Optimizing Your Shopify Store: Top Design Strategies
When it comes to an eCommerce website, retaining and engaging your users is key. To accomplish this, there are several must-have features to include on your website. If your site offers the best shopping experience for your users, you will be able to increase your company revenue. In this article, we will review some of the top features to include in your online store. For many websites, success is determined by the products offered. However, having a clear user journey and a great shopping experience will also ensure that your eCommerce website is successful.
The Most Important eCommerce Features Your Website Should Have:
Search Functionality
Promotion and Discount Code Tools
Carousel Slides
MegaMenu
Newsletter Sign-Up
Related Items
Wish Lists
Reviews
Search Functionality
When users visit your online store, whether they are new or existing customers, they usually have an idea of what they are looking for. Not everyone likes to navigate through a list of links to find products. Having the ability to search for a keyword and find the desired product immediately will save time and retain user engagement. The search functionality on your website will scan through vast volumes of products in real-time, pulling relevant data as soon as the user starts typing. This feature allows users to view all products, prompting them to explore more and make additional purchases.
Promotion and Discount Code Tools
In eCommerce, customers often input coupon codes during checkout to receive discounts. By providing discounts, you can add value that encourages hesitant customers to convert. While this may decrease your profit margin initially, consider these discounts as an investment in the customer's future value to your business. Minor losses may lead to major profits in the future.
Carousel Slides
Although not a mandatory feature, carousel slides are proven to catch users' attention. They are a perfect way to showcase top-selling products or promotional offers that captivate your visitors. Visually appealing and informative, carousels present information as soon as visitors land on your homepage.
MegaMenu
A well-organized mega menu with neatly listed products in categories and subcategories is extremely useful for users. The main objective is to have everything listed within the selected category at first glance. This allows users to find products more efficiently and quickly, while also enabling the company to present more products without taking up too much space on the homepage or elsewhere.
Newsletter Sign-Up
Offering a newsletter sign-up option is an excellent way to keep your customers informed about new products, promotions, and company news. It helps in building a loyal customer base and encourages repeat visits to your website.

Hello followers, my Shopify and Etsy shops are finally open once more, and you'll find new items:
Blood & Holy Water leftovers: Pins, stickers, and patches from the campaign are now available.
Pinconvention leftovers including some sold out pins - many of these are very low in stock so grab them fast!
New stickers: You'll find an Angelic Curiosities sticker sheet, as well as Match Made in Heaven and Sparkledog Seraph glitter stickers.
The Themed Monster Enamel Pins campaign is launching soon on March 18. You can pledge to help unlock monster pins themed after different aesthetics. Be sure to check out my partner campaign Cryptid Crushes as well as the rest of the campaigns in the Oddities & Obscura collection. Our campaigns will be ending on April 3.
I decided to move my Baldur's Gate 3 pin designs to their own campaign, you can expect the launch in June and follow the pre-launch page to be notified when the campaign is live. Dual Destinies will be part of Pin Quest, which will feature pin campaigns themed after fantasy and mythology.
After Dual Destinies I don't yet have any other pin series planned! If you have an idea for my next pin series or other merch, you can send them via this Google Form. If I plan any more pin campaigns I'd like them to be for themes or ideas you all are interested in.
Gumroad Update
I uploaded line art from last year's Angeltober, Blood & Holy Water, and Themed Monster Enamel Pins to Gumroad. This art is free for personal, non-commercial use, you can read more about my usage policy in my About Page/FAQ.
About UltraInfiniteShop
For any new followers, here's a recap with various links for you:
You can find my merch on Shopify and Etsy, as well as with various independent retailers: my stockists. Some of my stockists have cheaper international shipping depending on where you are located. They also have older or sold out items that might be missing from my main shops.
If you are an independent retailer and want to purchase my items wholesale, you can do so on Faire.
You can find my designs print-on-demand on Redbubble, and digital products on Gumroad. My art is free to use for personal, non-commercial use (for more details on usage, see my About Page/FAQ).
I collect pins as well as make them. I sell pins from my personal collection on Mercari. I have an ISO (in search of) list on Tumblr, I'm always open to sale or trade offers for these pins.
If you prefer to get news about my shop away from social media, you can subscribe to my newsletter. I try to limit my newsletter and shop updates to once a month at most.
You can follow me on social media on Instagram, Tumblr, Bluesky, TikTok, and Twitter.
If you have any questions, check out my About Page/FAQ.
You can find all these links in my Linktree.
That's all for this update, have a majestic March!

