Damn, this mer looks good in Dawnguard armor. (Well, until you put the stupid helmet on him.) That high collar with his little chinstrap beard... edible. Thirst-inducing. lol I'm completely normal about Talvas.

What I love about LOTR is the fact that the men are so gentle with each other. We got tears, hugs, platonic love confessions and just gentleness (like - look at Aragorn???).

The fact also that Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) and Sean Bean (Boromir) were both over 40 during casting and filming just amplifies the rarity of this gentleness in their characters. I am quite sure if LOTR was made today both of them would have been casted by men in their younger 30s just to add an element of wannabe Hollywood good looks. [Just look at what disaster was tried to be made during the Hobbit franscise and the sexy dwarves]

The whole franscise is just so.... healing.
