スマートウォッチみたいなやつを捨てた

これはchocoZAPになる前のFitfieldに入会した時に特典で貰ったやつ。

なんで二つあるかというと、謎に2回送られてきたから

これと体重計セットなんだけど体重計も二つある。

説明書見たら、iOSアプリがあって連携して記録を取れたりするらしい。そのアプリのレビューは散々だった。

一旦休会した時期あってその間にFitfieldからchocoZAPになってchocoZAPに新規入会した。また同じスターターキット貰った…

フリマで売ろうかな思ったけど無名ブランドで安物の中華製品だから売れないだろうし面倒だから出品すらしとらん。でもいつか出品しよとか乞食根性で色々考えたけど何もせず結果放置してたやつ。

思い切って捨てた。

けどバンドの部分だけはもしかして元々持ってるXiaomiのBand5にフィットするかもとか思って未練がましく残してある。Band5も暫く使ってないし探したけど見当たらんレベルなのに…

一旦試してみて合わなければ捨てる予定

Smartwatch got water ( it's rated for swimming and I've been taking it to the pool for more than 3 years , I guess the seal gave up).

It was really good for a Chinese smartwatch that cost 60€ but the software was atrocious.

A while ago, in a post I can't be bothered to find, I mentioned that I was experiencing symptoms that are typical of narcolepsy. A month ago, I finally talked to a doctor about it and he had me do some exams.

The exam results concluded that I don't have narcolepsy. I'm just very sleepy all the time for unexplainable reasons.

"It's sleep deprivation," says the doctor.

How can it be sleep deprivation if I sleep ALL THE TIME? That sounds like the opposite of sleep deprivation?!

"It's depression," say medical articles on the internet. Because apparently everything that is wrong with you for no apparent reason is due to depression these days.

Anyway, even though it's Not Narcolepsy™, the doctor prescribed some medicine for narcolepsy (🤷) to take in the morning as well as medicine to help me sleep at night.

The narcolepsy med actually helps. It doesn't make the random sleepiness attacks go away completely, but they're easier to resist now. The sleeping med is completely useless, though.

Anyway, since I still feel dangerously sleepy when I'm trying to study, I've been looking into some kind of app or device that could help me stay awake. Maybe a smartwatch/smartband that vibrates when it detects that I fell asleep?

I COULD use a plain old alarm clock app, but I don't want to set it to sound every ten minutes all day, that'd be super annoying for me and everyone around me. 😑
