Even though it’s summery-style, still useful for back to school or in general. Nothing beats a cute little snake, or multiple snakes. 🐍 they’re so hard to find something nice to wear as, but so adorable. They just make a cute theme, and fangs out they’re all around fiery fierce but small. Plus, they’re easy to make into pretty much any cool items that are easy enough for them to fit in. Some of them anyway.

Lazarus Pits are toxic (read practically acidic) to most realms beings. The keyword being most. There are in fact two beings that are immune. 

The first is those with shadow cores, as their cores are quite literally designed to adapt and mirror the aspects of their surroundings alongside anything that may harm them. And those types of ghosts are already rare, most destabilizing when younger because they think they can adapt to something they can’t handle yet. 

The second thing? Halfas. The Pits heal those close to death but who cling to life, and Halfas? Constantly inbetween life and death, no matter what form they take. So something that would normally burn both the living and dead? Does practically nothing to them. In fact? It heals them. 

So a shadow-cored Halfa searching through the zone for a safe spot for his clone-kids to heal? Well, there’s never been a safer place.

AU in which Silver Elite breaks out in civil war over whether to associate Sephiroth with cats or snakes. The cat faction seems to have an assured victory until the snake faction comes up with a snake-tongued chibi mascot of Sephiroth that is too adorable to resist.

"Chairwoman H" becomes so preoccupied with trying to suppress this and prevent a schism that the R&D Department falls into disarray. (Personally, "she" prefers cats, but hates the cat faction's proposed name for its breakaway club: "Feline Elite.")

IAYAS v.1.2 update!

I've re-released I Adjure You Ancient Serpent! It's the first RPG made with @titanomachyrpg's Caltrop Core, and for its second birthday, I went and redid its layout, made some rule changes, and added a bunch of pictures.

Izuku rediscovers magic and uses it to become hero

Izuku was falling.

Not metaphorically, but very literally falling from a terrifying height. Mizuchi had said it was tradition for a dragon's first flight but Mizuchi had been laughing at the way his face had paled when he'd plucked him off his back with his too-large teeth. Izuku was never trusting the river dragon again.

Against his better instincts, he closed his eyes, reaching inwards to his magic. It was about as panicked as he was, bubbling like a pot about to boil over. He didn't bother trying to calm it, he was kind of on a time crunch. Mizuchi didn't mean to kill him, but the dragon had a terrible idea of what killed a mortal and Izuku wasn't sure he'd ever covered 'falling from the cloud layer to the very hard ground below'.

The air whipping past him lashed at his clothes and sting his bare skin. A very harsh reminder he needed to figure this out before the ground hit him a whole lot harder.

Forcibly clearing his mind, Izuku focused on Mizuchi's instructions. He siphoned some of the bubbling panic in his chest through his system, twisting it's shape from panic-terror-annoyance to control-light-air. It was a weird shape, Izuku's magic naturally sat quite happily in what Kiyohime had described as sunlight-steady-growth, a much more earth natured leaning than anything that should be able to fly.

He'd never been fond of doing what he was meant to.

He wind felt softer, the sinking feeling in his bones was less, but izuku wasn't in control yet. He was still falling. He plastered an All Might grin on his cheeks, took that borrowed joy and pushed.

He cracked open an eye. The noise of jibbering panic that left his mouth as he reached out and touched a leaf of the tree he'd almost crashed into was something he wasn't proud of, but felt was understandable, given the circumstances.

Mizuchi's snort of laugher from above him had him narrowing his eyes. "Not bad for a mortal, I was worried I'd need to drop you again."

"Mizuchi!" Izuku wailed, flexing the magic that was granted him the ability to not die via horrific blunt force impact. "This kills humans! You wouldn't have dropped me twice because I could have been a pancake!" He dragon huffed a laugh as Izuku rained whaled on his massive snout, thick scales stopping his smacks from feeling like anything more than love taps.

"It worked didn't it?"

Izuku's eyes narrowed. "I'm telling Kiyohime."

A dragon couldn't pale in fear but Izuku discovered it could get pretty close.

Red characters tend to be both quiet and observant as well as loud and dramatic. They are often brash and impulsive, and tend to act on instinct rather than planning ahead. They are quite self-sacrificing, often veering into self-destructive, and they push themselves to their limits trying to succeed. They have a strong sense of internal morality and high standards for themselves. They also hold others to their internal high standards, which can cause a lot of conflict if not worked out. They tend to have bad relationships with their parental figures, who were usually either absent or abusive, and contributed to their toxic view of themselves. At their core, red characters want to be loved and accepted, but have often been denied it, leading them to build up lots of defenses. Others need to be patient with them and give them a safe space to be themselves as they open up and begin to flourish.
