Summary : Sakura sat up and took the canteen. She noticed that it was half full. She lifted the canteen to her lips but stopped when a thought crossed her mind. The canteen was half full, Sasuke had already drunk from it. He had put his lips where Sakura would put hers. She blushed. Which meant : ‘Indirect Kiss,’ she thought.

Sakura fell to the ground, exhausted. Her body was one big ache and she could not move anymore. It was unusually hot in Konoha and yet, Kakashi had decided to maintain their training. Sakura glared at him. He was sitting under a tree, sheltered from the sun, and he was giggling, reading his book, while Sasuke, Naruto and her had to train under a blazing sun. She hoped he would choke on his giggle. That was all he deserved for forcing them to stay in this hell. And she was thirsty. She thought she should go get something to drink, but she was far too exhausted to stand up.

A shadow stood in front of her, shielding her from the sun. She looked at the shadow and saw it was Sasuke. He seemed just as exhausted as she was. He was holding his canteen and he handed it to her.

“You didn’t look too well,” he explained. “I thought some water would do you good.”

Sakura sat up and took the canteen. She noticed that it was half full. She lifted the canteen to her lips but stopped when a thought crossed her mind. The canteen was half full, Sasuke had already drunk from it. He had put his lips where Sakura would put hers. She blushed. Which meant : ‘Indirect Kiss,’ she thought.

“Are you okay ?” Sasuke asked.

Sakura jumped, snapping out of her thoughts. She could see the worry in his eyes. She must have been so red, he must have thought she was feeling sick from the heat. She reassured him, telling him that everything was fine. She took a sip. The idea of this indirect kiss had not got out of her head. She gave him back his canteen while thanking him. Sasuke nodded and turned around. She saw him take a sip from his canteen and she heard Naruto shouting :

“Are you okay Sasuke ? You face is red !”

Sasuke tensed and threw his canteen at Naruto's face who narrowly dodged it. The Uzumaki did not understand his reaction and started to yell at the Uchiha. An argument ensued and a fight broke out. Sakura could not help smiling. Apparently, Sasuke had had the same thought as her.

It’s less of a big deal for Miyuki then Okumura

We’ll say you’re a first year in Okumura’s class and you’re there because you tested in academically

The second he hears your last name he’s on guard

I feel like you and Miyuki are really close, after all your parent took care of you both the most

I also think you’ve only recently become step-brothers, like end of Miyuki’s first year

But your parent helped look out for him even before they got with Miyuki’s dad

You were friends as kids and that’s how your parents met

Now that the backstory is out of the way, Miyuki is totally the first to know

He lives with Okumura and heard him mumbling your name in his sleep

The boy was literally just dreaming about having lunch with you, not that Miyuki knew that

As soon as he heard your name leave the younger catcher’s mouth he was out the door

He’s not super protective of you, and Okumura doesn’t seem like a bad guy

But he’s watching over you

Then you start visiting him pretty regularly, and you keep looking at Okumura

And then you come over to his room to help Okumura study, he’s honestly a bit over dramatic when you say you aren’t there for him

Mochi and Zono laugh at him when he asks for advice

So he calls Ryou and Tetsu, and they aren’t much help either

Apparently “what do you do when your roommate who hates you is in love with your step-brother” is a funny question

Ryou announces that no one is good enough for his little brother, and Tetsu points out that Masashi only thinks about baseball

Miyuki wants to help you two get together, but also as Captain and competition for Okumura he’s not really sure he should

On Okumura’s end, he doesn’t even realize

It’s Seto who notices and is left to suffer in silence because he knows Okumura wants to focus on baseball

But Okumura always asks you for help in class when he’s confused, and Seto has been abandoned when pairing up for projects and group work

He’s happy for his friend, but also it’s killing him

So he vents to Kaoru

Look, the whole team finds out you like each other before you two realize

Except Sawamura, and we’ll get back to him in a minute

It gets to the point the team can’t look at you two without smiling and giggling

And Okumura thinks these people like you, which makes him self conscious

It’s a mess

You have to confess, and Miyuki’s the one to push you to do it because it kind of starts affecting Okumura

It’s not his place to meddle in wolf boys life, but it’s basically his right to meddle in yours

If you don’t confess, because you two understand the importance of baseball, he tells Sawamura about the situation

He wasn’t expecting Sawamura to openly confront Okumura, which he really should have seen coming

But Sawamura actually manages to hype him up enough that he decides to tell you

After walking way from Sawamura all grumpy, the pitcher thinks he failed and is ready to go talk to you instead

