Hello! I saw that you're taking request for SnV! Can you make a Simo Häyha x Reader where both are enemies in war in real life (pre-SnV) then became lovers when they got reincarnated (following the events of SnV)? Anyways, it's up to you if it'll be a one-shot or a headcanon, just take your time and have a nice day!
A/N: My second piece in one day, holy my hands are dying rn... anyways, enjoy~~

Simo was an Finnish Sniper, while you were a Soviet-sided (not saying the reader is Russian) sniper
You were destined to be enemies, ever since that accursed war began
You personally didn’t believe in what your country allied itself with, the place that the lands had been turning into and you just wanted the eventual huge war to end
After you and him lived through the war and eventually passed away, you met in Valhalla when you were revealed to fight alongside in the same round as the deadliest snipers in history
It was fair, karma bit you guys in the asses, huh?
(If he loses his round)
You guys held onto each other with such care and understanding that it made humanity weep, knowing the love you now carried for one another was revealed and tragic
After being reincarnated, you met one another and eventually married, showing the love you couldn’t at the arena
(If he wins his round)
Watching your enemy fade into nothing was hard, gripping onto him for support from your injured leg was tough, yet nice
You knew your pain was shared and the adoration eventually blossomed into a slow-burning love story, one meant for the history books

Hello, I really love how you seem to have such a good read on RoR characters! Kinda shy asking this because I swore I read Record of Ragnarok for the action and backstories but it’s hard to contain my simping…. (๑꒪̇⌄꒪̇๑)
May I request some headcanons for Poseidon x a shy but kind human fem!MC? The idea I had in mind was that some thousands of years ago, Aphrodite, annoyed with Poseidon’s indifference to her charms, “cursed” him with a soulmate. This soulmate turned out to be MC who wasn’t even born yet back then. The plot will take place sometime before the actual human vs. gods battles start, so maybe during some preparation period where they’re setting up the stadium and all that? During this period, the human audience had already been “teleported” there (I don’t think they ever elaborated on how the humans all just end up watching the ragnarok) MC is one of these humans and coincidentally happened upon Poseidon during her stay. Of course, the soulmate stuff won’t magically make Poseidon have a complete change on humankind, but I was hoping he’d gradually soften up to her even if he won’t admit it.
As for what kind of soulmate AU, maybe the type where the first words your soulmate says to you is inscribed somewhere on your body? I think it’ll be fun to have her say something to him, he realizes but doesn’t say anything back so she just doesn’t know until much later.
Hopefully this isn’t too detailed or convoluted (๑•́‧̫•̀๑) And thank you so much in advance if you decide to write this! And if it’s not too much to ask, please don’t kill off Poseidon, but I also don’t want Sasaki to die either… maybe Poseidon will choose to forfeit (after fighting at first) because his soulmate is amongst the humans that will be eliminated if gods win? •ू(ᵒ̴̶̷᷄ωᵒ̴̶̷᷅*•ू) )੭ु⁾⁾
THIS REQUEST IS SO CUTE OMG!? I'M MORE THAN HAPPY TO WRITE THIS FOR YOU BUT ALSO, UR SO VALID FOR WANTING NIETHER OF THEM TO DIE, IDK WHY BUT THIS ANIME MAKES ME ATTATCHED TO BOTH THE GODS AND THE HUMANS-
Either way, I hope I did well, this was my first time writing for Poseidon!
- Consider how vain these two can be sometimes, it's only natural that they would butt heads often but when Poseidon dared to claim that Aphrodite truth wasn't as fair as she claimed herself- no, that she KNEW herself to be- she just couldn't allow this injustice to stand.
- He cherished absolutely nothing, he appreciated absolutely nothing. So she took it upon herself to change that. After all, it was HER who was the Goddess of Love. So she decided to pull a little trick
- Now, lets flashforward (to modern? ancient? Idk, man, heaven time??) and Poseidon has been summoned to his match. A match he felt was pointless but, whatever, who was he to deny his brother?
- Gracing the God's hall and going to his room to prepare and shield himself from sharing the same air as humans; imagine his surprise when he sees you.
- You're pathetic. Skittish, looking around like a confused mutt, and looking as disgusting as the rest of your kind. He knows your human alone and he's offended that you had the AUDACTIY to walk INTO THE AREA WHERE THE GOD'S RESIDE, AND EVEN STAND IN FRONT OF HIS DOOR.
- In reality, you weren't trying to piss anyone off. You had gotten separated from the rest of the humans and accidentally found yourself in a part of the arena you weren't familiar with.
- You were so relieved when you looked and saw another person in the hallway with you! Maybe you could ask them for directions. Poseidon did not know why you were approaching him so casually but he did NOT like it, like, AT ALL.
- Since your soulmates, maybe the reason why you don't feel his threatening aura like other gods and humans do is because some part of you just can't find it in you to fear him. He takes this as a sign of disrespect.
- You do feel anxious, however, he was such an attractive man but he absolutely did not look pleased to see you and you assumed he was just having a bad day.
- "H-Hello, I don't mean to trouble you!" You call out, your voice quiet and filled with uncertainty.
- He narrows his eyes at you, absolutely enraged by the idea of you approaching him so casually. You filthy little worm, he should destroy right-
- But then he takes a look at his wrist, he doesn't know why he does, a subconscious decision perhaps. But he side eyes you...odd, he makes sure to check his wrist. Oh well, he may as well grant you a few seconds of life.
- Then he checks his wrist and sees that the very first words you said to him...were on it. He looks from his wrist to you, who has no idea what's going on and honestly just wanted to find a way out of this big hallway.
- "U-Um, sir? I-I'm sorry, but do you know the way out?"
- He merely narrows his eyes at you before summoning his trident into his hands and thats when you realize; you're standing before a God. He says nothing to you and you instantly want to apologize but before you could, he just points in his trident into the direction he came from.
- You look at him, scared and confused, and he continues to stare at you with cold eyes. When he doesn't say or do anything for a few minutes you finally realized he was pointing the direction out.
- You apologize for the trouble and run like hell, his gaze following you.
- He observes you closely after that, believing this may be some kind of mistake. Thats why he didn't say anything to you, because a part of him was nervous. But he was mostly angry.
- It showed by when he barged into Aphrodite's room to DEMAND her what trickery she had stuped too and to undo it, she just smiles slyly and asks him: "What trickery?~"
- After some frustrating interrogation that goes NOWHERE...he finds himself staring at you quiet often, the mortals all cowering in fear when they feel his divine prescence. Not you, though, you never seem to notice him until you follow their stares and see his cold eyes, staring you down like you were gum under his new shoes.
- It's a very odd exchange, overall. Everyday, he'd show up at the most random of times and causing a stir among everyone else but yourself. Sometimes it'd even be multiple visits a day. Either way it confused you because the matches hadn't even started and already, you had somehow invoked a God's wrath.
- At least, that's what you thought at first until you noticed that he never did anything to really threaten your safety. Yes, watching you was a bit odd, but you find that you aren't really all that nervous about it anymore. Especially since with every visit, you believe that his gaze softens when they're set upon you.
- He kept his distance at first but then, once you started to take notice of him, you'd offer him to sit next to you as you sat in the beautiful fields that surrounded the arena or would be reading in one of the vast nearby libraries. Originally he would just walk away and as time went on he slowly began to warm up to you.
- Like a cat. tbh.
- He couldn't help it, at least, it FELT like he couldn't help it. He didn't know if it was your bond as soulmates, the unyielding kindness that he originally saw as foolish and niave, or overall just your quiet nature until you saw your friends.
- Either way, the more he began to see you, the more he could look past your flaws (which was being a human) and start to appreciate the things about you the made you beautiful.
- Don't get me wrong, he was definetly in denial for the longest time so he would kinda start off with small things. Like it goes from: "Oh, at least they bowed their head to my statue, thats a redeemable quality, at least." to "She is the epitome of perfection♡"
- You wouldn't really ever know that Poseidon's feelings towards you have grown, he hides it very well behind that stoic face that he wears and he hasn't even really spoken to you, yet. He doesn't know why but he feels like...the time isn't right. Despite his growing feelings, he truly isn't ready to accept a human as his soulmate yet.
- You just assumed he didn't talk much so you never pushed him too. Yeah, it mightve been a bit awkward at first but you appreciated his prescence, it brought you a new sense of comfort and peace that you never felt, not even when you were alive.
- When you made flower crowns in the gardens, you'd ask if you could decorate his trident for him and he gave you a deadpan stare before nodding his head in approval. He'd silently gesture you to follow him and show you a private pool whenever a say seemed a bit too hot for you and watch as you played in it, a soft smile growing on his face.
- He would even feel a bit of anger when he was with his fellow gods, listening to them generalize their hatred towards humanity. Usually Poseidon would join them but he couldn't bring himself too. After all, humanity was pesky and troublesome but some of them weren't that bad.
- They could be sweet, they could be unfailingly kindhearted and empathetic...They could be you. So he'd just glare distastefully but never say anything, but he didn't need to as everyone slowly stopped talking after sensing they somehow upset him.
- He spent a lot of his time with you during the days that led up to his match, you were unsure of who to root for; since it's true that humanity would be wiped out if the God's continued to win but at the same time, you didn't want to see Poseidon get hurt.
- He picked you out from the crowd immediately and made eye contact with you, not even acknowledging his opponent as he stepped into the ring.
- Did he still look down on humanity? Yes. But...he supposed there were some good aspects to it. Good aspects like you.
- As the mythical creatures and gods from his side cheered him on, shouting insults towards the humans, and telling him to destroy them like the ants they were: his eyes were locked on your (e/c) eyes before he finally made a decision. Internally, he had just lost a battle within himself in that moment...but he wasn't upset about it.
- So he interrupts Heimdall's introduction speeches as he addresses the whole crowd, "I FORFIET THIS MATCH!"
- Shock and bafflement was all that could be heard from both sides of the arena. They couldn't have possibly heard him right, though, after all: He was Poseidon, the beautiful God of the Sea, there was no way he would just-
- Then he looked at you and your heart leapt at hearing his voice for the first time. His eyes became gentle as they stared into yours, "I will fight for humanity. For some of you are worthy yet."
- You didn't respond for a bit, not noticing how the words "I will fight for humanity" appeared on your wrist, but he did. And he knew that even if Aphrodite had "cursed" him, that it truly didn't bother him. You were made for him. His perfect mortal♡
- This was only proven when you broke out of your shocked trance faster than anyone and cheered his name happily, your shyness lost as you joyfully cheered his name, causing him to visibly smile in front of everyone.

Ever Dream (Apollo x reader)
Chapter 1/1
Wordcount 7,3k
Title Ever Dream
Fandom Shuumatsu no Valkyrie / Record of Ragnarok
Symbols ✔ . 1️⃣ . 💛
Warnings: Apollo is extremely inconvenient in the beginning; angst with a soft, bittersweet ending
Tagging ? (If you want to be tagged in any of my stories, just leave a comment on this chapter or send an ask or a message)
N. A. Finally I can fulfill my promise and post this little story with Apollo!
At first, he wasn't appealing to me at all, but as his character was developed, I found myself liking him (I basically understood that my lack of interest in him and his fight was due to me not moving on from Hades' loss, since snv doesn't feel the same for me anymore) Also his personality is a bit weird in this one bc I've started to write it before his flashback came out, and since I've wrote so much it would be a waste to restart my work to adjust his depiction to something more "pleasing", so I just kept things this way. But I hope you have fun with it :)
“Come out, come out
Wherever you are [...]
Give in, give in for my touch
For my taste
For my lust”
(Nightwish, Ever Dream)
Summer days might be the favorites among the mortals, for they were long and favorable to the body and the heart, as a good presage for the ones who needed it, but that didn’t apply to you. Yes, as many, you appreciated cheerful encounters of friends under the shadow of a tree on a warmth afternoon, as well as playing games in the city’s lake with your sisters, but none of these small delights were enough to make you enjoy Summer above the other seasons. Honestly, you would be happier during Spring, when the beauty of the flowers would be in its apex, or during Winter, when you would stay long periods at home, in front of a good fire, with warm food and crafting to occupy your hands; even Autumn had a special place in your heart, with its meadows of red leaves and winds whispering mysterious tunes.
The thing is that you used to work as a gardener during Spring and Summer, and this latter was always the most difficult one, for the land where you lived was always too hot for any activity to be possible under midday sun, so you would adjust your routine to work at early morning or when the sunset approached.
