i meant it when i said quick btw, consider the poll closed, here they are:
quick! in the (more) fucked up and evil timeline where a durge joins the party,
#well probably not the final look i think i want to adjust the face mesh a bit but close enough#no name yet i wanna find something kind of complimentary while also contrasting with orin in a way#siblings of destroying everything and everyone only to wind up dead/with nothing because they burnt every bridge along the way!#i picture them more or less going along with the murder and violence not even considering it an urge for the entire game up until- (spoiler#the confrontation with orin where at first they say the your grandfather is your father thing to mock her. but then when -#she actually freaks out and is made to go slayer against her will they have a moment of. wait . that could be me#last second bhaal rejection with absolutely nobody to comfort them afterwards#because this is the timeline where all tavs are present btw. (well Alfhart and Ayre. Elamshin and Alfhart are mutually exclusive but anyway#you can probably guess what Ayre as an ilmatari cleric thinks about them and their mindset#but fun thing about Alfhart is that . he was murdered. like a lot- A LOT of times.#again - reference the two page comic- but for further context on his backstory#he was everything from a lab rat to target practice to drow for about 85 years .the whole fey reincarntation thing in conbination with that#good old curse he has going on that bars him from returning to the feywild. he was stuck in an endless deathloop for a REALLY long time#has pretty strong feelings about death/respect towards the dead etc as you can imagine#thus he and durge butt heads CONSTANTLY throught the journey#the whole 'two basically demigods that dont know they are basically demigods butting heads' is fun and games until it isnt#because well. man is hanging by a thread right? he's much better at masking his problems compared to everyone else on account of being fey#but he has hardly seen himself as a person since he escaped. and he entered the astarionmance as a bit of a self destructive move -#in the first place#it would take very little to throw him over the edge of believing he is in fact NOT a person in the way everyone else is-#but just a sentient bad omen where everyone that ever gets close to him is doomed wait what's that?#HERE COMES DURGE WITH THE ASTARION ASCENCION!#why was he not present to stop it? wanted to but couldnt because of an injury probably im working on it#point is. any recovery from his experience? negated. overwhelmed by unbelievable grief- shock; rage; sadness; numbness#before? say he strongly disliked the dark urge. Now? to say he only hates them would be an understatement#so when withers brings them back- dead and returned and ALONE- more lost than they have ever been?#they have to deal with the only person that knows what that feels like#looking them dead in the eyes clearly wishing they would have stayed dead#So that's it that's the plot of the even more horrible terrible no good au

Bingqiu AU where SY and LBH grow up as childhood friends (idk maybe they're both at QJP but Shen Jiu is less of an asshole, or maybe SY transmigrates into Random Village Bully Child No.3 when Binghe's mom is still alive -- or both) and there's none of the tension of the idea of "one day Luo Binghe is going to rip my limbs off" for Shen Yuan.
So he and LBH can just be bros! Fantastic! Shen Yuan has never had a little brother before but he's had a little sister, he knows how to do this. Just spoil the cute kid rotten!
It's only fair compensation for how many terrible things LBH is gonna have to endure on the road to ruling the world, after all. SY also feels more freedom to change minor aspects of the plot around, too, like maybe he'll stop Liu Qingge from dying, definitely he can help LBH get a better start to his cultivation journey, and maybe the abyss and xin mo thing doesn't really need to happen...?
The list of things SY considers meddling with ends up including wives.
Like really, come on now, Luo Binghe may be a stallion protagonist but there's no need for that many women. Especially when at least half of them are just increasingly cheap copies of the other half, and that's being generous about it. Some of PIDW Binghe's wives were, frankly, horrible people. And if he's being honest about it, it wasn't fair of Binghe himself to take on that many either. Even if anyone would naturally give their left arm to be the protagonist's wife, after a certain point Binghe just can't spend that much time actually with them! And then he can't form the kinds of deep and meaningful bonds which might actually help heal his trauma!
SY's not looking to interfere too much, of course. Ning Yingying is not his favorite wife, but she's fine. She causes trouble but it isn't on purpose, and she's genuinely sweet and willing to befriend Binghe before he's anything special (although even now, it's obvious Binghe is special). Ning Yingying can stay.
And of course, so can Best Wife Liu Mingyan.
But Sha Hualing? Well, she offers some political advantages, and as the demon wives go she's not the worst. She's kind of iconic and was very popular, but Shen Yuan thinks the harem could do without her scheming and malicious attitude towards the other wives. The cost of harmony was too high for the political bonuses offered, especially when Binghe might as well just take her ancestral lands by force and be done with it. He's going to advise against that match.
And the Qin sisters. Sure there's the legendary threesome, but Wanrong's dead weight and it never struck SY quite right how Qin Wanyue pressured Luo Binghe into sex. The threesome wasn't even good anyway.
Better Qin Wanyue than the Little Palace Mistress on that front, though. But aish, that's complicated, the Palace Mistress is even more politically vital to securing HHP than Sha Hualing is for her father's kingdom, and almost as bad for the peace and harmony of the harem. Ultimately SY will leave it up to Binghe, but if Binghe asks, he's going to advise against the Huan Hua wives too.
With thoughts like this in mind, SY starts talking to Binghe about how to establish a household, what to look for in a spouse (or twenty), and other topics of that nature. What sort of household Luo Binghe ought to strive to have, and what sorts of standards he should himself to. Also while of course assuring him that Shen Yuan isn't interested in women. Lest he worry that Shen Yuan might be trying to steal any of the wives from him, at any point. He's not competition!
SY: I am helping to pave the way for Binghe to have better marital relationships! I am the best big brother slash best buddy ever! don't worry, no matter what happens to Binghe, this gege will be your no.1 cheerleader forever!
LBH: is he saying I should get a palace if I want to marry him? well... that sounds reasonable. ok, I will do it! (•̀ ω •́)✧

Good evening, denizens of Radioapple nation!
I think it's time for a new fic recommendation list. I have been reading some series you recommended and some others that I found on tmblr. My tbr is still shamefully long, you people need to stop being so talented, I can't keep up with all the content.
In any case, here goes my rec list for anyone that is interested. These fics are 100% unadultered radioapple, some sfw, some nsfw, but all of them with good aroace-spec representation and fantastic characterizations.
Without further ado, here we go:
• OSaS, by @morningstarwrites: no need for introductions. This is, I believe, the most famous fic of the fandom. So many hijinks, so much fluff, such character development, and a lot of lovely bickering. It's still going, and we are now entering the 6th arch, with promises of turning up the heat (so far, very much sfw and cute).
• De santos y pecadores, by Sun_Haworth: this is the Spanish version of Of Saints and Sinners (yes, the fic is this famous, it has translations). Very good translation work, I have to say, so check it out if you are a Spanish speaker or if you want to practice your Spanish!
• Lucid Dreams of New Orleans, by @radiaurapple: a "finished" one, with promises of more epilogues and some snippets to come. This is one of the loveliest, most heartwrenching fics I've read of the fandom. Pseudo-human Alastor AU, beautifully written, it will entrance you. You will long for New Orleans like you never knew you could. A must read, for sure. Sfw with the exception of this (highly recommended) snippet, 3 a.m. (Bonus track). I'd also recommend reading A LULLABY FOR MR SHINGLES of you are looking to be creeped out and for a good laugh.
