Shadow milk isn't exactly keen on confidently calling pure Vanilla a cookie, he pauses before he says it (this is even transitional through the different languages)

I do believe cacao and pure vanillas situations are very different however. Shadow milk seems content on using pure vanilla whereas pomegranate simply didn't know any better. Think as a weapon or an equal being (shadow milk has a non-cookie form scripted to be a boss next half. The avatar could be pure vanillas for all we know and smilk just happens to know before ov himself)

Where cacaos seems to be a curse through the jam itself by external means,, PVs looks more like a form brought on by his cookie body being smth like a vessel that broke due to another breaking point (this idea comes to mind when reading the descriptions of the avatars skills)

This one's entirely visual but I should like to note that the pupil being voided and a diamond is a trait both recluse and the avatar share. If you about the awakening form, yk further visual evidence

Truthless Recluse and The Avatar of Destiny are extremely similar in design

Even before we found many similarities between Pure Vanilla and the Avatar of Destiny, but now it seems undeniable. The chocolate drips mirroring Pure Vanillas original design, the robe-like scarf mirroring Truthless Recluse's ropes, it all is eerily similar.

Point 2; similar bosses

During the Shadow Milk update, we have found similar boss types to Avatar of Destiny, visually and in attack style.

I'd like to draw a parallel to the Tricolored Zealot, which is the first in the boss rush and also appeared within the Pure Vanilla kingdom

You can see a similar motif in design, and in dessert motifs there is both vanilla present (clearly in Avatar of Destiny, and indirectly with the Vanilla ice cream in the neopolitan ice cream design of the Tricolored Zealot) and with the presence of milk within both ingredients for ice cream.
