Watched Behind Her Eyes because I read many people say it had an unexpected, super mind-blowing twist and I was really craving a mind-bending, thrilling watch. I liked how the show maintained that eerie feeling of something being wrong but the viewer can't quite figure out what. However.... major spoilers in the paragraph below
Major spoilers here: Somewhere in episode 5, I did figure out where everything was going and realised that Adele wasn't Adele and very well could be Rob...so the ~twist~ wasn't that mind-blowing to me...I actually enjoyed most until episode 4 when the mystery was at its peak. Things became a bit predictable after that. Also...I can't stand it when characters act dumb and stupid. Why tf didn't Louise call the police and the fire department at the end? Why on earth did she decide to do that projection thing on the doorstep of a house about to burst in fire???? These things ruin a show that's been consistent with everything for 5.9 episodes :/
But still the show was a good and very quick watch and pretty satisfying.

CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW
Tiana Broussard is based on Tiana from The Princess and The Frog. She is a 29 year old cursed human, restaurant owner, and uses she/her pronouns. She has the power of spontaneous shifting. Tiana is portrayed by Simona Brown and she is open.
CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE
Tiana knew from a very young age exactly what she wanted to be when she grew up, her dream carried so much passion and determination it almost leaped off of the page to life whenever she spoke about it. Opening her own restaurant with her father, cooking side by side, bringing people together. When Tiana lost her father to ill health, that dream was momentarily shattered, because how else could she go on without her daddy? He was everything to her. But Tiana’s Place was more than a porch dream, it was a lifetime goal for both of them, and Tiana was damn sure she would succeed in it, not just for herself but for her father. Through setbacks, and heartbreaks, hard work and tears, praying and a lot of late nights Tiana finally reached the summit; now it was time to make it work. Nothing was ever handed to Tiana, and no amount of wishing or hoping could get her where she needed to be. She had sacrificed so much of her life, worked countless crappy jobs, saved every single penny and broke glass ceilings to get Tiana’s Place up and running, only to find... here was where the real work started. Staffing, insurance, bills, vendors coming at her from every angle, and just barely making enough to keep the restaurant afloat, much less have any excess spending money. Working twice as hard and doing almost everything herself to cut back on costs, she was too proud to admit she needed help, too afraid to lose her dream. She just wanted to succeed for herself, for her daddy, for the both of them. Maybe it’s time to put faith into the cosmos and like every other chump in Evermore, make a wish.
I HAD A FEELING SO PECULIAR
❀ Kida Nedakh: Old souls, the two of them, Tiana finds comfort in Kida's company. Sometimes she is sure there is more than meets the eye with the other woman, but whatever it is, she knows Kida is a true friend. ❀ Adam Janssen: There’s a guy to put a sour taste in your mouth and his restaurant isn't even that good! And one day Tiana will give him a peace of her mind, and a lesson or two in cooking. ❀ Johnny Loughran: Its not that Tiana is bugged out by Johnny’s constant chatting about adventures, its just that maybe she’s too much of a homebird to let her guard down and be as spontaneous.
THIS PAIN WOULD BE FOR EVERMORE

*cackling at the placement of Violet & Edmund over the S1 couple* 😆
I didn’t finish S1 of Bridgerton as it didn’t fully click for me, Duke of Hastings eye candy aside. I’ve meant to pick it back up (similar to my taking a break after Jane the Virgin’s Michael was killed off) but it just hasn’t happened. I guess lack of interest in continuing.
Tumblr media
I fucking love the Charlotte & George story in Queen Charlotte. 💖 That’s my number one coupling too.
Tumblr media
I will start S2 of Brigderton in the near future cause I’ve heard and read nothing but good things about Kate & Anthony’s romance. 🍷
Tumblr media
I don’t know if I will watch S3 of Bridgerton.  🤷🏼‍♀️
I do know that I want Simona Brown cast as Sophie Beckett for Bridgerton S4. I would watch that!
Tumblr media
Daphne & Simon started off as my favorite Bridgerton ship (an easy feat considering they were the only one for awhile there) but now they have slipped to last place.
You'd think Penelope & Colin would be last but alas I enjoy them even more than I do the Duke & Duchess of Hastings.
I blame the lying on his part and the assault on her part.
Current Rankings are as follows:
Charlotte & George
Kate & Anthony
Penelope & Colin
Violet & Edmund (never seen them in a scene together but no matter)
Daphne & Simon