• We should've been enemies, by @soot-and-salt: the gothic horror romance fic you didn't know you needed. It's almost finished, and it captures the creepy dark atmosphere so well. This one is nsfw and very sexy, if I may say so. The writing flows really good, and you can't miss their one-shots: I shine only with the light you gave me, such gorgeous premise and prose, it's a human Alastor AU; and Transubstantiation, based on a fabulous CMV, very gorey and ethereal, it bewitched me.
• All changed, changed utterly, by @tollingreminiscentbells: a finished one, nsfw. Human Alastor AU at the beginning, we follow an alternative narrative in which Lucifer and Alastor met each other before Hell. It is SUCH a gorgeous fic, very nicely written, with so much fluff and angst and character development. Domestic and romantic, without losing each characters essence. I binged it in a couple of days. A must read for any radioapple fan, for sure.
• Lucifer and his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad relationship, by @keelywolfe: this is another radioapple stapple, and rightfully so. Nsfw and still on going, a long read that's very worth it. The writing? Incredible. The evolution of every character? Astounding. The plot? THICK. An amazingly hooking fic, with so much fluff, hurt, confort, love, hate, secrets, drama and smut. A MUST, no doubt. You can also read the short Radioapple Standalones, they are a cute, dramaless and sexy read to rest from the chaos of the main series.
• Bedtime rituals to try out before the next angelic war, by @miribalis: finished and sfw. In this one, we find ourselves with a tricky hotel room and many sheanigans involving insomnia, managerial duties and feelings. Very very cute, writing on point and captures a cozy atmosphere that few do. Another binge-read for me, I just couldn't get enough domesticity from them.
• Blood, water and other bonds, by Minimalistless: nsfw two-shot. If you are looking for some self-indulgent radioapple smut, here is your fic. This one is really well written and fun. Worth giving it a shot.
• loml, by @radioapple-heathen: sfw and still going. A very cute fic, with some really angsty moments and pet snake sheanigans. Alastor and Lucifer discover they have many things in common, but their rivalry never fades... for now.
• Stolen Moments, by @mothballmilkshake: I'm still going through this series, but so far so very good. Nsfw and another very worthy long read. It's fun, it's cute, we see the development of their characters and their relationship, and so far it's becoming another favourite! Definitelly worth seeing how this continues unfolding.
• Strange Appetites, by Gotllphi: Nsfw, gorey (diegetic gore, I believe they described it) and still going. Currently on hiatus, but the author has the story all planned out and will resume writing as soon as they can! My first radioapple read and still on my top list. Human Alastor AU, with some very cute teen Charlie included here and there. The plot is highly adicting, the development of their relationship so much so, and the writing is fantastic. Give it a shot to encourage your local fic writers not to give up!
• Unhealthy Competition, by @theaffablescamp: I have to catch up with this one too, but it is, overall, fun, sexy and intriguing. Nsfw, still going, SO many hooking plot points, SO many hijinks. The radioapples navigate their personal issues while trying to understand each other. A good, entertaining read.
• Eat your heart out, by @seducipher: modern human Alastor AU, nsfw, gorey and unfinished. Very cool atmosphere and premise, good writing and tantalizing. I also binge read this one. Sexy and intriguing, can't wait to see how this one continues.
• @notherpuppet 's AUs: I usually put this one at the end bc it's not a fic per se, but the My Deer Nanny AU is another fandom classic, rightfully so. Fun, cute, fun, domestic, fun, heartmelting... it has everything a radioapple fan needs! They are also in a queer-platonic relationship, which I think is really refreshing and good for their characters. Don't miss their other AUs, art and short-comics. They are pure GOLD.
Also, as I should, have your read Primavera en Nueva Orleans? A great fic in Spanish about Alastor's last Mardi Gras, you should take a look, it's nice 👀
But, anyway, this is all folks! I'll post new fic recs in a while when I continue with my tbr. Thank you for listening and reading, and stay tuned!

RGB designs for a new au
Important things:
The inspiration for this was the game Stray (that I finally played).
This is a hyperfixation that I don't know when it's going to end. I'll probably draw things from it as much as my motivation lets me but don't expect it to be a constant thing like Eclipse or On the road.
I love worldbuilding so there is a lot of details of this au already, feel free to ask questions.
The world is dark and very corrupted but the tone of the au is chill because the sibs dgaf about the world.
Worldbuilding details (my friend wrote this because this is complicated and I suck at writing) [very long text under the cut]:
The key element of this AU’s worldbuilding is a new biohazardous artificial plant which was originally genetically engineered by the scientist of the RGB’s city-state to fight the air pollution that plagued the region by attempting to reduce the amount of CO2 from the atmosphere (yes this is a biopunk universe :)). However, because they are an ugly reddish colour, have a bitter taste and are extremely nutrient-deficient and unhealthy, they have no natural predators and can spread like wildfire across both fertile plots and forests like weeds. On top of that, due to that nutrient deficiency, which stems from the slow absorption ability of their roots (not nearly enough to keep the heavy rate of photosynthesis), they evolved on their own to attach themselves to other living beings as parasites and basically invaded the entire area around the metropolis. With them being potentially lethal, this caused a massive problem that made the city panic; although they have plenty of weak points (like fire and a vulnerable immune system) and it takes them very long to get their roots to the rest of the body, their grip is so deep and strong that the only option is to remove the infected body part. So their special ability became a critical issue when the plants unexpectedly ended up liking animals better, and with them humans themselves, because they could carry them to other places and infest those too while still sucking the life out of them until they die (oopsie). Ultimately, with the lack of proper information on the parasites, and because the situation was handled very poorly overall, they ended up taking many people’s lives and made the most vulnerable species of the area (like cattle) go endangered or extinct, which in turn altered the balance of the ecosystem and the working class’ means of living :).
Sorry this chunk was so technical, we (@kaigoesbrr and I) are biology nerds, but basically the plants were so good at making more oxygen and so ass at getting what they needed to do so that they became parasites, and now they get what they need from plants and animals (and they like animals better, like humans, because they have more stuff and help them spread further). Then society collapsed :).
All of this caused a deep economic crisis that brought about high rates of poverty, and with it, a deep fear of the infested world outside the city walls. So this whole conundrum led to the city closing off to the lands around it, implementing absurd levels of security like a tight border control and a slower, more strict business traffic, and making a huge dark translucent dome that encapsulates the whole city to keep any potential smuggled plants from ever growing by blocking the natural sunlight. They even made a ditch around their walls (kind of like a moat) and burnt and bombed the fields and suburbs around them to make them extremely infertile. So yeah, this city-state is a terrible place to live, a gloomy prison where not even the sun and stars can be seen, but most the inhabitants never leave out of that paranoid terror and the heavy bureaucracy needed to just go outside and touch grass.
(haha with poor funding corrupt scientists who didn’t know what they were doing made a mess, shocker how that would backfire horribly).
