my cody theory for tbb s3

the legendary "boba fett" is actually like twenty different clones (including the real Boba). anyone at risk of being recognized (usually officers/arcs) can go into bounty hunting as "boba fett". it soon becomes the clone equivalent of like john doe. they share a bounty guild account (bc it uses biometric id and they're close enough to register as the same person).

"boba fett" soon develops a reputation for getting missions done 1) incredibly well and 2) incredibly fast. the fast part is because there are at least eight people all doing different bounties at any given time. the well part is because "boba fett" is an informal collective of escaped clones of particular distinction in battle.

by the time the real Boba is an adult, the "boba fett" clones have built up his bounty hunter credit score so much that he can pretty much take whatever job he wants for max rates.

we really could've had it all once industry started to officially license and release anime and manga in the west. we could've made the sequel to .ass files, or made professional standard quality software to improve the editing experience for their frankly janky-ass markup and formatting. we could've had tools to make burning styled subs to videos easier, or better yet we could've made rendering and styling subtitles more of a thing in html/css/js for browsers to maintain the flexibility of softsubbing.

but mostly, i'm thinking abt how cool it would've been for the norm in overseas anime releases to have the licensing company commission graphic designers to make custom fonts to match the subtitle styles to the texts and vibes in the anime itself.

I haven't posted about the Citizen's Initiative regarding the ban on queer conversion therapy in the EU for a while, so here is where we are at. (Time stamp: 19/2/2025)

So far, three countries have reached the threshold number of signatures: France, Finland and Ireland. We need AT LEAST four more. The four countries with the highest percentage of signatures are:

Spain (72.7%)

Belgium (57.82%)

The Netherlands (48.93%)

Slovenia (48.74%)

I can see all four of them realistically gather the remaining signatures, BUT WE NEED TO KEEP AT IT! If you are in these countries, PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST. To people outside of Tumblr, I mean. If we all can get one - three allies to sign, we will collectively gather A LOT of signatures.

Actually, this counts double for people who are not in those four countries! One, the more countries reach the threshold, the better, but two, there is also a required number of signatures in total, and - ugh....

We still need A LOT. You see the deadline, 17th May? That gives us a little less than three months to gather around 800 000 signatures. The people in countries that already have the required total can sign, too, and it will add to the total number!

So yeah. Please keep signing, keep circulating the posts that talk about this, and talk to people in your off-Tumblr life about this! The world is getting scarier by the day, and it is only a matter of time for the right-wing bullshit to reach us, too. This could be one more line of protection for queer people in Europe, especially in the East.

I know there's a lot more going on in the world to focus on but I really hate it that I haven't been able to stay at a job for much more than 3 years. my first professional position after college I left after 3 and a half years due to management becoming really sucky, then I was a nanny for two years and left due to family dynamics, now I'm just getting past the 2.5 year mark in my current job and I'm already applying for new stuff. I just want to be able to stay somewhere. I'm almost 30. I just want to be able to find a place and stay there.
