HI I SAW UR DT17 RANT AND I AGREE SO HARD. i love gandra but i HATE fendra and the writers just genuinely did her so dirty (and im gonna say it. she was way more interesting as an antagonist). and re: gladstone and fethry, FUCKING YEAH. it makes me so fucking sad how fehtyr is treated in dt17 and the fact that its never properly acknowledged just makes it even worse :( THEY LEFT HIM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN FOR 4 YEARS???? ALONE??????? AND THEN GOT ANNOYED WHEN HE ASKED FOR THEIR COMPANY?!?!?! BE FR MAN!!!!! and while i'm on this topic, what ESPECIALLY stings is how donald dislikes both fethry and gladstone in '17. one of my fave things about the comics is the friendship between donald, fethry and gladstone. like sure, donald and gladstone have like a rivalry going on but they're still buddies at the end of the day!!! theyre FAMILY!!! and fethry is just straight up always pals with donald and gladstone. and yeah i feel like the absence of their friendship in '17 is such a missed opportunity espcially since we also have della in the show!!!! the cousin trio couldve upgraded to the cousin quartet but nooooo!!! anyway yeah the show's cast is too big. for a long-running comic series a cast of this size is fine because you can give each character a decent amount of spotlight, but for 3 seasons of an animated show it's less ideal

with fendra, u always know it's gonna become canon cuz it's a het ship that was introduced in one of the character's debut episode but the lack of build up is actually so lame. i like gandra and i like fenton but like their canon relationship just happens. and it's like oh i guess this is a thing now?

and we're expected to be a ll invested cuz gandra getting captured by FOWL and her working against them is supposed to be a plot point and cool i get what ur doing but also what? where is the build up?

and i liked her as a villain and she was actually an antagonist which is what makes her sudden flip so weird for me. we're welcoming her to be a part of our family!! um yea ok but she did help the guy that wants to end said family. she needs more screentime simple as.

sidenote: i also wish they focused on her hypocrisy more. 'i follow nobody' and she has worked for both mark beaks and FOWL. i get why and she has her reasons with needing the resources and stuff but that kind of hypocritical behavior in 'cool' ppl is smth i see a lot in ppl and i wish it was explored more. that's an interesting duality to her character.

and omg on gladstone and fethry. HOLY SHIT THEY DID THEM DIRTY. THEY ARE BARELY IN THE SHOW AND IT MAKES ME SAD.

yea i haven't seen the og show but have read the comics and i love them. they're really funny and don's dynamic with his cousins is great!! i hate the simplistic, actual hatred they gave donald towards gladstone and gladstone's characterisation makes a lot of ppl hate him - and i get why but i don't. and i hate that cuz he's a really fun, oringinal idea with the luck motif and they don't do anything substantial with him!!

and do not get me started on fethry. i love dt17 donald but when ppl call him the unproblematic one, i point to his treatment of fethry. dt17 fethry did NOTHING wrong and they LEFT HIM THE OCEAN I HATE THAT SO MUCH. AND THE ONES THAT LEARN THE LESSON ON ACCEPTANCE ARE THE CHILDREN NOT THE GUY HE GREW UP WITH AND THE OLD FUCK THAT SHOULD'VE KNOW BETTER

those two barely feel like family to the main characters and their inclusion in the picture in moonvasion is cute i wont lie. but i wih i'd seen more of it. like scrooge straight up HATES gladstone and fethry, why are those two included in his group of kids? i like that they are and i want them there but there is no build up.

they're supposed to be the huey and louie of the cousins but donald hates them? they're not a reference to the triplets like they were intending, and the intention makes sense and i like the idea, they're JUST there. honestly gladstone and fethry can be seen as louie and huey if they didn't have a good relationship with their family. i think that's interesting too.

and i just wanna say i get why ppl dislike dt17 gladstone but i like him because 1) i think he's wasted potentional in the show 2) i like gladstone in general in the duckverse. his whole luck concept is fun and he's like a preppy kuzco. and 3) he has the mr peanut butter voice and that's realy funny to me

and finally, yea the cast size is insanely big and it feels like there's a new character every episode and like ik why. we wanna see new interprtations but like, they did not have enough time to give all of the characters enough screentime.

Hmmm, I’ll go Fendra on this.

For at least a few weeks after the events of the finale, Gandra lived with Fenton and his mom, sort of for protection/emotional support reasons. Once a week, Fenton and Gandra cook dinner to give M’ma a break (and I’d like to think they’re both more than competent in the kitchen).

I don’t necessarily hate him (and definitely not as a character), I just think he kinda sucks as a person: Mark Beaks.

1. He’s a good parody of IRL billionaires (especially the likes of Elon Musk).

2. He’s a massive OTT ham.

     Crystal blue hues light up with a fond warmth when she hears Mark comment about the two of them. It's nice, one of the more peaceful moments where they're not yelling at employees or driving each other nuts. That past time had dwindled down some since they had started dating, thankfully. Eye lashes flutter close, the corner of her beak curling into a small smile as she gently hooks her arm underneath his. Being curling up close beside him.