However, the outside isn’t as bad as they make it out to be. In the end, the plants did clean the air as they were supposed to, and, as nature does, it did somewhat recover from the disaster to where human life is now sustainable again.
Taking advantage of their thick crust, trees were the least affected by the plague, and the other plants in the forest developed new natural defences against the parasites, which was yet another reason why they in turn became best at infecting animals. And many of the fungi, abundant in the now more humid forest (haha cooler air equals more rain), took advantage of their weak immune system (due to their fucking incompetent creators making a mess of the original plant’s DNA) and infected them (haha scammer get scammed). So basically, the fields and farmlands were lost to the people, but the forests are still intact. Also, even though one of the rivers around the city, the one which makes its ways under it and is therefore connected to the water supply and sewer systems, is trashed, the other, which is further away, is now perfectly healthy due to the city closing off and therefore leaving it alone for enough time. The real issue here lies within the actual government, which obviously does not want to expose how corrupt and lazy they are when dealing with problems and so they keep fueling the paranoia of their most vulnerable citizens since they are kids :). One way they do so is by manipulating the information their people get, claiming bullshit like “the current ecosystem is wild and polluted, it cannot offer our economy anything anymore!” and “the plants are dangerous and will kill you if you ever come into contact with them, and they have infected virtually every living thing around!”. Another is by not educating their population about “the Outside”, treating it like a sort of taboo. Therefore, they refuse to explain, or hush those who try to, the actual danger of the plants and how to deal with them (they do have many weaknesses, after all).
But the people in this world have yet another nasty problem. In this AU there are beings believed to be anthropomorphic demons due to their pointy ears, fangs, and sometimes strange behaviour. But in fact, these people are descendants of the dragons that once lived in these nations, but their origins were forgotten as the world gradually lost touch with its spirituality and ancestry, and now those who were once revered for their “godlike attributes” (yes, they kinda worshipped dragons, I mean, who wouldn’t) are today facing discrimination. However, even though they aren’t considered exactly “people”, the pure humans are still kind of afraid of them, so they usually choose the subtler kind of racism. In most governments, “Demons” get less job opportunities and are denied high positions, can be freely banned from any establishment, and face unmatched prejudice just for existing, especially those with a stronger blood relation with their ancestry. In the city, they are treated as less than even the robots (nindroids of all kinds), who are treated like any other respected social group by now because they have grown so advanced that most of them are just like humans in metal armour. In fact, many of them are mechanics, who are held in high esteem for making the many bionic implants for the humans.
And all of that combined made the RGB siblings (who are obviously demons, especially Lloyd), decide never to leave the Outside, where they grew up, to go live in the city.
When they were younger, Kai and Nya adopted Lloyd when they found him asleep in a box in the middle of nowhere, after having been abandoned themselves a few years earlier. This time, though, their dynamic in this AU is more of a team than Kai being a mom to them both like he always is, so even if Kai feels the most responsible for being the eldest sibling, they rely on each other almost equally. They fend off the plants that threaten them with fire (no they do not have powers, but Kai uses a fucking flamethrower because it’s Kai), and usually live on whatever they can find in the wild: mostly by making traps for game, fishing in the cleaner river and occasionally foraging edible plats (that’s more risky and they are more carnivorous anyway). Also, Nya routinely strolls through the ruins of the suburbs to collect scrap junk to turn as much of it as she can into useful trinkets, the rest of which she sells to Ed and Edna’s junkyard and their son, who is an amateur mechanic (wink wink but no shipping actually). Apart from that though, they usually sneak into the metropolis to cause a bit of mayhem here and there, which over time and on top of the fear over their species has earned them a reputation of People You Don't Wanna Mess With (or "Demons", more like). More than once they’ve even messed with a few of the gangs around town, which started sprouting up after the disaster, so overall their presence in the city is tolerated, but frowned upon. They manage to bypass the annoying border control thanks to the faulty assistant robot who raised them, named Echo (wink wink), who cannot perform any other social job (what he was made for) than to be the ferryman for those few people who decide to cross the wide moat and venture out into the Outside. They usually take a secret tunnel that a few smugglers managed to make, and the Guard do nothing because they do not give a fuck about demons anyway (in fact, only a few people know that their actual names aren’t Red, Blue and Green because nobody gives a fuck indeed). They do actually know a few people there, some of whom are also demons (like Mistake and Ronin), but especially as kids (which is when the story starts) they spend most of their time in the wild chilling and going on adventures :³.
(no the city and the plants are not named, we’re lazy :))
Anyway this is what I'll say for now. There's a lot more info, and hopefully drawings, coming. Hope you like this au because I love it for now ^^

Fan Fic Writer Interview
When @possibility-left tagged me a while back for @cheeseplants writer interview game, I didn't feel worthy. I had only written one fic.
But then @missunderstoodlyrics tagged me. And since I've now plotted out a new, long fic and written several chapters, I guess it's time to stop lurking in the shadows and call myself a fan fic writer (not necessarily a good one, or experienced one, but a fan fic writer nonetheless). So here we go: What fandoms do you write in? Good Omen all day long. Never read any other fan fiction (even for fandoms I love). Never written any other fan fiction. How many words have you published in 2024? Ooh, this looks sad. 1,077 in my short bit o'fluff. But I've published millions of non-fiction words since I started my first WordPress blog in 2010. So apparently, like Nina, I have things to say. If you're curious about my typical writing, check out Honey and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Day. It will be relevant to a future fan fic. What is your greatest achievement this year? It's a tie. First, managing to work, feed myself, and care for my dog rather than reading exquisite fan fiction hour after hour and day after day. And second, finding the courage to write fan fic at all despite being much older (and less talented) than the wonderful writers I enjoy. But, at the risk of my anonymity, I have written a few blog posts on the joys of doing new things badly (click the link to find the inspiration for that mantra which also ties into my next big fan fic project). So I guess I have to live my words. What are your favourite top three fics you wrote this year? Well, as a newbie, there's only one published: Will You Ever Stop Surprising Me? In it, Crowley worries that he'll get bored after averting two apocalypses just to find his angel still has some surprises in him yet. It's pure fluff set in a sex toys shop. (And no, I'll probably never write actual smut. At least not if the voices in my head when I'm reading it--are you kidding me? people in their 50s can't kiss from that position!--are any indication. What was your biggest pit of despair moment? Probably haven't seen it yet. But even in the pits, I look for hope. So I guess it was the pit where I told myself I was definitely spending too much time in fandom works when I should be looking for more paid work and taking care of my boat. But struggled to make progress. Then I realized that the long fic I was obsessing over was actually helping quell the anxiety that kept me from, well, looking for more work and taking care of my boat. What have you learned?
That it's lovely to learn from young(er) people. I admire the craft of people as young as teenagers. And the maturity and vision of writers young enough to be my children. It's fine that I don't have their skillset. I'm a beginner, after all. What three fics have you read this year that you love?
