I hate women’s clothing sizes so much. Why is it not universal??
My pants are M, size 14, size 12, L, size 16??? My shirts are M, L, XL, petite L??
There’s no way I should be able to wear all of these sizes and they all look the same on my body.

I'm finally able to start wearing more clothes that are size 16,i still have to wear some xl stuff because some places on my body is that the weight is taking its time to come off but I'm one month into loosing weight, I'm happy though that it's going well 🎉
I aim to get down to a 14 or 12 like I was when I was younger and stay that way this time because I need this 🙏💖

Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked in the round from the top down with increases for upper skirt shaping.
Dc rounds are started with a modified turning chain, a single crochet is worked without a ch-1 turning chain, followed by 2 chains to create the height needed for dc. When working the next round the top of the ch-2 is worked as the top of a regular dc st.
To make the skirt longer add rounds without increases between the increase rounds (for a shorter skirt, subtract rounds without increases between the increase rounds. The last round of the upper skirt needs to have a number of stitches divisible by 14 for the lace pattern set-up.
Drawstring for the skirt is a Crocheted Romanian Cord. If you need help there is a great video on Stitches n Scraps YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vniz9CAREVs Pattern Upper Skirt

Yeah that’s not going to work for me.
Tumblr media
...
Neither is this (tale as old as time), but I appreciate the thigh measurement segment. That’s something that’s often been a problem for me trying to order pants. I’ll get a pair that’s supposed to fit my hips at least and can’t pull them up past my knees because the legs are so tight.
Both pair of pants would have about 6 inches too much waist and there isn’t even a measurement for thighs on the men’s cut.
I might be able to get away with a 14 (uh... if they had any 14s in stock...), but it would be, like always, too tight in one spot and way too loose everywhere else.
Right now I’m wearing a US 12 from 5.11 and it’s MUCH too tight in the thigh and across my butt. I’ve been wearing these pants since I was at my lightest and was comfortable with how loose they were.
If I had Many Monies I could get the 16 (I’d probably be more comfortable in the 18 in the thigh really... I prefer a loose fit) and get them tailored.
Maybe an 18 would work after all... Other than falling off of my butt constantly.
I don’t know. I hate shopping for pants but can’t fit into my 5.11s anymore and need new ones.
-
I hadn’t measured my thighs since I gained a bunch of weight and it’s funny how my weight distribution has drastically changed.
I mean, I knew it was going to happen. Every woman on both sides of my family did the same thing (other than my younger aunt who’s always been very heavy). Relatively small until 40 and then BLOOP suddenly rather heavy and mostly around the middle.
Up until the sudden weight gain I was 36-28-38 with a thigh measurement of 28 inches, and now I’m 35 (I have a shirt and a soft bra on so this may be a 34 actually)-32-42 with a 26 inch thigh. I’m all butt and gut now. It’s also funny that my bust measurement has gone down but my boobs are a lot bigger. I have cleavage now!! It’s all upper body fat and muscle that’s gone. Migrated to my bingo wings.
-
I was thinking about just yesterday how I’ve gotten too big for all of my favorite clothes and I would be angry about that if they weren’t also falling to rags because I’ve worn them for years and years.
I’ve already replaced my favorite pajamas but maybe should have looked for an XL instead of an L, and I bought some new pajamas but need to get more and let go of the smaller ones that are falling apart.
Clothes I’d bought extra big on me now fit and that’s both amusing and distressing.
I would like my body to stay about one size please. Pick one and stick with it.

