✨

I personally feel some progress, but I think I could do better. My main goal for 2025 is to make at least one complete art every month, I hope I’d be able to achieve it :D

Neat things I noticed yesterday while looking at a size comparison of some of the Solar System’s moons (and by neat I mean funny things the Solarballs fandom should know about) and some funny moon trivia in general that I also think more people should know about:

Triton is like a quarter the size of Callisto.

Titan is ridiculously huge compared to the rest of Saturn’s moons. It’s kind of absurd honestly.

One of Saturn’s moons, Pan, looks like a piece of ravioli.

Venus has a “quasi-moon”, which is basically an asteroid that follows a similar orbit to it, that is officially named Zoozve after someone misread the official designation number of said object (2002 VE).

Europa is slightly smaller than Earth’s moon.

Pluto has a bunch of much smaller moons alongside Charon. Their names are Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra. They’re all really small. Styx is only 7 kilometers wide at its longest point.

Eris has a moon named Dysnomia.

The guy who discovered Charon named it after his wife Charlene by sticking a Greek ending onto her nickname, and only found out about the mythological Charon after the fact.

First time drawing in digital in a loooong time lol and mainly for experimenting with designs (mercury's fit sucks 💀), colours, ibis paint...so it's not very good (there is one mistake with the coloring of the pants that annoys the hell outta me but it is what it is I ain't going back)

Also the situation is supposed to be Venus chasing down mercury and said planet hiding behind earth lol

Earth being the most unsettling and uncanny of all the planets within the solar system is MY interpretation of the character. He can be charismatic and discomforting to look at at the same time and THAT’S OKAY