Astrological placements behind Destiny Swapping
I just finished a video from Chokoladka about Destiny swapping. (I really recommend giving it a watch) Which made me think about this post by @rose-maidenn relating mars nakshatras to destiny swapping. I had looked into the charts of known people accused of being destiny swappers (ex. Beyoncé, Kim kardashian, Cardi B, etc) Common placements I seen, besides mars nakshatras, was the presence of Vishakha & Venus dominance. Beyoncé has Purva Phalguni Sun & Vishakha moon, Cardi b has mercury AK in Vishakha. Whereas, Kim k has Venus AK in Vishakha. Lady Gaga Rohini (Taurus) Asc & Swati (Libra) moon, Drake has Vishakha Venus (AK) & Mercury.
Tumblr media
In the Netflix series Behind Her Eyes the character, Rob, had Destiny swapped with Adele by getting close enough to her. Then tricking her into Astro projecting and taking over her body. Rob (Robert Aramayo) has Vishakha Sun which also serves as his Amk.
Tumblr media
After taking over Adele’s body her husband notices that she is not the same, their marriage is unhappy and he begins having affairs. One notable affair is with Louise (Simona Brown) After finding out about the affair and how much the husband adores her. Rob (in Adele’s body) befriends Adele in hopes of taking her body as well. Louise has Dhanishtha Sun & Venus AK. Adele has Bharani (Aries) moon and prevalent Magha (Leo) placements. This shows that not only can mars dom placements destiny swap with others but also be susceptible to Destiny swapping themselves.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dhanishtha already being known as the nakshatra most prevalent for facing mass envy and karmic fame. Dhanishtha meaning “the wealthiest” or “the most famous.” Many trends are started by Dhanishtha natives do to others wanting to copy them.
Tumblr media
-Marilyn Monroe, Dhanishtha Moon
I would go as far to say, besides mars nakshatra, fire signs/rashis in general face problems with energy vampires & Destiny swappers because of their abundant energy and confident demeanor. Mars also being an aggressive and competitive planet in itself. Causing the natives to compete with others especially of the same gender.
Venus can destiny swap another due to its absorbant nature. Referencing @youremyheaven post on Venus natives subconsciously taking on the characteristics of another.
Tumblr media
I would say a pattern of common Destiny swappers charts was Venus dominant, Venus AK, sidereal Libra rashi, Mars Nakshatra (goes both ways) especially Chitra, Vishakha placements, especially Vishakha AK.
The victims usually had mars nakshatras as well, Dhanishtha mainly, Capricorn/ Saturn placements, Shravanna, Jyestha nakshatras, and Gemini, Aquarius, Aries & Cancer placements/Moon Nakshatras.
Tumblr media
-Aaliyah Magha moon, Dhanishtha Asc, Anuradha Venus
Scorpio rashis/ nakshatras Anuradha/Jyestha karmic task is to experience jealousy, evil eye or mimicking. Either done to them or them doing it to others. For example, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) Purva Phalguni sun & Anuradha Asc copying and attempting to destiny swap Maddy (Alexa Demie) Jyestha Sun & Chitra moon. In the show Euphoria. Shoutout Claire Nakti
A real life example, is Hailey Bieber (Anuradha Sun & Jyestha mercury) copying Selena Gomez, and attempting to swap lives with her.
Tumblr media
Now this isn’t to say if someone has these placements that they are envious and destiny swappers. Or that if they don’t they can’t. With astrology it all comes down to the individual and how they use the power given to them. Also, this was a quick personal observation that I made. Forgive me if my thoughts may come across as scattered. Just writing down what I was thinking when I was watching the video. So take it with a grain of salt.
Btw, I’m not a professional astrologer lmao
Lately, I’ve been talking a lot about mars placements/nakshatras. So feel free to let me know on what topics, placements, or nakshatras I should do next.

