I do n o t have patience, okay. I promise you, I am the type of person who will rock back and forth, barely keeping it together, making audible sounds of frustration, if my toast takes too long in the toaster. I am the person who seriously contemplates and worries that my life is just forever waiting for my laptop to update, solely because it's been on the same loading screen for 5 minutes. I need to physically have something else for me to do if I know I need to update a game. Otherwise, I w i l l feel my soul leave my body unless I can luck out and fast travel by dissociating with vivid daydreams.

Y e s. I have an over 300k word epic that I have been working on for what will be four years now. However, I am 95% sure that it is less that I'm "patient" and more "I have a crippling need to write in chronological order and have a borderline obsessive hyperfixation with my own story that won't leave my head."

You're about to blow a blood vessel just to get behind those mysterious double doors and find him yourself. As a last resort, you call the dumbass brother back up and demand he come and get you in.

Calling Jim to come see (Your ex) Wayne:

You're already annoyed having to be here in the first place, getting dragged off your couch after work because ex as done something dubious (Probably) and gotten himself hospitalised and made you worried sick. You're even more frustrated when no one here will answer any of your questions.

He's stable, they say. Yes, you respond in an irritated tone. But what does that m e a n?? Is going to get better or is he c o m f o r t a b l e? As in, dying but without the pain.

Every time someone says We cant hand out any further information without a relative, you want to crush something.

You try to tell yourself they're just doing their jobs, because they are and you respect that, but its Wayne.

And he's not allowed to die, yet. Not without your permission. No way. He wouldn't dare. Bastard.

Finally you leave the waiting room and stand outside in the cold night time air to dial your recent call. Jim picks up after 2 rings, but he doesn't sound all there, this time. Great.

"Hey, Jim."

"Oh Y/N! Nice to hear your voice, sweetcheeks. How are you, hm??"

"Well, not great." You respond bluntly, glancing at the glowing red and white sign above the emergency room entrance. "... Look, I'm not calling to chat. They're not telling me anything because I'm not family, so you're going to have to get over your family drama and get over here, now. Okay??"

"... get to where?"

You have no patience for Jim's drunk bullshit right now. "The hospital where your brother is laying somewhere possibly dying. That place. Ring a bell??"

"... vaguely." He sounds like he definitely remembers, but would prefer not to. Not because he's worried about Wayne, but because its an added irritation sprinkled on top of what is already what you assume to be a failure of a day. Like a gross fly hanging around your head on a sweltering hot day.

"Wonderful. So??"

"So what."

"jIM!"

The screech in your voice hurts his ears, thats evident by the groan he gives, but it wakes him up at least. "Okay, okay- I get it, I heard you, yeah. Uh-... Y'want me to come talk to the doctors about Wayne... Um... I would... but...- "

"Oh no!" You snap. "No buts!"

"... but- "

"No!" You insist, shaking your head. "He is possibly dying, Jim- or dead, since I last asked. And maybe you don't want anything to do with him anymore, which I understand since he's a pain in the ass, but I- " Something in you clenches and you take a deep breath to steady yourself. To stop yourself from crying. You're keeping it together, god-fucking-damnit. "But I don't care. Scrape your pathetic drunk ass off whatever sticky bar stool you're currently wasting away on and come visit your brother, or visit a nice lady in deaths reception- because if you don't come here I will send you there myself. I don't care, but either way, make your decision-- NOW!"

Then you hang up, and take another deep breath; crisp air filling up your lungs and making you feel dizzy. "... I need fries." You finally sigh out when the anger thins out leaving behind just the exhaustion, turning heavily on your aching feet back towards the door. Drenched in tomato sauce.

Mmm...

After you methodically emptied 5 packets of ketchup onto your stale, lukewarm hospital cafeteria fries and eaten one- you can feel your entire body coming back to life. If only to tell you how achy you are from work and then getting here and stressing so bad the whole way. Calm down, its yelling at you. And with the salty chippies in front of you and the taste of tomato sauce on your tongue, you almost do.

... But then you remember how badly you want to see Wayne okay, and how it surprised you how hard this hit you even after all this time. You made him leave back then; you got away just in time, before you became a casualty in his terrible life. You did the smart thing. You're the smart one! You've always been the smart one; you practically had no choice.

But apparently not all of you is smart.

Letting out a slow breath through your nose, you lean your forehead into you the heels of your hands, elbows on the table.

When your phone buzzes you manage to wrangle it out of your pocket and chuck it on the table, weakly opening it up and sighing as you read your notification.

Give me a few hours.

You can pay me in bourbon.

Slowly you type out a thank you.

Calling Wayne to come see (Your ex) Jim:

After you hang up on Reba (You annoyed the nurse enough that she called the woman who dropped Jim off so she could speak to you- and that was Reba. But she told you that he got half eaten up by a giant fucking crocodile and now you don't feel any better), you get out your own phone and unblock Wayne's number- then press call before you can back out of it, and wait impatiently for him to answer.