Just three? What, are you insane? Okay, since I share faves regularly on FanFic Friday (follow me if you want to be sure to see them), I guess I can limit myself. But You are an Ocean by megzseattle - After reading thousands of words with Crowley crawling into a whiskey bottle after Aziraphale returned to heaven, this fic read like a fresh breeze. Crowley moves to the South Downs on his own and befriends the protective women of the village. Extra points for BAMF!Aziraphale off-screen and found-family joy. A Portrait in Synesthia by DiminishingReturns - God creates the universe over and over trying to perfect it. She wipes out the memories of the angels every time. But somehow Crowley and Aziraphale find each other in each new iteration using their synesthetic senses. It's stunning. Delectable But Not Edible by AppleSeeds - Human AU - Aziraphale visits a Lush soap store where Crowley works determined to sample those delicious looking confections. I laughed out loud the whole way through. And while I love my clever angel, it was very fun to see him being so obtuse--while clever enough to get past the crazy embarrassment any normal person would have felt in the same position. And finally, What ideas are percolating for next year? I'm SO excited by a new fic I'm working on in which Crowley and Aziraphale are sailors who compete against each other in a singlehanded, round the world race. It will have banter, some angst, peril at sea, our boys demonstrate their feminism, and more. I don't think you'll need advanced knowledge about sailing or racing to appreciate it. And I'm using this as an opportunity to bring some events from real life sailing history to a new audience. Click to read a little snippet of I've written so far. And to see some great footage of sailing off Cape Horn. Why is this such a passion project? While I've never raced, I did live and cruise full time on a sailboat for 7 years. My boat (although I am not) is capable of doing a circumnavigation. So far, the writing and research have helped me tremendously with healing after unexpectedly ending my cruising life two years ago. Tag, answer any Qs that suit and play along (apologies if you're been tagged before and I missed it)! @pookasluagh, @di-42, @dragonfire42, @itsscottiesstark, @shadesofecclescakes, @lavendermoonlitskies, @serenity-black, @holycatsandrabbits

Just a quick drawing of my Lionblaze is Scourge's reincarnation au :) I am still sick so the drawing is a bit wonky here and there.....
This au is still a vague concept and everyone is free to interpret it or create their own story line with it ! It's mainly made to make Lionblaze more revelant as a character, I liked the idea of him having the power to be "impossible to defeat in battle", and at the same time, be the reincarnation of the one of most deadly cats in the series !
So what if Scourge's new chance at life - being Lionblaze - turned out to be not that much of a good idea ?
Starclan "rant" ahead !
Starclan is often a bit weird when they give out powers and prophecies, such as lying to Squirrelflight about being infertile so that she would adopt the Three. ...Or forcing Jayfeather to become a medicine cat against his will, going literally against their decision to reincarnate Cinderpelt so that she would become a warrior because she was made a medicine cat against her will ??? If we follow Starclan's logic, then Jayfeather would have to then be reincarnated to become a warrior because his dream to become a warrior was cut short by Starclan ITSELF ???
Anyway, Starclan being so strange about its decisions, it would be right up its alley to make Scourge's reincarnation have a power to give him a full chance at bettering himself, just like how Brambleclaw was given the chance to kill off Firestar to become leader, and chose to kill Hawkfrost instead.
Knowing that Lionblaze's main inner conflict is the fear of losing control and killing people against his will, being Scourge's reincarnation would make that way more difficult. What if Scourge had genuinely always been a horrible person ? What if Scourge was meant to be terrible in every single timeline, Tigerpaw or not ? Would Lionblaze be able to fight off this strange, tingling need for blood ? Starclan really be testing my boi Lionblaze in this au.
But anyway I hope you enjoy that small sketch! It's not much, but it's honest work lol ! :)
Oh, also, sorry for the Starclan rant again, I feel like I keep ranting about Starclan but Starclan is such a strange mecanic in Warriors ??? Like they go against their very own concepts at some points (the cinderpelt/jayfeather point...), not even counting the fact that they would let Ashfur in Starclan when he threatened to KILL three cats just because Squirrelflight friendzoned him years before wtf??? Or sending Frecklewish to the Dark Forest??? I might make a full written post to talk about Starclan because Starclan is a really weird plot device and they can't seem to keep track of what they are doing. Such as : Let's forbid the medicine cats from having kits. But let's give the children of Crowfeather and Leafpool some powers. Why would Starclan give powers to children that are born against their own values ???
Idk man Starclan is really weird sometimes and I wish they were more... Logical ? Maybe these are just neatpick ? If you have anything to add, if you agree or not, feel free to tell me ! :)
(Also should I write Starclan as a "it" or as a "they" ? I am a bit confused so I used both on this text !)

what do you feel about the Satan's new card? I heard it was horrible and has a terrible card story... They made Ra-on even more terrible than before, and made Satan sort of.. well, idiotic(?) based on what i heard
Once again, I will have to preface this by saying that I like reading noncon. I like writing noncon. I like making Gabriel and other characters suffer with noncon and other shit like that. I am not shy about it.
That being said, this card is not good. It's boring, bogged down even harder with the MC just being... Not a character. Just a plot device to bend and change as they deem necessary to get the precise kink they are going for. And then at the end, it's all "don't worry Satan figured it out and everything is okay now!" You know what the best part of noncon is? The trauma! The consequences! And we don't get that!
So it's not the noncon and sexual assault that bothers me, because I am not merciful, it's the fact that the devs have clearly lost interest in Satan in favor of Leviathan. Just, wow they do not care for him anymore, and when you don't care for a character, then the torture is not going to be good, because the writers are not into it! They're just going "yeah the audience will like this and gave us money right? Let's do the bare minimum and call it a day."
And yeah, that idiocy. Gave him the idiot ball. Of course. Again, they don't care. It's an easy fix too. Easily could've been a "bit off more than he could chew situation" where he dove into a army of angels, not knowing that this was what they were betting on and capturing him as a result. But no, that's too many words and he's not a paid nightmare pass card, they can't do that.
So yeah, verdict: greed is once again behind this. He's a card you can roll for, not a paid card, so the quality takes a huge dip, because devs don't want to focus on things that don't give them instant money. So they don't care for out of character shit because you'll eat it up right? You're getting a card, so shut up about it. Appreciate it.
Ugh... Should I just adopt Satan in the embittered companion au? Devs clearly don't want him and I am growing interested in making an odd situationship between him and the companion.

Blood-Stained Camellias - Ayato (Part 3)
Author Notes: Part 3 of this short fic series with Vampire!Ayato! This fic series is being edited while I listen to the song "Marry You" by Bruno Mars. I really did feel like Ayato would be the sort to tease poor Reader. He's just horrible and terribly fun to write in that way. Unfortunately, this entire series has really just devolved from being a nice little vampire series to being a horrible example of exactly how sappy I am.
As per usual, Reader is gender-neutral. I hope you enjoy!
Type: Gender-Neutral Reader/ Vampire! AU/ Arranged Marriage/ pining/ romance/ some drama/ fluff with a touch of angst/ sfw
Word Count: 1463
[Part One], [Part Two], [Part 3: You're Here!], [Part 4]
Trigger Warning: Vampires, Mentions of Blood
A… A proposal….
I stared at him in utter shock as a million thoughts overwhelmed me all at once in an unrelenting flood.