It was a hard work: the plants would suffer with the heat, and you must know the right moment of the day to pour water in them, in order to not burn their roots; some of them would even become dusty with the lack of rain, only to be harmed after sudden, summer storms, and it would take an entire day for you to clean the fallen leaves, broken branches and garbage brought by the wind – not to speak about the mud; and, as if none of this wasn’t enough, you would have to fight against seasonal infestations.
It was a lonely work, also: there would be days when you would stay in silence for so long that hearing your own voice after going back home or speaking to yourself during work brought a sensation of strangeness. But you enjoyed the solitude, using it to perfect your abilities and organize your thoughts.
Some would say that you should start thinking seriously about your situation, that is, that you couldn’t live only for the plants and that you were already in the age of considering marriage, but you would just escape from their demands inside the labyrinths of the garden. Not that you would get angry with them, though. You understood their preoccupations, but you were aware of where they came from: they didn’t understand that happiness could have many sources in human life beyond building a family.
And, as long as your own happiness came from the garden, you would stay inside it.
***
If the humans who knew you were the only ones watching your steps with what you’d call an abnormal interest, you could deal with it. But fate wanted things to be complicated for you, so your peculiar, solitary routine hasn’t caught only the mortals’ attention.
It happened that, close to your garden’s location, upon a greenish hill, a temple was built centuries ago. A temple to honor the deity whose powers were always strong across those lands – Apollo, Son of Zeus and Guardian of the Sun, Master of Poetry and Music, and owner of more titles than you could remember. You’ve never seen him in person, though it was said that he used that building as his temporary residence on summer days, which explained the intense temperatures during that time of the year; it also explained why the lights of the temple would be fed until late hours and why there would be sound of chords, drums and high voices all day. You respected the work of the people living there, of course, but you’d appreciate a bit of silence during a period that was so difficult for you, and there you had another reason to show up only when the sun wasn’t shinning in all its splendor.
Little you knew that, from the highest spot of the temple, upon a parapet only accessible to himself, the Lord of that house, to whom all those honors were directed, has been observing that lonely, little mortal who would come every day to take care of her flowers with the same dedication as Heracles by the time he had to fulfill his twelve tasks.
He couldn’t remember when was the first time he saw you: the only thing he knew was that, while he stood at that temple, he couldn’t spend one day without seeing you. Every morning, before his worshipers woke up, Apollo would walk up the stairs that led to the private space where the highest balcony of the temple was, and he would sit at it, with his back leaning on a column, to witness the girl’s arrival and her preparations before work; he would stay there, watching in ecstatic silence as she separated her tools, touched each plant with those delicate fingers of hers, examined each spot of them and gave them the necessary treatment, smiling and, sometimes, mumbling to herself.
Not only he noticed your diligence and dedication, but it didn’t escape him how much you were beautiful. Yes, you were surrounded by appealing fruit trees, flowers of the most interesting shapes and shades, all of them between intricate green walls that only added in majesty, yet your figure caught the man’s eyes above all of them – eyes that were trained to not miss anything that could be pleasing to one’s sight.
The god would cheer at himself with the fact that you were oblivious to this, while he, at that height, was completely out of your sight. It was like in the old days, where he would observe the mortal realm from his spot at the Olympus, except that this time there would be no difficulties in reaching you: as one of the city’s inhabitants, you were basically his neighbor, and knowing that building like the palm of his hand, he knew the secret shortcuts that would lead him to your garden’s gates.
At first, Apollo would state that his morning observations were just a hobby, and that with all the work to keep him occupied at the temple and the attentions he would get from the worshipers – particularly from the priestesses – he would soon forget about you and your flowers. However, he wasn’t fool to the point of lying to himself for too long, and soon he would admit that he was interested in you. Well, he was already desiring you, in a way that didn’t happen since… a few centuries ago, maybe by the time of that temple’s inauguration, when he would lure some of the city’s mortals into it. And now, there he was, leaving the comfort of his bed every morning, sometimes even before the sun came up to greet him, for anything but to catch the exact moment when your feet stepped into that garden, wondering how your voice would send shivers all over his body in case you whispered in his ears with the same docility you did to the flowers, how soft your skin would feel if he caught your frail form between his arms, and the heat he would sense once his lips touched yours.
This extended for days, until he finally had enough.
That morning, he watched you as always, but this time something inside him awakened, and he just let his body move away from the parapet and reach for his private chambers, where he caught his best garments and a pair of golden sandals, and then wandered to outside the temple, to the narrow path behind the hill, covered in stones and sand, only known by himself, and in one minute or two, he was standing at the garden’s entry.
Today is the day. The day when I shall make you mine.
***
It should be a pacific, ordinary morning of work at the garden.
You arrived at the usual hour, reached for the spot of the garden where you started working the day before, separated your tools and went to take care of your tasks.
You’ve spent one hour, maybe two like this, so concentrated in what your were doing that the sudden rustling between the leaves somewhere behind you made you startle and drop your garden shears. You turned around…
And found quite a spectacle for that time of the day.
Coming out of a narrow space between two green walls, you saw a young man dressed in garments that you supposed to be only appropriate for the Summer Festivities, not so far in the land’s calendar: he had a white toga around his body, which hems and details appeared to be sewn with golden threads; golden were also the strappy sandals he had on his feet, as well as the laurel wreath on his head. The first rays of the sun reached the space between you at that hour, and the golden light poured itself over the man’s figure as the hug of a beloved one, revealing that the metallic ornaments he carried were, in fact, gold, and conceding a singular glimmer to his eyes, which you thought to be of the same shade. But that wasn’t the only peculiarity seen in his appearance: his hair, falling on straight strands to his waist, were of a soft pink that reminded you of some of the flowers in your garden, but a comparison wasn’t possible, since they were out of sight at that moment.
Yes, the visitor was a beautiful man, though eccentric, so your first thought was that he was the son of a noble family that came to the city to honor the god of the Sun at the temple beside your garden.
He’s probably thinking that the garden is part of the temple’s territory. I must clarify this mistake and lead him back through the right path.
And you were going to do that very thing, but he was faster.
Without waiting for an invitation or at least a question about his presence there, the man approached your spot and stopped in front of you, observing your tiny person surrounded by flowers and tools with a mixture of curiosity and disbelief: was this girl really engaging in physical work this early?, his eyes seemed to ask.
You stepped behind, closer to a bush of wild roses, but glanced over your shoulder before touching the thorns – something that made the stranger giggle. You didn’t like that at all.
The first words said between you were his.
– I’ve always said that wild roses were not my favorites, but the truth is that they’ve scared me and charmed me at the same time, and I just couldn’t deal with it – he stretched an arm to touch a spot above and behind you; not disguising the feeling that he was closer than a stranger should be, your eyes followed his movement and found his fingers reaching for a flower of the bush – A ridiculous mistake from an arrogant heart… – and, turning his golden eyes to you, – Don’t you think, my flower?
Your eyes widened, but you managed to control your mouth to not scoff at those words: you’ve been working at that garden for too long now, and from time to time there would be one and other man who would come to celebrate the Summer Festivities at Apollo’s temple, many of them from privileged houses… and about whom you’ve already had a clear opinion.
Let me see… Extravagant clothing at this time of the day, bad sense of direction, abnormally elevated self-confidence and no regard for personal space. Of course, another womanizer who relies on cheap flirting to win innocent hearts. He knows that this type of chatting only works when the speaker is young and beautiful like him, but things would be very different if we had an old, naughty man in his place.
You knew that, if you didn’t do anything to get rid of him, he would bother you for the rest of the morning, and you wouldn’t be able to complete the works of the day, but fortunately you also knew how to deal with this kind of situation, so you decided to act right now...
By moving aside and bending down to grab the garden shears that he made you drop. You stood up again and started removing the small, green leaves from its blades as you spoke.
– My Lord, I suppose you entered here by accident – you started; and, looking into his eyes, still with the shears’ blades up – Because, you see, despite the proximity, this garden doesn’t belong to Apollo’s temple. No festivities will happen here.
It was with a bit of diversion that you observed the bright smile fading from his pretty face, but you remained impassible, for you were aware that this one was an experienced gentleman and wouldn’t give up so easily.
And he didn’t.
– I must be indelicate and disagree with you, Miss – he moved his hand away from the flower, but, with an eye on your shears, he hid both hands behind his back – For a garden is a never-ending festivity itself, and the one that is going on right here owes all its beauty to the work of your hands.
You swallowed. He did have a way with words, then. But not even this would be enough for you to allow delays in your routine, and you made that very clear.
– If this is the case, my Lord, I must make use of the same indelicacy and interrupt our conversation here – in a swift move of your hands, the shears closed and opened twice with a metallic whisper – And keep working on the garden’s beauty.
And, without waiting for a response, you turned your back on the man and restarted to prune the bush with the roses, just as you were doing when he arrived.
Not even this was able to shake the young man’s confidence, for he just stepped aside and continued to talk, caressing the flowers at the same time. No irritation or offense was sensed in his tone.
– Then I must leave you to complete your mission – and, after a pause, – But I’m trapped here, and you’re the only one who can release me... by letting me know your name.
Your hands stopped and you turned to him again. You weren’t willing to reveal it to him, but if that was going to make him go away, you would do it.
– Y/n s/n.
The young man opened a satisfied smile. But, instead of saying his own name in return, he just stepped back and nodded.
– For this I will be forever grateful, my y/n. I will make sure that Apollo’s blessing falls over you and your work concerning this celebration of beauty.
And without waiting for a response, he turned away and left.
***
If only the Festivities in honor of the Lord of the Sun were shorter, or if your garden was located in somewhere else, the strange events of yesterday involving that extravagant individual would be just a funny story to remember in an encounter between your friends, or even something you would forget after a week.
But, unfortunately, things don’t always go as we plan, so to your surprise – and exasperation – the situation happened again in the next day.
You were pouring water on the soil, in a spot of the garden not so far from the one where your first encounter happened, having only the sounds of the water falling from the can and the early birds singing on the trees as your company, when the rustling noise of indiscreet steps upon the grass caught your attention.
You turned around… and found the shinning figure of the young man smiling at you, his right hand leaning on the tree at his side, his golden eyes upon you with the same enthusiasm of the last day.
You bit your lip.
I can’t believe it. Did he forget everything that happened yesterday?
If he noticed your displease or if he chosen to ignore it, you didn’t know, but he started a casual conversation without waiting for an invitation.
– Good morning, dear y/n! – he left his spot beside the tree and walked toward you with no sign of embarrassment – As I can see, the festivities continue today.
You just gave him a silent nod in reply. The man’s smile widened in contentment.
– That’s good to hear, for today I bring you something that you might appreciate…
Only then you noticed the object he was carrying on his left hand: a bracelet made of gold, in the shape of a vine and with a white gem in its center, with rays surrounding it as an imitation of the sun. You looked at the object and hesitated.
– My Lord, it is not…
But when the words were still crossing your lips, you felt a strong hand holding your wrist and pulling it forward, making you drop the watering can; before you did anything, the man put the bracelet around your wrist and spent a moment admiring it, with your tiny hand between his.
You even tried to pull it back, but the he held you in place. You swallowed.
Heavens, his appearance is the most deceiving thing I’ve ever seen! I don’t know many soldiers who possess this strength!
Because of this, you understood that you might have been in danger since the other day, so that time you kept your mouth shut and waited to see what his next step would be.
And you didn’t know if you should feel relieved or shocked when you found it out.
– Now you were granted the necessary permission, my dear – he spoke with softness; and, pulling you closer to whisper in your ear, – The way to the Summer Festivities has opened to you at the Temple of the Great Apollo.
You had no time to respond, to move away or to show any form of refusal. The man, still holding your hand, pulled you with him and started running between the green walls and trees, rushing toward the depths of the garden and not allowing you to stop.
You glanced behind and your heart ached when you saw your work unfinished and the watering can forgotten on the spot it fell, the remaining water leaking and soaking the soil.
***
The path through which he led you, as well as the environment you found when you entered the temple was what you would sense in a dream: in one moment, he was carrying you by the hand through the green labyrinth, in a pace that defied time; in the next one, you were inside high walls of white, imposing columns with marble flowers surrounding them from their highest to their lowest spot, and countless tables of gold with goblets, jars and trays full of fruits, sweets and other tempting treats that were taken by uninhibited, joyful people dressed in flowing fabrics and barefoot, running, hopping and dancing between themselves to the frenetic sound of chords, flutes and drums. The place was a mixture of sounds, colors and smells that confused and numbed your senses, in a way that you were only able to stand thanks to the strong hold of the young man.
