I've been doing plenty of art lately I just haven't had anything to show here! I always forget about stuff here. Anyways.

My artistic interpretation of a sandworm after the assault on the Emperor's troops

They mostly eat planktonic life forms with only occasional larger meals they must've been so stuffed I bet the shai-hulud were all in big lazy food comas while digesting for the next six months

Watched Dune Part 2 recently, was a good movie!

the prototype, and the final. the prototype was a spur of the moment thing, because i get silly ideas. but the final, this bad boy is over a meter long, with an articulated spine starting about 30cm from the head. the un-spined space is to accommodate the depth of the mouth. my wife says i should use it as a scarf.

tried to source the artist for this piece, but it seems short of buying the rule book to look up the credits i can only narrow it down to probably one of the following:  Louie Maryon, Ramazan Kazaliev, Pat Fix, Amir Zand, Carlos Garijo, Eren ARIK, Mitch Aseltine, Carmen Cornet, Joel Chaim Holtzman.  reverse image search only gets me to modiphius promo stuff.  not sure why it would be so hard to specify in their material.  i looked up each of the artists’ portfolios with no direct hits and a bunch are too similar in style to pinpoint .  if anyone knows please let me know.

I know this is very similar composition-wise AND color-wise to the Neverending Story one I did a couple of days earlier but I really wanted to do something Dune-related AND I couldn't think of anything else hahaaa. Anyways this is supposed to be a sand worm!

Is There A Dune Stamp?

We've gotten a couple questions about this one, and we're happy to report that yes, yes there is.

San Marino issued what we believe to be the only official stamp featuring Dune in 1998 as part of a souvenir sheet celebrating "a century of science fiction." The issue also includes stamps for The War of the Worlds, 1984, and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
