Himiko literally seeks acceptance through unconventional love.

So I'd think her love language is Physical Touch or Acts of Service.

Along with the others, she'd be more than happy to kill someone for you or more likely impersonate someone for you.

Plus, she'd definitely have to avoid the temptation of using her knives on you.

So, if you told her she could use them, she'd be the happiest girl in the world.

She would be turning into you everyday.

As a means to show her love for you.

She'd want to be you, and feel what your body feels like upon her own accord, like if she was you.

If not, she could find out every little detail about your body by Physical Touch.

She definitely cuddles. (no one can change my mind!)

Jin/Twice ~

Quality Time man.

Even a few weeks into your relationship, he'd be down for you to move into his little apartment, if you wanted to.

This would literally be so big for him, he'd spend every single day next to you, even if you were just cooking or cleaning.

If you were showering, he'd literally comes in and sit on the sink to talk to you.

You would definitely have some deep chats about the state of society, or the people you both retrospectively spend your other time around.

Although this man spends probably all of his time playing League Of Legends with Tomura, he'd definitely put some time aside to get you presents.

Whether it's something expensive that he's stole, or something small that he's recently heard you talk about.

Such as a new plush, or figurine.

He probably thinks it's more romantic to actually buy the gift, instead of stealing it, so trust me when I say this man has multiple piggy banks in his room.

He would try and ask Tomura for help, but we all know this man wouldn't give good advice.

He would buy you both games he'd think you'd like, and would help try to teach you to play.

This man is 6"6, so if your any shorter he would be making fun of you everyday, by ruffling your hair or leaning his arms or head down on your shoulder or head.

Even though he is huge, he'd love to hold hands, if you even can.

He'd LOVE showing off to you, by picking you up or throwing you over his shoulder with ease.

He might have a small feeling that you dislike his muscles or eye, but if you disregard that, he will be all over you again.

Just make sure that you don't get smushed underneath him and his muscles.

Because we all know he would not be careful at all.

He'd be into Physical Touch too, as he would definitely like having his muscles appreciated by your hands.

If you ask him to flex or show his muscles, he will be down within a millisecond and will show you them in every position possible.

It occurs to me that maybe the dragon scales weren't just used for coloration but perhaps to harden the scars to make them harder to reopen. Kinda like a broken bone healing stronger along the fracture line. Hence with less dragons the art of Kintsugi became saved for special occasions among the Sun Warriors rather than every single scar(obviously no one but royals was doing this anyways but it became more of consideration if a scar was worthy of being sealed after) since one of the main purposes can't be fulfilled with a half made mixture that still comes out red and helps with the healing (which also begs the question if the way kintsugi is made was/is used to figure out healing ointments), but doesn't harden the skin in the same way. Or would they still seal the other scars and those ones just look... flatter than the proper ones?

It would also be interesting if different color scales give different sheens to the kintsugi so a blue dragon's scales might still look mainly red due to other ingredients, but there's a blue ting/reflection to the scar. Did sharing a sheen with family or your dragon used to be a sign of pride? Was having a red dragon's sheen seen as basic?

I think Zuko wouldn't ask for it, but I can see the Sun Warriors deciding to give him a small amount of the full powder, and instructions for how to mix it. Zuko debating if he should refuse it, given his ancestors, but Aang is the one to convince him to keep it. Even though the only body modification air nomads practiced were the tattoos, he still sees the beauty and significance of such a gift (later Zuko is thankful he convinced him).

Mixing Kintsugi with the assassination post you re blogged, it'd be funny if the reason Zuko ends up with bronze is due to an attempt while he's traveling for negotiations and the healer is grumbling about stupid teenagers always refusing to stay away from fights (a healee who has had to deal with gaang or Kyoshi warriors in the past... or even jet lol) and seals his wounds, without even thinking about the fact he's FN and not one of his Kyoshi guards, given the size of it and how well he fought. The warriors on duty think it's hilarious and no one ever mentions it to the healer in question. Suki immediately rats him out at the next gaang meet up.

While I do think that Toph probably wouldn't end up with any, at least not pre series (although the idea of her goading Katara into healing a future scar with silver in the future is funny especially since she can't tell the difference by color(but maybe by texture/weight???) does rotate in my head), I do think that Suki probably has one or two wounds sealed in bronze before the show. Sokka is both jealous (since I believed you mentioned his fishhooks didn't seal properly) and enthralled by her scars given they're probably the first ones he sees not sealed in the water tribe fashion (at least on a ally). Suki in the FN would kind of be a reflection of Zuko's path in this au given I'm sure she ends up with the opportunity to have a wound sealed in gold given how often she has to defend Zuko's life. I assume at that point the healers have different kinds in the med wing so she could choose bronze or none at all, but she's given the choice given her job is seen as sacred to the FN.

