Day 2 - Warm feelings

Nothing makes me kick my feet more than my non WH friends telling me they assumed Dandy was canon cause the design fit the world or matches well with the other characters.

What if the sinners looks are all actually based on the things they hated about themselves in their lives as another punishment of hell?

Angel hated being a part of a crime family, hated how they were all so closely woven together, and so he became a spider in hell. Maybe he actually hated all his feminine atributes when he was alive, maybe his family would make fun of the fact he was paler and thinner due to his obsessive drug use and thats why in hell he has overly exaggerated long limbs and a feminine build.

Alastor takes the form of a deer in his true demon form (antlers and the like) because he hated the idea of being prey, and the fact that he (a literal serial killer who probably took a lot of enjoyment from the power he held) was killed like some weak animal, literally hunted for sport. Maybe his yellowing teeth and obnoxious smile are actually there to remind him of what he couldn't do in life. Maybe he wanted to be a tv star or a stage star, but he couldn't because of the way he looked (yellow teeth, threatening smile = bad for tv in the 40s) and so he became a radio star because that way nobody can see his face.

Husk takes the form of frail looking cat because when he was alive, probably in his later years of life and gambling, he started to take less risks and became known as a "pussy" of a gambler. He was older than a lot of the people around him and was often pushed aside to make way to the younger, newer faces, and so in hell he keeps that sort of hunched over, older man look.

I have a question that I don't know the answer to. And I'm not sure if there's already an answer to this or not.

Why is Wally the only neighbor with no noes and no eyebrows? Was that like a way to make Wally seem like an outcast or something??

It droved me crazy with confusion the first time I realized this.......

And PLEASE don't see this as an ask of me "JUST noticing now". I noticed a month ago (ever sense I first started loving Welcome Home as a hyperfixation) but I kept it to myself because I was too embarrassed to ask to really know. And it's really ok if you don't know either.

oh yeah no to my knowledge we don't know why that's a Design Choice That Exists! could be to make him look a little more unsettling than the others (more out of place within his own niche to kinda mirror how he's Different despite filling the role he's made for & existing in the place he Should Be In) bc this is a Horror project, or just because no nose/eyebrows looked best on him-

but it might be something we're not In On yet! lore we haven't learned! we just don't know

Things I think about all the time regarding Peter B is how a lot of his movement feels almost like laziness but it's actually just an absurd amount of skill and experience. he's been doing this longer than anyone else there, so he knows how that villain speech is going to play out, doesn't look when he fires a web because he knows exactly where it's going to land, and he's absolutely able to predict where Miles is going to go and catch up to him when no one else can. because peter b has been at this longer than everyone else there and it's literally second nature to him. give me more middle aged experienced superheros please.

Sukuna's the type of husband where of course when you describe him as someone that still blushes when he gives you flowers, your coworkers are gonna imagine someone soft. Small.

Of course when you beam at those tiny doodles along your fingers that he loves to draw, they're gonna picture you holding hands with someone that has an equally blinding smile - and the same doodles to match.

Of course when show off that custom-cut wedding ring he so meticulously designed, they're so happy for you and your wholesome husband.

Of course when they catch sight of that towering, tatted-up man blocking the doorway to your workplace, looking so menacing, their first thought is to hide. Every single employee in that room - except for you, who only runs up to trap him in a big hug. Head tilting up with a quiet, "You're late, Kuna."

And of course their jaws drop when they catch sight of the bouquet in his hand, held by fingers with tattoos matching your doodles - and a big, flashy wedding ring to boot. Of course this was the husband.
