THE STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE BECOMES A STRUGGLE OF A LIFETIME, A WOMAN'S STRUGGLE FOR LIVELIHOOD.

Im going to tell you a real story of a woman who has struggled and is still struggling in the court of law for justice, she is struggling for what is rightly hers without infringing anyone's rights. Yet for the last 14 years all she has gotten from the courts is false hopes and dates. It makes one question the Indian Legal System and how the wheels of justice move agonisingly slowly and the way in which it is dispensed and the fact that it ends up costing a person at most times their own life and yet justice has not prevailed.

In a case that was Filed in the year 2010, Shamili (Complainant) filed a case against her husband Nandish (respondent). Shamili along with her 2 minor children were turned out of the house by her husband. The truth behind this whole matter was that this was not the first time that Shamili's husband had turned her out of the house, he used to do this very often, given the fact that Shamili's whole family was settled abroad she had no support or family to look upto in such situations. This very truth because Nandish's strength, this was the very thing he used against her everyday of their marriage life. Nandish was a powerful and rich businessman who had one of the most talented people working for him, and need it be said money was never an area of concern for him.

Shamili was turned out of the house with her 2 minor kids Pallavi who was 11 years old at that time and Angad who was 9 years old. Shamili having nowhere to go sought help of an uncle who very humbly offered roof over their head for as long as they needed. Never once during the first few months had shamili thought of seeking divorce from her husband all she wanted was to be able to live with his family who loved her dearly. Shamili worked over 16 hours a day to put food on the table for her children, she tried to give them everything, taking them for tuitions, swimming etc. She with all the limited means tried to make a small living for them, the children barely saw her in those days. She struggled with insomnia due to excessive stress, all that happened in the house took a toll on both the kids especially Pallavi who being the eldest child saw her father for who he truly was. The children never went for trips, birthday parties or did anything a child in their age would normally do, mainly because they never had the money. To be able to afford an ice cream in those days became difficult.

After a few months Shamili chose to tell her family what had happened, she initially just spoke to her elder brother, who along with her close friends advised her to seek divorce. She was asked to file criminal proceedings as well against her husband Nandish who had duped her and emptied the bank accounts of the kids of any money that they had. All said and done these proceedings were filed, Nandish filed for divorce in Australia as he was a citizen there as well, Shamili not having the finances could not contest and within a period of 90 days with an ex parte order the divorce was granted. Shamili too filed for maintenance in the court of law to help her and the kid survive.

The court Initially awarded her a maintenance of 60,000 rupees a month along with 10,000 each for the kids, this was awarded under Section 125 of the CrPC. She and her lawyers knew that Nandish was earning in crores and his worth was unfathomable, but like every person in court he claimed to have lost everything and claimed he had come to the streets and had nothing to give to his estranged wife and children. The court works on proof, nothing is believed in court until you have proof to support your claims. Shamili and her Lawyer worked day and night to accumulate proof of his assets not because she was greedy or because she wanted to be rich but because she knew in today's time and the rising Inflation with the amount been decided raising 2 kids will not be easy. She knew her husband bought judges, lawyers, police officials basically anyone who could have been proved to be of any assistance to her, thereby closing all doors for her survival.

Finally after months of hard work they gathered all proof necessary to prove his assets, his month earning and the court having to have paid attention to the new proof under section 127 of the CrPC modified the maintenance to 10 Lakhs to Shamili and 5 Lakhs each to the kids. Now when someone hears this they think that's great, they are settled for life, they will be comfortable but lemme tell you the grass is always seems greener on the other side.

Yes the court modified the maintenance, Yes Nandish was asked to pay the amount and all that had accumulated over the years, but here is the twist, Shamili never saw the money even after 14 years she and her kids are struggling to get maintenance. The court dates keep coming and Nandish uses his power to procrastinate having to pay. This journey of seeking justice has cost the kids their childhood, they were once minors badly in need of money to survive now both the kids are in their 20's almost finished with college.

Seeking justice for herself and her kids seems like an endless journey and this journey seems to have no end. The dates keep piling, the documents keep piling but justice is far from being served. It's stories like this that make one doubt the working o the Indian judicial system and it's working. Let's hope this journey bears fruit at the end and this struggle they are having to go through does get them the justice they deserve.

Because they were, and Emily so very much wanted to be wrapped up in those arms, have them pull her tight against Shamira, her nails making deep, shaky marks along her shoulder blades as Emily pushed aside her dress and ground her hips-*

*She shook her head to try and physically clear the thoughts from her head. She didn’t feel guilty for having them anymore, but if her mind kept going she was going to have a hard time making that time constraint Ass had given them*

*She grinned and stepped through the portal, letting it slip closed behind her as she slid her arms behind Shamira’s neck and crossed her wrists gently behind her, tucking low to press their foreheads into each other*

“Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking my knight.” *Emily pulled away just enough to quickly press her lips to her forehead* “Now, let’s put those artistic skills to work! Makeup is just living art. It’s purposeful sometimes as well, like when covering things up, but it’s just art where you are the canvas.”