Despite that, you still noticed how strange was that those people seemed to move to the music as if they were just one, yet they acted like they weren’t seeing each other, lost in their particular world, to the point you wondered if they knew what they were doing or if they were just caught under a spell.
Are they really happy, or are they forced into this? It’s unsettling...
The people only showed a believable reaction when you arrived… Well, actually, when they put their eyes on the young man, and started reaching for him with no regard for your presence, pushing, bumping and even stepping upon your feet.
In a way you couldn’t understand, he opened his arms wide to receive them without letting go of your hand, with a satisfied smile on his face that seemed to light up when the first rays of sunshine entered the place, embracing him with the same passion as the people around.
It was when a thought crossed your mind as fast as those rays, and you stared at him with a knot in your stomach.
Could it be that he…?
The chorus around you, chanting the same words in delight, was the confirmation for it.
– Apollo! Apollo-sama! You finally arrived, Apollo-sama! Please don’t make us wait this long for you again, Apollo-sama!
His face brightened up with the call of the humans, as if it absorbed their joy and turned it into vital force, returning it to them with the warmth of the sun; to them, he was god, father, husband and master, and he was more than happy in taking all those roles for himself, in what you saw as a hungry, even predatory way. Though you still found it a beautiful thing to observe, you no longer saw any resemblance with a man in his figure.
He was something else.
Feeding himself with their energies and keeping them gravitating around him is like a diversion to him. How scary.
And with the same diversion, he pulled you to a tight embrace, giving you no choice to walk away, for many people came to him and were no dismissed, so that you were trapped between him and them, and you didn’t know for how long you would be able to breathe.
Somehow, he managed to walk among his worshipers and take you with him before you in fact were smothered, and without decreasing in enthusiasm, he looked around and chanted:
– My children, my flowers! Another day of Summer came to bless you! Enjoy it, cherish it like it’s your last!
Immediately, the people obeyed him and, as if slowly forgetting about his very presence, restarted the celebration, dancing and jumping around and opening the way for you two at the same time, not really realizing what they were doing.
Not wanting to join them and not being able to release yourself from Apollo’s grip, you had no choice but to follow him.
***
You walked up spiral, white stairs with golden banisters, ran through a corridor and ended up in front of an enormous pair of doors, which he opened with a slight touch of his hand.
They revealed a wide room that, even in your lack of experience in these matters, you knew to be worthy of a god: everywhere you looked, you saw comfortable chairs and couches, covered with satin sheets and surrounded by trays of sweets and fruits, and countless jars of wine; there was also a small fountain pouring water, with a jar and cups around it. You also saw books, parchments and musical instruments ready to be used. Everything there was arranged to display beauty and pleasure, as expected from its owner.
Once you stepped inside, you heard the sound of the keys turning to lock the doors from inside and shivered.
– My y/n, will you follow me to the balcony? – Apollo passed to your side – There’s something I need to reveal to you, but it has to be in an appropriate place!
And, without waiting for your response, he tightened his grip around your wrist and pulled you across the room, to reach the said balcony.
You passed under an arc with a pair of curtains of a peach shade and found yourself in a place that could serve as a common room of a human house by its largeness, except for the fact that it was uncovered; on it, there was wine, fod and water as well, and a couch twice the size of the ones inside the room, yet none of those objects interfered while you walked among them.
Apollo stopped at the parapet with you by his side. With his arm stretched over it, he indicated the entire view.
– Let your pretty eyes enjoy what’s in front of them with no shame, my dear – he laughed – Trust me, the view of your lands from the Olympus is no match for this!
And you were, in fact, impressed with what you saw.
From there, you were able to spot various things, from the mountains that surrounded the city, passing through the town itself, with its marketplace and daily movement, to nearer places… such as your garden, its open fields and the very spot where you were working this morning when Apollo arrived and abducted you.
Your face burned with the thought.
He has been spying on me from here? Since when…?
You never had the opportunity to inquire him on this, because he had no shame in telling you the whole story.
– Since this Summer started, though I cannot precise the day, I’ve been trapped in this balcony, just as I am now – he turned to you with a strange glimmer in his eyes; you sensed his hand letting go of your wrist and wrapping itself around your waist, bringing you closer as he spoke – I’ve been trapped by you, my flower, for I couldn’t spent one morning without seeing you from here, cherishing with your whole figure, your steps, the work of your hands, all for your precious garden…
You put your hands between you and him, in an attempt to prevent him from approaching even more.
– My Lord, with all the respect, this is my work – you managed to speak – I would never be able to properly take care of a garden if I refused to pour my heart into it…
The god’s response was to widen his already present smile, giving to it a hint of something that would be called presumption if he was a mortal man.
– I know it! I know well how these things work, and for this I am jealous – he caressed your face for an instant, his eyes swallowing each traits of yours with greed – I am jealous of your flowers, of your trees, and everything that has been blessed by the touch of your hands…
You gasped.
– My Lord, I think this is going too fa…
Your words were cut off by his next act, which consisted in wrapping his arms around you and lifting you from the floor, taking you to the couch you saw before, not so far from your spot on the parapet. There he sat you down, then knelt to take off your sandals – of course, without missing the chance to let his fingertips wander through your feet and legs. With no visible ways to escape this situation, you could only observe the scene in silence.
The door is locked, I don’t think I could open it as fast as he closed it, he’s too strong for me to put a physical fight and is too lost in his own fantasies to hear a word I say. I see no solution besides climbing up the parapet and jump.
While this thought was still crossing your mind (and your eyes glancing at the parapet), Apollo was already climbing the couch. You tried to move away, but he was faster: holding your jawline, he pulled you close to him, his lips brushing yours as he spoke.
– I beg you, my little flower… stop making me jealous… pour your heart to me… be mine…
You opened your mouth to speak, to reply, to try and reason with him one last time, to ask for his divine favor and beg him to let you go, but Apollo didn’t even give you the time to breathe: convinced that actions would teach you better than words, he covered your mouth with hungry kisses, his tongue reaching for yours in a hurry, his hands grabbing your body with voracity. With the lack of air, your lungs started to burn and your eyes got filled with tears.
Your hands, still free, pulled him away by his chin; he stared at you in incredulity.
– Please… my Lord… – you forced your words out, alternating them with gasps – Please… reconsider…
For the first time, Apollo seemed to have his patience tested, and the slight twist in the color of his eyes instilled fear in your heart like you’ve never felt before.
– Too late to think, my y/n… It’s time to act.
He pushed himself upon you on the couch and a second kiss happened, longer and hotter. Now that your attempt to stop him failed, desperation was taking over you, leaving you with two choices: letting him continue or dying for opposing to a god’s will.
The latter seemed less painful for you, so you opted for it.
Beside the couch, just like the other seats at that room, there was a small table with a metallic jar on it; you glanced at it when Apollo let go of your mouth and brought his kisses to your neck, and supposed that it was full. An idea came to you, but you had to be careful.
If I fail at this, it’s over for me.
With slow movements, you managed to bring your body closer to the table’s side, taking the god with you, leaving him too occupied in his caresses to notice anything around. You even reciprocated some of his touches to disguise your nervousness, and waited until you were sure that your hand would reach the jar’s wing.
When the moment came, you stretched your left arm… and your fingers closed around its wing, lifting it from the table with all the strength you could find.
Everything happened too fast for your eyes to follow: catching him in a surprise was your only and greatest advantage, and you managed to do it. The jar flew from the table and hit Apollo’s head, forcing him away from you and dropping the laurel wreath from his hair; confirming your prediction, the jar was full, and the water spread all over the place as the metal clanged against the floor.
You wasted no time: you dragged your body out of the couch and fled the balcony, leaving your sandals and a paralyzed, dismayed Apollo behind. You crossed the room like a ray and somehow unlocked the door easily despite your shaking hands; not only this, but you had the nerve to take the key with you and lock the door from outside to slow the man who would certainly come after you.
***
Your feet barely touched the stairs while you walked down. Behind your back, there was still silence, but you knew it wouldn’t take long until Apollo reached the door and found a way to open it, so you wouldn’t stay to see what was going to happen.
You soon were back to the wide room where his worshipers were celebrating, and it was with no surprise that you found them as happy as before, and that, as you joined the crowd to reach the exit, they barely remembered you. Still, you couldn’t help finding it scary to be squeezed and pushed to all sides by those strangers, who screamed, sang and danced with no regard for each other and for themselves, as victims of a sinister spell.
***
The image of you running away from him was the most terrifying of the nightmares.
Apollo could have ran after you, grabbed you and pulled you back to the balcony. He could have also stretched his hand toward you and used his golden threads to wrap your body and force you to stay, to submit to him. He even managed to raise his hand while you turned your back to him and moved away, passing under the arc that separated the balcony to the rest of the room… but he didn’t do anything.
He just stood there, paralyzed by the surprise with your reaction and the resulting dizziness in his head, his vision darkening as he came to the shameful conclusion.
What I did… there was nothing beautiful about it.
***
The sun was higher in the sky when he regained his consciousness and left the balcony. It must have been one hour or two, judging by its position now – long enough for the effects of the strike to diminish. His head hurt so much that he was sure he would be dead if he was human.
He left the balcony and passed by a mirror, not so far from its entry. He spotted the bruise on his forehead and flinched: it was darker, deeper than he first imagined. Not that he should be worried about having a permanent scar, of course, but it would ache for days.
The god crossed the silent room and stopped by the doors. One look to the lock and he noticed the absence of the key; the shadow of a smile came to his lips.
Clever girl. Trying to slow me down.
He raised his left hand and, working with his golden threads, he involved the doors and pushed them out of their hinges, destroying both with a thunderous sound. He walked out of the room in firm steps, the wreckage cracking under his golden sandals as he approached the stairs and walked them down.
In a minute, he has reached the first floor, where his worshipers continued to celebrate, yet this time a wave of uneasiness has spread silently among them, clearly provoked by the sound of wrecking materials upon there.
Of course, he was eager to leave and start chasing after you, but he was empathetic with the ones who were there just to love him, and made sure they were all calmed down by his words; with this, they were free to go back to their worshiping, knowing that their Lord would be back in a few moments.
He left the temple and rushed to the garden, as his feet were led by instinct to the place that first connected you, but it was with no surprise that he saw you weren’t there; you didn’t even use the garden as escape route. Still, his heart didn’t ache less with the sight of your tools on the soil, and your flowers abandoned, for they meant only one thing.
Not only you were gone, but you weren’t coming back.
***
Autumn came sooner to those lands that year.
The Temple of the Sun closed its gates long before the last week of Summer, and the worshipers returned to their homes with a strange weight in their hearts; it was clear that their god wasn’t content, but the reason was only known by himself, and perhaps as an act of mercy, he protected them from his wrath by sending them away, assuring them of their innocence and promising a warmer season of festivities for the next year.
The days quickly became short, and the winds of the new season were colder than they were in the previous years; the city’s inhabitants were caught in a surprise, and even feared what Winter has reserved for them. The streets were empty, the markets saw their clientele grow thin, the richest traveled to distant lands and the common people were hidden inside their houses. In the wild, the beasts and the small creatures were sharing the same difficulties, and just as it happened with the humans, there was no guarantee that they would make it through the longer period of cold.
Apollo, on his turn, stood in that house alone, instead of traveling back to his place and his divine fellows at the Olympus: he missed their company, but had no strength to face them after the ugliness he created; it has been a monstrosity and a shame, and this was something he must endure all by himself. And so he did it, spending his days and nights wandering among the cold walls of marble, inside which the sound of chords, voices of adoration and the wine being poured in the goblets wouldn’t be heard, and the echo of his own steps were his only partner; the fires lightened by his followers stopped making him warm even before they turned into smoke and cinders, the sweetness of their incense made him sick and the golden altars and objects of devotion turned gray to his eyes.
All because of what he did to you. Because in his eagerness to make you stay, he ended up scaring you away, and the sun that should have kept you content and safe almost burned you to death. How, he asked himself, how did he deprive love from its natural beauty, he who lived to exalt the beautiful? But silence was the only thing to reply.
***
Apollo visited your garden every morning, staying there for a while before returning to his temple and to his dark meditations. Protecting his physical form from the cold with a gray cloak, he wandered through the natural walls that were once green, but now had only brown and red to offer to his sight; the grass was now a shadow of what they were, just dried vegetation that would crack and whiter under his feet, and the flowers came undone to the touch of his fingers.