Azula definitely has all scars up til her breakdown sealed that way, but it'd be fascinating to know if she got injured and refused it during the Agni Kai. Would she refuse the dragon ruby at that time? Would Zuko offer the small amount he has to be split? After finding Ursa (if she's still alive) and healing that part of her past, does she accept it for her next wound? Would she follow in Zuko's footsteps and mix the different colors on her scars? Would she be too worried in being a copycat, or does she argue she deserves to have scars as widely traveled as she is? Or does she stick with the color of the spirit she's trying to live up to?

On the idea of different patterns and colors I do think that ruby, gold, bronze and silver probably stay the traditional colors to their respective cultures, but I do think it would be funny for a duo like Ty Lee and Sokka to accidentally on purpose create pink Kintsugi and Mai deadpans that he has to figure out obsidian now. While some embrace the different colors, I imagine some find the toying around with the Art form disrespectful (Zuko would like to stop being interviewed about this, he has enough on his plate with his mountains of paper work and he doesn't have an answer) and others say that it's the nature of healing and art to change over time.

I know you didn't mention parents in your tags but I can't help thinking about the parents/mentors of the gaang. Gyatso, Poppy and Lao would likely not spring for any form of Kintsugi, with Gyatso having much different reasons than the other two but still arriving to the same conclusion. Ozai had every wound sealed with it up to a ridiculous degree even for royalty, until he was imprisoned and after that I doubt anyone would be sealing his wounds given he scarred their teenage Fire Lord.

Iroh probably had every wound up to Lu Ten died sealed, but would he refuse it after that? Or what about Zuko's scarring? Does he ever accept it again after he helps liberate Ba Sing Se? Or does he see his former path as a shame he has to work the rest of his life to undo? Or is it him being influenced by other nations philosophies in a different way than Zuko is. Was he offered the powder from the Sun Warriors? So many questions swirl around him.

Ursa... oh poor Ursa. Up until her forced marriage I doubt her family had the money to participate in Kintsugi, and beyond that I doubt she had any scars that were that major. After her marriage... well then comes the question of if she wanted to. Or did Ozai force her to? Did he forbid her from sealing any scars she had gotten from him (mirroring his treatment of Zuko) and only allow sealing of scars caused from other sources? Was she looked down upon for not having sealed scars in court or did it make her seem more human to lower nobles? After her banishment if she chose to keep her memories does she ever seal another scar? Or does she choose to forget and worry at the few scars that were sealed, both confused and distressed by them? Does she lie to Kiyi or not even discuss them. And what does she do when Zuko returns, both more and less like the boy she remembers (if she even remembers) than she could of guessed? Ursa is just such compelling character, I think about her all the time. She just spins in my head non stop.

Moving to Kya, while we aren't shown her as being a warrior, the fact Hakoda sealed his daughter's scar makes me think that it's not that rare for women to have silver kintsugi, especially if the scar was received in defense of their family or during a raid. The men likely have more in general just given that they're more likely to receive scars by the time canon rolls around and all the water benders are gone including a good chunk of their women warriors, if not all of them. All of that to say I think the idea of Katara and Sokka tracing a scar Kya had sealed, and then that being reflected in Katara holding her own scar close as a memory of the women in her family and their strength is just... so good.

Hakoda definitely has the silver form, but it'd be interesting if he ever ends up in a situation where he's offered another form of kintsugi after the war ends. Was Bato offered the bronze form at the Abbey (they don't seem rich, but they also seem to run a successful business enough to support their healing efforts and the Abbey's needs so it's possible they could offer a small amount)? Did the southern warriors have their own silver form among their supplies? It'd be fascinating if Bato was one of the first in the story to have mixed kintsugi with some of his wound being bronze to fill in around the gaps the silver left (given how massive his wound is I doubt they'd have enough among the southern fleet supplies). The SWT really reflect the adaptability of water and so it wouldn't surprise me if they wouldn't balk at receiving the bronze form of kintsugi given they're allied with the EK.