It takes him 6 awful rings, but just when you're ready to curse him out of pure frustration (And tiredness- it took a lot longer to get here then you first thought. Its 4am, now.) he picks up. 'Hello'-ing you like he doesn't know who this is. Whether he does or not you roll your eyes and mimic him with all the restrained annoyance of a sneering 5-year-old. "hElLo. Wayne! Its me again."

"Oh, well hey. Uh, you seen him yet?"

"No!!" You cry, frustrated and forgetting for a second that he doesn't actually care. "They wont let me, I'm not family." When he merrily hums into the receiver, like he's not really paying attention (like instead of sympathising with you over his brother being in hospital, he's flicking through a newspaper or taking a sip of lukewarm coffee) you breath in a sharp, clipped breath. Right. You're alone. "Anyway- come here."

He perks up immediately on his end of the line. "Heheh, oh?? Well, this is sudden, but uh... sure. Something I said resonated with you, huh?"

"I need you to come and get information about Jim. Get me into the room. You're his brother."

"... oh."

"Please."

"Ehhhh... you know; I'm kinda busy... "

Ughhh- "You are not!" You snap, sounding petulant. You don't care, you're tired... and you're worried... and you suddenly cant remember why you left Jim because you need him to be okay so bad that your chest hurts. You've been trying not to stop this whole time, bothering nurses with phone calls and eventually your face for hours, because if you don't you might cry. After a moment, and he doesn't respond, you take a deep breath and force yourself to sound calm. You know you sound psychotic but at this point you don't really care. You turn away from other people in the busy waiting room. "Wayne- Believe me, if you do not get your crusty ass into a car, or a plane, or a train, or a really fast bus and help me, then I am going to track you down, and get you. Trust me, I have the annual leave lined up. I will find you, and not even Lyle will be able to save you."

"See, now, I'm kinda intrigued~ Maybe I want you to come get me, huh sweetheart?"

"I will squeeze you so hard the little hole your blanks come out of closes up for good, Wayne."

"Jesus- "

"Hop to it! Now!" You snap, then hang up and go get a shot of chocolate from a vending machine. Clearly, you need it.

When you finally sit down 10 minutes later in the cafeteria, a coffee and a crumbly brownie in front of you, you give a sigh and stretch your legs out under the wobbly table. You know somewhere in this hospital Jim and he might be dying, and thats a nightmare coming to life that you're not mature enough- not equipped enough- to deal with.

When your phone vibrates in your pocket your pull it out and read the text with heavy, tired eyes.

On my way. Lyle's real mad. Get ready to give me a big kiss hello, sugar.

Slowly you let out a deep, relieved breath.

Oftentimes , the two have to b a r t e r for spare moments to get together , to see one another ( both so busy but so devoted that they would be willing to carve out the time , to make the effort to put each other at the forefront whenever possible ) .  So it comes as an UNEXPECTED & PLEASANT SURPRISE when Yusuke decidedly is the one to make the time for Kaen ; in little ways , sometimes by showing up to campus to take them out or by stopping by their apartment merely to visit and drop off a meal.  Simple gestures , simple demonstrations of his affection , but the godling never ventured to ask for m o r e ; it is these things that made them all the HAPPIEST ( & they never failed to remind him of the fact ) .

Today seems to be one of those special days !

Immediately her tone returned to her own, as she rolled her eyes, stepping forward with a surge of ANIMOSITY she had never felt for him before.

“I just needed to say that so you understood how much of a PRICK, cunt DICKHEAD you sound like right now! I don’t give one, two, three, four or FIVE shits about whether you meant to do, or what you would have done! What matters is what you DID! Do I even mean a n y t h i n g to you?! because someday i had to hop on the bandwagon after reading them for so long.

DISCLAIMER: these observations all come from personal experience, i am no professional astrologer, only take what resonates!

☁️ venus in the cancer-capricorn axis are so damn underrated. i swear, these people are the ultimate providers in relationships, and they'll always be there for you when you need it, true ride or die energy with these people.

☁️ i can never realize someone's a pisces rising until they show me their chart. pisces in general tends to be very flowy and adaptable, so it may be more natural for these risings to blend in with the crowd.  h o w e v e r , their eyes might be a good giveaway. they tend to have an overall soft, watery look even if they're not blue (examples: billie eilish, michael jackson, zayn malik).

☁️ speaking of pisces placements, i've noticed most of the ones i know have shown deep interest in different artistic pursuits, specially songwriting, poetry, photography and film.

☁️ the same goes for leos but with them (and i say these as someone who attracts way too much leo energy) it's more related to performing arts. the ones i've seen more interested in writing also had a virgo mercury.

Because of his trusts issues he's not really affectionate at first but when he really trusts you he will shower you in affection. He'll always bring you gifts in hopes of you liking it. Also gifted you a totem for when he's not there to protect you.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

The friendship probably started with Phil kinda taking you under his wing and introducing you to Techno.