Remember when I did the survey about making keychains?
Well, it is time!
I am using Etsy right now, but there were already some issues, and if there are anymore I miiight switch to Shopify... We'll see. For now, please purchase under this link!
Q&A:
"Did you design these?"
Yep! Every single keychain was designed and drawn by me. Manufacturing was done by Vograce, a reputable company that works with Artist Alley artists.
"Why is shipping so much?"
Sadly, I can't do much about that. I ship from Austria, and tried my best to keep international shipping as low as possible while still using bubble wrap etc., but this was my limit. If I find a better way to ship than Austrian Post that might change.
"The bundles on offer are weird..."
They're like this due to the limited stock I have for this run. Sig was disproportionately popular in the survey I took, so I expect he'll sell out before the A-girls. Hence why he's only in the full set bundle or as a solo.
"Are there only these 4 designs?"
For now, yes. This is a bit of a test run, so I only made the four most requested designs and only manufactured 15 of each. Depending on how quickly this run sells out, I may make more and do more designs. It's all up to how this run goes!
"I want X character!"
Which new characters I make will depend on the survey I took waaay back when I first announced these plans. If there is demand, I might retake the survey. Currently, it looks like the next characters in line would be Schezo, Lemres, Draco and Ecolo.
"How big are they?"
63.5 millimeters long and 5 millimeters thick. One side is epoxy, which makes it more resistant to scratches, and thus perfect for everyday keychain use, and not just as a display item!
"What does the backside look like?"
Same as the front side, but mirrored. Though, for Ringo and Sig I also made sure that their asymmetrical features are on the right side on both sides. :-)
"Do you do art commissions?"
Currently only on case by case basis. You can always try and send me an ask, just to be sure.

Shopify Pre-Launch Page: Create Excitement and Capture Leads Before Launch

Launching a new Shopify store is an exciting journey, but before you go live, it’s essential to build anticipation and generate leads. A Shopify pre-launch page acts as a teaser, informing potential customers about your upcoming store while allowing you to collect valuable email addresses and build an audience in advance.
By using a app like Shopify coming soon page, you can engage visitors, provide updates, and drive early sign-ups. This ensures you have an eager customer base ready to shop the moment your store launches.
Benefits of a Shopify Pre-Launch Page

A well-crafted Shopify pre-launch landing page helps you:
Create excitement and anticipation before your store officially opens.
Collect leads by capturing emails for future marketing campaigns.
Test your branding and messaging to see what resonates with your audience.
Boost early sales by offering exclusive pre-launch discounts or promotions.
Enhance credibility by showing potential customers that something great is on the way.
Setting up a pre-launch page Shopify store owners can easily create ensures that visitors don’t leave empty-handed—they sign up for updates, follow your brand, and anticipate your store’s launch.
How to Create an Effective Shopify Pre-Launch Page

1. Choose the Right Shopify App
Creating a Shopify pre-launch page is simple with the right tools. Shopify apps like Launch X - Under Construction offer pre-built Shopify Under Construction page templates that require minimal setup.
Popular features to look for in an app:
Countdown timers to show the launch date.
Email collection forms to build your mailing list.
Social media integration to increase brand awareness.
Password protection to control who can access your store.
Checkout how Launch X-Under Constuction App help your Shopify Store for your Pre-Launch.