On that note of adaptability, the idea of Sokka presenting a tired Zuko to Hakoda and being like "Katara adopted him no take backs I guess" while motioning at his chest scar and Katara scowls him in the background, being the first thing he does upon reuniting with his dad after the war makes me crack up. Hakoda just sighs and accepts this as his life now (and he wouldn't change it no matter how tiring all three (four?) of his kids are).

I like to think that the Sun Warriors' philosophy relies a lot on balance and duality, given the very nature of fire itself. Kintsugi being used only for very important and significant scars (perhaps even a coming of age ritual of sorts?) is such an amazing fit because celebrating bravery and honor while also respecting natural scars feels like something they'd believe in.

Kintsugi color varying depending on the dragon each scale comes from is also beautiful! Would they believe that gaining a scar from a specific dragon creates a connection between the human and the beast? That some of the dragon's power and personality will carry over to the Warrior?

Are Kintsugi scars even more precious between a bonded pair of human and dragon? Imagining Zuko sealing some of his scars with Druk's shed scales makes shivers run down my spine.

And talking about Zuko—I'm in love with the idea of the Kyoshi Warriors giving him bronze Kintsugi after a particularly nasty assassination attempt.

I think bronze Kintsugi powder/mixture is something Suki would keep near at all times, given how battle-ready and honour-bound the Kyoshi Warriors are. She'd appreciate her scars but not fret whenever she can't seal a wound with Kintsugi—the scar-sealing rage comes mostly from the Fire Nation, and Suki's too pragmatic to care about natural scarring.

As for Toph, she'd probably find Kintsugi fascinating. Much like rebelling and running away from home, Kintsugi becomes another way to escape her parents' views and hold on her life. It would be so cute if she'd insist on getting most of her wounds sealed by all kinds of Kintsugi after she meets the Gaang.

It becomes her way of bonding with them, since she loves to feel the different textures and weight of material. Other than Zuko, she's the first member of the Gaang to start collecting Kintsugi scars in all sizes, colors, and shapes.

As for Azula—what if instead of refusing Kintsugi after the Agni Kai, there's a medical reason she can't get them? Most of her injuries are internal anyway, and this impossibility of healing as she was used to (no longer beautiful, no longer perfect) could be another factor that contributes to her breakdown.

I like to think that Azula would actually be the one character who has less scars, other than Never-Have-I-Ever-Gone-Into-The-Frontlines Fire Lord Ozai. While having plenty of scars sealed with gold is a sign of status in the Fire Nation, having little to no scars just serves to flaunt her own status as a prodigy.

The Perfect Princess.

I don't think she'd ever stray from gold, even post-redemption. Instead she'd learn to accept natural scars as part of her, as something that doesn't make her broken or imperfect—just human.

Ty Lee, Mai, and Sokka figuring out how to color Kintsugi is so precious! They'd be absolutely insufferable once they make a breakthrough, baffling everyone with their multi-colored scars.

As for Iroh...oh, boy, that hurts.

Perhaps he swears off Kintsugi after Lu Ten's death, and while he accepts his mistakes and has worked to be better by the end of canon, I don't know if he'd still wish to accept Kintsugi. But, to be honest, Iroh is such a deeply complex character that any option would fit him. What do you think? What's the best choice for him?

Ozai forbidding Ursa from sealing any scar with Kintsugi is manipulative, psychologically abusive, demeaning, and absolutely something he'd do. I love that backstory for her so much because—may Agni forgive me—angst is my lifeblood.

If that's the case, then she'd probably get her first Kintsugi scar with Zuko right by her side.

But I digress.

The only DC characters that I think must have blue eyes are Dick Grayson and Clark Kent. Idk why these specific two characters. It just...is? Bruce? Maybe grey. All of the others? Brown. That's it. Because it's the most common colour. Especially Damian and Diana should have brown eyes.

90s Talia Head did, in fact, have brown eyes. Idk when it switched to green. (Before you say it: I know central asian people have coloured eyes. I know they're still ethnically brown. But it's still a fact that most people have brown eyes).

Selina has green eyes—she’s drawn with green eyes even then I remember a comic textually waxing about her blue eyes. Wanted to bash my head against a wall. Anyways, green is fine. But I like brown eyed Selina.

One time I read a Cass Cain character sheet with eye colour: green and I could have murdered DC execs. My respect for artists and colourists of DC for consistently drawing Cass with brown eyes.

And what's this shit about Lois having purple eyes? What is she? Elizabeth Taylor? Did she even have violet eyes or was it blue? Do purple/violate eyes even exist? Brown eyed Lois Lane, folks. That's it. It's only ✨ realistic ✨ don't dudebro writers love realism? Where's that realism when it comes to colouring?