Honestly he would be a great best friend. Would be very protective over you because he wants to keep you safe and not let anything hurt you.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He doesn't really like cuddling but when you hug him once he nearly breaks down realising how touch starved he really is. Won't really initate cuddling but you'll see signs of him giving you more hugs.

He likes to be the big spoon because he likes to know that you're safe and that nothing can hurt you. When the voices are really bad tho or he's not feeling good he likes to lay his head on your chest and you petting his hair

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He would love to settle down and stay away from all the violence and drama. He absolutely loves cooking and showing you all the food that piglins make in the nether which tastes suprisingly very good.

He's very scared to show emotions thinking that he's showing weakness when he does. To protect himself he'll try his best to make it seem as emotionless and uncaring as possible to avoid letting you see how much this is actually hurting him.

I feel like he's not the type to get married because he doesn't have any connections to marriage. For piglins it's more common to gift their fiancés gold jewellery and crowns instead of marriage.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He's very gentle with you physically making sure to not hurt you because he's naturally stronger cause he's a piglin.

He's not afraid to tell you if you're doing something he doesn't like tho so he's not that gentle emotionally.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

As i've said before this man doesn't even realise how touchstarved he is until you give him a hug. Slowly he's starting to initiate more hugs himself. Will hold you tight and lay his head on your head/shoulder.

I feel like it would take him a long time to say that he loves you because of his trust and commitment issues. But when he says it tho he does mean it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

It depends on who you're hanging out with. If you're just hanginf out with Ranboo or Phil he doesn't really care and is happy that you're having fun with his friends. If you're hanging out with someone else tho he'll get jealous. Even worse if it's with one of his enemies.

When he's jealous at first he'll just be kinda annoyed and not say anything. If you keep hanging out with other people tho he'll start to get needy and become more clingy making up excuses that you have to leave for some reason.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are very soft in fear of hurting you but that doesn’t mean they’re boring. You can feel his emotions flowing into the kiss making you feel like you’re loosing your breath.

I feel like he likes kissing you on the top of your hand while looking you in the eyes. When he feels like teasing you he’ll kiss you at the corner of your mouth making you pout because he didn’t give you a serious kiss

He really likes it when you kiss him on the tip of his nose and no i will not explain why.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

I- i think we know his relationship with children.

But in all seriousness at first he’s a little awkward around children and says he doesn’t really like them. It’s like when men say they don’t like cats but then their girlfriend gets them a cat and they realize how adorable they can be sometimes. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He’s definitely not a morning person. Wakes up before you tho and likes to watch you sleep (not in a creepy way) because of how calm you look in his arms. Honestly just wants to keep holding you in his arms making sure you’re safe. When he goes down to make breakfast and you don’t wanna get up he wraps his cape around you to keep you warm and because he knows its smell reminds you of him.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He honestly kinda lost his sleep schedule after not living with Phil anymore and got back to just sleeping when he feels like it. He’s still used to this because he of growing up in the nether where day and night pretty much didn’t exist.

So if he’s not feeling like sleeping but you still want him to be near you at night he’ll stay with you cuddling until you fall asleep and give you his cape as a blanket.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

I’ve already mentioned his trust issues so it’ll take him a long time to reveal things about him in fear of you breaking his trust. Also wouldn’t tell you everything once. He would do it more slowly probably starting with the fact that he hears voices. Please be patient with him he’s trying his best.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It takes him a lot to get really angry because he knows he can kinda loose himself when he’s angry. So he’ll try his best to avoid getting angry around you in fear of accidentally hurting you.

But something where he definitely wouldn’t be able to hold back his anger is someone hurting you. We have seen how protective he is over the people he likes so when someone hurts you all hell would break loose and canon lifes would be lost.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He would remember a lot about you. Your favorite type of flower, your favorite childhood memory, your favorite weapon to use in combat. Can he remember where he put his glasses tho? Definitely not.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

It was in the middle of the night when he stepped into his house smiling at the warmth surrounding him. Looking at the fireplace he saw a figure sitting in the brown armchair in front of it. Taking off his cape and crown he out them onto the table telling himself he’s gonna put them away tomorrow. Slowly walking in front of the fireplace he chuckled at seeing his fiance looking so calm and cute while sleeping. Taking off his boots he put them near the fire to make sure that they’re dry tomorrow.

Carefully he put on of his arms under your knees and the other at your back picking you up into his arm and holding you close to his chest. Making his way up the stairs he looked down at you an immediate happiness overcoming him.

Now standing next to his bed he slowly laid you down on the mattress. Crawling in next to you he laid down behind you and gently wrapped his arms around you. The last thing he heard was an “I love you.” coming from his partner making a smile appear on his lip before he fell into the land of dreams.

He’s a very protective person in general going as far as gifting people totems and fighting against at least 10 people alone to protect the people he cares about.

