sorry if im old man yelling at cloud about this but the recent crop of people asking for permission to take inspiration from stuff, whether it be art or photos or characters or any of that is like. so weird to me. part of the joy of art and especially participating in art communities is being able to freely take inspiration from whatever you see. the thought that you alone can "own" an idea and somehow no one is ever allowed to think that thought or use it in their own work is like. insane. hello.

because ive had to answer this question several times now: my blanket statement is and forever will be to get inspiration wherever. the idea that a concept can ever be owned is and will forever be corporationspeak. fuck that noise. steal.

There's something I love about Home being the catalyst for Peach not only being able to see ghosts but of the subsequent events that led to his withdrawal from life while also, years later, being the catalyst for Peach's healing. All along, Home has been unknowingly healing the damage he caused, coaxing Peach back into the world of the living—at first, it was just for his own selfish ends, but now it's with purpose because he cares about him. I just— That is so delicious to me. He's the cause and the cure without even knowing!! (Obviously it’s more complex, but I’m tired and anxious and just thinking about this one facet)

And I really can't wait to see what this reveal does to their relationship (angst incoming, one assumes) and how it's all going to play out and ahhhhhh! I really love this show.

Yeah, a dissection on class disparity would be cool as the end result where the corruption of Home's family has clearly caused a lot of harm to people's livelihood. But, it's not like they haven't touched on it at all, and they've touched on the effect that the upper class have had on the poor. Even if his grandfather was not aware of the aunt's action in screwing over the livelihood of the residents, he's not wholly innocent either. He moved them from their homes and forced them to live in somewhat cramped apartment blocks. His influence is not negated because he was a good parental figure, two things can exist at the same time without excusing his wrongful behaviour. And in relation to that I also don't want the uncle to be somehow responsible for Home's sake, because that's his only remaining family and doesn't deserve that heart break. Though I can't lie, the fact that he did no disclose that Home had not drunk is still suspicious and puts me on edge but I want to delusionaly assume that he was too drunk to remember.

Also, at the end of the day this has always been a ghost show, so it's only fitting that we end with ghost shenanigans and sometimes that means the occult lol.