I have this intense hatred of poc characters with coloured eyes—not because poc with coloured eyes don't exist, they absolutely do!—it’s just that brown is such a common eye colour, even among white people,and just... It seems like confirming to European standards of beauty like—“hey! We checked the diversity box, and just to let you know that this character is pretty, let us inform you they have coloured eyes!”

For ATLA I don't hate them having coloured eyes though... For some reason—maybe it's because of the cultural coding in a fantasy world thing. I don't grudge them that. Although I do draw all ATLA characters with brown eyes—amber in case of Zuko (only FN characters have canonically brown/amber eyes) but yeah. ATLA might be the only piece of media where I don't hate poc having coloured eyes. It's tied to bending and all so...yeah.

And please stop insisting live action actors should wear coloured contacts. They're a majority poc cast and most have brown eyes, fucking respect that.

P.S: kudos to Dexter Soy for giving us brown eyed Jason. He also draws Artemis as the fucking Amazon that she is—I wish they let him draw Kory. I haven't found Kory's design appealing since Perez stopped drawing her. What's the point if she isn't a head taller than Dick?

How do you think Fem! Aang would do as Fire Lady?

No.

I think that every fantasy with Zuko's ships, whether his partner, eventually ends up becoming FireLady or some other political position within the Fire Nation.

But Aang, whether male or female, doesn't have that option in my opinion. I could go the easy way and just be the FireLady, but I like to get complicated and in the lore I have of Zuk♀Aang, Aang never became FireLady, but she managed to have a greater social-political impact within Fire Nation by not be.

The reasons why I justify that ♀Aang wouldn't have the title of Fire Lady are:

The Fire Nation council, nobles, and public opinion would have pressured her to renounce her nationality. Aang is the only survivor of her nation, and the prejudiced culeros of FN would use that argument to take away her identity, since, from the little seen in the series and comics, women married to nobles and royalty had to renounce all their life and everything they are before they get married.

The tension and fear that would be generated in other nations. Aang already has an established role; being the Avatar, the bridge between the two worlds and the person who wields the four elements, and who stopped the 100 year war. Aang's role has to be impartial and focus on solving/mediating current problems between nations, so it would not be well regarded for Aang to have a relationship with Zuko, who is now FireLord. Having the Avatar as another representative of FN (FireLady), since that country was the one that caused the war in the first place, would bring disagreement and tension between the other countries towards FN.

Air nomads probably don't have marriages. This is a hc, but I consider that air nomads do not give importance to marriages or having paper records that say that this couple is together, maybe they do have a ceremony for it, but it's not common. So Zuko and Aang used that to their advantage, and various FN loopholes to be able to marry "unofficially", Zuko didn't marry as FireLord but as a civil person without titles just like Aang. So Aang would be the FireLord's first unofficial wife within FN records.

That Aang was only known as FireLady. Like any heroic story, over time it is romanticized to make it more interesting, and the story of Zuko and Aang as a couple would undoubtedly become a love story like Omashu; Possibly decades later there will be versions of the story saying that they fell in love at first sight and it was a forbidden love. When I think that really everything romantic happened after the war, anyway, if she had become FireLady, she would just be pigeonholed to that description. Aang is a character who, from the canon, has this implicit struggle with the people who dehumanize him; They treat him with this divinity that is being an Avatar and they don't see the person he is. If she were FireLady, it would be another dehumanization on her list, but at least with the title of Avatar I could still have something of her person, with FireLady I don't think so (in the palace, they refer to Aang as Lady Avatar or Avatar Aang).

And although she was not officially named as FireLady (wife of the FireLord) and did not have any power within FN. She would undoubtedly make a social-political impact within society, from not being a beautiful woman by traditional FN standards dating FireLord, to the ambiguity with which she handles international political treaties (whether against or for FN), which due to ZukAang's civil marriage, a dual nationality law began to be formed, raising awareness of environmental and spiritual management, and an entire artistic movement that decided to dedicate itself to retracing their moment or that of the royal family with Aang, are some of the things that come to mind.

All because Zuko is so fucking in love with her and only wants to have Aang as his partner!!

You scoffed remembering that day , she hyped you up convincing you to let her buy it for you. Now, that confidence from before had wavered as you looked at the mirror looking at your rolls and curves thinking of ways to cover them or maybe to not wear it at all.