He’d said this was something he’d already intended to do… So he’d been planning on proposing to me despite the fact we were already betrothed? Since when?!
My shock must have shown on my face since he laughed, a somehow elegant sound that had his shoulders shaking lightly, “No need to look so surprised. I’ve been considering this for quite some time.”
He paused, smiling at me in a far-too-amused manner as he titled his head slightly, “Ours was a political arrangement made in the interests of both our clans, but I must confess that I’ve become quite fond of you.”
As if his initial proposal hadn’t been bad enough, those words had my face warming as I pressed my lips together. Unable to find the words in the face of his fond, though perhaps sadistically amused, smile.
He was taking far too much delight in my shock and flustered reaction. But he wasn’t done, sighing slightly as he continued, “You learning of my… condition, made it seem like a good time to address this now rather than later. Though I suppose it might seem a bit sudden.”
I all but gaped at him before finally managing a two word response as I stared at him, “A bit?”
Ayato blinked at me, his eyes briefly widening before he smiled again, perfectly evil in a way that was wholly characteristic of Ayato, “It seems Thoma and Ayaka have done a better job of keeping my plan a secret than I’d expected.”
So Ayaka knew as well…..
I swallowed, pulling myself back upright and fighting to regain a sense of calm in the face of his rather frustrating amusement, “So this isn’t just a way for you to keep your… ‘condition’ a secret?”
My voice sounded cautiously wary, a perfect match for my own feelings. Because, beyond my fading alarm and embarrassment, a part of me was cautiously wary. And, in the end, I knew that I had to remain cognizant of the fact that Ayato was in an innately perilous position. And I knew perfectly well how good he could be at using others when circumstance required it.
But even despite my obvious suspicion, my words only made Ayato smile as he let out an amused huff, “No. If I’d had concerns about you spreading word about that, I would’ve taken action long before now.”
I nodded, not entirely surprised by his words.
In all honesty, I had found it strange that he hadn’t done something before now. It was why I’d been so stressed while waiting for some sort of information from the Kamisato clan.
Though I’d hardly been expecting a proposal…..
Expecting me to not say anything was unusually reckless for Ayato, though. He was more the kind to tie up all loose ends very quickly. Which left me feeling even more at loss for what was happening right now.
Unless, of course, letting me agonize over the possibilities of what he might be plotting as he planned to propose, of all things, had been his plot the entire time.
Which would be very like Ayato, twisted man that he was.
Ayato sighed, shaking his head slightly, “I suppose that I must apologize. Ayaka would be cross with me for teasing you, so allow me to try again.”
He straightened, his eyes holding my own with a perfectly mischievous stare as he held the pink camellia out to me once more, “Would you honor me with a marriage to you, my dear?”
I exhaled, his words not having quite the same shocking effect they’d had the first time but still managing to leave me simultaneously dumbfounded and flustered.
And Ayato smiled at me, tilting his head as his gaze stayed on me, but his words came out surprisingly softly, “You don’t have to give me an answer today.”
I blinked, startled by his words yet again in what seemed to be a horrible chain of him saying something and shocking me. But he only smiled at my surprise once more, “I am well aware that marriage is no laughing matter, especially when one considers both my unique position and condition. It is quite obvious that I caught you off-guard, but I must ask that you consider it.”
He stood, almost as if he were signaling the end of our conversation with a smile on his face. He briefly paused though, bending to gently lay the flower on the table between us before his gaze slowly lifted to meet mine once more, his smile softening before he continued, “And I do hope that you’ll answer me soon.”
And just like that, he turned and left. Leaving that singular pink camellia on the table for me to gaze at as I realized that I hadn’t even bade him farewell.
Before I knew it, my fingers were toying with the stem of the flower as I picked it up carefully. My lips pressing together as I considered the prospect of marrying a vampire who also happened to be the man I was betrothed to.
A light knock on my door had me looking up, my breath catching as I spun, wondering if he’d returned for some reason only to find my maid peeking in at me, “My liege…..”
She trailed off slightly as her gaze fell to the flower in my hand, a smile flickering across her face before she met my gaze again and fully entered the room, “The head of the Kamisato clan, Kamisato Ayato, said to be sure to give you these.”
And there, in her hands, was a carefully done arrangement of brilliantly red camellias.
My lips parted slightly at the mere sight of them before then I inhaled, “Would you happen to know what the meaning behind camellias are?”
I looked at her, my gaze meeting hers as her smile spread as she nodded, “Of course, my liege. Camellias are commonly associated with the meanings of grace, beauty, sophistication, and perseverance, but they can also mean ‘longing for you.’”
She paused as she sat down the vase, her gaze lingering on me as she continued to smile, “Will that be all?”
Distantly, I nodded, my gaze now staying on the flowers as I answered, “Yes…. Yes, I believe it will. Thank you.”
Marriage to a vampire…. There could certainly be worse things, of that I was fairly certain.
Even if said vampire was the horribly mischievous and rather twisted man named Kamisato Ayato.
Or perhaps…. Especially since it was that man.

What if 'Gundam SEED' was told from Flay's point of view? How would they approach it? Would it have been better?
i would fucking KILL for a SEED show which focused on Flay are you kidding me. if SEED was being written by the kind of people who understand that she is in fact one of the most interesting characters they have i think they could have cooked something really cool, even if the rest of the shitty worldbuilding with all its baked-in issues was left intact.
if you take everything that in the original show is basically used to convey "Flay is a horrible two-timing yandere bitch" and treated it seriously with a Flay POV story, for the first half of SEED you'd have a really tragic character narrative about a girl whose grief essentially eats her alive, pushing her to worse and worse depths of moral depravity as she tries to assuage both that grief and the escalating guilt as she keeps making terrible decisions that hurt her and the people around her. like Shinn, she's a character who feels like she walked onto the wrong set on her way to a more grounded and tragic Tomino Gundam show (for better and worse, since the misogynistic elements could absolutely fit there too lol (and like Shinn, Fukuda doesn't know what to do with her and completely fucks it)).
that being said, i don't think you'd actually get much out of just retelling the original story with a greater focus on Flay's perspective, because in the back half of the show she's essentially shoved into a closet before she gets fridged in the finale. her character just sort of loses its momentum, with all the pathos fading into the background before Kira can have his big manly sook over her dying, and there's only so much you can do with such meagre material.
i think the approach for a Flay-centric story is shorter, and is laser-focused on this young woman's unravelling life with the mecha pilot characters acting in a more secondary role, almost like Lelouch for a lot of the early parts of Code Geass. and then you could have the dealer's choice of whether to take it in a bittersweet and tragic direction, or maybe towards something more sunny and happy. tbh my ideal version of this is just a remix of Flay's concept in a different AU free from SEED's plot-and-world baggage, which is not totally inconceivable, since Flay is already a remix of Quess' concept wrapped in Fraw Bow's basic look. would i be really interested in watching that show? yes. do i think Sunrise would greenlight such a show in a million years? good fucking lord no.
anyway this was a long and rambling answer so to answer directly - if it was told from Flay's view that would be much more interesting than what we actually got and there's plenty of character potential there, but the approach would need to involve setting fire to a lot of the rest of SEED because its foundationally shit. it would absolutely have been better if for no other reason than Kira would have less screentime.
anyway ty for sending in the ask!! this was really interesting to think about :3

My thoughts on the Miraculous Seasons!