But when he goes to find you he find you and Okumura having lunch together, practically pressed into each other's sides

He reports back to Miyuki, and by the end of lunch everyone knows you and Okumura are dating

I’m torn because on one hand I think Miyuki would give Okumura a shovel talk

But on the other I don’t think he would for two reasons

The first being he doesn’t want to ruin the tentative relationship they already have 

Honestly Okumura is glad he doesn’t have to worry about Miyuki being petty if you two break up

The second is, it’s way funnier watching Okumura squirm as he anticipates it

Like, for a week straight, everytime Miyuki asks to talk to him he expects the “if you hurt him…” talk

But it’s always stuff like, thoughts on our pitchers? The batters we’re facing next?

And sometimes he actually gives Okumura advice about you, like your favorite snack

Chapter 15 Episode 3 Part 1

We start with narration about the three siblings, Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo. When they were young they used to lived in harmony. But there’s always a pecking order. Amaterasu is regarded as the highest, watching over her world from the place one closest to god. If someone ask her why she exiled Susanno, she would respond “I did it because I knew I should”. We cut to the present, when we see Uzume run into Amaterasu. She’s says she hasn’t seen her in a while. Uzume remembers how they used to go out and do stuff together. Amaterasu acts coldly towards her and says she’s in a rush. Uzume ask her if this is about her brother. Uzume tells to stop worrying about Susanoo and do whatever she wants to do and have fun and to stop fighting with her siblings. Amaterasu says she has a responsibility to Susanoo to be the World Rep.

Back to Future City with MC, Masashi and Nobumichi appeared to greet MC (while Bael is still in background being pissed at Masashi). Maria ask what did they do to Jacob and the others, is it brainwashing. Masashi says that if it was brainwashing it would make the other person look like a fool. The locals are doing this based on their own judgment (sounds like bs but whatever). Masashi goes on and on about the perspective of a superior being. For example, the view from the top of a castle is different from the view from standing on the ground. If you could see disaster coming from far away from the top, you would have to ignore the words of those on the ground and respond, right? There are decisions that can only be made by those who stand above everyone else. No matter how cruel and cold the treatment may have seemed to those of lower rank. If it's necessary, do it. It's the duty of a higher-ranking being. The reason they don't explain anything is because you can't understand what they say.

We cut to some of the World Reps elsewhere. Amaterasu says it’s time for the game to come an end. There were no more words to be exchanged as the World Reps from the three guilds battle.

We cut to Daikoku and Takeminakata. Daikoku goes on about the perspective of higher and lower beings. Takeminakata ask why are they in the fire department headquarters. Daikoku is here to talk to Raven. Daikoku ask Raven what do the Game Masters think of this situation. Raven knows that Daikoku has a grudge against Amaterasu and is probably trying to get info out of him to use against her.

We cut back to MC and others. As MC and the alliance try to fight against the Rule Makers forces, Tsukiyomi and the rest of the Outlaws show up to help. He tells MC they must leave this Future City. They already have informed the other guild alliances of the same thing. Even if everyone stays here, they will have no choice but to retreat eventually. However, if they all scatter and run away, they will be defeated individually, so they have to hold them back. Back to Baphomet and Onyankopon. Baphomet ask what went wrong during the surgery. Sanzo’s sacred artifact has rejected the implanted memory of the future. it’s possible that it’s a sacred artifact that made what was written prohibited. Onyankopon believes that Sanzo’s role and "prohibitions" rejected the future memory implant. Baphomet ask if it’s alright if they chase after Sanzo after all they are now personally interested in them.

Back to MC and Tsukiyomi. MC ask why should they leave. Tsukiyomi says unless you’re local, you probably won't be able to get to the bottom of this matter. You have lived as a human in this Tokyo. That's why he think you're more qualified than him in this situation. Another reason is he wants you to choose your future. He talks about his siblings, about how they always fight and he couldn’t do anything about it. He always thought about what other future there would be. Even if that was an inevitable future, He wanted to give those two the time to make a choice. It's not something given to someone else. You have the opportunity to choose your own future. While the Outlaws was holding the enemy back. Nyarl space leap MC somewhere safe.

Here you can see Gaara with his third biological Child and second Daughter, Shiina Kobayashi. Even Reeze gave Birth at home, Gaara insisted that Reeze should go to the Hospital and let the Doctors check if everything is alright with her and the Newborn. He was just worried since she gave Birth at Home while he wasn't with her.