You flinch as you hear a knock at the door pulling you out of your thoughts.

" How was your day? What'd Gyuvin do today?" I inquired curiously as he put me down slowly. Gunwook rolled his eyes playfully taking your hand in his as he took the plastic bag from the floor.

"You big squshy baby. Aww look at you." You cooed your boyfriend. The two of you were sprawled out on the couch with your big tough boyfriend being the little spoon. Hugging your waist and head resting on your chest. He looked around up at you dazed as you squished his cheeks and ran your fingers over his features.

"I'm not a baby. I'm very tough. "He pouted tiredly you snickered.

"Sure, you are. So tough and cute. You're so kissable." Yoo coo once again cupping his cheeks and kissing his forehead. He was so tired from practice, he just let it go. He closed his eyes as he basked into your kisses and affection.

"Mhmm." He hummed as he listened to you ramble on about the various topics in your head and leave kisses here and there on his face. He slowly began falling into a deep sleep as you ran your hand through his soft raven hair.

Zukaang aladdin au!! look i just really really need them to sing a whole new world on a magic Appa carpet ride while staring lovingly into each other's eyes. the balcony scene is also peak zukaang. zuko's dragon druk (instead of jasmine's tiger) sniffing and growling at aang until he realizes he is Safe. Momo is Abu in this case. Hmmm who is prince zuko being married off to? (my vote is zhao=jafar lol)

Omgggg anon! I genuinely love this AU idea. It actually works so well, especially with Zuko as Jasmine and Aang as Aladdin. All of those iconic moments with Zukaang would just be aaaaaaa. So beautiful. You’re making me want to make fan art of this now lol.

I think you’re right that Zhao is the closest counterpart to Jafar, but also if I were to personally try and adapt this AU, I would probably just do away with the whole “marrying the love interest off to the villain” plot lol (it always made me uncomfortable in the original movie anyway). In my version, Iroh would probs take on the role of Jasmine’s dad (the Sultan), Zhao would be Jafar, of course Momo would be Abu and Appa would be the magic carpet, but idek who the genie would be… Sokka (fits the comedic aspect)? Avatar Roku (fits the mystical advice-giver aspect)?? lmao.

Though I guess technically it also doesn’t have to be a one-to-one direct adaptation of everything that happens in Aladdin - like it could just be about Zuko being the FN prince who wants to see the world and not be married off to a rando, while Iroh is his kindly father figure/Fire Lord, and Zhao is the advisor trying to take over the FN. Aang is of course the scrappy street orphan who manages to catch his eye, and maybe he’s also secretly the Avatar who went missing as a baby? Either way he would have hair in this AU lol.

Maybe Toph is one of Zuko’s close friends - she’s a rich girl from another country who lives in the FN bc her parents are like the ambassadors for the EK or something, but she and Zuko often sneak out so they can have “normal” days in the city (and so Toph can fight in underground bending tournaments). Maybe Katara and Sokka are some of Aang’s friends who are also peasants - I can’t really think of how else they’d fit into the story unfortunately lol.

Anywaysssss sorry for the long ass reply anon, you got me to start seriously brainstorming for a second there haha! Idk if I’ll ever write an actual fic, but I’m definitely seriously gonna consider making some fan art for this AU concept… :)

Got an ask for you this time.

A reversal AU where Katara is the princess of the Water Tribe and Azula is a peasant from the Fire Nation. The Water Tribe isn’t the bad guys. There was never any war in this AU.

Azula and her family journey to the South Pole when the FN goes there for a diplomatic meeting. Azula is one of the servers at the feast and Katara can’t stop staring at her because she really thinks Azula is gorgeous. After the feast, Katara seeks Azula out and starts talking with her.

It’s slow, but they do bond a great deal while Azula is there. Whenever Azula is done with her chores and Katara is done with Princess lessons, they met up and hide away. Azula is worried about how people will react if they find out she’s seeing a princess and, while she never says it outright, Katara is also a little worried about how people will react if they find out she likes a peasant from the FN so they keep everything under wraps. The only people who know are Sokka and Zuko.

When Azula has to go back to the FN, Katara tries to find every reason to visit. Eventually, her parents let her and Sokka go to the FN and Katara tries to find Azula again. No one in the FN knows Katara is a princess so when she takes off the expensive furs and crown, she looks like a regular Water Tribe girl and two can be seen in public together. Now Katara gets to spend some time in Azula’s world.