Yeah, I'll be talking about the Miraculous seasons, including it's specials and movie.
Maybe I'll do another post talking about my thoughts on the sixth season of the series. With the things we have.
Season 1
It's decent. It has it's good episodes (Stormy Weather, The Evillustrator, Bubbler, etc), and bad episodes (Pharaoh, Origins [specially the second part], Kung Food, etc).
The animation it's pretty good, and the characters are good too.
Season 2
The best season indeed!
Here we have the best episodes (The redemption arc of Chloe, Gorizilla, Sandboy and The Heroes' Day).
The characters have been really good, the plot was amazing at this point, etc.
It's funny because Thomas wasn't really involved in this season, Jeremy Zag was.
Season 3
And here the quality started to decrease.
The plot was trying to be more dramatic and serious (like Amphibia did later), but it was like "this show is family friendly, now it's really dramatic!".
The episodes have been mediocre (Oblivio or Feast), bad (Desperada or Bakerix), or garbage (Animaestro, Chat Blanc, Ladybug and the finale).
And of course, the characters have been really bad, especially Marinette and Fu.
Season 4
This season was amazing... I'm lying, in fact, it's really bad.
There was only three good episodes (Mega Leech, Guiltrip and Crocoduel), the rest were going to be bad, to cringey (Wishmaker), to... Qlin (one of the WORST episodes of the entire animation).
And the characters have been really annoying, like Adrien with his stupid "I feel alone" drama with Ladybug and the heroes. It's really stupid and useless.
And don't make me talk about Zoe Lee. I'm just saying that Aurore Beaureal is a character. She would have been more useful with the Bee Miraculous.
Btw, even the animation was horrible here (watch Simpleman, the most unbeta episode, and you'll understand my point).
Season 5
...
What the fuck?!
-Me watching the season 5.
This is the WORST season of the series (and take my words, maybe season 6 is even worse). It's like the pretentious version of Sonichu, but without the creepy instances that wouldn't be family friendly.
This season was so bad, that only ONE episode was pretty decent (Perfection, and it's thanks to Kagami), the rest was really, REALLY terrible (Derision it's a fairly odd parents retcon but even worse, Revelation it's stupid, Collusion it's the worst political episode, Revolution it's the perfect example of Thomas being Chris Chan with Chloe, Representation it's a really bad pretentious fanfic, and the final episodes of the season have been an insult).
Even the animation was horrible here too. The colors have been disgustingly saturated, and didn't help the episodes.
And don't make me talk about its "dramatic" moments... I CAN'T EVEN REFER IT LIKE "DRAMATIC MOMENTS" BECAUSE IT'S AN INSULT.
Bonus: SPECIALS
Miraculous New York
It's garbage, it's only a longer chapter of the series but barely during an hour.
Only one character was good (Sparrow), and it was eliminated just because of the "feminist subplot"...
I'm really missing Chloe's subplot for this special...
And Ladybug was really annoying, of course.
Miraculous Shangai
The best special, but still is bad.
The only good thing about this thing is Fei and the worldbuilding of the special. But the rest was really bad.
And no Thomas, I'm not going to sympathize with Marinette, literally she stalked Adrien going to Shangai and following him with an app...
Miraculous Paris
Here's where I'm going to be dead...
I think this special is really overated, and for me it's really bad.
At least the animation was pretty decent, but that's the only thing I can say...
But the AU concept was really poor, and it's like "we need to be like the Spiderverse".
And the characters have been poorly executed, especially Gabriel, Adrien and Marinette from the "reverse" AU (I can't define it as a reverse AU when only three characters change to be opposites).

the more i grew up, the more i hate warrior cats for butchering essentially every single one of their character with HORRIBLE writing. not to mention terrible plots and wasted potentials. and cultural appropriation...
if not for the fandom, warriors WOULD and SHOULD HAVE been dead long ago, most fans don't even consume the book as is anymore, they just live off AUs and ocs.
i resented warriors A LOT because growing up it was a great obsession of mine. part of my identity. then the series got so bad i forced myself to distance from it. in fact now that i think about it not one good thing came out of warriors except for people who got inspired to do art (like me! i started drawing because of warriors).

YOU MAY KNOW ME BY MY MORE COLOURFUL MONIKER ... HOOK.
an infamous pirate across all seven seas, killian jones was not always captain hook. a man with a code, he braved through the seas in search of riches and found something infinitely more valuable instead: love. it was upon losing it that his legend turned somber and his spirit voracious. without care for anything other than his insatiable thirst for revenge, the captain is a charming man capable of being terrible. there are no limits as to what he wouldn't do to achieve his revenge – his heart has turned rotten, and there may be no salvation for it.
" his eyes were the blue of the forget-me-not, and of a profound melancholy, save when he was plunging his hook into you, at which time two red spots appeared in them and lit them up horribly. in manner, something of the great seigneur still clung to him, so that he even ripped you up with an air, and I have been told he was a raconteur of repute. he was never more sinister than when he was most polite, which is probably the truest test of breeding. "
𝙿𝙾𝚁𝚃𝚁𝙰𝚈𝙰𝙻 𝙽𝙾𝚃𝙴𝚂: my portrayal of killian will blend both his show canon as well as elements from his character from the j.m barrie's novel, the dark and sinister man that he can be. i love both versions dearly and will adjust depending on verses – quite happy to make him his softer self when interacting with other ouat characters. also, in regards to his romantic journey on the show, i assume nothing with emma roleplayers! although i love cs, i do prefer to plot their dynamics a little before jumping into canon territory.
STORYBROOKE, the first curse › JAMES ROGERS is an underpaid police deputy with a bad attitude and an affinity for rum. By day, he works at storybrooke’s police station with a perpetual frown on his face and an unwillingness to truly be of service to the community. while sheriff graham is ever the golden boy, well-liked by the people in the little town, rogers stands as the unpopular ne'er- do-well half who’d much rather be at a gig in the rabbit hole than patrolling the three streets of storybrooke. in the evenings, he is the lead singer of local rock band the buccaneers, who can’t for the life of them make it past the town border with their music. must be the curse, of course. not the fact that they're just really not that good.
DARK AND SINISTER MAN, the captain › this verse intends to cover his days as a pirate navigating through the seas. could be pretty much based on any form of worlds, as the jolly roger is equipped with magical properties that allow for interdimensional traveling between realms. he will solely go by captain hook in this portion of his story, at his most malicious.
