Where's Adam?

Lucifer got to the hotel later that day, and when he saw all the missing person posters, he asked Charlie, who just shrugged. Then he asked the question that had been on his mind for a couple of weeks.

Lucifer: Say, has anyone seen Adam lately?

Everyone stopped immediately, and the silence had never been louder.

Charlie: You mean the leader of the exorcists, Adam? He's in heaven dad.

Lucifer: No, he checked in at the hotel a couple of months ago.

Angeldust: Your majesty, no offense, but are you doing alright?

Lucifer: I'm doing just fine. But if this is a joke, then it's a poorly thought-out one.

Alastor: I'm afraid that this is no joke. Thete is no Adam here. Check the check-in book.

Lucifer stood up and went to the front desk to begin looking through the guest book. No Adam at all. He then stood up again and ran to Adam's room, but when he got there and opened the door, it was just a cleaning closet.

Charlie had gone to follow him.

Charlie: Dad! Sit down! Are you doing alright? You're acting insane!

Lucifer backed away from the door in confusion and fell onto the floor. Where the hell had Adam gone?

From the mind of @artemisnightingale216 here's my take of how the firsts moments of the chapter 5 from Fantasies Unwind, a Hazbin Hotel Au turned an Hades and Persephone retold.

On this moment, Charlotte, who has to get over a brainwashing, just rejected Alastor, and he's taking as well as he can (he's emptying booze glass after another so yeah... and it's lucky he's aware of the brainwashing and or else this could have gone worse).

I basically mixed the style of the Hotel and Alastor's personal room in order to design the room, since he's a more classy version Alastor, so no swamp related stuff.

A friend of mine on Discord is cooking up a FNAF revamp idea, pretty much going "how would I, using the base ideas and characters in FNAF, make that world?"

It proposed to me that, as part of this rework, Charlotte and Sammy should be the two Shadow animatronics, and I felt I had to make art for it.

(non-transparent version under the cut, as well as some design choices ramblings)

Some design choice tidbits;

- Since these are creatures made of pure agony, beings manifesting pure hatred, I imagined it would put a spin on the designs of Springbonnie and Fredbear, whom we decided the Shadow animatronics would be based on (Because there's no theming in the original, it's Fredbear and Toy Bonnie for some reason)

- Charlotte is Shadow Springbonnie, and Sammy is Shadow Fredbear

- I used a theoretical "cartoon design" of these two as their bases

Raised Together AU

The day Alastor's shadow first gained sentience.

Alastor: Aah! *Trips backwards in horror.*

Shadow: D: *Hands up kitten startle reflex, but noticeably has not fallen over.*

Alastor: *Getting real sick of all this weird demon heritage stuff.* Daaaad?!

Shadow: *Just a baby.* l:

Little Alastor with his baby shadow is giving me flashbacks to Disney's Peter Pan. Just picture kid Alastor and Charlie playing together and all of the sudden Charlie starts giggling at something Alastor hasn't noticed.

It takes Alastor a little while to notice his sister looking at something over his shoulder and bursting out into giggles. He turns around and sees nothing. Just the wall. Back to Charlie. She's pursing her lips, trying to act like she hadn't been laughing and they go back to their play. Probably singing and dancing. And then Charlie starts laughing again. Again, Alastor sees nothing but his shadow cast on the wall thanks to how they set up the lamps to act as stage lights. Again, Charlie acts like she wasn't just laughing at something Alastor didn't understand. Alastor presses X to doubt. He goes back to dancing but this time he's watching for Charlie's reaction much more closely. When she begins to bite her lip to hold back laughter he spins around to find his shadow dancing on its own, not noticing Alastor watching it. At least, not until he shrieks.

Cue Lucifer sprinting into the room in a panic, tripping over a toy, then scrambling to his feat with his feathers all ruffled as he asks what's going on, what happened, who screamed, is everyone alright? All while both Charlie and Alastor's shadow are roaring with laughter and Alastor is just staring slackjawed.

GOOOOOOD GOLLY. FLIPSIDE LORE FOR THE GREATER PARANORMAL AU!!!! This took way more effort than I would usually willingly put into a project but. Honesty very proud of the result :-]