Many times he passed by the spot where he abducted you, and tears would fill his eyes as he looked at the watering can and the tools rotten on the cold soil, useless after so long time without executing their functions. One morning, he even considered touching them, but when he approached his hand no remnants of your spirit could be sensed in them, and he moved away.
Well, your presence just vanished from the garden itself, and even from the town: sometimes, he would disguise himself among the mortals and seek for your face in the corners of the streets, but he knew the search was worthless. You were long gone.
Actually, you left and hid on the other side of the land, and even your acquaintances haven’t heard about you since Autumn began. But even you couldn’t deny that the season was less merciful that year… and it didn’t take long for you to realize it had something to do with the episode at Apollo’s House. Maybe he couldn’t accept that a mortal woman defied him, and decided to punish her entire land in return; or maybe he just decided to leave sooner, and with him Summer has left. It was hard to be sure when it came to the gods.
However, as much as you weren’t willing to try and seek for his favor against your will in order to save the people of the city, innocent and defenseless against Nature, your heart has been yearning for your garden, your true house, where your happiness and strength and life purpose were. You’ve been struggling to stay in your hideout and wait until the god’s wrath was over, but you just couldn’t take it anymore.
One morning, despite the cold and the adversities, you dressed up and traveled back there. You had no idea of what you were going to find once you stepped into your beloved garden, and a thousand nightmares haunted you while you were on your way, and the times when you thought of giving up and return to the hideout weren’t few…
But all of this noise disappeared when you found yourself, in fact, standing before the garden’s gates. A breeze passed by you at that moment, coming from inside the garden, and sent a chill through your body – a chill that reached your heart.
You forced your feet to move ahead.
As you walked, farther from the entry and closer to the depths of the garden, you noticed that the sensation of loneliness that you were anticipating didn’t come. Yes, the flowers were dead, the grass was dry and the birds disappeared from the trees, but you had this strange feeling telling you that you weren’t the only living being wandering among the reddish vegetation.
A sudden instinct led your feet to the very place where your watering can and shears were left the day you were taken away by Apollo. Were they in the same place, still waiting for your return? You’d only know if you reached there.
And you did. And they were there. Covered in dirt, dead leaves and ivy.
But they weren’t alone. Someone was watching them in silence, standing among the desolation as if they were just a part of it that was waiting for you to come back as well.
And, perhaps, they were, for when they turned to you, your heart dropped.
It was him. It was him, there was no way for you to be mistaken.
The golden bright in his eyes has faded away, and so was his smile. The pink of his hair was no longer glowing, and the paleness on his skin was unsettling. He was still the god of the Sun, but the Sun just settled.
Suddenly, you were scared. What if he was there waiting to cease your existence in revenge? What if that was just a vision to deceive you, and you were now in a new trap, from which you had no chance to escape like the first one?
You tried to move your feet, but they wouldn’t obey you. Your heart ached inside you, and your eyes were getting filled with tears.
Is this how I’m going to die, then?
Apollo left his spot and walked toward you. He was still silent, but no sign of his intentions could be sensed, and you were too scared to try and guess them. Still, something wasn’t right – and when you finally had the courage to look straight to his face, you understood what it was.
From his eyes you saw tears rolling. And in his expression there was only room for incredulity and pain. It was when you knew: it wasn’t a vision; it was really him. And he couldn’t believe you were there.
Apollo stopped before you and you flinched, not knowing what to expect. You shut your eyes tight… and no touch, no extravagances nor punishment came.
You opened them again and found the proud god kneeling on the dirt soil, taking his cloak from his shoulders and leaving it beside him on the ground, his eyes glued on you all the time, as if you could disappear at the slightest distraction.
You didn’t know how long you stood like this, having only the winds to voice your anguish, but the silence became unbearable, and you opened your mouth to speak – but, as always, he was faster.
– Forgive me.
Two words only, but enough to shake your spirit and think of how strange reality could become. A god apologizing? When would you imagine such a thing?
– Forgive me, my flower – he repeated, since you stood quiet – For those things I’ve done weren’t but terrifying.
He stretched his hand to touch your clothes, but gave up on the gesture as to prove his feeling of shame.
Again, your heart ached, and your mouth dried out. You couldn’t just stand there with no reaction, no word, after traveling for so long to reunite with your beloved garden. But you didn’t know what to do or what would be right, so you just let your body decide.
You knelt on the soil too, before the astonished god, and didn’t try to stop yourself when you saw your arms throwing themselves around him, your head resting on his shoulder, and your skin shivering to the warmth of that embrace. You should be scared, you should be aware of any spell working at that very moment, you should be disgusted to see him there – but you weren’t.
– Yes, Apollo-sama – you murmured, not recognizing your own voice – They were terrifying. But I’m no longer scared.
And that was true. All your fear was leaving. And with the first signs that the Autumn was going away with it, you were strangely in peace.

Hades x reader
Queen of hell
Anime/Manga: Shuumatsu no valkyrie
"The Queen of hell?" Hades raises an eyebrow, not quite getting what his nephew means by that.
"She was a Queen of a country that used to rule over most of asia and europe. Her army consisted mainly women and the wars she fought were legendary. But the winners write the stories so when she died in her last battle she got called a demon, a witch, the devil. Through out history she's known as The Queen of hell, and her empire is referred to as Hell is a place on earth. That's pretty much everything I know." Hermes concludes his history lecture.
"So she's a Queen of the underworld? Why isn't she fighting?"
"She denied the offer, she didn't give a reason." he shrugs his shoulders, watching Hades walk past him.
He was walking around the underground of the arena when he overhears an argument.
"You're just as worthless as the time you were the Queen of hell!" some guy yells while another slaps you across the face.
"You b***h, bow before us, we've killed you so you belong to us!"
"We've freed everyone from your hell!"
"Show us soms respect!" just as one of the kings is about to slap you again you block his arm, breaking his instead.
"I never liked men that force women into submissiveness. All you ever did was to drink, eat and grow fat as your countries crashed under the weight of inequality. You ruled your hell and now I'll rule mine." you spit back, walking past, noticing someone at the end of the hallway.
"You want to join them or what?"
"Well that's a way of greeting a god." Hades muses, enjoying what he saw of you so far. "The Queen of hell I believe?"
"y/n, just y/n."
"y/n... I like the sound of that. I'm Hades, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"Hades? As in God of the underworld?" you ask him. "You don't take requests by humans for any chance?"
"That depends." his curiosity kicks in, interested to hear your request.
"Could you show these fckers what hell looks like? You know, the usual 'cooking them in a hot bowl' kinda hell?"
"That's an interesting picture of hell you've got there." the God laughs. "If you'd let me borrow a bit of your time I'll make that possible."
"Deal!" you agree immediately, not questioning the fact that you kinda just made a pact with the devil.
For the next 2 days Ragnarok pauses, therefore Hades fully uses those to get to know you better. He even took you to hell with him... where you immediately befriended Cerberus.
"Can I adopt him please?"
And that's when he knew.
"You've been spending a lot of time with that human." Zeus comments, watching his brother take a seat next to him, watching the battle begin once again.
"I've always enjoyed humans, the way they can turn from good to bad by a finger snap or how some don't even give up their kindness as they live through hell." he answers calmly, he was never an enemy of humanity, rather the one to enjoy watching their development. "And if you hurt her by any means I'll make sure to show you how hell looks like."
Not waiting for a response Hades leaves, him and Zeus were never as close as he was with Poseidon. "You would've understood."
"Looks like the human is gonna loose." you comment, throwing another grape into you mouth. "Want one?"
"No thanks." Hades denies your offer, standing next to you at the highest point of the arena.
"Why didn't you watch with the other Gods?"
"We have our differences regarding this fight."
"Oh right, you believe humans deserve to live." you roll your eyes, eating the last grape.
"Why didn't you participate?" Hades asks the question that's been eating him up inside. Knowing you were in the panel, with great fighting skills, you denied, and he can't wrap his head around the reason.
"What is there left to fight for? A world full of people who believe I was a monster? Rather than trying to repaint a canvas you could just start it all over again."
"So you don't want to save humanity? Not guide them onto the right path?"
"How would I know what's the right path? I only know that mankind won't change. They despised me for being a women who fought better than them. Just because I ruled over the biggest kingdom in history men decided to throw me off the throne. And they haven't changed yet. Men still try to make empires crumble that women have build. The real hell was the one they have created to tear me down."
Taking a few minutes to let your words sink in Hades starts to laugh. Which you have haven't seen him do so far.
"Something funny?"
"Yeah." he chuckles, calming down again. "This is exactly why I love humanity. Those who learn from the mistakes in the past will create a stronger future and those who don't come to hell, where I take care of them. Lately your species has too many of those for me to take care of alone though."
"Wait, so you wants humans to win so you can torture those who don't evolve?" you sum up what he just said, staring up to him.
"Yes, exactly."
"You live my dream life, damn it."
"I mean, there's a spot open if you'd like it."
"Spot open? That sounds like a job offer." you laugh. "But I'll take it."
With that you actually made a pact, which made you half human half God. You became his right hand after the humans won Ragnarok and assisted him to take all those evolutionary failures off of earth.
*Just a smaaaall time skip*
"I can't believe it's been 100 years already." you chuckle. "And you never forget to prepare the best dinner."
"It's our anniversary y/n."
"Yeah, of being the God of Hell and his assistant." you fill up your wine glass and his.
"Sounds as if you're sick of that title." he raises a brow.
"Not sick as in hate it but as in... Am I just an assistant for you?" you rub your neck, staring at your plate.
"You've never been just an assistant for me, in fact, since day 2 I knew that one day or another I'd ask you."
"Ask me what?" you look up to him, not sure what to expect.
"How about I make you and actual ruler of Hell?" he forms you a crown, matching his eyepatch from the design and color.
"Is there some form of ritual? Or is it just the regular 'I do' we do on earth?" you joke, not believing that he's serious.
"You'd become my wife, Goddess of hell."
"Wait, hold up now, I'm gonna be the what of the what now?" you take a few sips from your wine. "Hades, we aren't even dating yet, how???"
"You've been trying to confess for me for quite some time now so I thought I could sped up the process. Didn't want to propose without knowing you're sure about your feelings."
"Wait you knew?"
"It was obvious darling." he sips on his glass, watching your face grow as red as the wine.
"I'm sorry okay! Every time I tried some idiot landed in hell and started whining, or your lovely brother dropped by."
"Or you got cold feet."
"Shut up! You're the only talking! You could've confessed first, you knew for 100 years! Who waits 100 years!?" you flip it around, making Hades search for excuses now.
"You know what, I don't care anymore."
"Why? About what?" Hades eyes grow bigger, anxious he might have upset you.
"I'll become you wife so we can skip this dating part and start a new chapter." you put the crown on your head. "Now you'll be mine forever."
"That was the idea behind it." he pulls you close, adjusting a few hair stands. "Plus, you're much better at ruling hell than I am and I can't help but loving the idea of your throne right next to mine."
Pulling you into a kiss he pulls you onto his lap.
"I'd rather sit on your throne with you but having my own throne sounds nice as well."
"Anything my Queen wants."

~I'm not who you think I am~ fanfic RoR Buddha x reader
Chapter 1: What can cause a simple faint
⋆。˚ੈ~☪~⋆✩~☪~⋆✩~☪~⋆✩~☪~ ੈ⋆。˚
"All the world is a stage, and all men and women are mere actors: All have their exits and their entrances, and one man in his time plays many parts"-Shakespeare
⋆。˚ੈ ~☪~⋆✩~☪~⋆✩~☪~⋆✩~☪~ ੈ⋆。˚
Since I can remember, they have always shown me that magic, travel between dimensions, parallel worlds, reincarnation, karma, etc., are pure fantasies. Well, most could not be verified at this time… but that does not mean that it DOES NOT EXIST. In my case, I was one of those people who doesn't get carried away by that, that is, they can't manipulate me, although I think that maybe there is a possibility that it exists, right?
Before you get me wrong, I wasn't expecting impossible things like, "Mom got a letter from Hogwarts!" or “Doc, I'm from the future. I came in a time machine that you invented." Of course not, this is not fan-fiction! although it would be very tempting… But coming to the point is that I never thought that this kind of cliché situation of Webtoon manhwa would happen to me, and the problem is that now my best friend and I are trapped in this mess…
Without further ado ☆let's get started!☆:
I am Y/N Yagami, and my best friend is Haku Takahashi!
