Rereading TGCF, and wouldn't it be cute if the ox cart driver and the ox from the first book are Yushi Huang and her ox in disguise?

She and Hua Cheng seem to be cool with each other, and later on he reaches out to her to help save Xie Lian (and even shows up as one of her farmers! Cute!)

Also,the ox cart driver calls the ox "Old Huang". Maybe not significant, but maybe??

So what if, after finding out Xie Lian is back, he called out to her to please please help him with a meet-cute idea.

yushis genuine kindness makes my heart ache soemtimes like during xie lians first ascension she was the only one willing to help him even though she hadnt even personally met him, or the fact she really doesnt hold a grudge against pei and was willing to save him multiple times and even give her sword to him