Yes, Reeze gave Birth at home two Weeks too early. She prepared Gaara's Birthday at home with Temari when the Labors started. So it was in Fact Temari who helped Reeze during Childbirth and it went really fast, after two Hours she was born on January 18th, one day before her Fathers Birthday.

Shiina was from the beginning a real Crybaby. She cried a lot, especially during the Night and the first year with her was very difficult for her Parents. Sometimes even Reeje couldn't calm her down, sometimes even Gaara couldn't. But she was really Daddy's Princess from the Beginning. Mostly it was Gaara who got up at Night when she cried, to help Reeze so she could sleep. He was often awake at Night anyway because of his still present Insomnia and Nightmares. And because Reeze was alone with her during the Day, Gaara wanted to do his Wife a Favor and took care of the Baby at Night.

From the first Moment he hold her in his Arms, he was the proudest Father on Earth. 💙

Hey, I appreciate the heads up but I am genuinely not worried about it. No franchise I write fan works of is going to be challenged in their market by me writing a short story for a small online community. If I were going to mass-sell copies of these stories and tote them as my own characters, then yeah, that's an issue. This however is comparable to an artist alley poster sale, it truly doesn't affect the source material at all.

And if Masashi Kishimoto wants to come at me for $10, then that's his business I guess.

Yeah, Fiona is a foreign exchange student from Ireland, she got stranded during the tragedy and is stuck with the shelter but she wants to get home.

All I know she doesn't like Mr. Hashimoto but can't leave because she is protecting 2 other kids; Kanae and Rui Kirishima, a brother and sister duo as Kanae is a bit of a doormat and even helped me, Masashi and Miyo escape and I do want to save her along with the other kids too.

Seems aside from Masashi and Rui, there looks to not be a lot of boys.

Yeah... in fact he usually doesn't allow boys pass the age of 15 to stay and just kicks them out or they disappear, in fact he was going to kick Masashi out for that reason.

I try to reason with him but he say there 'wasn't anymore room' but say that if I leave Miyo behind which I couldn't accept which Fiona gave us a weapon and allow me, Miyuki and Miyo to escape.

Takeo: That hoodie is Cellophane merch! It’s highly elastic to be able to fit around folks with mutations. His hair just grows like that. If you cut his bangs off, then his new “bangs” will turn yellow within a few days. Idk how it works, but the same thing happens to Mieko if you cut off the ends of her hair(they tested it out when they were kids) Yes those are socks with sandals He enjoys babysitting his siblings! He’s one of the very few people Masashi tolerates. He has a big scar on his right shoulder right where his neck connects with his shoulder. He normally covers it up, not because he doesn’t like it, but because he can tell it makes his Dads upset

Maemi: She normally is supposed to have resting sad face but she looks happy and that’s inaccurate soooooo Surprisingly, an extrovert! She loves being around people, even if she just hangs out in the background and keeps quiet That onesie is Shinsou Hero Merch! It’s black with a purple spiral Her favorite color is pink, hence the socks Her hair is supposed to resemble Fuyumi’s in term of style, and idk how well I pulled it off A really chill baby. A good balance to her twin

Masashi: Wearing some ChargeBolt merch! A little brat. Trash baby. Is always angry. Suffers from Resting Bitch Face His hair tends to just float around like he’s underwater, but only in little clumps and not too an extreme extent His hair is also static-y like, 80% of the time Denki has sent Bakugou plenty of videos featuring this little clown having a tantrum saying “Blasty look it’s u” For a while, the only way to get him to sleep without a huge tantrum would be Hitoshi hypnotizing him to sleep His quirk also manifested super early during a tantrum. Let’s say around 2-3 years old.

This turned into me ranting about how Masashi is a little brat baby but oh well that’s all he deserves

Sarada hit the ground and a huge crater formed under her feet. She had been training for over an hour but she could not clear her head. Mitsuki had offered to train with her, but she had declined.

She could not stand anymore hearing him say that Kawaki was his sun and that he wanted to kill Boruto. She could not stand seeing the hatred of Shikadai, Inojin and all her friends every time they talked about Boruto. She could not stand Shikamaru trying to make her see reason. She could not stand hearing Himawari call Kawaki “ni-san” and seeing the admiration in her eyes. The same admiration she had for Boruto before their world collapsed.