. . . ~And we are not who you think we are~
It all started when our winter vacation began. My best friend and I got together at my house to watch the second season of Record of Ragnarok or Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, in Japanese, a Netflix anime series about preventing human extinction by the hands of the gods and to That this does not happen, the idea of a tournament called Ragnarok was proposed, so thanks to this opportunity, humanity can save itself from extinction and fight against the gods to achieve this goal.
Haku and I were fans, when Buddha appeared at the end of the first season, the two of us with sparkles in our eyes with excitement promised to meet when the second season came out on Netflix so we could watch it together. And here we are, on a Thursday at 5:00 p.m., in my room with several manga of the series in question, posters of various animes, lots of junk food and soft drinks. By this time, my parents had gone on a two-week vacation to California, entrusting me with the house to myself.
Haku:- At last these Netflix people are putting on the second season!- my bff said excitedly and preparing the chapter on the play.
This person here is Haku Takahashi, my best friend, we met in the first year of high school. A boy who stands out mainly for his hair color black as coal and with streaks white as snow, his eyes are ocean blue, fair complexion, with a tomboy fashion style with a shirt with gray squares with red, green and yellow lines , and a blue jean. This boy is a complete otaku even though he doesn't seem like it at first glance, you just have to say the magic word and his fanboy otaku's side will come out.
Y/N:- Yes, Haku, you're right, ugh, I can't wait to hear Buddha's voice and see the same scenes in the manga! – I said with the emotion of a fangirl.
Haku:- Damn little lady! How many Buddha fanfics did you read to be satisfied with your inner fangirl? He asked, amazed and scared at the same time.
Y/N: - EHE - I answered putting on my most innocent face.
Haku:- EHE te Nandayo! - he yelled frustrated and then said- Oh dear God, who can blame you, he's gorgeous, his face carved by the angels themselves - he said amused with a mocking smile.
Y/N:- Oh, look who's talking! just the person who is a Chinese simp and his tsundere valkyrie- I answered returning the mockery.
Haku:- Hey! Qin Shi Huang is not ANY Chinese, he is the first Emperor of China, besides he is super sexy… Ying Zheng is very adorable, he had a very hard past, his personality is so admirable, that for that man I would make me his wife… - he said happily until in a regular moment and with a small blush on his cheeks, he answered nervously - Ehem, sorry my simp homosexual side came out, ha ha-
Y/N:- Yeah… I already realized, we better put the chapter before this conversation goes from brown to dark…- I said already putting the Ror chapter.
Meanwhile elsewhere…
In a dream garden, with a surreal beauty reaching the divine, full of life, flowers of all kinds of colors and species, its spring green grass together with clean rivers that flow freely. Inside that beautiful place, there are two first-rate deities, a man and a woman.
The man was dressed in clothing of Japanese royalty, white with gold trimmings, a part of samurai armor sea black with gold trim, his hair white as radiant as light, eyes with emerald orbs with sharp irises like a cat's, her fox ears sticking out of her mane with a small tint of black at the tips, a pale complexion as if she were snow white, and her fluffy kitsune tail the same color as her hair.
And the woman with a dress that reaches her ankles, her straps revealing her shiny golden shoulders connected to the chest of the garment, in the upper part of the torso some fine golden lines extend, marking the bust, reaching the waist, Its waist is a beautiful belt that shapes a triangle with several arcs until it reaches its vertex that is shaped like a four-pointed star. Up to the peplum, the color of the fabric is a daisy white, then fades to a midnight blue showing galaxies, stars, constellations and the milky ways. Her ballerinas (shoe type), as bright and transparent as crystal, with a royal blue color and a black gradient and a small pastel pink flower on the top of the shoe.
Her waist-length, light brown hair, with a blonde head of hair, waving in the breeze of the wind, with porcelain skin that made you think she was a doll, her eye color was royal blue with various shades like light blue. , red, pastel pink and aqua green forming a galaxy inside, and a bright turquoise white pupil in the shape of a 6-pointed star.
-Lady avatar, how are you going to prevent the Valhalla congress from unanimously to exterminate humanity? - he consulted frustrated and worried
-Relax my friend, for that I have a backup plan, but the problem is the enemy that is coming -
-The coming enemy? you mean the one from your visions my lady-
-That's right, and this enemy is gaining strength, I don't know if I can defeat it alone… since nobody seems to notice and the other gods don't want to listen to me- The woman commented angrily with her frown
-But my lady, the Valkyries, his brother and I are on her side-
The kitsune gave the woman a determined look and she saw this and answered him with a reassuring smile but with a bit of frustration in her voice.
-I know, but that's not enough, those fools are so focused on locking innocent people in tartar or wanting to exterminate an entire species because they don't like it anymore-
-Okay, don't worry, Your Excellency, today at midnight we will meet at the lake near the Bifröst, to continue with the plan-
-Very well, we'll see you there.-
Both deities left by their side, promising that they will meet at that time.
Now, returning to our protagonists…
The two teenagers looking very carefully at the television, the scene of buddha and loki:
Buddha, entering a rose garden in Valhalla, while he eats his celestial lollipop. Later, with a scene change showing Loki sitting on the edge of a fountain, the god of lies sees Buddha enter the place and says:
-Hey, I've been waiting for you Shaka-kun…-
The enlightened one approaches Loki, removes the lollipop from his mouth and responds with a small smile. -You wanna… fight?- Buddha told him, looking at him with a face like I'm going to kick your ass, and at that moment there was a tense atmosphere between the two gods. With death glares inciting a fight to start at any moment, but before that can happen, a baby-faced Loki who doesn't break a plate and with both hands raised replies:
-No, no! I just had one little question for you.-
At that moment he explains his "discovery" about the power of the Valkyries, the Völundr. While explaining his point of view, of how humans were able to resist the power of the gods to the point of killing them, he came to the conclusion about a power that is within Buddhism called Samavadhāna (Ichiren Takushou), within that mention Buddha bites his lollipop with little anger and Loki finishes explaining that the Valkyries unite their destiny with the fighter to become a divine treasure with the purpose of standing up to the gods.
-Oh, I'm sorry that took so long! So, what do you think, Shaka-kun?-
-You know… that wasn't even close to just one little question. In fact, it took so long, I didn't hear half of it. Give it to me in a sentence. Ya dig?-
I finish answering Buddha, sticking out his tongue with a small blue tint from the lollipop. Loki surprised by his response, laughs and says:
-Ha ha, oh right! I'm sorry! Then I'll get to the point… Are you a traitor?
Loki puts on a sinister smile, at the question he asked the enlightened one. - And what if I am?- Gautama answers, with a defiant smile at the accusation of the god of lies.
Y/N and Haku:- Aaaaaahh! Buddha is so cool! - we both shouted with emotion.
Loki:- What was that? - asked Loki
Haku:- Wait a minute… something is wrong. - said my best friend puzzled
Y/N:- I don't know Rick seems fake, what did we miss? This dialogue is not in the manga- I said confused
Loki:- Shaka-kun... is it one of your tricks?- consulted the deity of deceit Buddha: -That should be my line, you are the deity of lies and mischief, not me- he answered confidently with a raised eyebrow
At that moment, I realized that the Shuumatsu characters were listening to us, I looked at my best friend with a mischievous smile and he realized what he was going to do…
Haku:- Y/N don't do i… - he was interrupted by me
Y/N:- Look who's talking, the one who ended up SLEEPING with a horse to end up pregnant!
Loki:- who said that?! Come out of your cowardly hiding place; great this is the last straw! HOW THE FUCK DOES HE KNOW THAT?! - said poor Loki all blushing Buddha:- ka ha ha ha! I like this person, I like your style girly! - replied Buddha happily
Haku:- ha ha ha! oh my god, what a shame! .- Haku said, while he laughed for a moment, his face showed a sign of pain, as if he had been hurt- argh!
Y/N:- Haku! What happened?! - ask anguished
Haku: -My vision becomes dark and I can't brea…- Haku answered me weakly and before finishing the sentence he fainted.
Y/N: Haku!?
Buddha:- Hey! What is happening there?-he asked the concerned air
At that time, my body felt weird, I was short of breath, I even felt more tired than usual, as if someone or something was absorbing my energy… I couldn't answer Shaka, was he worried about us? I wanted to answer but my voice couldn't come out, my body was losing strength and I started to fall.
Everything happened in slow motion, my vision blurred little by little, but I could notice Shaka worriedly shouting our names, and Loki, a little anguished, asking too, I'm glad they're trying to find us…
I wanted to tell them, no, I wanted to yell at them that I was in another dimension, that something is forcing us to faint… Shit, my vision was getting blacker and closer to the ground and I can't do anything to stop it.
In the end, I stopped hearing Shaka's and Loki's voices, as the vision went completely dark. At that moment, my eyes were closed but I couldn't feel anything, it's as if I was floating in a great suffocating void, since this feeling gives me a little anxiety and fear… did I die?
I don't want to die, I have many things to do! I don't want to leave my life yet, my parents, Haku, they all must be worried…
I was afraid to open my eyes to see only overwhelming darkness, but I plucked up my courage and opened my eyes… The first thing I see is that I am inside the water, how did I get to be at the bottom of the water?! I try to look around to find Haku, but all I see is a big blue horizon…
Oh no! I stayed thinking for too long that I just realized that I am short of breath, what am I going to do? I barely have the strength to swim, I won't make it to the surface in time, I don't want to die yet, I'm not giving up! And just when I was about to give up hope that I could save myself, I see a woman.
This lady, she dove from the surface until she swam up to me. Coincidentally she looked so much like me, she was so strange since she is like an EXACT copy of me, except for her hair color, and her eyes. This woman looked as refined and delicate as a porcelain doll, her long brown hair, blonde?, with eyes that were like seeing the universe in them, and wearing a long dress with small shades of pastel pink .
When "my other self" came towards me, suddenly a field of light formed around the two of us, and she looked at me with her galaxy eyes with great warmth, her delicate hands intertwined with mine, and she gave me a small kiss on the forehead. Then, without opening her mouth, she said these words to me:
-"Don't be afraid dear, you shouldn't be afraid of me. Promise me that NO MATTER what happens, never lose hope and you will always fight against evil in all its forms."-
I nodded several times, giving her to understand that she agreed with what she told me, but at the same time I didn't understand it very well, and "my other self" with a smile answered me with a kind of telepathy:
-"Very well, Y/N Yagami, it's time to wake up, V̴̢̿́̀̂̾̊͛̒̕ö҉ļ̴̬̜̫̣͉̜̞́͑ ██ !"-
Y/N:- WHAT?! - I gasped as air bubbles came out of my mouth.
Suddenly, I woke up in an elegant room, with ancient Greek architecture coming from a palace. The bed, had a Royal State Bed style with a white canopy with gold frames, its sheets were the same color as the canopy, at each corner of the bed there were transparent curtains and elegant as silk.
Trying to calm down for all the weird things that happened to me in less than 10 minutes? I slowly sit on the mattress and lean on the back of the bed to get a better panoramic view of where I was located. The whole room was as big as a penthouse at the Plaza Hotel; for a moment I felt like Macaulay Culkin, in my poor little angel 2, when he thinks out loud "my family is in Florida and I'm in New York" raising both eyebrows very funny.
In the end, I began to look at the room and noticed a balcony to the right of the room, where you could see a large green meadow in the distance and to my left in the background was a kitchen, then a table with chairs for tea … In short, everything was so refined that I could spend a whole day explaining how beautiful it is.
In a moment of reflection I asked aloud, to see if anyone was in the room:
Y/N:- Hello? Could someone tell me where I am? -
Then at that very moment, the door suddenly opened, and a girl with the appearance of a 15 or 16-year-old teenager, with short lilac-colored hair, emerald-colored eyes, wearing an orange jacket, a yellow jacket with a White shirt below, he also wears black shorts with a black mesh on his left leg which he ties with small suspenders, and on his right leg with an anklet and his Converse-style sneakers.
This girl sounds so familiar to me from somewhere, I have her name on the tip of her tongue… I already remembered it wasn't, Göll?!
She carried in her hands a tray, which had a vase with a white rose, cloths, and a glass of water. When Göll saw me sitting on the bed, she turned so pale that she dropped the tray from her hands in astonishment and cried out:
-S-sisters, she's already woken up! Warn Asclepio-sama, that her Excellency is aware!-
Göll:- Your Excellency, 6 months have passed since the accident you suffered near the lake! Now that he woke up from his coma, he will be able to save humanity from extinction, besides, we all miss him very much!" Göll sobbed, several tears streaming from his emerald eyes.