What Is a Micro Bully Puppy?
Tumblr media
Micro Bullies represent one of the recent and most in-demand hybrid breeds in the American Bully family. These dogs closely resemble their larger counterparts but are the smallest and lightest version of the breed. Instead of being purebred, a Micro Bully is a combination of a Pocket Bully and a Patterdale Terrier. To elaborate further, the Pocket Bully, sometimes called a Pocket Pitbull, is a crossbreed of an American Bully and a Patterdale Terrier, resulting in a smaller size compared to the Standard Bully. The Micro Bully maintains the robust Bully appearance but is intentionally bred to be even smaller by introducing another Terrier into the mix. These hybrids fall under the category of Exotic Bully breeds and gained recognition as a distinct breed around 2008, with the Micro Bully being the latest addition.
This lineage of dogs is highly sought after due to their attractiveness, intelligence, and family-friendly nature. Similar to other designer-cross breeds like the Labradoodle and Cockapoo, blending the American Bully with the Patterdale Terrier allows for the preservation of familiar features while incorporating other desirable traits. Consequently, there is a growing interest in acquiring this remarkable hybrid, which offers the strongest and most compact version of a Bully dog currently available.
Know About A Bully Dog
A Bully dog, also referred to as a Bully Pit, Exotic, or Extreme Bully, originated in the 1980s in the United States and officially became a recognized breed in 2004. The term "Bully Dog" is a broad description encompassing various dogs characterized by a muscular and blocky appearance. This term includes dogs with "bull" in their names, such as the American Pitbull, French Bulldog, and the English Bulldog. Some believe that the American Bulldog, Old English Bulldog, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier contributed to the development of the American Bully breed.
Distinguishing between the different types of Exotic Bully breeds within the American Bully bloodlines can be perplexing. As this is a relatively recent breed with evolving standards, references to authorities like the American Bully Kennel Club can clarify the primary distinctions in breed types. It's crucial to recognize that Micro, Standard, Pocket, and XL Bullies essentially represent the same dog, differing only in height. In contrast, the Classic Bully is distinguished by its particular type.
The Size Of Classic Bully, Pocket, and Micro Bully Puppy
The Classic Bully is a bit smaller than the standard American Bully, standing 16-20" tall, and weighing less than 60 lbs.
Pocket Bullies, are 14-19" tall, with weight varying based on their muscular build. Retaining the strong qualities cherished by bully breed enthusiasts, these dogs are occasionally known as Pocket Pitbulls or Shorty Bullies.
The Micro Bully is a smaller category within Pocket Bullies, staying under 16" tall and weighing less than 50 lbs when fully grown. Despite their size, they have a sturdy and muscular build, inheriting traits from Exotic Bully breeds but in a more compact form.
These dogs are great for smaller homes or yards, fitting in well with families. They are often referred to as Miniature Pitbulls, but it's essential to distinguish them from the separate Pitbull and American Bully breeds.
The Cost Of A Micro Bully Puppy
The cost of a Micro Bully puppy depends on your plans for the dog. If you're getting one for breeding from a top-notch bloodline, it will be more expensive compared to a puppy intended as a family pet. It's crucial to buy from a trustworthy breeder to avoid getting a larger Bully falsely labeled as a Micro. For instance, Venom, a well-known Micro Exotic Bully in the United States, produces similar puppies that can begin at approximately $9,000.

11. lol i don't have one hahaha.
12. hmm that's a good question, i usually stick to fruits i try to stay away from meat and dairy, however it's not always easy. but for a good day, I'll have my black coffee in the morning and then like a garden salad in the afternoon.

so there is this super pretty dress that I’ve literally been eyeing for almost a month now and I fINALLY ordered it bc it was on sale for half off (it’s literally a hundred bucks) it came in the mail today and I’m in lOVE it fits so nicely and it’s giving all witchy-summery-cottagecorey vibes I could’ve asked for
link below the cut for any dress lovers out there it’s from the gap!! the same sale is still happening (on the Canadian website) !
I ordered it in an XL and I’m usually between a size 14-16. I would definitely keep in mind that it’s pretty low cut and though I’m relatively small in the chest I was able to tie the strings at the bust tighter and it worked out pretty well!!! I got it in the black and I’m seriously considering the orange now too !!

She is……… not even close to mid size. Mid-size would be US size 16-18. She’s MAYBE a size 8 with wide hips. Please please please let’s not set unrealistic standards by calling someone like that ‘curvy and mid sized’
i don't think we should look at a body and say "you are a size 8", that is also damageable. all bodies are different and it's impossible to tell anyone's size or weight based on appearance.
that being said, i thought mid-size was like us size 10-14 or L/XL? it's also what a quick google search tells me and what my 15 years of shopping with a plus size body tells me.
i'm sorry, i truly don't mean to set unrealistic standards. curvy and mid size is definitely NOT an insult to me and i absolutely did not mean it that way at all. i was celebrating the fact that she is indeed not a "skinny" woman (which is also not an insult). also she IS curvy, curvy is a word that can be used to matter the person's body size and definitely not an insult.
i'm a size 22/2-3X btw, i definitely am not trying to set any unrealistic standards lol, i was just happy to see some kind of representation other than a thin white woman as a love interest for the hot fit dude because we almost never see it.