Also doesn’t back down from protecting you with words for example when someone is being a dick to you and he knows you’re scared when he’s violent he’ll defend you with words completely destroying the other persons ego.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He puts a lot of effort into gifts and such because they mean a lot to him. Also puts a lot of effort into the food he cooks for you and always makes sure they taste and look amazing.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He will often distance himself from you for example if the voices get really bad. Also sometimes doubts if you still love him and aren’t only with him because you see him as a weapon like the others do which leads to him distancing himself from you.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He isn’t very concerned with his looks because of growing up in the nether where no mob cares about how someone looks. What he does care about though is his long pink hair always keeping it in a braid to prevent it from getting damaged too much while fighting. He is more used to caring about strength and muscles.

He is very much used to living alone so if you’re only gone for some time he is pretty much fine. If he doesn’t see you for longer though he’ll start to miss you. He’ll start to miss you braiding his hair. He’ll start to miss you cuddling up to him while sitting in his lap. He’ll start to miss training for fun with you. So overall yes he would feel incomplete without you.

He actually really likes getting pet especially at his ears. You found that out when he was laying with his head in your lap reading a book. You started petting him which started to make him sleepy. But when your hand scratched him behind his ears a blush appeared on his cheeks hearing himself starting to purr.

He is pretty much okay with everything because of growing up with two completely different brothers but one thing he wouldn’t like is a partner that doesn’t respect his privacy and that he sometimes needs time for himself.

You know how cats or dogs sometimes twitch in their sleep because they dream of hunting? He does that too. Also when he’s cuddling with you while sleeping will tighten his grip on you.

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Throughout your pregnancy, Namjoon was always incredibly cuddly with you. He wanted to be as close to you and the bump as possible, be there for you whenever you needed to hold his hand or feel his arms wrapped around you.

B ⇴ BUMP

Just as he was with you, he was also very handsy with your bump too. Depending on how you were feeling, he’d either hold on tightly to it, or massage against all the points that were sore. He was very observant to how you were feeling throughout your pregnancy, usually being able to pick up on your mood quite quickly to understand what it was that you wanted from him.

.C ⇴ CRAVINGS

Whatever you were craving, at whatever time, Namjoon would get it for you in a heartbeat. He never judged you for the sometimes random combinations that you were craving, instead he’d get it with a smile, knowing it made you happier too. Although, when he was dieting, he definitely got jealous of some of the foods you were eating every now and then.

D ⇴ DUE DATE

With each date that passed closer to your due date, Namjoon got more and more excited. He couldn’t deny that he’d been counting down the years to when he could become a father, so now he was only counting down the days, he couldn’t quite believe it. You were often having to remind him not to get too excited, as the due date was only a rough guide to when you’d give birth, and not necessarily the day when your baby would arrive.

E ⇴ EXCITEMENT

It wasn’t just with your due date where Namjoon’s excitement often got the better of him, pretty much the whole way through your pregnancy he was excited. There were so many little moments that he’d dreamed of, like the first sign of your bump, and going shopping for your baby that each day felt like a reason to be excited, with it all building up to whenever your little one would decide to make an appearance.

F ⇴ FAMILY

He loved having your families as involved in your pregnancy as possible too, he felt like your baby was the perfect way to bring your families together as they were yet to spend much time with each other. Although you were a little worried that your new-born would lead to some competition between the two families, they ended up bonding greatly, finally getting to know each other properly thanks to your new arrival.

G ⇴ GETTING READY

Almost every pregnancy book available had been read by Namjoon in order to make sure that the two of you were as prepared as possible. The last thing he wanted was for the two of you to forget anything, so plenty of lists were made, with bags being checked several times before he could relax and declare yourselves as prepared.

H ⇴ HEARTBEAT

You could never forget the first time Namjoon heard your baby’s heartbeat, and how quickly his tears fell. It was an overwhelming experience for you both, but the small thuds particularly touched his heart. You knew how long he’d dreamt of the moment, and to finally see it come true was everything that he’d ever wanted.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

He’d often remind you that he loved you the most whenever you were resting. It was a huge relief to him whenever he spotted you being able to rest your eyes for a few moments, and so in those peaceful moments he’d often whisper to you that he loved you, even if most of the time you were far too gone to pay attention to him.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

More than anything, he was jealous of you throughout your pregnancy, he hated having to leave you and the bump with his busy schedule so often. He was jealous that your bump was always with you, how you’d never have to miss a kick or a wriggle because you were carrying, whilst he missed out on so many of the moments that he didn’t want to because he was the one having to spend time away from you and your baby.

K ⇴ KICKS

After feeling kicks for some time, Namjoon knows all of the spots that your baby loves to attack, and so he’ll often lay down right over those spots of your bump at night when he wants a sign of life from your baby. The left side, just at the bottom is your child’s favourite spot, and often where Namjoon will end up lying too.

