Six Sentence Sunday

i'm somehow back two weeks in a row with some more sentences. i haven't actually been writing the past several days but i have been listening to snowbazy songs and doing lots of thinking and i feel like that counts too.

so anyways here's six sad Baz sentences from a completely different fic from last time because I cannot work on just one thing at a time.

He knows it’s a bad idea. He also knows that I’d make the world spin backwards for him if he asked. (Even if he doesn’t know why.) I stop that train of thought and remind myself why I’m here. I’m not in some rom-com where Simon Snow invites me to his flat to watch him showily swallow one drink after the next before he drunkenly professes his love to me after all these years. I’m here because Snow needs to make some bad decisions, and he knows self-loathing is my specialty.

Six Sentence Sunday

very excited to see all your wips (and finished works!!) many thanks for the tags @monbons @thewholelemon and @fiend-for-culture !

everywhere i turn there is more snowbaz! i forgot how lovely COC time is and i'm trying to so hard to stay positive and excited about all the new content and not overwhelmed and guilty that i'm not able to scream about every single thing. (can you tell i had therapy this week and am using my big emotionally competent brain?)

i am slowly creeping closer and closer to a first draft! it's messy and chaotic and a lot of it is so so bad but i think this is the furthest i've every gotten on a fic before so i'm real excited. i just got to the big climax scene which is so stressful but i finally get to make my little barbie dolls kiss so, worth it.

Simon’s jaw is pushed forward, his teeth grinding together. He’s clenching his fists at his sides and I can hear him sucking in short, pinched breaths. All the classic Simon Snow signs that he’s spoiling for a fight.  I can’t do this with him right now. He’s standing too close and I can still feel the ghost of his hand on my wrist. There’s a light on the building behind him that’s casting a hazy glow around his edges.

i'm feeling very sappy and grateful with the whole sense of community the countdown always brings so just this once: a big old forehead smooch to each of you <3
