I was lucky enough to be able to visit TWO EC Robo Shops in one day at the Eaton Centres in Montreal. I went ham over the simple concept of having your box delivered in front of your eyes by a robot arm, a little conveyor belt, and a delivery window with a little lightshow.

I went for one Secret Bear Garden and one Ghost Bear House, and I got the Naughty Gardener and the hidden, My Only Friend, which has a little flocked black cat inside of the ghost bear. I want to find a way to light the ghost figure to make the transparent effect more obvious.

a gentle kiss pressed to your temple and a warm blanket draped over your shoulders as you softly snored away at your desk. they chuckle lightly at the dribble of drool peeking from the corner of your mouth, yet their eyes are still tender and filled with love. carefully and quietly, they close your books and journals, returning them to the spots they knew you liked to keep them. they save any files still open and charge your nearly dead laptop, a pleasant surprise in the morning for you when you wake up. finally satisfied that they've completed everything of significance, they wrap the blanket around you and carry you to your bed, tucking you in. they leave, returning with a water bottle to place within your reach, before climbing in bed next to you, lazily placing an arm around your waist.

they notice you dozing off—head snapping to attention before falling to the side again as you nod off—and hide their laugh behind their hand. after looking to both sides of them, they sneak a peck to your cheek before gently guiding your head down, using your textbooks as a makeshift pillow. taking off their jacket, they cover you with it, pulling the hood over your head so that you wouldn’t wake up blinded from the bright fluorescent overhead lights. returning to their seat, they spend the next hour or so (they lost track of time honestly) in the library admiring how cute you looked sleeping in their jacket. (they also pull out their phone to snap a few pictures of you, one of which is most definitely going to be a new wallpaper. you wake up to them asleep, their head resting on their forearm. your turn for pictures? of course, duh.)

too busy relishing in the feeling of your arm tucked around their elbow, they're struggling to focus on the words on the pages of their book or the lyrics in the song playing in their ear. they let out a frustrated sigh as they try to read the same sentence again for the seventeenth time when your favorite song starts playing on the shuffled playlist. they take out an earbud to offer you but realize that you're fast asleep on their shoulder. blinking in surprise, their eyes start to trace the shape of your cheeks and the tip of your nose. warmth rises to the their ears when you nuzzle into them, trying to get comfortable, and they try to move a little as well to accommodate you. completely giving up on reading, they opt to rest their head on yours, breathing in the scent of your shampoo, the small bumps of the bus lulling them to sleep. (you both definitely miss your stop though... but you win some and you lose some...)

their own eyelids were growing heavy, listening to the professor drone on about something related to derivates and second... wait, what was the professor talking about again? not like it mattered, but it was good to pay attention still in case it showed up on the midterm... they sighed and looked over at you. your cheek was squished flat against the palm of your hand as your eyelashes fluttered slightly despite your eyes being closed. you were fast asleep, the professor seeming to have bored you immensely too. it was a good day to sit in the back of the lecture hall as this particular calculus professor was known to humiliate sleepers in her class. a smile creeps onto their face as they watch your peaceful self snoozing away. reopening their laptop, they start to take notes, knowing that if they were to pay attention, the least they could do was help you out.

Biografia:

Embora a família No tivesse um conglomerado famoso que estava presente em boa parte da Ásia, quando o primeiro filho do casal nasceu de forma prematura estavam em Nova Iorque em uma viagem de férias, o pequeno No Shinwoo - ou Andrew, como ficou conhecido - veio ao mundo pequeno e com leves complicações de saúde que fizeram com que precisasse ficar internado por alguns meses. Com isso a rotina da família mudou e enquanto Junho voltou para a Coreia do Sul por conta dos negócios que não poderiam parar, Jiah ficou com o filho e na cidade iluminada se estabeleceu. Inclusive foi o momento em que levaram uma filial da empresa para o país estrangeiro, expandindo os negócios que ficaram sob a responsabilidade dela.

Os pais passaram anos revezando entre morar em Nova Iorque e em Seul, Andrew por sua vez pouco visitou a capital coreana já que estudava na cidade natal mesmo. Até que na adolescência decidiu ir morar e estudar em Seul, foi lá que teve os primeiros contato com a indústria musical e após ver programas na televisão decidiu que queria se tornar um idol. Inicialmente a ideia não foi bem vista pelos genitores, eles esperavam que ele se tornasse um sucessor dos negócios e o plano de idol passava bem longe dessa possibilidade, porém acabaram aceitando após muita insistência.

Após três audições entrou em uma empresa e com alguns anos de treinamento veio o tão esperado debut, o grupo bateu records e conquistou uma popularidade tanto na Coreia quanto internacionalmente. Nos anos seguintes o grupo se manteve em destaque e até tinham muitas atividades solo, inclusive Andrew que chegou a atuar em doramas e estampar capas de revistas. Foi em meio a isso que se aproximou de um membro da equipe e mesmo que inicialmente ele e o staff tivessem trocado muitas farpas, pouco a pouco começaram a se aproximar até iniciar um relacionamento.

Mesmo que estivesse feliz e completo com os rumos da própria vida, tudo pareceu querer desmoronar no momento em que o relacionamento dos dois veio a público e a repercussão negativa que isso causou. Não demorou até a empresa o retirar do grupo, decisão essa que Andrew concordou desde o ínicio já que em hipótese alguma queria prejudicar a fama do grupo e muito menos desistir daquele que amava. Lidar com o hate massivo foi difícil, ainda mais quando em casa recebeu a forte desaprovação do pai, ele que ficou meses sem falar com o filho por conta do preconceito, postura totalmente diferente da mãe que o apoiou.

Andrew precisou de um tempo para conseguir se reerguer e com o aparente fim da carreira idol precisou ficar algum tempo no anonimato, mesmo que não dissesse em voz alta foi díficil viver aquilo tudo. Por esse tempo começou a participar dos negócios da família e não demorou a se interessar pelo ramo empresarial, era como se estivesse na veia as habilidades de negociações e estratégias que foi aprimorando pouco a pouco. Paralelo a isso resolveu dar uma nova chance à vida pública, uma vez que a história do casal cativou o público internacional e fez com que ambos tivessem convites de grandes marcas para serem modelos, assim como entrevistas e participações em programas.

Entretanto a fama já não era mais a prioridade de Andrew que passou a apenas fazer aparições e trabalhos quando isso envolvia o namorado, seu foco foi para os negócios e após uma emocionante reconciliação com o pai, se tornou executivo do grupo No. O recomeço enfim veio quando revelou aos pais o desejo em apostar em um novo ramo, diferente das lojas de artigos de luxo e construtoras que possuíam, queria um bar tão sofisticado quanto os outros negócios da família.

Tudo foi perfeitamente planejado, até que encontraram o lugar perfeito para o início do empreendimento. Foi então que se mudou para o Acropolix Complex e inaugurou o Dionysus Lounge, porém era só o começo, ainda tinha muitos planos futuros para o negócio e para os outros empreendimentos da família. Além da vida ao lado daquele que ama, é claro.