This scenario is really interesting! I’ve never really though about the reversal of royal positions for Azutara before, so this is pretty cool.

In a no war Au, I can see this happening sort of like the following (maybe)

Its like you present, a peasant Azula can at first charm a (princess) Katara with her looks and then her personality as the two get to know each other.

I can picture a scene where there is some sort of international dispute being discussed between the SWT royal family (by Hakoda or his father) and the diplomats of the FN. And it is in the midst of this discussion when the FN diplomats call for wine bearers to come and bring in more drink.

This is when Azula comes in and stars pouring wine in everyone’s ones cups. Meanwhile Katara is having a discussion with an FN noble about fishing rights and Maritime boundaries between the South Pole and the Fire archipelago. While Katara is conversing she see’s her glass being filled up (with wine) and turns to look at the servant doing so. Only to stop dead in her grace as she sees the most beautiful women on the planet pouring the wine.

Katara openly gapes at Azula and she trails off in the middle of conversation. Sokka (who would be sitting to her right) has to stomp on her foot to get Katara to pay attention to the diplomat.

After everyone retired for the night, Katara would sneak out of her room (wearing what she believes is a “good disguise”) and try to get into the guest quarters. That held the FN diplomats and their retainers.

She’d find Azula randomly, and the two would have an enjoyable conversation. Talking about everything and anything. Life as a princess, as a servant, Waterbending, Firebending, politics, etc. And for the rest of the diplomatic mission, the two would have secret rendezvous at night. They quickly becomes good friends. Even showing each other their bending ability. Katara being amazing at Waterbending is expected. What Katara would not expect is for Azula to be powerful at firebending. Yet the peasant girl was. With Blue flames and the raw power to match even a princess of the Southern Water Tribe.

So for the next fortnight, Azula and Katara’s nights are spent talking, (sneakily) flirting, laughing, and sparing (discreetly so as to arose the suspicion of anyone else).

These rendezvous would continue until one night, Katara overwhelmed by desire, and falling in love with the beautiful Fire peasant, gives into her courage and kisses Azula.

From there, their secret rendezvous becomes more romantic. But eventually reality sets in and they have to “end” the affair. Even though neither of them really wish to do so. Katara is greatly worried about her parents and the rest of the Water tribes reactions to finding out she their prodigal princess has fallen for a peasant dorm the Fire Nation. Another girl at that!

Later when Azula goes back to the Fire Nation Katara becomes greatly depressed. Her love for the Fire girl is all consuming. So much so that he even begins to trump the bonds of duty. Eventually, Sokka notices Katara downtrodden state and (correctly) assumes that that is has to do with the beautiful servant girl from the Fire Nation that Katara drools over.

Sokka eventually goes to Hakoda (the high chief the United Water Tribes) and convinces him that he and Katara need to experience the Fire Nation for themselves. So as to better understand their newfound allies and financial partners.

Hakoda agrees, and Sokka goes to tell his sister the big news. Who is of course ecstatic.

Once the Water siblings get capital city, they check into the palace and greet the FN royal family. After this greeting, Katara goes into their library and reads their book of records. Once she finds the info she’s looking for (Azula adress, sir name, typical occupation, and other personal info) Katara puts the book back into its resting place.

Katara then flees the FN palace. Evading both the FN royal guard and the Water Tribe guards is a laughably easy affair. Had Katara not been so cornermen’s with finding Azula, she might have been concerned. As it was her mind was solely focused on the Fire Nation breaty. She had even forgotten to warn Sokka. She decided to leave her crown and other royal effects behind. With the exception of a coin purse.

Katara commanders a dingy in the docs. She paid for it though! And traveled via bait and Waterbending to Hawk-crab island (name I just came up with). Which was a small island in the southern archipelago, where Azula and her family lived. The trip itself took nearly two days. Katara spent the time alternatively thinking about Azula, how angry her parents would be, how she forgot to tell Sokka the good news, and damning her impulsiveness and forgetting to pack food. Fortunately, Katara being a royal Water bender can de-salivate the ocean water and make it potable.

Eventually, Katara arrives at the small port on the island. Anticipation and momentary panic erupting in her very bones. Still she steels herself and goes looking for her beau.

Walking through the port…town was an odd affair for Katara. She was used to be stared and gawked at all her life. Being a princess of the Water Tribes and all. Here? After Katara had gotten rid of anything signifying she was royalty? No one gave two cares about her. Sure, people would still occasionally stop and stair for a second. Because I she was WT on an FN island. And II she was great beauty in her own right. Still, now one belived her to be a princess. Such a realization was both dreadful and exhilarating for Katara.