2. Craft an Engaging Headline
Your headline should be clear, exciting, and informative. Some great examples include:
“Something Exciting is Coming Soon – Stay Tuned!”
“Launching Soon! Get Exclusive Access Before Anyone Else”
“Be the First to Shop! Sign Up for VIP Access”
3. Add a Countdown Timer
A coming soon page Shopify users create should include a countdown timer to build urgency. When visitors see a ticking clock, they’re more likely to sign up or check back closer to the launch date.
4. Collect Emails and Leads

Email marketing is one of the most effective ways to retain interested customers. Add a simple sign-up form to your pre-launch page, allowing visitors to enter their email addresses in exchange for:
Early access to products
Exclusive discounts
VIP launch announcements
5. Include Social Media Links
Encourage visitors to follow your brand on social media by adding social sharing buttons. This increases visibility and ensures you stay connected with potential customers even after they leave your website.
6. Offer Incentives to Drive Sign-Ups
People love free stuff! Incentives like:
A discount code for early subscribers
A chance to win a giveaway
Exclusive launch-day access to limited products
These strategies increase engagement and ensure customers return once your store is live.
Examples of Shopify Pre-Launch Pages

1. Minimalist Design with Countdown Timer
A clean and simple page featuring a countdown timer, a short brand message, and an email sign-up form.
2. Bold & Engaging Visuals
A high-quality background image with an overlay text that creates excitement and curiosity.
3. Password-Protected Store Access
A Shopify Under Construction page with password protection, allowing only select users to access the site before launch.
Checkout this Coming Soon Page example to Inspire your new Launch
Final Thoughts
A Shopify pre-launch page is a powerful tool for building hype, collecting leads, and ensuring a successful store launch. By setting up a compelling pre-launch page Shopify store owners can maximize their marketing potential before opening day. Whether using a countdown timer, email collection form, or social media integrations, your pre-launch page can significantly impact your store’s early success.
Don’t miss the opportunity to engage potential customers before your official launch. Set up your Shopify coming soon page today and start growing your brand even before your first sale!

Boost your landing page's effectiveness with CRO principles and maximize conversions.
Source: https://cro.media/insights/ux-ui/crafting-high-performing-landing-pages-cro-principles/
Passive income represents the epitome of working smarter, not harder, with its potential to supplement earnings and build long-term wealth. At cro.media, we believe that passive income ventures, much like Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), are about maximizing value from every effort. Here's how CRO principles can amplify passive income strategies.
Transforming Traffic Into Conversions
For many passive income ideas, from dropshipping to affiliate marketing, the key to success lies in effective CRO:
Optimized User Flows: Ensure a seamless journey from discovery to purchase with intuitive navigation and clear calls-to-action (CTAs).
A/B Testing: Experiment with landing pages, product descriptions, and CTAs to identify what drives the most conversions.
Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to understand user behavior and refine strategies to align with audience preferences.
By fine-tuning the user experience, CRO transforms passive income ventures into scalable revenue streams.
Passive Income Meets Automation
Automation is central to both CRO and passive income:
Streamlining Workflows: Use tools to automate repetitive tasks, such as email marketing for digital product sales or ad retargeting for affiliate links. Learn more about Shopify app development.
Predictive Analytics: CRO tools can forecast which strategies will yield the best ROI, allowing you to focus on the most lucrative income streams.
Cross-Selling Opportunities: For dropshipping or print-on-demand stores, automated product recommendations can increase average order value.
Automation minimizes manual intervention, keeping passive income truly passive.
Enhancing Credibility and Trust
Trust is a critical CRO factor, especially for passive income models reliant on online sales or investments:
Social Proof: Showcase customer reviews or user-generated content to validate your offerings.
Secure Transactions: Highlight security features, such as encrypted payment systems, to reassure customers.
Professional Design: A visually appealing, functional website fosters credibility and encourages conversions.
"Strong CRO foundations ensure trust remains high, driving repeat engagement and income growth."
Strong CRO foundations ensure trust remains high, driving repeat engagement and income growth. See our Shopify agency services.
Diversification Through Strategic Insights
Just as CRO encourages testing and adaptation, passive income requires diversification:
Experimentation: Test multiple streams, such as affiliate marketing, digital product sales, or REIT investments, to identify the most profitable avenues.
Audience Segmentation: Use CRO principles to segment audiences and tailor offerings, ensuring relevance and resonance with target groups.
Sustainable Scaling: Focus on scalable models like print-on-demand or stock photography, which grow without proportional increases in effort.
Diversified strategies supported by CRO insights reduce risk and maximize passive income potential.
Maximizing Long-Term Gains
CRO's iterative nature aligns perfectly with building sustainable passive income:
Continuous Improvement: Regularly refine strategies based on performance data, from content adjustments to pricing experiments.
Retention Optimization: Implement loyalty programs or subscription models to maintain consistent revenue streams.
Scalability Focus: Invest in scalable tools and platforms that grow alongside your passive income ventures.