Sarada screamed with all her might, feeling an overflow of emotion invade her. She fell to her knees from exhaustion. Boruto had fled the village two years ago, helped by her father. Since then, she had no news from them but it was better this way. Boruto was a fugitive and no one should know where he was. She still remembered that day when he had left. She had returned home and she had fallen into her mother's arms in tears. She had told her everything, unable to keep it to herself any longer.

“Do you believe me ?” She had asked her. “Do you believe me when I tell you that Boruto did not kill the Hokage ?”

“Of course I believe you. I trust you, Sarada.”

That had reassured her. Even if no one believed her, she still had her mother's support and she knew that Boruto was safe with her father. On the other hand, she would never have imagined that his absence would be so painful and that she would miss him so much. When she thought about it, she had spent her whole life with him. Their parents were friends, they had been at the academy together, even if at that time they could not stand each other. They had been promoted to genin in the same team and he had told her that he would protect her when she would become Hokage. When they went on a mission, they knew what the other was thinking, just with one look. She had blind trust in him and she knew that it was mutual.

That's why since he left, she felt like she had lost a part of herself. As if Boruto had taken this part with him and that she would be able to get it back when he returned.

And then, there were the inhabitants of the village. She knew what they were saying about her. She was the daughter of a traitor so it was no wonder she would defend another traitor, the Hokage's assassin. Her friends and even Shikamaru, the new Hokage, tried to make her see reason, but she would never stop defending Boruto. Even if he was far away from her, even if it cost her her dream of becoming Hokage.

She stood up and went home. Her mother must have come home from work and she did not want to worry her. She looked at the statues of the Hokages.

Two years, she thought. Two years since Boruto left. She did not know when he would come back, but she would wait for him. She would always wait for him.

Like Takashi, I like to read novels, essays, philosophy, and business books ,I like to read everything. When I was young, I also went to second-hand bookstores . I like the decoration and smell.If you have troubles, you can get inspiration from the books

The Cycle of Hatred in Naruto fandom.

Ok, so I just wanted to write a little post on why this fandom (Naruto fandom that is) needs to chill and stop hating on each other so much. But first, let’s get clear in our minds that “Naruto” is a business franchise, and the goal of any business venture is to earn 💰. Earn money by evoking emotions in you. Now that this is clear, let’s move on. This will be a short (not rant) but rather advise to the various “camps” in this community.

1. To the remaining NaruSaku bunch:

Yes, I get it, you’re disappointed with the ending. Yes, you wanted Naruto with Sakura and apparently you cannot see how in the world NaruHina even happened. But if you took your bias out for a bit, you would see that pairing Naruto with Hinata was THE ONLY positive outcome for Naruto romance-wise. Or did you really want Naruto to end up with a “prize” that never even ONCE expressed her desire to be with him romantically in any way, shape or form. And don’t bring up the fake confession because this is all that is. FAKE. To save the love of her life from sinking into darkness. And how can you go around Hinata’s heartfelt confession during the Pein arc? So, please STOP insulting Hinata and her fans - let people enjoy the canon pairings that were planned from the beginning of serialisation of the project.

2. To the very vocal SNS community:

I’ll just keep it simple. If Masashi Kishimoto wanted this manga to be shonen-ai or yaoi, he would’ve acted on it. Editor or not, Kishi stands behind his story. He always has. And please don’t bring the supposed “homophobia” into this. Homophobia is a very serious rl issue that affects millions of people worldwide and you’re NOT helping the cause by insulting and hating on people enjoying the het canon pairings of Narutoverse. You do realize that your rants about it only trigger more hate towards yourselves and the cycle of hatred goes on. So we all end up bashing real living breathing humans “for the sake” of inked characters.. Let it sink in.

3. To the die hard SasuKarin minority:

Bruh.. There’s so much I’d like to bring up here but I’ll stick to basics. Firstly, your claim to be Sasuke fans is ridiculous because you seem to view him as a mindless, powerless beta male that was harassed by a woman SO HARD that he decided to give it to her.. really?! Is that who you think he is? Because that’s what you all seem to claim by saying that “Sakura chased after him”. You take that line from Gaiden and take it completely out of context. Do you know ANYTHING about Sasuke? Anything at all? If there’s anything manga taught us about his character is that Sasuke Uchiha acts as he pleases. He did so when he first left the village, he did so when he killed Orochimaru, he did so when he fought with Naruto, he did so when he willingly gave up his old worldview, and he did so when he married his wife. And you bring up “rape” into the matter. Seriously?! Do I need to bring up the sweaty t-shirts, licking somebody all over and ravaging them in their sleep? Do I? Thankfully, Karin redeemed herself by worrying about Sasuke’s wife well-being enough to deliver her baby and by thinking about HER happiness in Sasuke Shinden. She clearly cares about the Uchiha family wellbeing more than you do. She moved on!! So should you.