Y/N:- H..hey don't cry, how did I get to this place? and… what do you mean with that supposed accident in the lake? - ask curiously
Göll:- WHAT?! YOU DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING MILADY!?-I exclaimed scared
Y/N: -Oh Jeez! my eardrums… and why do you call me milady or his excellency? -I went back to consult the little valkyrie
Göll:- Because you are the highest authority of valhalla since the creation of the entire universe, one of your titles is your excellence, milady or lady avatar since you were the deity that generates the balance of dharma, karma and that the cycle of life is fulfilled correctly together with his brother Sora.- explained Göll with tenderness and admiration
Y/N: But… I'm not that person, it's a misunderstanding- I explained and then I said- Are you sure they didn't get the wrong person? -she finished asking him
Göll:- Of course you are mylady, we are not mistaken! Take I'll give you a mirror- she said worried
Göll handed me the mirror and at that moment I saw my face… without correction, the face of the woman I saw in the water. My hair color _ changed to this light brown blonde, my complexion was whiter, like I was a porcelain doll, my lips were thin in ulzzang style, and the only thing that stayed a bit the same were my eyes, exactly my color of eyes, but… they looked starry with a little blue glow. What the hell is going on?!
Great, now I'm living the typical cliché of a Webtoon manhwa, in which the main character is “reincarnated” in her favorite series. I mean, it's cool, I get to see my crush Buddha! the problem is… who is this woman and what role does she play? because she's not a canon character, and I don't even know what kind of relationship she has with the characters in the series. What if she hates or doesn't get along with Shaka? If that probability comes true and I find him… what the hell am I going to do?!
When I was about to have an existential crisis trying to figure out the identity of "my other self" and a future relationship with Shaka… The door of the room opens suddenly, revealing a tall man with a good complexion, his hair tousled with an ash blonde sky blue ahoge, medium cut with a long braided ponytail, tied with a tasseled headband. His face was stoic, the man's eyes showed such serenity that it seemed that nothing could get him out of that state, the hue of his irises was so extravagant that it showed an amber color combined with an emerald tone and his pupils were black. What stood out the most in his face was not only his eyes or his white complexion, but also that he had little gold-colored Harry Potter-style glasses that made him look like an adorable person.
In his right hand he held a golden staff, with a snake around it, his clothing was elegant in the ancient Greek style with various gold accessories matching the clothing and with his brown leather sandals.
From the cane and his clothing I could deduce that he was Asclepius, the deity of medicine, although he did not come alone… He was accompanied by a woman, the most important character in the Record of Ragnarok series, with an incredible design, her diva attitude and empowered and with such an imposing voice, thanks to seiyuu Miyuki Sawashiro. A woman hard to forget, the first Valkyrie, and the "creator" of the Ragnarok plan… Brunhilde.
Brunhilde:-Lady avatar, it's a miracle that she woke up!-She exclaimed happily.
Y/N:- Um… but I -I spoke uncertainly but before finishing the sentence the doctor interrupted me.
Asclepio: -His excellency, you must be confused and in shock due to the coma, it is understandable that you are disconcerted- Asclepio intervened
Göll:- Asclepius-sama! I was talking to lady avatar and she was always denying that she is not herself, I even told her about her responsibility as her deity and she still continues to affirm that she is not the avatar- Göll commented shocked.
Brunhilde:- What?! That's not possible Göll… -Brunhilde said and then I could hear her murmur in a very low tone, which neither Göll nor Asclepio heard- is the supposed plan b she told me about, is to enter amnesia? that makes no sense…
Asclepius:- Thank you Göll for reporting, that is one of the symptoms of amnesia, but we still cannot be sure, I will use my staff to verify it and give a diagnosis- the doctor calmly expressed, with a charismatic smile that could reassure To anybody.
When the medicine deity finished speaking, his staff began to glow and the staff snake began to coil around my body. In a moment the reptile finished coiling completely in my body, its eyes connected with mine and I suddenly entered a trance.
Every minute that I spent keeping my eyes on the snake, my head hurt more, it's like a feeling of discomfort and uncertainty. At times, I could watch my memories as if it were a movie; each time those memories became more vivid to a point that it seemed as if he had traveled back in time to live it again.
I even got to that memory in the water with "my other self", but just when he was going to speak to me by telepathy… the trance was suddenly cut off. Little by little, I began to see the luxurious room together with the worried faces of Göll and Brunhilde staring at me.
Asclepius's staff ceased to shine, and the serpent returned to the staff. The doctor's face was pensive, as if he had also seen my memories, his gaze was trying to find a logical explanation until his face suddenly became serious, as if he had found the answer in his head. .
Asclepius: "Please, Valkyrie ladies, leave me alone with the patient, I need to speak with his excellency," Asclepio said seriously with his head bowed.
Brunhilde:- Okay, let's go Göll- she answered courteously.
Göll:- Oh… they call us anything! - exclaimed the little Valkyrie a little indecisively.
They both left the room and closed the door. Leaving me alone with Asclepius, who had a face like this cannot be possible.
Y/N:-why did he ask to talk to me alone? - I consulted the doctor.
Asclepius:- First, put on these glasses, these lenses will help your sight to remain stable since your ocular powers are unstable and they have lost illumination, in this case it generates a slight myopia and astigmatism due to the fact that your soul is not the same that changes the flow of energy- explained Asclepio giving me a pair of round golden glasses.
Y / N: -Wait a minute… How did she have ocular powers and she was enlightened? -I asked puzzled
Asclepius:-That's right, the starry eyes of lady avatar were because she had reached enlightenment and that's how several of her ocular powers originated, one of them was precognition. I also want to tell you that her energy flow, that is, her Chi is different from the avatar. The vital energy of the person in this body is no more and the only thing left to continue living is his own, the problem with this is that I don't know what kind of side effects I could have from this… -he explained to me embarrassed.
Asclepius:- Besides, when the snake saw her memories, nothing matched her memory of her excellence and the only memory that showed the avatar I couldn't see because there was something that had thrown us out of there. Not only her memory is different, but her soul as well, this is much more complex than an "amnesia", she had never seen anything like this…-
Y/N:- I did understand, you don't have the slightest fucking idea how I got here and that's not all… Now I became your new portable battery of this body and the consequences that this could cause you don't know. If you, how the deity of medicine does not know because he never saw a case like this, who could help me? - I said desperately
Asclepius:- The only theories that occur to me are that someone or something has done an experiment with the soul of the avatar and yours… Or that someone of the same rank as her, has a plot to make her go through "amnesia" or that she doesn't is in his right mind. The problem is that we don't know why this happened and why.- Asclepius explained with doubt and concern.
Asclepius:- Although I warn you, be careful with all the gods or entities of any kind, because if they realize that you really are not who you say you are, and that it is a human soul taking her place… I don't know what atrocious things they could do to you .- Asclepio warns seriously and then he affectionately told me- But you can rest easy, as a doctor, this is between patient and doctor, and if you need help with anything or information I will give it to you without hesitation- he finished speaking to me with determination and a sincere smile.
Y/N:- Thank you very much Asclepius, I thank you very much since you do not have the obligation to help me and… - the doctor interrupts me
Asclepius:- Of course not! Not only do I do this for my duty as a doctor, but I am also a human and always doing good is returned to you.- he affirmed with enthusiasm and then with a bit of shyness he said- Besides, I have a good feeling about you and there is something that I cannot explain through science that you transmit to me a kind of… confidence? I don't know how to explain it, I'm sorry if it sounded very strange ha ha ha-
Y/N:- ha ha ha, it's okay and how are you going to explain to others about my "condition"? And do you know the real name of the real woman in this body?
Asclepius:- I will tell you that her diagnosis is Amnesia and I don't know her real name, there are some deities that do know but cannot pronounce it because it is part of one of the rules of the Valhalla protocol, it was rumored that the only exception to the rule was his twin brother Sora, but after the accident at the lake he is missing…- commented Asclepio
Y/N: - I understand… is this Sora still missing? - I asked Aesculapius
Asclepius:- Unfortunately yes… it would be better if I called Brunhilde and Göll since they must be very worried- Asclepius commented
Y/N: - Yes… you're right - I said
Asclepius got up and went to the door. When he opened it, he didn't even have time to say “you can come in now” as all the valkyries pushed poor Asclepius away and rushed towards me to position themselves around the bed. All with tears in their eyes, except Brunhilde since she had seen me before and she had a small warm smile on her face.
Brunhilde:- Asclepio-sama, what is your excellency's diagnosis? Is it so serious that she preferred to discuss it first with the avatar and then with us? - I ask worried
Reginleif:-Our sister Brunhilde is right, does she have a serious pathology and why are her eyes not the same color? - consulted with seriousness and concern the seventh valkyrie
Asclepius:- In principle, lady avatar has amnesia, I was able to verify it with my staff and her memory is blank. There are no memories… I'm sorry, you should be patient with her and regarding her eyes, she lost light due to amnesia and her vital energy flows differently, causing her ocular powers to affect her sight, causing myopia and astigmatism. Asclepius explained calmly.
Randgríðr: That's why the glasses, right? - commented the fourth valkyrie with curiosity
Asclepio:- That's right, these glasses are special since the lenses adapt to the graduation corresponding to the user, they can also change to a dark lens to protect their eyes from the sun, when the user wishes- Asclepio answers with a stoic expression
Hrist:- She doesn't remember us…- said the second Valkyrie with a voice about to break into tears.
Göll:- S-sister Hrist… - Göll stammered, as sad as Hrist
Brúðr:- You two must remain strong in front of your excellency, the one with the amnesia is her… The one who is suffering the most in this situation.- she whispered to the two tenderly
Asclepio:- If something happens or you have a new symptom, let me know immediately and for now you shouldn't bother her with suddenly remembering her memories, since her mind has suffered a lot and her vital energy too.- Asclepio informed and then politely says- With your permission, your excellency and valkyries, I retire.-
Immediately after, the doctor leaves the room and the 13 Valkyries are quite affected by the situation, all with various mixed feelings about my presence, making the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. Until Alvitr, the tenth of the Valkyries exclaimed in encouragement:
-"Hey! We should be happy because she woke up from the coma, not sad, this is not a wake!"-
Hlǫkk:- Alvitr is right, we should celebrate it. Let's go prepare a tea party in commemoration that our lady is with us safe and sound!- said Hlǫk, the enthusiastic ninth valkyrie
Brúðr:- Of course I do, come on sisters!- Brúðr proclaimed with joy
The 12 Valkyries left the room excited to celebrate the return of "my other self" and the only one who stayed was Brunhilde. She looked at me seriously, and she could see the guilt I have on my face, then the first Valkyrie closed the door and then went to sit next to me…
Brunhilde:- Now that it's just you and me… Let's talk honestly, who are you? -Brunhilde asked and then said the following- because YOU are not lady avatar, her personality, her appearance, even her body language is not the same, you are completely different from her and it is obvious that you do not have amnesia.
Y/N:- It's okay, it's very hard to believe but I need you to believe me, I really have no idea how I got here and I don't intend to lie to you or your sisters either, because I'm not that kind of person.-I explained with sincerity and seriousness in my voice, after that I took a deep breath to calm down and declare the following- My true identity is…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PHEW, The first chapter is finally over! Wow I really worked hard at this job… For those who don't know, the word avatar comes from the Sanskrit avatâra, which means 'descent or incarnation of a god'. In this sense, Hinduism conceives of the avatar as a divine being who descends to earth in the form of a person, animal or any other type of body, with the purpose of reestablishing dharma, or divine law, and saving the world from disorder and the confusion generated by the demons. Like, the deity Vishnu, for example, has had many avatars, and, according to the Hindus, has undergone many incarnations.
I also put Asclepius in this story and since he is not a canonical character… I described him as I could imagine it in anime style. I hope you liked it! (T ▽ T *)
ps: If I have a spelling mistake in this language, I have no problem telling me since English is not my native language. I hope I wrote the characters well! I also put several movie or meme references in the dialogue between Haku and Y/N, even when she narrates. (// ¯ ▽ ¯ //) ps 2: In one part I start to completely describe "the other Y / N," when he is talking to her companion … I'm sorry if I made you dizzy I wanted to be as detailed as possible with her.
♡ Ok that's it! ♡
Have a nice day, afternoon or night!