Step-by-Step Guide to Selling Digital Products with Ease
The digital economy is booming, and selling digital products—like eBooks, courses, templates, or printables—has never been more accessible. With low startup costs and limitless scalability, it’s an ideal venture for creators and entrepreneurs. Here’s how to start your journey effortlessly:
1. Identify Your Niche & Audience
Begin by pinpointing a niche you’re passionate about and that has demand. Research communities on social media, forums, or platforms like Reddit to understand pain points. For example, if you’re skilled at graphic design, consider offering Canva templates for small businesses. Narrowing your focus helps you stand out.
2. Validate Your Idea
Before investing time, validate demand. Use surveys, polls, or pre-sale offers to gauge interest. Share a concept on Instagram or LinkedIn and ask followers if they’d buy it. Tools like Google Forms or Gumroad’s pre-order feature can simplify this step.
3. Create Your Product
Focus on quality and usability. Use tools like Canva for design, Teachable for courses, or Adobe Audition for audio guides. Keep it simple—start with one product (e.g., a PDF workbook) before expanding. Ensure it’s professionally presented and solves a specific problem.
4. Choose a User-Friendly Platform
Select a platform that handles hosting and sales. Options like Gumroad, Ko-fi, or Etsy are beginner-friendly. For more control, use Shopify or WordPress with WooCommerce. Prioritize platforms with built-in marketing tools and analytics.
5. Set Up Payments & Pricing
Integrate secure payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal. Price your product strategically: research competitors, consider value-based pricing (e.g., $29 for a time-saving template bundle), or offer tiered options (basic vs. premium).
6. Launch & Market Smartly
Build anticipation before launching. Share snippets on social media, collaborate with micro-influencers, or offer limited-time discounts. Use email lists (start with free lead magnets) and SEO-friendly product descriptions to drive organic traffic.
7. Prioritize Customer Support
Automate delivery using platforms like SendOwl to avoid manual work. Create a FAQ section and respond promptly to queries. Positive reviews boost credibility, so encourage feedback with follow-up emails.
8. Analyze & Scale
Track sales and customer behavior with analytics tools. Identify top-performing marketing channels and double down. Expand your offerings based on demand—turn a popular eBook into a video course, or bundle products for upsells.
Final Thoughts
Selling digital products is a rewarding way to monetize your skills. By starting small, validating ideas, and leveraging the right tools, you can build a sustainable online business with minimal friction. Ready to launch? Your audience is waiting!
Take the first step today—create, share, and grow. The digital world is yours to conquer.

Shop Update October 2024

Hey there followers, it's time for the October shop update. Here's everything new on Shopify and Etsy:
The Red and White Horsemen pins from my Four Cowboy Horsemen of the Apocalypse set. This set was planned to be a collab but has been canceled for now. I hope you all enjoy these two designs I made for it!
Keychains of my alternate Asexual Angel design, and Axolotl Dragon Angel.
Angel Love greeting cards, available in rainbow and pink colors.
Stickers of the alternate Asexual Angel, Axolotl Dragon Angel, and Angel and Cat design.
And I have a new listing to purchase as-is display pins. These are pins that I displayed at conventions or markets, they might have minor scuffs or smudges.
I anticipate a lot of new items in the next update, so I will be removing a few low stock and slow selling items by the end of this month. These items are in the Last Chance collection on Shopify; and will be on sale starting October 1 on Shopify for 20% off (discount applied at checkout) and on Etsy for 10% off.
October means it's time for Angeltober 2024, my annual art challenge featuring angelic prompts. This year I plan to draw both angel and vampire designs, since I've been wanting to do a little Vamptober too.
My Angeltober pin designs will be featured in Blood and Holy Water: Vampire and Angel Enamel Pins. I will be collaborating with MaybelsArt who is running Sanguine Eminence to offer a pair of exclusive enamel pins to those who pledge to both campaigns, as well as with a host of other artists to offer a group pin set. You can follow the other campaigns on Backerkit as well. I hope you'll consider pledging!
That's all for this update, have an outstanding October.

