19 December PBC Updates

Hi folks! Hope the holiday season is treating all y'all who celebrate well - here in the bookclub, we've got a few updates & reminders heading into the weekend to leave you with.

Firstly, the mod team will be out of office this upcoming week, from the 22 December to the 29th for the holidays. We'll still be reachable if there are any emergencies, but standard activity - tickets, emails etc - aren't guaranteed a response until the following week. (Please don't burn the place down while we're gone /lh)

Second - AuFiCon panelists, if you haven't already read the 16/12 email from us, please do so ASAP. It contains the current event schedule, along with some other info/links we'd like for you to know.

Attendees, the first of the year is looking to bring a lot of exciting news about the con, please hang tight! And, until then, remember that now is a great time to pick up a ticket :)

Why are fandom discord servers some of the most stress inducing places in the world like why is it when you post anything into any chat it feels like either a) you're purposely being ignored or b) you've pissed someone off just by speaking. And it's such a pain in the dick because if you want any sort of help with anything or want to be even a little bit apart of a community you have to be in these servers. While the whole time it feels like that one meme picture of all the girls sneering at the camera because you dared show your face in there

sorry for the late reply!

the server has verification set up and we have only had a couple trolls attempt to join, theyve all been turned down at verification though and none have entered the server to my knowledge!