She finally comes to a small shop in the middle of the port town. Katara had been directed to this shop by a kind women, after she inquired about Azula’s whereabouts. She entered into the small shop. It was duels designed. One area for black smithery and the other for glassblowing. And their Katara see saw her. The women of her dreams and and waking thoughts. Azula.

Azula looked up and saw Katara, her jaw dropped to the floor. She dropped the the glass she was working on and it shattered at the floor. Neither Azula nor Katara payed attention to that though.

Azula rushed to Katara arms and the two spun around. Laughing and crying tears of joy. Katara brought their lips together. Finally she was home.

For the next few month, everything was perfect. While it lasted. Katara got to know Azula and her family. Her father Ozai (a blacksmith), her mother Ursa (a tailor), and her brother Zuko (an apprentice-blacksmith). Katara didn’t believe that life as a peasant could be so fulfilling. To be sure, it could be exceedingly frustrating. And it took a long while to adjust from being a princess to peasant. But nothing could be the simple of joy of returning to the arms her girlfriend future wife(?) after an honest days work. Katara fished off her dingy that she brought over from capital city. Zuko would often tease Azula about being a trophy fishwife to a WT princess.

Katara and Azula are able to be together incognito. Katara is able to enjoy the simple life in the Fire Nation. Just her, her fishing boat, and the her pretty Firebending girlfriend.

Until of course, the Water tribe arrives. You see the guards panicked when the princess Katara disappeared with out a word. They had assumed she may have been kidnapped. And so the Hausa quickly rushed to inform the Chief Hakoda just what was going on.

Sokka assumed that Katara had found where her Fire Nation lover was and gone after her. So he was not overly worried. Especially, when he found (and later hid) Katara’s royal effects. Sokka would keep up a girl of ignorance to confirm the guards and the Fire Nation nobility at the FN palace. Sokka would do a good job of it too. Until Hakoda showed up in the Fire Nation personally.

Under his fathers intense scrutiny, Sokka lasted maybe V or VI minutes. Then he blabbed. Both about Katara’s love for a Fire Nation peasant (Azula) and her intentions to find her.

Hakoda and Sokka subsequently travel to Hawk-Crab island to find Katara. They find her to the Fire Family home. Hakoda demands that Katara abandon this peasant foolishness and return to the South Pole. Katara tells him of her feelings for Azula, but Hakoda replies that it is irreverent next to her duty. He offers a choice to Katara stay with the peasant and become one yourself, or return to the South Pole and remain a princess of the Water Tribes and a member of their family. While Hakoda does not like separating Katara from her love, he feels it is something me must do to maintain order in the tribes.

It is at this point, that Azula interrupts Hakoda and request permission for Katara hand. Right to the chiefs face. Impressed by the peasant girls audaciousness, Hakoda decides to give task reminiscent of say Beren and Luthien of the Silmilrilion. If Azula retrieved the pearl of spirit Sharks cove. A jewel of myth and legend, important to the Water Tribes culturally and materially. Then he allow Azula to marry his daughter, and even for Katara to retain her title and place in succession.

It was an near-impossible task that may mean Azula’s death. But she accepted it gladly. She traveled to the hive and retrieved the pearl. Overcoming all obstacles. Though only because of the aid of Katara (who did so secretly).

Azula presents the pearl to Hakoda and true to his word, grants permission for Azula and Katara to marry. Which they do gladly. Several years down the line.

Eventually, the two will bare a child (spirt shenanigans) whom will inherit the chieftenship of the Water Tribes.

Plot-wise, this was definitely in the top three of my favorite vday requests and I really enjoyed writing the soulmate concept. Gogeta is still one of those characters that doesn't come as easy to me to write but when I get it, I get it! And he's always softer than what I intend for which I love.

— Bedtime Story

**JJK SPOILERS** I honestly ain't been the same since Toji's second death and what it reveals about him. First death? Well okay you died doing what you loved sweetie time to rest. Second death? Please sedate me I have not known a singular day of peace! 😭😭 But I needed a Toji fic that wasn't him just blowing out backs. So I just wrote him being a dad and husband, happy, existing in the same space at the same time as his wife and child while she tells a bedtime story to Megumi that becomes about them AND THEY ALL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. Wishing everybody but the Zenin clan and Mahito a very peaceful rest of the year.