L ⇴ LABOUR

You couldn’t have asked for a more supportive person than Namjoon with you during your labour. Perhaps it was the years he’d spent as a leader, caring for everyone else, but he just seemed to know exactly what to do when you needed him. When you reached the final stages of labour, the tears that fell during that first heartbeat fell again, completely overwhelmed that at last one of his biggest dreams was coming true.

M ⇴ MORNING SICKNESS

Whenever you experienced morning sickness, was another time when Namjoon was very much on the ball. He ended up carrying a hairband around his wrist so that he could run straight to you every morning and tie your hair back. All of his schedules were always pushed back so that he could be there for you during morning sickness, and only when he was sure that you were absolutely fine, would he make the journey into work.

N ⇴ NURSERY

As much as you loved Namjoon, his clumsy self was the last person that you trusted to build a nursery, and so the two of you ended up getting many of your friends and family to help you out in order to make it perfect.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Namjoon was obsessed with your bump, whenever the two of you were together, there was very rarely a time when he wouldn’t be holding onto it or at least staring at it in complete awe of what was going on.

P ⇴ POST BIRTH

You were barely allowed to move in the first few days after your labour, Namjoon had read up especially on all of the things a husband could do in order to help his wife out. There was no way he was going to risk you hurting yourself after all that you’d gone through, much preferring to take things easy at the start.

Whenever the two of you had appointment, Namjoon always made sure to show up with plenty of questions, he couldn’t help but be inquisitive, and desperate to sometimes triple check that everything really was alright.

You were aware that he’d bought a few baby items in the past before you even found out that you were pregnant, but you could never imagine just how many items you would end up finding that he kept. Namjoon had a whole box of things that he’d bought over the years, knowing that they’d be used when the time was right.

In the back of his phone, Namjoon always made sure to carry your most recent scan photo with him. It was always there for him to look at, especially when he was writing a song and needing inspiration, or just missing being around the two of you because he was busy with work, he always made sure to treasure it.

The two of you had been planning to fall pregnant for quite some time, and so when you finally got the positive test that the two of you had been waiting for, neither of you could hide your excitement, and relief that it was finally happening for you both.

U ⇴ ULTRASOUND

Namjoon never forgot the time at one of your scans when he was given the chance to move the monitor over your bump and follow the movements of your little one on the screen.

V ⇴ VISITS

For the first few days, Namjoon was very private, he didn’t want too many visitors just in case anyone was watching. However, once you were nearing the end of your recovery, he opened up more to the idea of having people round.

His patience varied day by day, if very little happened, he’d be calm, but if something significant happened, he just wouldn’t be able to keep still.

When the nights got particularly difficult for you, Namjoon would always be there with a kiss to comfort you and remind you that he was right there supporting you, although there was often little he could do, he’d still make sure to stay right by your side.

Summary: A sfw A-Z for Elizabeth Caledonia "Calamity" Ashe, from Overwatch!

Notes: Would you be shocked if I told you this is my second request in nearly two months or so?   Also some of these are a little short, so I do apologise-  My requests are currently open! My pinned post (found here) contains both a list of characters I write for, and a masterlist!

A - Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

When it comes to affection, Ashe is like two sides of the same coin. In public, she doesn’t show all that much affection to anyone. Even you can’t make her stray from that mindset- she doesn’t want people to think she’s gone soft. In private though, very different story, for the most part. She can sometimes be a bit awkward with affection, be it giving or receiving, but she tries her best. 

B - Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? Where does the friendship start?)

Ashe is very much a no-nonsense sassy friend.She’d tell it to you straight, leave out everything that’s necessary to her point. The bond between you would probably start when you where speaking to Reyes about McCree. She’d jump in to tell you a few embarrassing tales of him before she informed you of the practical backstabbing he’d done. 

C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Ashe isn’t too much of a cuddler, or a hugger for that matter. She was deprived of physical affection for most of her life, so affection is often very awkward. She’d attempt to cuddle you with your head on her chest, but she finds it a little bit easier to cuddle and hug from behind. 

D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking, cleaning, ect?)

No. Ashe is most certainly not a domestic woman- she can just about cook, never really bothered with cleaning as she didn’t need to, and she has never thought about settling down properly, even with you. 

E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

She’d be blunter than the butt of her rifle- again, no nonsense. She wouldn’t beat around the bush, she’d would get straight to her point. Life’s too short for euphemisms.

F - Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? Do they wanna get married?)

Commitment, like settling down, was nothing that Ashe really considered. And to be honest, she probably still isn’t considering it. 

G - Gentle (How gentle are they both physically and emotionally?)

Not overly gentle. She can be pretty rough- linking to both her upbringing with absent parents and gang activity. She will try, rarely, when she thinks it’s needed. 

H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it, and what are they like?)

She isn’t keen on hugs, either. (See C- cuddles).

I - I Love You (How fast do they say the “love” word?)

