They go after him, screeching to a halt once they take the turn, horrified at the scene before them.

Angel Dust, standing just around the corner, holding onto Alastor with all six arms as he trashes in the hold: I got him, you have to do it now!

Angel Dust, smiling sadly in defeat: There's no other way, Charlie, it's our only chance.

Alastor, squirming and kicking out as he tries to bite Angel's arms off: LET GO OF ME, YOU OVERSIZED FURRY LAMPPOST!

Husk, taking a step towards Angel, face twisting in devastation: Angel, please-

Angel Dust, turning his face away and gritting his teeth: NOW, I CAN'T HOLD HIM MUCH LONGER!

Niffty, pointing the hose at them: BATH TIME FOR THE BOSS! HAHAHAHA!

Angel and Alastor proceed to be completely soaked by the stream of water sent their way, Alastor screeching as if he was being set on fire.

I feel like there aren’t enough fics where Charlie takes on a protective role in Radioapple stories. I’d love to see her saying things like, “Stay away from my dad,” or “You can do so much better than Alastor.” Whether it’s before or after they get together, I just want to see her whole demeanor change. The roles would reverse, with Charlie now refusing to let Alastor anywhere near her dad. She wouldn’t trust them alone together and would be completely against them interacting—just like how Lucifer was when he was protective of Charlie.

Or maybe it could be a scenario where Lucifer and Lilith are still married, and Charlie confronts Alastor for pursuing someone who’s already taken. Something along those lines.