Wrote this mostly for the Halloween season and Fn-f movie, also I weirdly had just noticed at the time majority of Gero's androids have the same blue eyes and wanted to do something with that. This is probably one of maybe two fics I wrote this year without any pairings or romance. With this AU, I toyed around with the idea of an angry spirit (a la fn-f lore style) being trapped inside his own body from his violent death, only now his body is this "bio-android prototype" shell and he represents Android 16 instead of canon 16. After Bulma fixes him, the spirit starts to regain some of his memory and fights against Gero's android programming. I wanted to continue this but of course SOTS took priority and now I think it's fine as a standalone one-shot for its little twist ♥

Virgin!Vegeta plot has to be the highlight of the year though, I love how involved everyone was with this concept and the many fics that were born from it. ♥♥♥♥ Consider this one a fave more for what the prompt inspired from a few of my favorite fic writers than what I wrote, but I'm always proud anytime I get to write a flustered Vegeta. It's the only way I know how to write him.

your art is beautiful! however, I'm a bit confused about the implications of drawing katara in fire nation's military uniform, especially with the quirky caption "maybe fire nation was right", knowing that the fire nation was responsible for the genocide of her people, in which her own mother was killed in.

I'm sorry if the drawing or the caption confused or offended anyone—it wasn't my intention, though I am aware of the implications.

The caption was a wink at the reactions of the casting of Ozai's character in the Netflix show ("Maybe the FN has a point" "I wouldn't mind siding with the bad guys now", that kind of thing). It wasn't serious, merely a joke (cause, you know, they're hot).

As for having Katara willingly join Zuko's crew, there's a catch—she's joining Zuko's agenda, not the Fire Lord's.

In this AU, Zuko is set on capturing the Avatar, not because he wants his father's approval, but rather because it is the only way he has to reclaim his title as Crown Prince. Zuko plans to dispose of his father and end the war, but to do so he first needs a claim to the throne.

Katara knows this and, combined with her resentment towards the Avatar (and feelings of betrayal when she found out Aang was lying to her about his identity), she made the decision to join Zuko because he, unlike Aang—who had dissapeared before and could very well, in her eyes, do it again—provided her with an actual plan with very high probabilies of success that allowed her to contribute to the end the war.

So, you see, I'm doing my best to not take this matter lightly. I know how Katara's choices may look like from an outsider's point of view—and, believe me, that's going to cause a lot of problems for her within the AU, especially with her family.

username1: the way Joe will only be active on Instagram is when he wants to post about football or when he wants to support Y/N’s business.

username2: i was at the pop-up shop earlier today and saw him clinging by Y/N’s side any chance he got when she wasn’t busy talking to customers and if she was busy talking to customer he would hang out in the back of the shop, away from the crowd… i can’t believe the Bengal’s Quarterback is such an anti-social guy when it comes to any events outside of football.

↳ username3: when i went to the pop-up shop on the 2nd day that the shop was open, it was very crowded… and with today being the last day i would expect there to be more people than the amount of people on the first day and second day of the shop being open. so it’s not surprising that Joe (who is anti-social) wouldn’t like being in that crowded environment of the shop.

↳ username4: it’s sweet to know that even though Joe doesn’t like crowded places where he’s not comfortable… he still wants to go support Y/N and her dreams just like how she has alway supported him.

username1: i think this is the first time in an interview where Y/N talks about Joe and didn’t try to shut down the questions about him… it makes me happy that she is starting to be more comfortable publicly talking about their relationship.

↳ username2: most of the time in Y/N’s interviews, they’ll always ask about her relationship with Joe and never want to talk about anything about else… but in this interview, the only question that was about Joe was asked to Y/N towards the end of the interview and the question wasn’t about their relationship.

It's Daz Games: Panic Reloaded for Week Two and Colossus for Week Three!

A fascinating pair I know!

Daz Games: Panic Reloaded is a Scaremaze/Escape Room hybrid at Alton Towers, utilising NFC wristbands and various symbols around the area that guests must scan in order to break free and escape Anti Vi's grasp. You've got six minutes since you enter to get out, strobes and actors all around who can disorientate and distance you from your goal so get cracking!

Colossus however is a fan favourite over here in the South /j She's actually underrated, but don't let her rough nature and somewhat confusing lore deter you! Col is a beauty in her own right and her FN Audio {Dispatch and area} is something I absolutely recommend looking into {@cherrykitkat is also looking into recording this}.