Like hugs, cuddles, and most forms of affection, the L word isn’t one Ashe eagerly wants to let past her lips. She has said it to you once or twice, when she thought you were asleep, and wouldn’t hear her. 

J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What are they like when jealous?)

Ashe is an incredibly jealous woman. She gets very angry, and very confrontational when jealous too. Not always the best emotions to course through the hot-head’s veins, but she doesn’t shy away from her negative emotions at all. 

K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Quick, heated, passionate. When they do happen at least. Usually her kisses come before some very lustful scenes, so.. There’s that. 

L - Little Ones (How are they around kids?)

Please keep Ashe away from children. Please. She is not good around them, at all. Not even as a family friend.She is not a good role model in any sense of the word. 

M - Morning (What are mornings like with them?)

Ashe is usually up pretty early, and doesn’t hang about too long- she doesn’t like wasting daylight. She’ll occasionally stay for a few minutes longer for a cup of coffee, but apart from that she’s usually gone just after you wake up. 

N - Nights (How are nights spent with them?)

She’ll spend a lot more time with you in the evening, winding don with you by her side. When I say by her side, I mean at least vaguely around her. 

O - Open (When do they open up about themselves?)

Much like McCree, almost never. Though, if you gave her enough whiskey, you could probably wrangle at least a few details out of her. 

P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Needless to say, though Ashe tries to be reasonable at times, she has a very short fuse. Almost anything can set her off- a small, repetitive noise, someone telling her to repeat herself or even just waking up in a bad mood.

Q - Quizzes (How much do they remember about you?)

Almost everything. She knows your star sign, your favourite colour, the way you have your favourite hot beverage, and every date important to you. Just because it seems like she is absent doesn’t mean it’s entirely true. 

R - Remember (Favorite memory with you?)

Her teaching you to shoot glass bottles and porcelain plates with her rifle. It was a fun day, for both of you. You have a picture of it too, and she keeps a copy tucked on the dash of her bike.

S - Security (How protective are they?)

Author's Note: When will my husband come home from war?

Disclaimer: These headcanons are based on how I imagine Howie to be based on the game. You don't have to agree with what I say here as everyone is free to have their own ideas.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

VERY affectionate. I honestly feel like he grew up surrounded with so much love and now he’s just overflowing with it. Howie is all about showing his love through warm hugs, having his arm around you, swinging your hands as you walk, head pats, you name it. Another one, in my opinion, is words of affirmation. He'd tell you how much you matter to him through words, like quoting lines from his favorite movies and saying "I love you" before you both go to sleep.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Affectionate. Lots of play fighting and cuddling during movie sessions. Singing to Disney songs at the top of your lungs. You guys make friendship bracelets for each other (and he never takes off his). Definitely one of those dudes who drive their best friend everywhere.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

If it’s not apparent already, this dude is a giant golden retriever and he lives for the cuddles. He is born to cuddle, baby. Due to his size, it’s natural that he ends up as a big spoon more often than not but he definitely loves the moments he gets to be the small spoon.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

So domestic, even when you guys just started dating. It’s easy to imagine yourself settling down with someone as warm and comforting as Howie. He would love to settle down and build a home with you and you guys love having conversations about your dream house and how your life would be like in five, ten years. He’s alright at cooking in general but can cook some amazing Chinese dishes that his mom taught him.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

It would be hard for him to get out of a relationship, to be completely honest. He’s one of those people who easily gets attachment issues and finds it hard to move on from a relationship. If he really has to be the one to end the relationship, he would want to talk it out with you and try to end your relationship on a good note. I feel like he’s one of those people who really values respect, even when things aren’t working out anymore between you two.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Howie is a hopeless romantic and while he does have his insecurities, I feel like he would really love to commit to someone. In terms of marriage, it really depends on you. I don’t think his career would hinder him much when it comes to popping the question, to be honest. If he feels like he’s comfortable enough with the relationship and sees that you are, too, I think he’d propose to you when he feels like the time is right.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Howie is a textbook example of a gentle giant. He knows he’s strong so physically, he knows when to hold back a bit. Emotionally, it’s canon that he’s a soft and caring boy through and through and he would never hurt you on purpose.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Ugh, he LOVES hugs. It’s canon that the Yan fam is really good with hugs so if you need a pick-me-up, he’s your man. Whenever you guys are alone, he acts like an overgrown koala because he can’t get enough of hugging you. If hot chocolate is a hug, it’s what Howie’s would feel like. Warm, familiar, and comforting.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He knows he loves you when he does but holds back a lot in fear of coming off too strong. If he feels that you feel the same, then he would say it pretty quickly into the relationship or during a spur of a moment. If it seems that you need more time, he would hold back just so that you wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He’s the type who’s less jealous and more insecure. His jealousy isn’t going to make him act rashly and put you on the spot. It’s slow and creeping and you might not notice at first because of how well he conceals it but it becomes apparent by the way he starts to act distant.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Warm and gentle. His kisses make you feel so safe and loved and he likes to take the time to show you how he feels through the gesture. He loves to kiss you everywhere but his favorite places to kiss you are your nose and temples.