AU VERSES UNDER THE CUT:
THE FEVER, THE RAGE, gotham / dc › detective killian jones was a stand-up member of the gcpd. dedicated and incorruptible, he and his brother liam did all they could to maintain their code of honor and fight for what's right. but in a rotten city, such is a fool's errand. the duo is tragically separated when liam is killed in an mob ambush that costs killian not only his brother, but his hand. jones becomes insatiable after the fact, thirsty for revenge. he abandons all forms of morality he knows and becomes determined to make those who killed liam pay for their crime.
killian soon becomes the thing he's hunting. after taking down the operations of mobster known as rumplestiltskin through less than orthodox means, he takes the crown for himself. leaving behind his life of crime-fighting, killian turns the tide. the club once owned by rumple becomes his, and is aptly renamed THE ROGER, a pirate themed environment that is befitting of its new captain: HOOK, for now the detective wears one in the place of his left hand. he becomes gotham city's brand new mobster, with a small gang of his own and a reputation he intends to only make more gruesome.
FABLETOWN'S HOOK, vertigo's fables › Captain Hook is more accustomed to the mundane world than most. For one, he goes by the name of KILLIAN JONES rather than his more colourful moniker. For another, he found a way to sail swimmingly in the waters of the new world; though it did take some time for him to find this particular set of sea legs. Hook came into his money during the 20th century, where the age of the internet came to be and he embarked on it readily.
Killian became incredibly apt at computer science, his interest in the subject being sparked by the sheer interest in exploiting this new age to its fullest – specifically, to his advantage. He saw the opportunity in virtual piracy, having become ( arguably ) the first internet pirate. He started out with a small, simple scams, but as the technology progressed and the phenomenon of the internet grew bigger than anyone could possibly imagine, so did Hook’s empire. Though most his business is integrated well within the mundane world, Killian still lives in Fabletown, New York City. He owns an apartment at the Woodland, and his most trusted assistant is one Mr. Smee. His company was made on shaky grounds, morally and legally, but now boasts a reputation for being an exquisite virtual security company ( thanks to the viruses Killian himself releases ) as well as developer. The government of Fabletown is very generous to him, counting on his yearly donations at Remembrance Day to keep things afloat.
THE WORLD IS QUIET HERE, asoue › Killian Jones is an active VOLUNTEER of the secret organisation known as VFD. He is the younger brother of Liam Jones, who was the sole reason why Killian stayed on the fire fighting side of the schism rather than the alternative, which really would have suited the man’s inclination for trouble and insubordination much better. However, as it often occurs in the life of a volunteer, Killian had the misfortune of outliving his brother. Liam was one the first casualties of the schism, having been killed under mysterious circumstances aboard a sailing boat with little else around him but a fish hook, a compass and an out of place string of tagliatelle grande. Killian mourned his brother as any in his situation would: solidifying his position in the fire-fighters' side and becoming one of its most active field operatives. The desire to avenge his brother’s death still simmers underneath the surface, making the last standing Jones very willing to eliminate the threat that the fire starters pose on the first opportunity that arises, though the chance never quite seems to come about.
THE NEED FOR SPEED, top gun › lieutenant killian "hook" jones is a legacy of the top gun program, being the brother of the late liam jones, who died honorably in battle ( although killian has his doubts about calling it that ). with his heart in the skies, killian is a reckless pilot who attempts one too many risky maneuvers. he is bold, he is brash and he is damn charming. doesn't give a damn about anything other than himself or his bird.
FORTUNE AND GLORY, mercenary › set on modern days, killian jones is an infamous mercenary with a dodgy past that he keeps close to his chest. no one really know why he does what he does, but he's the best at it. killian is an incredible sailor and performs most his assignments and operations through the seas, which sets him apart from the competition. A MODERN DAY PIRATE in his own right. if you need something recovered by any means necessary, he's your guy.

Actually i will say on KAYF...
The basic premise of KAYF was an idea I first got roughly ten years ago after watching various vampire media. (Let the Right One In, Shiki, etc.) Not the whole plot, but the basic premise of a (queer) couple broken up by one becoming a vampire while their town is being destroyed by...well, vampires. Originally with my friend's and my Star Wars ocs from the MMO swtor we were obsessed with and made a billion AUs for, but very quickly it became its own thing in my head with new OCs.
But at that point in my life i was not writing fiction. I was always too self conscious of my writing because someone flamed my cringeybwriting on Neopets when I was, like...8 or something. So I literally went a full ass decade without writing fiction (with the exception of a couple attempts i immediately abandoned because I hated them) until I decided to try again with South Park fanfiction because i don't even know. Which includes The Thief, which I was shocked people liked. It was a TERRIBLE point in my life, I should say, so having people enjoy what I wrote and saying nice things about it was quite literally one of the only good things I had.
But anyway I still had that vampire idea in the back of my head, but just as random scenes that played in my head of the two main charades + the person who ended up being Estella. (Though originally her and Scott's role was combined.) The plot wasn't really defined or anything, but the basic ending was in my head from the very very beginning.
Anyway...2020. i was supposed to see MCR. Then COVID postponed it. I was very sad about this. So I extra emo-ly listened to a shit ton of MCR. And listening to MCR, suddenly I was thinking about that vampire story and their music pretty much helped me put the plot into place. The terminal illness plotline. The vampire of the pairing being obsessed to save his love and the cruelty from the other vampires regarding that. And ofc the song Kill All Your Friends itself gave me the set up of an IT-like time skip where someone died and they all go back.
They were all still 100% OCs in my head at this point. I didn't really have much confidence anyone would like these idea but, I was actively writing South Park fanfiction people liked well enough. I'd only ever written fanfiction. So I was like "huh I guess I can make this idea Creek".
So I did. And then wrote three chapters and didn't update for a full year.
But then in 2021 it became my ADHD obsession. I stopped caring about The Thief Trilogy. All I could think of was KAYF and wrote the rest of it in three or so months... Over 100k words. Pretty sure the update schedule was longer than that, but I spaced out chapters by a week long after I was finished.
And people seemed to like it. It was too dark to be as popular as the Thief Trilogy, but I knew that. It was a much more personal story, though, especially with how emotional it was, so it meant SO MUCH to me that anyone liked it. Also because The Thief Trilogy feels basically just like a bloated fanfiction adaptation of the SOT game to me, while KAYF feels like mine, so the kind words for it meant even more in a way.
Until someone I thought was a friend trashed it relentlessly. Like, I'm fine with constructive criticism but they were just horrible. Spoiled the plot for people who wanted to read it directly after i asked them not to, went on condescending rants about how there was too much filler, how Tweek in it was an awful character who deserved to die, claimed characters were all too unsympathetic, joked about parts I meant in earnest, etc. And they got really mad at me that my feelings were hurt by this. It was a whole thing.
Anyway, I'm still to this day years later obsessed with this story year. I think about it every day, which is probably more unhealthy ADHD shit. And I always think about how to make it better. I hate how I wrote it so fast and didn't think about certain details or pacing or what have you. Like, once I finished writing it, I was sad because I wanted to keep writing it. I still do.
I hate that I disappoint people by not having it out there. I want it out there, just not the version I rushed in three months.
So, for now, the fic is hidden. Indefinitely.
Anyway if you read all this tl;dr rambling congratulations I guess.

