these are two characters that have been explicitly confirmed to be gay. It’s been confirmed by the creators of Arrested Development that Gob is gay. Mac has flat out said “I’m gay” meaning he came out explicitly as gay. “but they’ve shown attraction to women which means they’re-”

Do you not know what compulsory heterosexuality is? Would you go up to a real life gay person who’s dated someone of the opposite gender and tell them they’re actually bi? No, right? Because that would be disrespectful. Hot take? But headcanon is over when that aspect of the character has been explicitly confirmed. ESPECIALLY if you’re going to negate it.

Now that we are being followed by people, we need to make some thoughts and opinions clear so that people are not later Shocked And Disgusted or whatever by thoughts we have held for many years. We think it's weird and also bad to treat queer people like they're a different species from cishet people, and we think that treating things like Having A Sexuality makes a character better than if they have a different sexuality is bad no matter what way you put it.

We also think that, if in your setting queer folks are widely accepted and straight isn't a "default", it may be worth noting that, say, a straight woman might need just as much self-discovery to work out she's straight that a lesbian does nowadays. In the same manner that, in Ace Attorney, Larry Butz needs to tell Phoenix that no matter how many photos of handsome men he shows him, he's tried, he's just not attracted to men,

hey. you probably won't see this, but i just wanted to say thank you for not being a jerk about bi lesbians. it's really disheartening how much hate we still get, and it's nice to see someone just. not doing that.

it's nice to know someone with a (probably?) big blog/account is in our corner.

not sure why i shouldn't be able to see this ask, i am not as big of a blog as some people think HAHAHAHA. but hey you're welcome. I'll always stand behind anyone who defines a label through their personal experience. as long as you're not trying to define other people's experiences for them, it's literally nobody's business but yours.

must admit dollhouse 1x11 briar rose is a fucking insane piece of television writing

Happy end of the year, folks! I made this comic, and I’m mostly posting it here first so that I can fight with Instagram’s post interface later. Full comic is under the cut!

Also, I spent a fair bit of time writing up image descriptions for everything, so please let me know if I did anything wrong or that I should keep in mind for the future! This was the first time I've ever done it, so hopefully it's not too clunky :)

Listen, I am a simple woman, if you are going to oversexualize a woman in your piece be it videogame, drawing, or writing, I will be happy as long as there also has a oversexualize men.

Your female character have little clothing? no problem as long as a male character also has little clothing.

Your female character ends up in questionable positions? don't be a coward and do the same to a male one.

And so on, because I believe in equality, and men are more likely to just take their shirts off, let get that straight.