(8) How did you come up with the title to 'Circumstances and Control'?

I got it from the lyrics to 'Mr. Roboto' by Styx: I'm just a man whose circumstances went beyond my control, which perfectly describes Gyro's predicament in the story (tho the song itself reminds me of Fenton/Gizmoduck).

(10) What's your favorite piece of fanart for Fenton or Boyd?

HARD CHOICE. I think that would be this piece by @darkwingownsthenight, because it was one of the first pieces of art of Boyd and Team Science I discovered shortly after 'Astro B.O.Y.D.' came out way back in 2020, so it's particularly special to me. It represented what I hoped to see more of from Team Science as a family (le sigh...).

Well, I don't officially have any aus of my own, but I had an idea for one for Team Science based on the DnD: Honor Among Thieves movie. With Gyro as Edgin, Boyd as Kira, Della as Holga, Fenton as Simon, Gandra as Doric, Mark Beaks as Norge, Magica as Sofina, and Djinn as Xenk!

Ok, so I've been off Tumblr for a little while, and I've decided to completely rework my au.

So here are my new ships and ocs.

Huey and Violet are married and have one son, Adonis “Don” Sabrewing-Duck.

Dewey and Gosalyn are married and have two boys: Dewford Duck II and Russel "Turbo" Duck.

Louie is single and has no children but is the cool uncle to the kids.

Webby now goes by Webbigail April McDuck-Vanderquack to pay respect to both her parents' names. Webby is married to Lena and they have three children: one non-binary child, Doofus Jr. "DJ" Mcduck-Vanderquack, Webby's kid with her ex Doofus Drake; one adopted daughter, Arianna McDuck-Vanderquack, and Webby and Lena’s daughter (through surrogates), Rebecca "Rebel" McDuck-Vanderquack.

Boyd is single and has a Robot daughter he made, Alita Gearloose-Drake

June has one son, Casey Mark Duck, and travels around the world with her sister as a spy.

Fenton and Gandra Dee are married and have one boy, Herb Crackshell-Cabrera.

Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby now live in the manor with their families and Scrooge Mcduck. May and June live in the manor too, but they never stay there for long, as they are spies who travel the world. Donald and Daisy are still on the house boat, and Della lives on the Moon with Penny.

And since your birthday is close to Jordan's birthday, May 23rd, I thought I would create a story in your guys honor! The three of us ship Fendra and there's not much of that in the fandom so I thought I would make a fanfic about them! I'll try to update a chapter everyday until the 23rd. So about the story, it's mostly about what could've happened off screen during the show. Like Fenton and Gandra reuniting after their first date to when she gets kidnapped and even after The Last Adventure. Hope you guys enjoy it! Here we go!

Chapter One

The night was cloudy and the sound of rain drops slamming against the glass windows could be heard. A certain scientist was walking along the sidewalk with a pitch black hood over her head, making sure no one saw her tear stained face. A flash of lightning illuminated the sky with a bright purple making the women flinch. Usually electricity wasn't an issue for her, in fact she loved thunderstorms, but tonight was different. Tonight her body felt like it was burning from the inside out.

"Come on Gandra, the lab isn't that far aw-" the woman felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body. She was able to hold in her screams but she grunted in pain. She lost all feeling in her legs allowing her to fall to her knees.

"Ma'am! Are you ok?" She heard a man call out to her. Seconds later she felt someone place their hand over her shoulder, her first reaction was to pull away as fast as she could.

"Don't touch me!" Gandra grunted in pain. The man didn't listen and placed his hand over her shoulder once again.

"Ma'am? Do you need help-" the man felt a giant electric shock go through him. He instantly let her go and fell to the wet ground. Gandra was breathing heavily, trying to look over at the frightened man she just accidentally electrocuted.

"S-sorry….." Gandra said through her pain. Another electric shock raced across her body, this time much stronger than the last. She let out a yelp of pain before getting on her feet and running off.

Her mind was racing, she knew what she had to do and where to go, but the question was will she make it on time? Not even a minute later, another jolt of electricity shot through her. This one was strong enough to make half her body go numb, causing her to fall flat on pavement. She laid there on her belly, her face buried in her arms as she let out a few sobs. She turned her head slightly to her left, her electric blue eyes catching sight of a dark alley. At that moment she knew what she had to do.

It was 12am and a majority of Duckburg was asleep by now. In his room, Fenton was asleep on his desk. His head flat on his keyboard and the light of his computer illuminating the room. The calendar on his wall had x marks of the days that passed. One crossed out box in his calendar read Night With Miss Dee. 14 boxes were crossed out after it meaning two weeks had passed since that night. Fenton mumbled under his breath when he felt his phone start to vibrate.