*Shamira’s skin was mostly clear, her quick healing abilities meaning that she, unlike Emily, did not have to conceal anything. Instead, Emily showed her eyeshadow pallets, lipsticks, eyeliners and mascara. They didn’t have much time but the guardian was a quick study and swiftly developed a look that she liked*

*Emily helped her apply her eyeliner, leading her to sit up on the counter. She stood between her knights legs, their faces close together, breath mingling in the space between as she carefully drew along her waterlines. It was intimate and Emily briefly wondered why she had never done it before, never held her knight close by the cheek and dared her to trust her, allow her the ability to be near one of her weakest points with an object that could so easily be weaponized. She knew she would never hurt her if she could avoid it, but it was important to the seraph to see the proof that Shamira knew that too.*

*When she was done she ran a hand through her hair, pushing it back to enjoy the view with a sigh* “I love you. You’re so beautiful and I’m so lucky to have you. I don’t tell you often enough, but you are absolutely gorgeous.”

*She sighed and pulled away, handing Shamira the mascara and quickly fixing her own hair as she spoke* “I think we’re already late, so I’m going to go back to the office before Ass catches us. Thank you for letting me do this with you.” *She quickly slipped a hand into Shamira’s free one and pressed a kiss to the knuckles* “Until I see you again, my knight.”

*Back in the office she bounced on her tippy toes, hand already on the handle, excited to see what outfit Ass had picked out*

*A portal opens up to her office and Emily steps through, back from a day of bringing Joy to the masses. Despite how much she accomplished today, she still found fifteen minutes to run into a few shops and pick up a couple gifts. She grinned ear to ear as she held them under her arms*

*For Shamira, a box that wouldn’t open until all of the puzzles were solved and a handmade jigsaw. Some of the pieces were shaped like animals and it had no picture reference. She looked forward to seeing the completed picture when it was done*

*For Ass, a remote control car with a track that you could rearrange that came very highly recommended by the young winner who had held up the little red car to her. She also had purchased a butterfly comb for her. Similar to a balisong, but without the knife, since, heaven*

*She quickly and quietly wrapped the gifts, trying not to alert the two angels in the other room. When they were ready, she opened the door to her office*

Shamira locks her arms out, gaze snapping to the office door the moment the portal opens. “Emily’s back.”

A: “She’ll be out in a minute. If it takes more than ten minutes, we’ll go check on her, now keep going.” *they continue their push-ups in tandem* “Kinda weird you can sense holy energy like that.”

“You can sense me like that.”

A: “Which we’ve also agreed is kinda weird.”

“I wonder why we’ve developed new abilities…”

A: “Well, having you shoved in my body kinda changed me from being an Exorcist angel. Likewise, you’re a whole new type of angel. Heaven’s all about rules but your creation broke a few. I think now we’re kinda in uncharted territory.”

They reach the end of their set and sit across from each other, stretching out their arms. “This is just for maintenance, correct? Not pushing ourselves?”

A: “Nah, a thousand push-ups is just a way to pass time.”

Shamira nods, then looks over as the door opens and Emily steps through. “Welcome home, Princess.”

A: “How was your day, Emmy? Looks like less construction work involved.” *she’s teasing, of course, as she hops to her feet and helps Shamira up, both of them dressed in their workout clothes* “And why do you look like the cat that ate the canary?”

Danny Fenton as a bio kid, with Jazz also there because she's Danny's adoptive sister, and then Dani and Dan as technically bio kids. You can also add Sam and Tucker if they are married because they'd be son and daughter in laws.(ghost marriage? Human marriage? Who knows!)

Wes as a possible bio kid, which means you can add some of Wes' family members, most likely Kyle cuz he's a more famous one. They are family through adoption like Jazz.

Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug as a possible biological kid, I don't think she has any siblings, and I doubt Adrien is there.

Billy Batson aka Shazam aka Captain Marvel as a biological kid, could have all of the Shazamily(shazily? Shazamly? Shamily?) Shazam family there because they're family through adoption, and consider themselves as siblings.

"Let's play a game of 'How well do you know your kids?'" The being shouted, eyebrow still twitching from Robins latest remark.

"I know all my children perfectly." Batman growled at the entity. He held his ground as the spirits (demons?) smile sharpened, "Than you won't mind!"

A puff of purple glowy smoke engulfs then entire area and the next thing anyone knows is that all of Bruces children, even the ones who weren't with them previously, are locked inside magical cages while Batman is trapped in a invisible mime box with a podium and a microphone in what is quite possibly the most garish game show set up ever.

Why was everything neon green and purple? Why was the guy neon green and purple? Who were these other kids-gdi Bruce! You have more kids?

Danny could just transform and beat up the ghost. Its a pretty weak one after all. But this one doesn't seem to recognize him as a halfa and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do his homework without being attacked.

Jason stared at the kid next to him. What kinda life did this kid have to calmly get out his math homework and start solving problems while being held hostage by an unknown entity?! And with the bats no less?!

All the while Batman is getting peppered with questions about his kids and is realizing he doesn't recognize a few of the names.
