I’m trying to convince myself to put shoes on and go outside specifically because I want fries. hot salty crispy satisfying fries. I can only achieve the goal of hot crispy salty fries in my mouth by putting shoes on and going outside

For New Years Crybaby and Chris went to the diner that they frequent oh so often, the owner was feeling nice and let them climb up onto the roof. Chris has a hand around Crybaby's waist so she doesn't fall, or feel like she's going to fall, and they watch fireworks and eat soggy fries together until it hits 12 and they kiss, Chris smiles into the kiss and it makes Crybaby's lipgloss smear. Had an okayish lunch yesterday but the most exciting part was the bill was under $25 for two people
#when was the last time a dining experience matched the bill at the end for you?#it’s been a damn hot minute for me; I’ve had plenty of mediocre meals#that tipped over into outright bad because the bill did not seem proportionate to the experience#‘let’s see I had a burger you had a chicken sandwich we got fries which is now an upcharge and one of us got a beer#our bill is $85 dollars somehow and our fries were quite soggy’#meal at this restaurant was fine; perfectly matched to a $25 bill#server *sucked* tho; I told my dining partner ‘you sign the tab with her tip; cause I’m gonna hurt her feelings if I do it’