"Mamá, ahorita me levanto. Just 10 more minutes," Fenton squirmed in his seat. He eventually lost balance and fell off his chair. The hard impact was enough to wake him up in less than a second. He shot back up and soon realized it was his phone vibrating. He clumsily picked it up, almost dropping it. Once he got a good grip he pushed the answer button, held it up to his ear and tiredly said, "Hello?"

"Sorry to wake you up Suit," he recognized her voice right away. His eye's shot open in surprise, he was sure after how that night ended he would never hear her voice again. But again, they didn't end on a bad term right?

"No worries. What's happening Gandra? You ok?" Fenton noticed the pain in her voice.

"No, I'm far from-" she was interrupted by a loud zapping noise, causing her to let out a small scream of pain. This was enough to make Fentons heart sink down to his stomach.

"Gandra what's happening?" Fenton repeated. He rushed to his closest and took out a warm coat and an umbrella. He froze for a moment before asking, "Do you need GizmoDuck?"

"No, not GizmoDuck," Gandra let out another grunt of pain, "I need you Fenton. I need-"

She didn't even finish her sentence before letting out a scream of pain.

"Where are you?" Fenton was already in his rain clothes and out the front door. He hopped onto his bike and was ready to rush to her aid.

"Near the park in the alley way of the two apartments." Gandra was barely able to get out. Her voice sounded so weak, like she was tired of screaming.

"I'm on my way, just stay on the phone with me ok?" Fenton rushed away on his bike.

"I'll-" the phone call was cut short when he heard a loud zap before a long beep, indicating the call had ended. Fenton silently mumbled something to himself as he picked up the speed. He made it to the park in record time and looked around for any apartments. Fortunately he spotted a flash of blue and white between two buildings. Fenton hurried his way over, knowing that must be where she is.

Her eyes were heavy, she could barely keep them open. She kept her eye's focused on her ungloved hands where the damaged nanites were. The sparks were flying from how broken they were. She eventually shut her eye's, tired of fighting to keep them open.

"Gandra?" She heard a familiar voice call to her.

It was faded, like if she had ear muffs on. She heard the man repeat her name over and over but each time she didn't have the strength to respond. She felt his warm hands grab her shoulders but soon enough another electric shock came. She let out a tired scream and saw a blue flash before her eye's. She didn't know how much longer she could handle this, she was sure her blood was boiling at this point. She was able to hear a short scream but mostly out of shock. She didn't need to open her eye's to know he was staring at her in horror.

"Gandra what do you need?" She could barely hear Fenton ask.

"Need?" Her voice was low and raspy, "My nanites….. their damaged….. I…. "

She felt another shock go across her body. This one lasted much longer than the others. It was enough to make her whole body go numb, letting her fall to the ground. She was barely awake, she could barely feel Fenton wrap his arms around her. She felt herself get lifted up from the ground and someone holding onto her tight.

"..... I got you……. lab, I need….. lab." Fentons voice was barely audible. She could only hear parts of what he was saying but at least it was comforting knowing he was there. She put all her focus on opening her eye's, at least just a crack. Her vision was too blurry to identify where they were. All she saw were the street lights passing and even those were blurry. Eventually, her eyelids felt too heavy. She couldn't keep them open any longer, she was too numb to even scream in pain when another shock tracked through her body. Eventually, the last thing she saw was a flash of blue before going dark.

Short but more is to come, I promise. You guys can title this story because I have no idea what to title it. 😅 Hope you two enjoy! I love you Katie, I love you Jordan! ❤

I just want to cover a few things I’ve changed in my rules! 

I want to start off that this blog is no longer practicing exclusives with anybody, whether it be a relationship or otherwise. I will practice mains. That said, each verse will serve as a verse exclusive. So if I have an au that I have a ship in or that has been plotted previously with any others, I will not interact with multiples of that character in that particular verse.

This isn’t really a change, but I feel like I need to put it here as well as it being in my rules: 

      Anything having to do with senility or terminal illnesses, such as cancer, Alzheimer’s or Dementia is a trigger of mine, so if you could be so kind as to tag that, I’d appreciate it! I have a lot of variations blocked, as well as the tag ‘ash don’t look //’ if that’s easier. Thanks!

       Cue a rather bored look from Gandra, blue hues watching the scene with less interest even as Markie began to sass talk. She doesn't seem to react fully, at least until she hears the last thing he says, which, in turn, earns him a yank of his wrist. "Stop bein' such a baby, Beaksy. I didn't ask for this either." 

She's not looking at him, yet there's a very faint hint of warmth tinging her cheeks. Had this been anyone else, she would have complained LOUDER. But, since it was Markie, the one boss she seemed to have grown fond of, Gandra was being oddly quiet. 

                                    At least until an idea clicks in her mind. 

"Yanno, we could make Gyro so uncomfortable, he'll HAVE to uncuff us ! Are you ... thinkin' what I'm thinkin' ? "
