In this episode of Vic rambling about a solarballs episode:

(spoiler warning!)

Ok, first of all, lets get the positive stuff out of the way! I LOVED how they mentioned how the show doesn't portray distances (and to a very small extent) sizes accurately while Saturn, Mercury, Mars and Venus try to find the Earth because it's lowk one of my largest pet peeves and I try to fix it as best I can in my art 😭 ALSO SOLARBALLS IS 10000% FUELING MY ASTRODUDE = ODYSSEUS (for a solarballs epic the musical AU) PROPAGANDA WDYMMMMM HE'S RISKING HIS LIFE LIKE THAT??? Although i'm pretty confident that solarballs wouldn't kill Astro-dude (please don't make me look like a fool in the next episode....)

ALTHOUGH! I didn't quite jive with how solarballs handled how Neptune convinced Uranus to come back to the solar system, it felt really rushed and like the writers didn't quite know how to write someone convincing someone else to come back to a situation that had previously treated them poorly but I do have to admit I liked the scene first watch through while I wasn't paying too much attention to the writing.

Theory time!: ok, so for the up comming episode I'm a little nervous for how things are going to be when the planets attempt to come back only to see that all the moons have become planets. I wonder if the icey moons placed closer to the sun will be shown as water 'planets' because all their ice would've melted. Oh, I hope solarballs does do that...otherwise it'll have to go on the space innacuracies list with sizes and distances....Also like I said before, I doubt they're going to kill off Astrodude in the show because he's been appart of the series for so long aswell as acting as a bridge between the earthlings and planets aswell as having some unresolved plot points. I also reeealllly hope that solarballs doesn't just brush off the whole moons being planets thing and just allowes the the planets to be planets again....

did anyone else feel like earth panicing over hearing the name theia was shoe-horned in with the way it suddenly came up and was quickly pushed aside? or is it just me 😭 oh well...something petty to fix in my comic 😔