Honestly, I love your style, And I enjoy the way you design the characters we rarely see with the cloak off, like grimm or the pale king. But obviously, No artist is without his flaws, and I presume you do not view yourself to be without any. For starters, While the whole "Pale king is an innocent gubblemuncher" thing is cute, depending on how it's handled, It gets stale, fast. (especially considering purely how non-gubblemuncher PK is in the lore, but whatever, we can just ignore that-) Then, I have a bit of a nit to pick at with the way the "Feral PK au" was handled. Once again, similar issue to as I listed prior, PK being innocent and chill is cute, but it gets old fast, especially when the au is based around this characterization of the pale king. (Also, I didn't like PK and WL breaking up despite WL seeming to still care about him in the game, Unless there was some insane sit-com tier argument they had after PK reincarnated that I was never told about, But ig we needed a reason to ship grimm and pk, since, as most are aware, WL hates grimm's guts, so I doubt she would be ok with sharing, so it makes sense.) And finally, I don't like the missed potential of the "feral PK au". When I first heard of that au idea, I imagined a tragic story where PK comes back, But is almost a wild animal and WL ends up caging him bc she's too attached to let him go.... Instead, It's basically an artifact title, one that only applies to the act 1, maybe even just act 0.5, Possibly act 0.25 depending on how it worked. So, I think a more accurate title would be "palegrimm crack au" /j
(Note that "Gubblemuncher" is not an expression I meant to offend, It's 11:55 AM and I needed to make up something to describe a gremlin who is adorable in their own way.)
okay so uhh. i wanted to keep this short but i have a lot of things to say, though i'll get to the point right away. i don't appreciate those kinds of comments, i'm sorry
don't get me wrong, you have every right to dislike aspects of my au. there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. i'm aware that some of my takes are perhaps a little out there. i know many of them stray far away from canon. however, i never claimed that i wanted it to stick to canon, quite the opposite in fact
this au, the whole story, is something i do for myself. it's a little comfort space for me, that i decided to share with friends and other people because they showed interest and wanted to me to talk about it. i did not make it with the intention of creating a coherent narrative, or writing something sophisticated that would have a good plot. i'm not good at those things, i won't pretend otherwise. all this is, is just a silly self-indulgent au that means so, so much to me
and so i understand if some people don't vibe with it. that's perfectly fine, it's not for everyone. what i'm not fine with is people telling me how they think i should write the characters or where they think i should take the story, treating it as if the au is meant to cater to them. that is not what you'll find here, i'm sorry. i find comments like "this is a missed potential" to be a bit rude and quite discouraging, especially since i've never done anything like this and so i'm very insecure about it
some parts of this ask come off as a bit passive-aggressive to me, but that could very well be me overthinking. and because i don't like assuming the worst in people, i want to clear some misconceptions i saw here instead
first of all, the au is not built around the idea that pk is innocent. i've stated before that i don't agree with that notion, he has done terrible things and that should not be ignored. the difference here is that i try to make him more nuanced, and i've personally always loved the theme of well-meaning people committing horrible actions in the name of good. that is where i'm going with my interpretation. he tries to do well, he is very emotional and anxious, he wants to make others happy and be loved. and yet he's still responsible for the deaths of so, so many beings that did not deserve that fate. that is not something i want to ignore, it's something that haunts him constantly, and is a huge part of his character, his struggles and his arc in the au
the reason why you rarely see that portrayed in my art is because, like i said, this is something i do for myself. while i enjoy thinking about more emotional aspects of it, i also want to find happiness and comfort in it, and so i prioritize wholesome art, as that is what i find the most comforting. perhaps it is my fault that i'm not clear enough about this, and if so, i'll try to do better
i will be more short and to the point with the next part, as i've answered many asks about this topic in the past. but no, fpk and wl did not separate because of grimm. they did not separate because of a "sitcom tier argument" either. it was a result of their vastly different approaches to dealing with their guilt and shame (among other things about their relationship), and they divorced while still on good terms. this would've happened in the au even without grimm in the picture, so no, i did not just get rid of wl to make space for the ship i like. that was never my intention, even if pale nightmare is my preferred ship
lastly, about the name of the au, i mentioned before that it wasn't a conscious decision to name it that, people simply started calling him "feral pk" and i decided to keep it. for convenience, and because i thought it had a nice ring to it. that being said, it's still accurate to his character in the au. he doesn't simply "drop the feral act" once he reunites with his family, his instincts are a part of him now. throughout the whole story of the au, he is by all accounts "feral". if you had different expectations for this, then i'm afraid that is on you. you are free to explore the idea you had yourself, it sounds interesting. but it's not something i wanted to do
like i said. i don't want to assume that your intentions were to be rude. but i wanted to respond anyway to clear possible misunderstandings, and emphasize that i don't like seeing comments like this. still, i hope you have a good day anon. if you did not mean for me to interpret it like this, then know that i don't hold it against you. we're all here to enjoy ourselves, but some boundaries need to be made, and this is where i set mine. i hope you understand

Well, work is picking up again. It was nice while it lasted. Kinda eager to switch jobs but I gotta line some stuff up and make sure I'm not just ditching my (insufferable but semi-decent paying job) for nothing.
Anyway, I recently discovered there ARE in fact, pieces of Thatch merch. Horribly expensive but I want to have at least something for him. I've seen two figures, one of which... No. The face is kinda horrible lmao, wide fish eyes it's kinda unnerving. And the other was like, almost two hundred bucks and a 2025 preorder Jesus.
So like, if any of you can hook a girl up for good quality merch let me know. It's embarrassing to have a favorite baby girl and not anything for him to display in my room. I'd prefer something officially sanctioned cause I prefer to support the original work first and foremost but I'm not totally against fan made as long as it's not frankly terrible. (Looking at you, Amazon blankets with the texture of cardboard with stolen fanart plastered unflatteringly on it) I've got an Ace figure I just left in my closet cause his face and body was kinda jank as shit and I don't like looking at uncanny stuff.
Anyway!
I've officially cleaned and rearranged my room, so it's quite nice now, though I'll need to readjust to having a nightstand on either side again. And I've gotten a few more pieces for my custom desktop, but still just shy of 2k worth of equipment to buy over time to actually build it. One day, I'll have a nice computer to play shit on lol
I've still got my wips and I've refrained from starting anything new. Though I've been tempted to map out a plot line for the Ambiguous Intent hitman AU lol, if only for the shipping.
Got some zine work to do, that I keep putting off whoops. But so far it's just confirmed as one fic piece. Once the other zine is established I'll have another fic, and probably at least two art pieces to work on.
And I want to do a holiday event again! Either Halloween or Christmas at least lol, so there's a strong possibility we have that to look forward to. Burnout slammed into me so damn hard and it's taken so much energy to not spiral into anxiety and depression won't even lie. Fun times.
I need to get a GP finally and maybe get onto some medication for that. It's been a weirdly persistent problem for a while now. Or therapy. Possibly both.
Oh! And I looked at frames online and I never realized how fucking cute glasses could be?!? I only ever got in store frames and they're usually not too out there in anything but price! But there's prescription heart glasses?!? How adorable!?!
I wouldn't wear it daily but I just might turn into Ms. Frizzle with themed outfits if I'm not careful lol
Would require getting my prescription updated first though. Sucks to live in a house of perpetual procrastinators. Myself included.