4. To NaruHina and SasuSaku respectively:

There is NO popularity contest. Man, I can’t believe we’ve got to this. There is absolutely NO popularity contest between Sakura and Hinata, neither there is for their romances. They’re different, just as the girls are different, and the boys are different. There is no such thing as a cookies cutter perfect romance. They’re written differently and I’m thankful to Kishimoto for that. I wouldn’t want every couples way to the altar copy-pasted. SS is angstier and more complicated. Their history is different. Yes. NH has been more subtle during the Shippuden but both pairings came together as was planned and we should feel proud and victorious that our ships made it to canon. But that’s too boring I guess. I guess tearing each other down is the new sport. So please tell me: what has Sakura ever done to Hinata except for being a good friend?! Same goes for Hinata. Can you put away your hate for Sakura/Hinata for one minute to appreciate the fact that the girls are ACTUALLY HAPPY! The way it was planned from the beginning. They’ve both suffered, ached and spilled tears for the men they love SO MUCH. And now they’re happy! Can’t we celebrate that?! This brings me to my next and final point.

5. To Sakura haters:

I’ll keep it brief. I honestly really truthfully DO NOT get WHY you hate on her so much.I REALLY DON’T.

5.1. For those of you who hate her for getting in the way of your ship, please see above. You really must either not have read the manga, or fanfiction.net is your source of truth. Hating her for being paired with Sasuke is same as hating Kishimoto for making Naruto a jinchuuriki because both canon facts were pre-planned by the author.

5.2. If you hate her for being mean to Naruto, then I suggest reading the manga past chapter 3 because this misconception gets debunked really quickly. You should stop refusing to accept the fact that Sakura really cares about Naruto as a friend and a precious teammate.

5.3. If you hate her for being “useless”, I don’t even know what to tell you because.. you know.. you don’t know the content of the manga called “Naruto” so why don’t you put away your bias for a minute and try to see what I see? All you have to do is clear your mind of all misconceptions and just read the manga with, you know, open mind?! To see how many lives she saved, how much of strength she has considering her humble beginnings, and how much valued she is in the village.

To the rest of Naruto fandom that gets swayed in every direction influenced by reviewers on social media, extremist shippers or even have trouble realizing that characters are fictional and nothing really happens to them unless it’s written into the canon verse by the author, I have one advice to you: please don’t let anyone’s opinions affect your judgement. YouTube reviewers are PAID to provoke and trigger you. They earn money by imposing THEIR ideas and theories onto YOU. Some of them bring their own life experiences into the discussion which only causes you to self-insert.

Naruto is an awesome manga! It deals with such important issues and carries such a positive message! Please, STOP ruining it by pointless wars that only fuel more hate!

Now. Going back to my first point about the money. Anime production studios have a huuuge interest in you staying glued to the screens. They’ll do anything to provoke you to talk about whatever happens on screen. They will bring their own bias into the mix, and fuel this madness even more. For the anime only fans I will say that you’re doing a huge disservice to yourself and to the work of art that “Naruto” is by only watching anime. It adds another layer of interpretation thus confusing you even more. Please, read the manga! It’s so worth it!

Mangaka Are Flawed People Like You and I

If Shonen Jump is considered to be the “World’s Most Popular Manga,” then you can bet that the creators behind the magazine’s landmark series are some of the most popular people in the world today.

Of course, with the attention Shonen Jump series get, there always comes the chance of a big problem that gets exposed. 

And recently, this was the case as Nobuhiko Watsuki, creator of Rurouni Kenshin, had a big exhibition for the series in Japan. This comes off his conviction of having child pornography in his possession and not having to be in jail for an indefinite period of time (compared to what he would face in the West). What got many fans talking was the fact that 14 notable mangaka with ties to Shueisha wrote congratulatory messages for Watsuki and causing (mostly Western) fans of those mangaka to have conflicting feelings over their favorite creators for celebrating someone who’s a convicted pedophile.