If you’re ready to start your dream business online, this guide will walk you through the essential 10 steps to launch successfully.
Step 1: Define Your Business Idea
Start by clearly defining your business concept. Identify your target audience, the products or services you will offer, and what makes your brand unique. Your unique value proposition (UVP) should set your business apart and address a specific customer need or pain point.
Step 2: Conduct Market Research
Research your industry, competitors, and customer preferences. Understanding market demand will help you tailor your offerings. Analyze competitors’ strengths and weaknesses to identify gaps in the market that your business can fill. Engage with similar businesses to gain insights and advice.
Step 3: Create a Business Plan
A well-structured business plan outlines your goals, marketing strategies, financial projections, and operational structure. This roadmap guides you through launching and scaling your business. If you seek funding, investors will require a solid business plan detailing startup costs, revenue forecasts, and growth strategies.
Step 4: Choose a Memorable Domain Name
Your domain name should align with your brand, be easy to remember, and represent your business niche. Ensure it is available and register it with a trusted domain provider. A strong domain reinforces brand identity and improves searchability.
Step 5: Build a Professional Website
A user-friendly, visually appealing website is essential for credibility. Platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Squarespace offer easy-to-use website builders. If budget allows, consider hiring a web designer to create a custom site that reflects your brand’s professionalism.
Step 6: Develop a Strong Online Presence
Implement SEO strategies, content marketing, and social media engagement to grow your visibility. Utilize platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook to connect with potential customers. Create valuable content to attract and retain visitors.
Step 7: Set Up E-Commerce Capabilities
If selling products or services, integrate a secure e-commerce platform. Ensure a smooth checkout experience, reliable payment gateways, and efficient order processing. Platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce offer robust e-commerce features.
Step 8: Establish a Brand Identity
Your brand identity includes a logo, color scheme, and consistent design elements across all platforms. A cohesive brand image builds trust and recognition. Apply branding across your website, marketing materials, and social media.
Step 9: Build a Customer Base
Engage with potential customers through email marketing, loyalty programs, and referral incentives. Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships. Word-of-mouth marketing can be a powerful tool in expanding your audience.
Step 10: Monitor, Evaluate, and Adapt
Use analytics tools to track performance. Regularly review customer feedback, sales trends, and engagement metrics to make data-driven improvements. Adapt your strategies to enhance customer experience and business growth.
By following these steps, you can successfully launch and grow a thriving online business that stands out in the digital marketplace.

Shop is now back open!! There's a lott of new stuff, so I won't be showing every single thing and group them in categories instead

Let's Distort pinback buttons and stickers are collab merch with AzeruArts :3
1. New Standalone Shop
The new site (hopefully more permanent) for my shop is chikos-workshop.com! I've changed the shop hosting site to shopify for a few reasons, if you still have the .bigcartel link bookmarked please use this instead 🥹
Pro: You can Finally browse by both merch type and fandom now! Honestly this is mostly for me, but I love the ability to filter both ways.
I'm also playing with ways to update people on upcoming stuff! Currently using the listing feature, but looking forward to using either blog or email to send out shop updates!
Con: There isn't a goood way for Shopify to automatically apply the normal returning customer coupon, so you will have to type it out. I'll be working to at least make it easier for ppl shopping on Shopify to get the same discounts, but it'll not come out for a while. Also, for customers coming from Etsy, you can use the same code to get 10% off even if you haven't ordered from the standalone shop. Unsure if Etsy actually shows the name of the code though, to be looked into,,,
The shipping price issue that was from BC also carried on, which will hopefully be fixed once I can gather all my listings and do Things to it.