You and Your Not-So-Ticklish-But-Probably-Ticklish Gods
Hades - You try and tickle him but it doesn't work the way you wanted it to. It does, however, take his mind off of whatever kept him preoccupied (likely something Zeus gave to him to handle). Have no fear, however, because with his attention now fully on you, it's now his turn to find your most ticklish areas.
Poseidon - You try and, uh... he's so disgusted with your attempt. Don't you see the arousal disgust in his eyes? Pathetic. And so, as a 'gesture of goodwill' or, er, something like that, he drags you off somewhere more private to show you how to properly tickle him. Preferably without clothes on.
Zeus - Why would you do this? You know he'd like it. You know he'd like it too damn much. And now he wants to return the favor. Yep. Have fun.
Loki - Do. not. do. it. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. ...Aw shit, you did it, didn't you? Be prepared to be ambushed with random tickle attacks throughout the day. And probably the night. Told you not to do it.
Buddha - All I can say is lmao. Giggle fits interspersed with makeout sessions between. Wholesome vibes all around.
Thor - You try and he stares. And he stares some more. And some more. Now it's getting awkward. That is, until he hits you with that psychotic ass, battle-horny smirk and promises to show the true meaning of tickling and proceeds to pounce on you. You've never laughed so hard and so loud in your life. The firm kiss that comes afterward seals the deal.
Shiva - Now why would you do this knowing full damn well he has multiple arms and will use said arms to tickle you EVERYWHERE? He promises not to lose the tickling battle to you and makes due on that promise.
Heracles - Ticklish like no. fucking. other. You do it because his laugh is so damn infectious and you love seeing that determined scowl turn into a genuine, boyish smile. You tickle him and next thing you know, you're wrapped up in his arms and he's extolling your virtues, and you... well, you've never blushed so damn hard before.
Odin - "lol," said Huginn and Munnin, judging you for even thinking your attempt would work all while Odin stares at you, unblinking, "LMAO."
🔱Near Perfection🔱
Poseidon x Human!Reader
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I read an ask related to this, but I couldn't find it. I think Tumblr ate it up or smth ;-;
Welp, have this absolute mess :D
The sounds of waves crashing down on the sand and the breeze cooling you down was comforting to you. Taking in the scent of the sea, a sigh fell from your lips. The sun shining down gave you some comfort from what happened a few hours ago, when you had attended one of your family reunions.
It went on like the ones before, most of your relatives mocking you and talking behind your back for lacking emotions. Coming from a family of magic users, they had high expectations for you, being the second born of the family. But after discovering you lacked several key points of those expectations, they slowly left you in the shadows of your other siblings.
Not that you cared anyways.
You never cared about their ridiculous ways of thinking, or then in general. You don't even know why you even bothered going if it will end up being the same thing.
The thought of your family irked you, causing the sand from underneath you to heat up and slowly turn to glass. You got up from the sand, walking to some rocks where the waves just barely reach the top of the rocks. You sat down in front of the water, placing your hand in the water. Although you were unable to smile, you felt your heart race from happiness from the cold water.
As soon as you pulled hand out of the water, the water swirled around and a man emerged from the water.
You didn't jump back from shock or fear. You just stared up at the man, whose eyes burned into your soul.
"Ah. Greetings, Poseidon." You greeted the god with your usual blunt tone. The god didn't respond to your greeting, but instead stepped on the rocks, his trident in his hand.
"Why do you come here?"
The blonde god went straight to the point. Truthfully, he was aware of your daily visits to the beach, but never paid much attention to it. But slowly, he picked little bits of what was happening to you from your grumbling. That your family are even lower than scum and how you were mistreated and outcasted by them.
"Why would you care? I thought you gods hate us humans." You grumbled, trying to scoot away from the god. Poseidon didn't speak after that. He knew you were right. But right now, his hatred for your so called family grows more.
"You are correct, but your family are lower than scum." Poseidon hissed at the word family. You finally turned your head to the god, your bored eyes gazing into his sea blue ones.
"Glad someone agrees with me. Yeah, my family's a bunch of shitheads in over their heads." You growled out, your fingers gripping the rock and cracked it. Poseidon tapped his trident twice to get your full attention, which worked on his end.
"You shouldn't associate with them no more. They are beneath you." His words caught you off guard. You never expected such a stoic god like Poseidon to tell you this. But it felt strangely comforting.
"I... You're right. I shouldn't go near them." You agreed with Poseidon. The latter got back into the water, not giving you a goodbye, as expected. You watched the god disappear into the water, leaving you by yourself, on the rocks.
For the first time in your life, a smile appeared on your face.
Meanwhile, Poseidon made his way back to his kingdom, his thought of you in his mind. The thought of you, a mere mortal, catching his interest. He originally thought all humans were nothing but worthless bottom feeders. But you...
You were near perfection. Something he will fix in the future.
___________
I feel like I messed up Poseidon again. Also one of the first few to be written more than once! (On my end, anyways)
But Poseidon is kinda fun to write about

can i get thor (ror) comforting his s/o from anxiety
thank you!!
It was late. Yet you couldn’t sleep.
You were sitting up in bed, eyes already adjusted to the darkness of your room , as you listened to the rain outside. Despite the comforting sound, and soft surrounding, your body was incredibly tense. Listening. Waiting. Dreading.
Then it happened.
A loud boom sounded outside the window, brightening the room for a moment, before it was dark again and you squeak as you cover your ears & close your eyes. Shaking as you sat on pins & needles for the second boom to come.
It didn’t. The low rumble of the sound roaming away over the horizon following instead, just before you hear the door open and heavy sound of boots. “[Y/N]?”
You open your eyes and see Thor there. His bright red hair standing out, even in the low light, while his gold eyes seem to shine despite it. Looking at you with keen, pin point focus.
“I...I couldn’t sleep....” It’s a terrible lie. Zero conviction behind it. Besides which you both know why you couldn’t sleep.
There was the sound of boots again as he came closer. The bed dipping as he sat on the edge of it. “I’m sorry. It’s part of my duty.”
“I know that.” He really had no choice in the matter. He was the God of Thunder. And his role in the world, and function to nature & the universe, was essential. You would never be mad at a man for just doing his job. If anything, if was your fault for falling in love with the man who made the thing you most feared. “It’s my problem. I know it can’t hurt me. Or do anything really bad in most cases. I just....don’t like loud noises. I’m scared of them.”
“I don’t want you to be scared of me.”
You blink and look over at Thor, who for once looked defeated in himself. “That’s not what I’m saying.” He glanced over at you at the earnestness of your voice. “I’m not scared of you. Just loud noises. All loud noises. I’d be just as easily frightened if someone dropped a vase or slammed a door. I could never hate you.”
The corners of Thor’s lips upturned, and he leaned over to wrap one large arm around you. “You don’t need to be scared, my little maðra.” You blush against his chest as you curl into it. Accepting his hug as he rested his chin on your crown. “Nothing will harm you while I’m around.”
“Maybe that’s the problem.” You offer, still holding him. “You have to leave when you go cast the thunder & lightening. So I’m all alone.”
“Would you like to come with me then?” You pull back, along with Thor, to look up at him at the suggestions. “If you see where it comes from, perhaps you won’t be so scared.”
Knowledge was power, you supposed. And though you were scared to be up close and personal to the action, the idea of seeing lightening and seeing Thor cast his great hammer to the sky to bring it was also exciting. “Ok. Maybe that will help.”
Thor’s lips quirked again, and he leaned in to kiss your forehead. “Good. Because I have to do this all again tomorrow.”
“Oh good....”

N. A.: So, after almost saying sorry for the wordcount in the previous chapter, here I am with an even longer one lol I've put much effort in this one, specially bc it's the wedding night ;) (wedding nights are, apparently, on of my fav things to write).
A few words about the title: dragonets are a group/category of small, colorful fishes of "shy" behavior, greatly appreciated for people who raise fishes in aquariums. There are really interesting things about them to research :)
Also, I want to apologize in anticipation for the use of the word "manhood" in this chapter bc though I think it sounds good when it's isolated, it feels kinda ridiculous when you contextualize it (but this is just my opinion as someone who doesn't have English as their first language lol)
The Lord of the Seas, as silent as his own domain before a storm, didn’t give any signs that he has noticed your presence in the room until he stopped by your side before the altar, but a moment under his glare was enough to make you wish you were invisible.
He kept looking at your whole form, examining your appearance, that is, his servants’ work through the aspect of your hair, your skin and the gown you were wearing, analyzing your movements, the way you were staring at him, your breath, your shivers, everything. Those eyes, you guessed, were the eyes of someone who was used to have people’s lives and deaths in his hands, and you had no doubts that he could finish you right there if he decided you weren’t worthy of his time.
Fortunately for you – or not, you still didn’t know – you were worthy, and after his examinations, he opened his mouth… doing this to give you an order, as expected.
– Come forward. You are too distant from the altar.
Unlike you imagined, Poseidon had a soft, low voice, typical of a young man.
You hesitated, though you understood what was said, and for the first time a wrinkle of irritation appeared on his forehead.
– You are too distant from the altar, human.
The sentence was repeated in a slightly higher tone, but not even this was enough for you to make a move toward him. When he took one step toward you, it was the end of your self-control: you stepped back, and would have run away if he hasn’t reached you in a second. Your legs almost failed you, and it was a miracle that you didn’t let out a scream.
He raised his hand and you closed your eyes tight, too scared to see what was going to happen, but you opened them again when you felt his hand closing around your jawline; his skin was warm and his grip was far from rude.
What he did after that, however, made you doubt what you were experiencing.
First, he moved your face from one side to the other, as to verify its conditions; the second step was to raise his free hand to your ears’ height and snap his fingers beside each one, making you flinch; he then put his hand at your eyes’ height and showed you three fingers, moving them and observing as your eyes followed everything.
– Tell me – he ordered – How many fingers you see here?
You replied with some difficulty, less because your movements were limited by his hand than because of your nervousness.
– Three… – and, before you forgot the appropriate treatment, – Poseidon-sama.
Finally, he lowered his hand and let go of your jawline. Less patience was sensed in his voice when he spoke again.
– Now, tell me. If you can talk, if you can see me, hear my voice and understand what I say... Why don’t you respond when I speak to you?
You swallowed, and no word was heard from you. You could barely raise your eyes to him, but when you did, you saw him raising an eyebrow, and the corners of his lips curving themselves in a smirk.
What? A god can do this type of thing?
Apparently, not only he could do that, but he had also proficiency in teasing.
– Are you defying me, or are you just anxious?
You felt your cheeks warming up and looked away, but not before sensing his fingers touching your hair, brushing it behind your ear.
– So quiet, so hesitant and small... – he commented; and, with a chuckle, – I thought I would find a human here tonight, but instead of this… What are you? A dragonet?
Your eyes widened at the comparison. Now he was giving you names? What kind of man was that?
Your tongue was almost freed at that moment for you to make that very question, but before the words left your mouth, Poseidon grabbed your arm.
– There is no use for shyness here, woman. Come, now. Let's finish this.
He then led you to the spot he originally ordered you to take.
Now that you were seeing the altar from close, you could see details that went unnoticed before. For example, alongside the earrings, there was a white, folded piece of fabric on the tray, which use you didn’t find hard to guess: in case the bride didn’t have her ears pierced already, she would bleed, and the fabric would keep her clean. You used to wear earrings, but your last pair was taken away during the preparations for the wedding, as well as any other metallic object or jewel you might have had with you, so that you would be at least spared from the pain and the mess.
Poseidon took one of the pearls and approached it from your lips, holding it with his fingertips.
– Kiss it.
You obeyed, despite the strangeness of the instruction. He then moved your hair away from your right ear, exposing it, as well as your neck and collar, and pinned the earring on your lobe. You flinched at his touch, but one look from him and you stopped avoiding his hands.
The process was repeated with the second pearl, and you knew that the easiest part of the ceremony was over.
Poseidon was the first to speak after it.
– These pearls are the sign of the Emperor’s wives – he started – Not only for the others, but for yourself. From now on, your heart, your mind, your body and your spirit belong to me. Whenever I tell you to come, you come. When I tell you to leave, you leave. When I tell you to speak, you do it, and if I want you to be silent, you do it as well. You will carry my children, and only them; no one else can touch you and stay alive, for these pearls must be their only warning. No attempt of removing them will be tolerated, nor even if they come from yourself. Always remember this, and you will stay in my favor.