Also, kiss him on the forehead and he’d melt into a puddle. Another one of his hotspots is at the back of his neck. Kiss him there and watch him sputter as he tries to gain back his bearings.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He loves kids, kids love him. He humors the kids a lot and is a great impersonator so prepare yourself for some improvised skits in front of the kiddos. Can’t say no to the kids, though, so you might have to step in from time to time. Kids treat him like a human jungle gym. Which he actually is.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

I definitely see him as a morning person. Also, he’s so fit that you can’t tell me he doesn’t workout every single morning. Probably goes on an early jog and is one of those people who seems so chipper even if it's only seven in the morning.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Have you seen actors with their stage makeup on? There’s no way Howie’s skin stays so smooth and supple without some form of skincare routine. Has his own skincare routine and loves doing it with you together in front of the mirror (while making faces at you). After a good skincare session, he'll sit on the couch or in bed with you cuddled up to him as he reads scripts from his new upcoming projects.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Depending on how much he trusts you, it could be sooner or later. The thing with him is that he keeps things bottled up to himself. It’s hard and it’s tiring and the moment he feels safe with you, the dam breaks and he starts to reveal things about himself.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It’s definitely hard to annoy Howie and even harder to provoke him. He has the patience of a saint and unless something is very wrong, you can always find him just chillin lol.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He’s quite sentimental so he definitely remembers your relationship milestones. He remembers a lot of small things about you; like how you like your cereal and your best friend’s name from high school. Some of the details can be fuzzy at times but he tries!

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Canonically: The moment you said yes when he asked to be your boyfriend at Luca’s "sister's wedding".

Headcanon: The time you both visited his family in Chicago for the holidays. You were walking home from dinner when the snowfall turned into a snowstorm. It was terribly cold and windy but you both kept on laughing at the situation and you looked so gorgeous with snow stuck to your hair under the waning streetlight that he didn’t even care that he's freezing his butt off.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Isn’t too protective in the traditional sense because he knows you can take care of yourself. More protective of how you feel because of his words and actions so he’s careful in what he says and how he says them because he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. Highkey loves to be protected tho. Thinks it's kinda hot.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Puts a lot of effort in his career, obviously. Howie is always so passionate and ambitious when it comes to being a top actor. Relationship-wise, he’s a simp. Dates are mostly casual with him but he puts extra time and effort in choosing or making gifts. All the extra and expensive bits goes into your anniversary dates.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

A lot of times, he leaves his wet, sweaty workout shirts at the corner of the room and somehow always forgets no matter how many times you’ve scolded him. Sometimes doesn’t close or tie snack packages properly so when it's your turn to eat them, they’re often stale. A terrible snorer when he’s had a long day on set.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Quite concerned. He likes to highlight the nice parts of his body through the clothes he choose to wear and tries to follow a healthy diet in general. He worked hard for his body and as much as embarrassing as it is to admit, he loves to show off and be admired for it (especially by you).

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

A strong believer that every person is complete and whole on their own. He believes that every person is their own and just because you love someone, it doesn't mean that your life must revolve around that person. Even so, he is a romantic. So even if he knows that he's complete without you, he does prefer to have you by his side.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He can play the piano really well. Aside from dance lessons, his parents put aside a lot of money to sign him up for piano classes when he was younger. Now, he plays them whenever he’s deep in thought and it’s always relaxing to hear him play.

In general, Howie doesn’t like broccoli. Keep those away from him. Please. When it comes to partners, Howie stays away from people who make him feel less. Basically people who put him down for being who he is and liking the things he likes. Narcissists, if you will.

He’s a snuggler and he nuzzles into your side a lot when he sleeps. Whether you get too warm is your problem because this dude is Strong™ and won’t let you push him aside that easily. And, God, I hate to say this but he’s definitely a snorer. Not all the time but when he’s really tired.... let’s just say you won’t be getting a decent sleep.

SFW alphabet for James Bond

As usual, I hope you guys enjoy this one! I have to say that I was more than a bit nervous about writing for James Bond just because of how hardcore the character is. He’s so different than either Benoit or Joe Bang that it’s a bit intimidating. So thank you to everyone who liked the last little headcanon I did for him!

A= Affectionate (How affectionate are they?)

Due to his job, he really does try to be as affectionate as possible to make up for the lost time. He always has an arm around you or is following you around like some lost puppy. It’s cute at first, but then he starts getting in your way just to be a pest. 

B= Beginning (How would the relationship start?)

It probably started like any other of James’ flings with the ever iconic ‘Bond Girls’, but there was something about you that clicked differently. Maybe it was the way you carried yourself, or how you handled things or your constant back-and-forth banter. If you ask James when he fell in love, he wouldn’t know - perhaps when he first set eyes on you?

C= Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He enjoys it from time to time, but he’d rather spend that time doing more rigorous activities if you catch my drift. That being said, he’s more willing to cuddle after an especially harrowing mission.

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He’d like to eventually. He moves from place to place so much that it’s like he can’t afford to slow down. 

While his cleaning is sub-par, his cooking is very good. Luckily, he’s tall enough that he can help you out when it’s time to dust or to grab things off of the upper shelves.

You’d wake up and he’d just be gone. No note, no nothing. You’d probably figure that he was in a rush for a mission, but after a while, it didn’t seem like that anymore. You’ll eventually put two and two together.

F = Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He’s married to his job, so thoughts of domesticity are more like post-retirement plans than anything else. If he were to propose, it would be absolutely out of the blue and completely unplanned on his part. 

G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Super gentle and understanding. He’s always very careful as so not to hurt you on accident. While you may not see it, others can tell from the look on James’ face when he’s around you that he would do anything just to see your smile. 

He can also be pretty sensitive when it comes to emotions - it comes with his training. He’s figured out the signs and tells and know just what to do to make you feel better. 

H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He won’t admit it, but he likes back hugs a lot. Regular hugs are fine, but back hugs? Ethereal. It feels nice to be a receiver, even if it’s as simple as a hug.

He won’t say it for a long time. He understands the risks his job has, and while at this point he’s too far gone with you, he unconsciously sees the L-word as a promise that he can’t necessarily keep. 

J= Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Maybe not so much jealous as he is possessive. He finds that someone is getting too close for comfort, he’ll butt into the conversation with some witty remark that will likely embarrass them. Then, James will keep you at his side for the rest of the evening, refusing to let you out of his sight. 

K= Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Sometimes they’re slow and sensual and other times, hungry. Either way, things are going to escalate pretty quickly. The first time you gave him a kiss on the cheek he almost took you right then and there. In all honesty, he’s too horny for casual kisses of affection.

L= Little ones (How are they around children?)

He doesn’t have much interest in kids and they often find him intimidating. But if one daring one asks for a piggy-back ride the whole lot will be climbing all over him within seconds. He likes to joke that he feels more tired after being around kids than his missions combined.

On the rare occasions that you have heart-to-heart talks, he’ll be somewhat more open about himself. He has so many walls up that he doesn’t even know that half of them exist. It’ll probably be after his retirement that he reveals everything (and even then, baby steps).

With you, he has all the patience in the world (unless you’re being a tease, in which case, watch out).

His memory is impeccable in every way. He’ll know things about you that you may not even know of yourself. In your opinion one of the sweetest things he’s ever done was buy a couch that you said you liked months ago and personally carried it to your flat.

Every single time he returns to you after a mission and sees the look of relief, love, and happiness on your face.

Super protective and would rather be killed than to see you stub your toe twice on the same corner. Literally say goodbye to that coffee table, because it won’t be there the next day. He won’t let anything or anyone hurt you - if he can help it - and he will take every precaution to keep you out of enemy sight.

At first, while they were glamourous, you weren’t getting the feeling that the time you spent together was actually a date. Turns out, when it comes to serious relationships, James has little experience to go off of. It will take him a while to start to understand that going on a date doesn’t always have to be full of diamonds and champagne. 

U= Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

His abysmal communication skills. He’ll just leave and you won’t know if it was to the grocery store or on a mission. You cannot count the amount of times you had leftovers due to him just disappearing. You did bring it up with him at one point, though, and he has tried to be better about it.

V= Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks? Do your looks bother them?)

Because of his years on the job, he’s grown to have a certain amount of appreciation for the finer things in life when he has a choice. Why settle for less when he can easily buy the suits he wants to? That aside, he thinks you’re amazing no matter what you wear. If it’s for a fancy dinner party, James will have some fun picking the perfect ensemble for the evening if you’ll let him.

W= Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

When he’s on the job, he can’t always afford to think about himself, but when his life is in serious danger, your face always flashes before him. On the rare occasions that he can take a breather, your missing presence becomes much more apparent. 

X= Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

If and when he can, James will bring back little souvenirs from the places he went during his mission. You now have an interesting assortment of little carved figures, shot glasses, and local candies (to name a few). He tries to get something different or unique every time. Once, someone broke the souvenir James had on him during a chase and sincerely regretted it moments after.

Y= Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He wants someone who can hold their own. He enjoys be able to protect you, but he would be more comfortable knowing that you can fight. James isn’t a big fan of blind followers or yes-men. Think for yourself and be yourself (and have an eye for fashion if you can).

Z= Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs? Does it change around a partner?)

He’s a light sleeper - another thing that comes with the job - and that doesn’t change when he’s around you. In fact, it just might be worse because he won’t know what will happen now that he’s with you. Of course, it’s not all that bad because it gives him the opportunity to memorize your features or gather evidence of your snoring.