Eiichiro Oda, Masashi Kishimoto, Hideaki Sorachi, Yusei Matsui, Takeshi Obata, Hiroyuki Takei are just some of the familiar names many manga fans will recognize that praised Watsuki. Seeing Sorachi’s name does worry me a bit since I know he’s done jokes about lolicons and such. I think what it comes down to is how close-knit mangaka are with each other. The manga industry is extremely rough and insular. There’s little room for social interaction outside of work, so it’s usually your co-workers that you talk to the most at times. I know Oda was an assistant under Watsuki before creating One Piece, so there’s also the senpai-kouhai relationship in play here as well.

This doesn’t excuse Watsuki for what he did. I’m not sure if he’s truly apologetic for his actions. I did hear that one of the major reasons that Watsuki was let off the hook was because Shueisha felt that they had to honor the contract they made with Warner Bros. regarding the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin movie based on the Jinchu Arc. It sounds like some warped sense of honor needed to be preserved over a very serious issue that needs more attention.

Some fans have said, “Thank god Tite Kubo or Yoshihiro Togashi didn’t write anything for Watsuki.” The thing is they can’t assume those creators are righteous just because they didn’t say anything. Fans seem so desperate for heroes because they feel like the whole world is full of awful people. To be fair, the inability of societal institutions to actually help people and encourage that help can give someone a legit reason to be angry.

But treating creators like they’re pure and holy gods that will never do any wrong isn’t the way to channel that frustration. Creators aren’t your friends. They will mess up. Think about it this way - why do you think are there are hierarchal levels of friendship? For starters, you can’t just bombard new potential friends with heavy details about your personal life. Not everyone’s going to get you. There’s probably some people you want in your life that make you forget your vulnerabilities for a bit, so you want different types of friends for your varied needs. Creators usually feel more connected among other creators due to shared experiences. The creator/fan relationship is parasocial at best.

I read this blog post from Steven Savage, author of Fan to Pro and many other notable books about fandom, about the desire for heroes in our world and he said it best.

“We hate real heroes, so we often seek false heroes. We find some person who has the right pose, the right words, and follow them instead. We worship the fakers, the actors, the deceivers, and the grifters.

Fake heroes are clean. They present the way we want, act the way we want, say the things we want. There’s no moral ambiguity – unless you look at their actions.

Fake heroes often have money and fame, and the right looks. They have all the worldly things we want, and we decide that’s heroism. The image is there – as long as you don’t ask how they got there.

Fake heroes don’t have any apparent ambiguity because they lie about it or cover it up. Fake heroes are an act, and we don’t have to deal with moral complications because we buy into it. Fake heroes are so much easier.

Fake heroes fit all we expect. They’re the right age, right sexual preference, right skin tone, etc. Fake heroes are a confidence game that looks just enough like us that we’re confident in believing in them.

We so prefer fake heroes in America. They’re so much easier, and the internet and media will help us find them or turn them out for us.”

I know it sounds like I’m suggesting that mangaka are “fake heroes.” In some ways, they are. We, the people, are the ones who place them as heroic by nature. It’s not entirely our fault as most media and word-of-mouth marketing sing their praises. I’m not saying that we should stop having role models, but I wish people were more reflective about who they should really revere.

I sometimes feel like fans love parasocial relationships a bit too much. I wonder now if it’s because they have no cognitive framework of what proper boundaries are. This can be a huge issue at times especially when you feel lonely and socially isolated. When I think about how people fall into extremism and/or start to do things that hurt other people, I think about that lack of emphasis on enforcing boundaries in a healthy way.

I do think some of the mangaka did feel uncomfortable in writing to support Watsuki. They probably had no choice since ethics and capitalism (especially geek capitalism) never mix well. People who think they’re always “right” don’t really preach ethics unless it directly benefits their reputation.

I already voiced my thoughts about Watsuki before in this 2017 post. I’ll say this as final words - so many things (the brands you like, the famous people you like, the nerd media you like, etc.) will have always some kind of dirty psychological stain on it. Over the past few years, some powerful folks who explicitly say they’re inclusive and diverse turn out to be the ones who aren’t. Someone on Twitter recently asked what if every manga creator has some kind of belief system that doesn’t fall in our line with our beliefs. Do we start to justify pirating their work just to prove our moral superiority?

I’m not sure how to feel about that because you can’t remove every little thing in your life that you don’t agree with. It’s impossible. It’s also a terrible way to live because we need some level of disagreement in order to become better people. We will all mess up and say/do the wrong thing over and over again. I know some “experts” say to cut out toxic people in your life, but if they’re not being abusive/troll-ish and genuinely wish to see you well, then I think you need to stand by them because those folks are the heroes we truly need, not an influential figure who uses their clout to only benefit themselves.