Finally, he raised the back of his right hand and told you to kiss it, as the ultimate sign of your compliance. No, you weren’t really agreeing with all of that; you never asked or expected it, but you gave him the kiss. You knew it was marking a permanent change in your life, but how many things have already changed since you were taken away from home? Even when you were trapped in the depths of the seas, marked as a god’s belonging, you still had hopes of finding your way, if not out of his domain, at least through it, but you would have to navigate between many things to get there, most of them unpleasing. You still had to learn where you were stepping into, and for this you had to study the territory.
Your study already began, with your arrival at the lodge and your friendship with Alyssa, and now it would continue with this strange wedding.
With the kiss, the ceremony was over. Poseidon held your wrist and, without any additional explanation, walked you around the altar, to the doors through which he arrived. With one hand, he pulled them, and a new path appeared before you.
His steps were steady, too fast for you to follow without panting; you would have stayed behind if he wasn’t holding you. At some point, when you almost stumbled, he finally stopped and turned to you, disappointed.
– Too slow.
You just stared at him, unable to speak.
– Humans used to be a bit stronger in the past – and, assuming a more serious tone, – I am not sure if I like what I see now.
And before you could think of a reaction, he grabbed you by your waist and threw you over his shoulder. You let out a little scream, and had no response from him but a tightening on his grip before he continued to walk on the same pace as before.
This is so humiliating.
The only advantage of this – if you could call it an advantage – was that you were spared from any anxiety that a longer trip to the chambers where your marriage would be consummated would provoke.
***
Poseidon only put you down when you passed the chambers’ entry, closing the door behind him.
You immediately stepped away from him when you reached the floor. You haven’t gone too far when you felt a warm, comfortable texture under your feet; you looked down and found a black carpet that covered the entire place, forming what seemed to be a black sea.
It was when you realized the wideness of that place.
It was like two or three rooms with your lodge’s size were built together, but without walls to separate them, and the existing ones were even higher, leading to a ceiling that reminded you of the skies out there, toward which you saw the bright star flying at that night. All around you, there was a cold, bluish light that touched everything, from the decorations on the walls and the furniture to your skin and gown, yet your sight was as good as if you were under the daylight.
Some meters ahead you, at your left, there was an enormous canopy bed with four columns and a golden shell on the top of each one, and with curtains and sheets so dark that they could be black or indigo under that light; the curtains were opened, but you couldn’t help wondering if you’d feel like drowning in an abyssal zone if they were closed around you. Not so far from it, there was a small table with a bottle upon it.
There’s oppression in each corner of this room.
All of this you noticed the instant when the door was being locked behind you; you turned to it, passing your arms around yourself. Your wedding night was going to happen, then.
Poseidon turned to you and, when he started walking at you direction, Proteus’ advice came back to your mind in a flash.
Trust the silence, the modesty and the compliance, and everything will be good for you.
Everything would be good if you chose to become his Lord’s wife. If you acted like he instructed, you would survive.
But would you still be you?
Anything that goes beyond this you will do at your own risk.
He spoke as if your death was a certainty in case you dared speak. However, if you didn’t do anything now, you would lose what made you human.
My freedom.
And maybe Proteus-sama needed to know more about humans, because if he understood that trying to prevent you from doing something by threatening you with the unknown was the precise way to encourage you to do it, he would never speak like that to you.
To him, my voice means my death. But, to me, it always meant change.
And because, besides a human, you were also a merchant.
And the best thing a merchant does is to trade.
You stopped trembling, and decided to make your first offer.
Right now, Poseidon was going to untie the stripes of his robe, but was still dressed with it. You pulled back and knelt on the carpet, with your palms before your head and your face hidden upon the ground.
You couldn’t see Poseidon’s expression when he saw that, but a sort of annoyance – and maybe a bit of confusion – was sensed in his voice.
– What is the meaning of this? Are you really going to beg for my favor right now?
You tried not to stutter in your reply.
– Yes, my Lord.
You heard him sigh.
– Well, whatever. What do you want to ask?
It was the moment.
– Please, my Lord… Kill me.
Now, a slight change in his voice was sensed: whatever he imagined you asking for, it was clear that he wasn’t expecting something like this.
– What?
You raised your eyes to him, afraid of going too far but eager to observe the emotions on his face while you spoke:
– Please... Kill me... Make me one of your servants... Or just throw me away... But do not make me a mother.
It was hard to tell if Poseidon was shocked or offended by your request. The best you could say was that he was intrigued.
– Do you understand what you are asking from me, human? I can finish you with a move of my hand if I want, yet you would prefer this rather than having my children? – and with a hint of indignation, – What kind of plead is this?
You couldn’t risk his patience now, as much as you couldn’t risk having your request denied. You took a moment to adjust your posture, kneeling with your hands upon your lap, not looking directly into his eyes, then started to speak lower, as if opening your heart to him.
– Poseidon-sama, if you give me a death like this, I would be honored. But if you make me bear a child, it would be the longest, the most painful death I can think of – your hands gripped on your gown – Please, show your wife mercy and don’t give her such fate.
The Lord of the Seas spent a moment observing you. Then, without saying a word, he turned his back on you and walked toward a corner of the room, out of your sight. When he came back, you shivered: he has now returned to his previous spot and had his Trident with him.
So... this is the fate he chose for me.
His grip around the weapon’s base increased, and he extended it toward you in the blink of an eye. You only had time to bow your head...
But the strike never came.
You looked again, and found the three blades pointing at you, at your eyes’ height, the metal shinning under the blue light.
He's not going to kill me, then?
– Touch it – he instructed – Beware of the blades.
You understood you were supposed to put your fingers upon the symbol beyond the blades, and did it. Despite not being made of the same material of them, it was sharp, and freezing to the touch. With all the possible caution, you moved your hand away, back to your lap, and the Trident was pulled back to his owner’s side.
– Here you have it. The sign of my favor. Now, on your feet.
You obeyed and he went to return the Trident to its place, then passed by the small table where you saw the bottle. He opened it and brought it to you: it was an interesting object, with an elliptical shape and a rounded cap, entirely decorated with small, reddish jewels and aged gold. Before you understood what was going on, he grabbed your jawline just like he did before and approached the bottle’s neck to your lips, making you swallow part of the content. You took two shots of the fluid, cold and bittersweet down your throat.
You coughed a bit when he moved the bottle away, putting it back on the table.
– What is this, my Lord? – you had the nerve to ask.
– I am simply answering your request – his reply was unfazed – With this, you will not be able to conceive for one month. The next month, on the same day, you will take it again.
You frowned.
– I don’t understand. If my request will be answered, why do I have to...
You never finished the sentence. You blinked and the next thing you knew it was your lips being silenced with his index finger, after he returned to your side in an instant. Apparently, moving so fast that mortal eyes can barely follow him was one of the Sea Lord’s abilities, something that you supposed to be both impressive and lethal.
He had the same smirk as before when he replied to you.
– Let me tell you something, dragonet. Killing you, thus making you a subject of my elder brother, would be rather a waste after bringing you here. Even worse would be making you a servant with these frail hands of yours – he grabbed your wrists and approached your right ear, whispering – And, concerning sending you away... do you think you would survive as a rejected offer? Do you even understand what it means?
You opened your mouth in shock and he chuckled.
– Not even your people would have mercy on you.
You remembered the relief in Alyssa’s tone when she said she was glad for being accepted.
So, there’s really a taboo surrounding rejected offers.
You didn’t have much time to think of this. You felt his arm passing around your waist and pulling you to him, in a way that you were forced to stay on tip toes, your hands upon his chest, with no chance to escape. With his free hand, Poseidon took a lock from your hair, approaching it from his nostrils, smelling it intensely as he let it slip between his fingers.
– Finally, I conceded you the favor of not becoming a mother, but you are still my wife, you understand? – he approached his lips to your neck, brushing them on your skin as he spoke – You were the one who took me out of boredom this year with this absurd request of yours. Who told you I would not want to see more of you?
Your eyes widened with that. So, he was indeed willing to keep you around.
Staying this close to him was not that bad, though: not only he was handsome, but his body was warm and the fabric of his robe was soft; besides, from him you could sense a deep, addicting fragrance that reminded you of the sweetness of flowers, with a hint of the salinity of the seas. You inhaled it in silence, wondering if it was elaborated to make women compliant.
All of this was observed carefully by Poseidon, and what he said to you about it made you hold your breath.
– Not only this, but you are a terrible liar, you know? – he whispered in your ear – I can sense, smell, your warmth, your arousal from here... It is still just a tiny bit, but it can always get better…
Just like at the beach, when you stood with the water at your waist and your body was too slow to react and avoid the next wave, there was no way to escape the one brought by the god who commanded all of them: the strength of his arm keeping you close to him, having only the thin fabric of his robe and your gown to separate you; his fragrance, which you still weren’t sure to be a perfume or his natural scent; his breath upon your ear, your neck as he spoke; his voice, soft and composed yet youthful, sweet even in the coldest threats and mockery, invading your thoughts like a lullaby, numbing your senses, making his authority acceptable.
If this is what facing a god feels like… how do I fight him?
Not knowing how, you didn’t fight. However, you hoped that one day you would find the answer, for the path to it was right there with you.
The answer is himself.
This thought barely crossed your mind when Poseidon suddenly released you from his grip, and you almost fell. Before you did, you felt his hand holding your left arm, while the other grabbed your gown by the cleavage and pulled it with no hesitation; in a second, the pretty piece was turned into shreds that were promptly discarded with one move of his hand.
You covered your mouth, then your chest with the shock. That was the reason behind that servant’s laughter and the enigmatic response of her partner: you didn’t receive anything more because you wouldn’t need anything more.
His eyes passed all over you, in a way that nothing escaped from them – not even the tremble in your legs. It wasn’t clear that if he approved what he saw, but whatever he might have found displeasing, he would discuss it with his servants later. You pitied them for the tyrannical lord they had to serve.
Poseidon let go of your arm and unraveled the stripe of his robe, getting rid of it as fast as he did with your gown. The blue fabric fell to his feet, exposing everything and making you understand that it wasn’t for nothing that he held such prideful posture.
He was perfect in every possible detail.
At that moment, none of you spoke, and you kept observing, feeling something between embarrassment and awe: the absence of flaws impressed and enchanted you, from the uniformed tone of his skin, to the thin, golden layers of hair shinning over it in different parts of his body; the line of his muscles, as defined as if made of marble; his broad chest and strong arms; the shape of his abdomen, his groins and manhood; his firm thighs and legs. It was hard not to imagine yourself being held, touched, taken by him, and that was precisely what he wanted you to think of, for he stood there long enough for you to catch all those details, fix them in your mind and give room to desire.
Of course. He expects me to give him my undivided attention.
And it was the easiest thing for him to get it, you had to admit.
He came closer to you again, but unlike you imagined, he didn’t surround you with his arms: instead, he held your left shoulder as to keep you in place while his free hand held your chin, in a way that looked more like a study than an attempt of seduction.
– I am going to prepare you first – he spoke more to himself than to you – Most humans use kisses for this type of thing, don’t they? It worked with the previous one – his thumb caressed your lips as he approached his own, whispering – It might work for you as well…
And it worked. As he approached his mouth and put it over yours, you closed your eyes, afraid that he would just suffocate you with greed, but none of this happened: he started with small, brief touches on your lips and the corners of them; noticing your compliance, he made the kisses longer and experimented with them, sucking your lower lip, opening your mouth to reach your tongue with his, while his hands started caressing your face, your neck and shoulders, then go all over your body, warming up your skin; they were strong, but didn’t lack gentleness.
As he extended his kisses to your chin, your neck and collarbone, with his hands continuing to work on the rest, you began to feel sleepy, even relaxed.
Even when humans aren’t common here, he really knows how to do it with them. Maybe these things are not that different with other folks.
When Poseidon understood it was the right time, he took you in his arms and carried you to the canopy bed. Concretizing your fear, he indeed closed the curtains when he laid you on the mattress, so the apprehension of being surrounded by darkness couldn’t be denied, but at the same time it was good not to have yourself exposed as before.
As cold ripples that reach your feet when you first enter the sea, you felt his hands touching your feet, then your legs; it tickled you, but when you tried to move them away, you sensed his hand closing around your ankle and pulling you down to him.
– Where are you going, dragonet? – he put his body over yours, and you sensed his hand leaning on the sheets beside your head – It is too late for this.
You didn’t reply. With his other hand, he searched for your mouth, and carried on with the kisses when he found it. At the same time, you felt his knee moving your leg to the side, separating it from the other as he laid upon you.
You were now one of Poseidon’s wives.
