there’s something about miguel when he’s sleepy. he never relaxes, not truly. he’ll soften, but there’s always a wall. but when he’s sleepy? he’s not awake enough to feel defensive.

so you often wake up to slow kisses on your shoulder, hands on your hips gentle rolling you over onto your back. sunlight comes through the window, sillouetting his bed hair perfectly. you have half the mind to run your fingers through it when he suddenly pulls off the covers. you shiver, goosebumps running across your bare skin as the cold of the room hits you. but miguel’s gentle grip on your hips keeps you from squirming, and the kisses that he presses to your body in a trail downwards chases the biting cold away.

it doesn’t always escalate; sometimes he just feels like worshiping you, making sure you feel loved. but this morning, he woke with an urge, and he’ll do anything to satisfy his craving for you.

he pauses, resting his cheek against your stomach to look up at you, watching how you fluster and bite your lip. he smirks, pressing a kiss to your belly before he shifts down the bed and puts his mouth right where you need him.

What I love about LOTR is the fact that the men are so gentle with each other. We got tears, hugs, platonic love confessions and just gentleness (like - look at Aragorn???).

The fact also that Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) and Sean Bean (Boromir) were both over 40 during casting and filming just amplifies the rarity of this gentleness in their characters. I am quite sure if LOTR was made today both of them would have been casted by men in their younger 30s just to add an element of wannabe Hollywood good looks. [Just look at what disaster was tried to be made during the Hobbit franscise and the sexy dwarves]

The whole franscise is just so.... healing.