Thank you, sending love & protection 💕

They Should Have Never Given You the Word “Queerbait”
It’s been 5 years and I’m still thinking about this, so now I am going to vent a bit. I hate when there is a Black female protagonist who is queer coded and seemingly in a slow burn setting, and the viewers flag it as queerbait and disengage.
I feel like I have seen so many shows where people can take a character who is never even suggestively queer and nit pick even the smallest glimmers to validate reading them as such and they will be able to ship and create and support all of the ways this is a queer character and trust the writers to possibly give more.
But, when there are Black women in these areas, it falls down as soon as they aren’t given overt displays of wlw actions. I said its been 5 years, because I’m specifically thinking about Kiss Me First, but I also want to hit on Crazyhead, while I’m here because I feel like it got paid the same treatment in this regard. And both of those shows had such good writing, and as a Black queer woman WITH mental illness, both of these characters spoke to me and seeing them have potential for love stories for wlw stories was so rewarding, only to see the journey get bashed and the shows get cancelled.
So. Let me talk a minute. Starting with Kiss Me First.  If you haven’t already watched it, you probably aren’t going to, so I’m not sparing potential “spoilers,” as I’ve said, its been 5 years.
Tumblr media
Kiss Me First centers around this dynamic of an orphan, Leila, who recently lost her mom and is getting attached to a woman, Tess, that she met in this computer universe, who she also has befriended irl. Leila and Tess start off with some mystery, as you can’t tell what Tess’ intentions are for this woman, but you see very early on that Leila doesn’t necessarily trust people that are in Tess’ life. When Leila realizes that the person who Tess seems to care about the most is a dangerous and manipulative person, she does everything that she can to protect her.
The criticisms of the show were that people were “queerbaited” with the relationship between them because of the romantic and sexual relationships that these characters had with men and not with each other...
This is what is frustrating to me: So much of this series is realistic, INCLUDING the story arcs where these women are in relationships with men that don’t really serve them best. Real life queer people frequently have relationships with partners that they don’t really belong with before finding the love that they had been seeking. But, the moment it happens in media, especially with a Black woman, it is unbearable for audiences. They gotta see her eating box, or it ain’t real.
And it’s aggravating, because there is this fairy tale happening in which Leila literally is on a quest to save Tess. She knows that this guy is dangerous and her entire goal becomes making sure she rescues Tess from him. He lifts Tess on a pedestal and makes her feel like she is the most important person, but he is actually an abuser and preying upon this group that idolizes him, so Leila spends episodes working to get Tess out of his grasp.
In the end, they aren’t IN a queer relationship, but she has absolutely freed Tess and Tess is helping her to escape being framed by the enemy. They are “friends,” but if you have a queer eye, and are not racist, you’d be able to see that this is and was the entire time a fucking love story between these two women! If anything, they tossed in some dudes for the straights to pay attention. I’m livid every time somebody suggests that Kiss Me First is queerbait. To you, but not my Black, gay, bipolar ass. I loved it. I wanted to see them flourish. I wanted to be given the payoff, yes. But, I loved being able to see a beautiful love story between two fucked up people who were side by side at the end.
This happened in Crazyhead, as well.
Tumblr media
Raquel is a target for an apocalypse and do you know how Amy saved her and the world? By telling her she loved her and giving her a kiss that brought her back from the brink of destruction...
Now... I will admit, the writers did a “no homo” type thing at the end... but the homo in me seen the homo in thee, so I wasn’t bothered by that.
I just think that it is an unfair measurement, to expect everything to be served up for you in order to support representation, and not being able to detect subtext or to envision the potential coding shows a huge amount of privilege. I adore the fact that so much queer content as of late gets spoonfed to you, but I also enjoy a slow burn, and it’s not right that Black queer women rarely get one because you give up if there’s not an automatic tonguing and huge declarations. And in the cases of these two shows, there were very clear expressions of love and several moments of intimacy, but I guess they needed to trib for true love.
Anyways, I love Kiss Me First and Crazyhead, and I consider them representation FOR ME.

The fourth (and final for now) member of the swamp pals, and my smallest hand puppet:
❀⋆·₊˚☆彡 Simona Snail ☆彡˚₊·⋆❀
She's made with light olive green fur fabric, and dark kelp green with brown for her shell. Fae's got a tan lace and green satiny neck ruffle, a ruffly bonnet, and crocheted book bag (made by Millicent Moth, of course) with some little books inside. Everything has plenty of lace and bows! ୨୧ <3
Simona is a librarian, she's very organized, and likes everything to be catalogued correctly and in proper place. Though she doesn't worry about overdue books or late fees, she's a slow reader faeself, so fae understands! :)
Faer hobbies include reading, bookbinding (she loves repairing and preserving old books), going on walks (very slowly), and lace making! She's a quiet and gentle soul, and prefers to take things slow and easy, always stopping to smell the roses and taking her time to enjoy every little bit of life!
She also enjoys writing, especially handwritten letters for her friends (snail mail) and poetry. Fae's quite the little author!
